We were looking for a bite to eat near Globe Life Field/ATT Stadium and were drawn in by the Cajun options Thrill's had to offer, especially the stuffed turkey leg. As soon as we parked, we realized, we were no longer in Kansas... Despite its rough exterior, we decided to trek on for dinner. We noticed outside, the signage promised a free drink with any meal, so we asked what options were available. The cashier replied, "Uhhh, free." Despite this odd exchange, we were steadfast on our dinner plans. We ordered the Turkey Leg stuffed with Etouffee and a cup of gumbo. Unfortunately, despite the positive efforts made, the turkey leg was disappointing and had an odd, formaldehyde-like smell. The flavor was off, and while the étouffée wasn't terrible, it was overwhelmingly salty--especially the gumbo. At all cost, avoid this place. read more

Tonight my son wanted the Turkey legs . They were open. Perfect. The manager/owner was good. Nice and inviting . . The kitchen area needed some work but they were about to close when we arrived. I ordered 1 stuffed shrimp, gumbo and 6 wings. I'm ready, I'm ready I'm ready. The wings are good and the sauce that they got on them is buffalo sauce,perfect for the taste it came out hot a little bit too hot to even hold on to and you are going to love that. The season in the fries was Cajun. The seasoning is really good I would probably put a little bit more seasoning on them but they are very good and hot. It's a lot of FOOD. ALL OF IT.. Unfortunately for $31 you only get a few pieces of imitation crab meat, 7 pieces of shrimp, and a whole lot of pasta. It should not be advertised as succulent grilled lobster, it is obviously imitation crab meat. It is a big generous portion. Also they ran out of utensils so I had to go to Dominos next door to ask for one (5 stars to Dominos lol). You can stay and eat in the restaurant but I took mine and ate in the car. It is clean ish but with flies around. I wouldn't return here. read more

This place had really good customer service. Mrs. Pookie was very sweet and helpful like an Auntie that will make your plate when you visit. It was about 8 silver 4 seat tables and 3 outside in front of the store. The place was small and clean. My husband ordered the mac-n-cheese surf and turf turkey leg that came with Crab and crawfish. His turkey leg was hot, but they put bowtie noodles with cheese sauce that was kinda cool and a small portion of crab and crawfish. It cost $24.00 but we were expecting southern gooey mac-n-cheese with hot meat mixed in which wasn't the case. He said it was okay, but wasn't excited. My husband gave his food a 3 out of 5 rating. My son got the 1/2 dozen shrimp and fries for $13.00. These shrimp were really big and fried perfectly, but had NO seasoning unfortunately. My son gave the shrimp a 1 rating and the fries a 5. I ordered the Ettouffe stuffed turkey leg. The rice and crawfish was hot on top of my well seasoned turkey leg. It had a hint of spice, probably Cayenne pepper. My food was $22.00 and it was good. I was given a military discount with my military ID card. One of the people who worked there was retired army as well (Thank you for your service). All in all I would say come show support to this establishment. It's not cheap.... if you get turkey legs, but the customer service I got today was A+ quality. Wife and I stopped here after getting a recommendation from soem friends. I ordered the etouffee stuffed turkey leg along with some beans and rice. The turkey leg was enormous with plenty of etouffee and shrimps. The turkey was really tender and just pulled apart, and the etoufee was very good with a nice little kick. The meal was not cheap, but it was worth the price. I'm looking forward to trying their gumbo on the next visit. read more

***HIGHLY RECOMMEND*** I wish this place all the success in the world. Appears to be family operated which was great to see. The younger staff was well mannered and have been taught a thing or two about customer service, so I appreciated that! I ordered 6 turkey legs so I expected a bit of a wait but one hour I never received an update on my order during that time, I also ordered a fried dish along with the turkey legs that was sitting the whole time I was waiting.
