We stumbled across this place, leaving another restaurant because of the bad service and we were not disappointed at all with this place. The drinks are pretty well priced and really good. The ambience was so fun and the music was fire.

    Vibes

Absolute iconic dive bar, the girls who get it get it, good music, sometimes asshole bartenders but when they are nice it's SO nice. Vinny and kev, and Troy are the best. Best dive in pb by far!!

Occy playing for his bday today:)

Known for being a Seattle Seahawks football bar. A cute little dive bar with a live deejay booth, a big dance floor, lots of seating, normally no cover charge and a big backyard for when it's open. Service is not pretentious as the drinks are served in plastic pint glasses. Last time we went, Occy was spinning for his bday and we danced to his music. Ordered a 7/7, with no Seagrams 7, they used Jamison whiskey instead, it went down so smooth and delicious!

Yep thats definitely a penis lol

From what I recall went on a semi busy night, went with some coworkers to wash down some of our dinner prior and shoot the shit upon entering the sign in the bar in neon simply states F YELP lol.... In my head I immediately said imma like this place alright, the bartenders are inviting and fast, so many choices, gonna have to come back and have them make me some mixed drinks instead of drinks from tap but based on their choices which are more 10 easy definitely gonna have to come back good place to chill on a semi busy evening not crazy loud, you can actually carry a conversation with person in front of you drinks **** several options on tap, gonna need to come back for mixed or well drink price $$ service ***** helpful, fast ambiance **** neon lighting, semi dark

    My opinion

Came in here Friday night, pretty dense with bodies. They have a sign saying "FUCK YELP". That's crazy! In my honest opinion, I disagree, Yelp is pretty dope, and so is this place. Good drinks, quick service, hella skee ball, 16/10! Rocking my I Beaver shirt rn, everyone loves it! Give it up for Thrusters lounge for being thrust positive.

This used to be a decent Seahawks bar, but not anymore. They are not even open in Sundays until 3PM!

They pay attention to details which is why you feel like you're in a Hawaiian cave somewhere or in the Hawaii episode of the Brady Bunch . We tried a number of their signature recipes. I started off with "Boozin Susan's World Famous Chi Chi". It's a frozen vodka cocktail that tastes like vacation. The vodka is complemented with pineapple, coconut, lime, Demerara syrup and cinnamon. It was a perfect recipe when you think about tiki. (Pic 2) We also tried "Hella Missionary" which is another frozen cocktail with tequila, mezcal, adobo-spiced honey, pineapple, lime and mint. It's the blended mint that makes it green. It was quite tasty with a very fun crazy straw. (Pic 4). We had some bonus fun with a signature shot called "OJ Did It". It was a delicious add to the vibe with vodka, liquor 43, coconut and orange juice. (Pic 7). I couldn't remember what pic 6 is but it was tasty. Maybe it's "OOO-BAE I Love You So". It starts with rhum agricole, salted cream, pineapple, cinnamon, macadamia nut and toasted coconut flakes. I could be totally wrong so oh well. The Grass Skirt is always a great idea if you're in the PB area when in San Diego. Go check them out. Salute @thejohnnycocktail

As I understand it, Moray's is the outside/patio dining portion, while Oceana is the indoor fine-dining situation. I believe they pretty much have very similar menus, with Oceana having some additional high-end offerings. Came out to Moray's to visit my cousin who was in town for work. Since my cousin now has her most adorable infant, she wanted to keep it simple and dine at the hotel restaurant, which was fine by me. While I waited for them to come down from their room, I got us a patio table and ordered a delicious $10 draft. Mixed drinks were all hovering around $19 each. The server was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which I greatly appreciated. I went with the reasonably priced Steak Frites, $36, which was to stated to come with Muenster cheese and caramelized onions on top, and served with a side chimichurri. While the steak was wonderfully cooked to a solid med. rare as requested, it seemingly had very little flavor. Perhaps had it not been covered with a wealth of some DEEPLY caramelized onions and an abundance of Muenster cheese, I might have been able to taste the seasonings and/or the beef. While I love some deeply caramelized onions on a salt-laden burger, the extent to which these were caramelized left them seeming soggy and too sweet for the steak pairing. Add in the several slices of melted Muenster cheese on top, and flavourwise I could hardly tell I was eating a steak. Ultimately, the abundance of toppings overwhelmed the steak. The accompanying chimichurri was also a little strange. While I appreciate that it was diced and not blended, it was very heavy on the oil, while very light on the herbs. The frites were nicely salted and good on their own, however a decent amount became soggy from being under the steak. The burger on the other hand looked excellent. My cousin devoured his in what seemed like a split second. I could have went for the burger, however at $27 I perceived the $36 steak frites to be of a better value. Again, shout out to our server. They were on-point! Thanks Moray's!

But I've definitely had worse Mai Tais served in plastic cups (true story). We only came here because the opening hours for the actual restaurant on property were not correct on the website or the info in the room, so we needed to kill some time before we could get a proper drink. Available alcohol at this "resort" is something you don't turn down. And if you're stuck here for some reason (work thing, misled by the name "Hyatt Resort"), you can stop in for a quick drink before you try out the restaurant/bar or decide you'd do better to get yourself elsewhere for good food and an actual Happy Hour that is, in fact, happy. Note that there is a waterslide nearby. That should give you all the visuals you need about how many kids are nearby. This is desperation drinking. And if you're in need, this will scratch the itch. They also deliver to your seat if you put up a flag. It's not "Stay Classy San Diego"... but it'll get you to a happier place.

Server brought it quickly. Food: Caesar salad w/grilled chicken. It was standard except they added some crispy prosciutto, but the chicken didn't seem cooked all the way. Son ordered the St Louis Ribs and said he didn't like them at all. Husband arrived and ordered a Moscow Mule. Upon check-in at hotel we got a coupon for free chips & salsa. We ordered them, and chips were good, but salsa was thick like a spaghetti sauce; weird. Why 3 stars? Service was very good. Our server was fast and when she noticed that husband had been sitting too long without his drink she removed the charge from the tab. Awesome. Plus, they gave me generous pours of my wine. They need to work on their menu to improve. FYI, they are the only bar at hotel open late. We returned around 11:30pm. They have a ping pong table & Foosball table outside with seating. Hubby and I had an intense Foosball game (I won!) and several Moscow Mules (tried their cucumber one, meh) and their regular one seemed a tad too sweet for me. But at night, great atmosphere to sit outside (they closed around 12:30).
