I like the atmosphere inside, but the food seemed average to me and more Americanized than I'd prefer. Decent little Thai place nestled into a good location in belltown. Food was decent, and a few Thai themed drinks on the menu. Definitely does not have the look or feel of a Thai restaurant but has a pleasant atmosphere. Something I really enjoyed having here was the Tom Ka. It's a hard dish to mess up, and it was actually really good. The entrees we had however I felt fell a little flat overall. We tried the garlic chicken, and the honey sesame beef. The beef was a little over seasonsed, way too salty, and the chunks were small that most pieces ended up being mostly breading. The garlic chicken we felt was the same, just too "punch you in the mouth" with 1 flavor and not trying to balance out. They have a decent happy hour though from the looks of it, and a small selection of Thai dishes. This was an amazing restaurant! The employees are super friendly! The food was also very delicious! And the atmosphere was very modern. The pad see lew was definitely my favorite dish of the ones I ordered. The lady working as hostess and waitress was very cheerful and talkative with my table (in a good way). Amazing Thai food. Great flavors and the right amount of spice. We ordered orange chicken and red prawn curry from the lunch menu on a Friday afternoon. Both the dishes were so tasty and generous portions. The orange chicken was crispy and the prawns were fresh. Great, Awesome and well flavored food. Came here with an Amazon Local deal while on vacation and we will definitely be coming back on our next visit and recommending it to others to try. Food is reasonably priced for what you get and the restaurant is walking distance from the Seattle Center and Space Needle, maybe about 7-8 minutes away. Had the pork and shrimp spring rolls, traditional pad thai (they have a house version made without fish sauce if your prefer), yellow curry and orange chicken. All so good. There were only 2 of us and we finished it all. Mostly served family style but you could definitely have them as individual plates, again tour own preference here. Everything tasted great. You can get everything in varying levels of spiciness, I'm not a fan of spicy but got it at a 1 of 3 and it was pretty well done with just enough of a kick. The curry starts at a 1.5 spicy level and that was a bit much for me but perfect for the boyfriend. The orange chicken wasn't overly breaded or sweet like you typically see in Asian restaurants and had some spice as well. We went here for dinner this evening. They blew us away with the food quality. So tasty. They were able to do everything we wanted vegetarian -- which was a really refreshing change. Not only did they do it vegetarian, but they did it really well. We had the orange chicken (done with tofu), the green curry (done with tofu), and the Pad Kee Mao (again with tofu). All were exceptional. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the timing of the food was good, the iced coffee and the homemade ginger beer were excellent, and overall I couldn't have hoped for a better restaurant experience, especially at this price point. I walk by this place almost every day and have been wanting to try it because of the atmosphere/decor. I had two cocktails - a Thai Basil Martini and a Spicy Dark and Stormy. Both were delicious and very fresh tasting - so much ginger in the dark and stormy! Corn fritters to start were good. Really enjoyed the sesame honey beef with broccoli. I hadn't had fried food in a while, and I thought the batter was great and didn't make me feel grease-heavy afterwards. We also had the Massamun curry on a recommendation from the server. It was a nice combination of a sweetness and spicy sauce. I've seen others that had issues with service on the prior reviews, and there does seem to be a low-key vibe to the place. Amazing...that's all I can say! Ti22 was recently purchased and is under the management of Cat Maneri. This is a Thai restaurant with delicious Thai dishes with a bit of a modern twist. The two chefs are Thai, and have many years of food prep experience, as does the manager. the Pepper and Ginger wings were incredibly tasty, crisp outside, and moist inside with a spicy dipping sauce and a bit of slaw on the side. We shared meals of black pepper shrimp and Crab fried rice. Cat made us a couple cucumber, cilantro vodka martinis that were out of this world. (We topped it off with a couple glasses of their homemade ginger beer (non-alcoholic) A nice small place with some history and an outside dining area made the experience just right. Definitely recommend Ti22 for lunch or dinner. Great management, great food. Will be going back often! read more

I love fish cakes so I had to check this spot out. It was a quiet Monday night in Belltown when I arrived. The inside of this spot is nice but casual. My friend and I ordered the sampler plate with everything. Standouts were: -Catfish cake- unique but very garlicky if that's a problem for you -Trout cake- also unique -Taro cake- surprisingly delicious! -Tom yum- good but nothing original Size wise, this would make a good appetizer for 3 or 4. We probably should have ordered another entree because half a sampler plate wasn't really enough. The service here was good and overall, I think it's a nice addition to Belltown. We have a LOT of Thai food out here, but most is just mediocre to ok in taste, quality, and service. And while the burbs still serve up some of the best Thai i've ever had... Considering the name -- we decided fish cakes were a MUST plus a litmus test of Phad See Ew noodles. They had a busy night the evening before, so only 3 fishcake options were available. We ordered the trout and happily waited -- and we got served the Indian Curry Salmon instead. They realized their mistake the moment it got to our table -- so they apologized and told us it would be free. No big deal, and HOLY COW. Delicious. No fish cake full of mayonnaise for filler here -- lots of fish, spice, and veggies that come together in lovely, super crisp cakes that are phenomenal in their pseudo plum sauce. I'm not joking -- these were ridiculously good and I want to try every one on the menu now. Our phad see ew was amazing as well. Fat noodles, covered in just the right amount of sauce with perfectly cooked broccoli and lots of yummy eggy bits. We cleared both our plates with no problems at all. I went with my sister and her bf before a Sounders game and her bf is vegetarian which is great because thai food can be very vegetarian friendly... but, sadly it was slightly disappointing. We got the pad see ew with fried tofu, pork ribs appetizer, and pineapple fried rice. The pineapple fried rice was the best out of the stuff we ordered. the pad see ew had a weird taste to it, I couldn't quite put my finger on it but my sister didn't wanna eat it. The atmosphere, food, and service was great here! First time here and absolutely love this place. We're visiting from California and this place tops all of the Thai places we've dined at over there. The Lobster Pad Thai, Beef Panang Curry, Creme Brûlée (with mango topping & sweet black rice on the bottom were all to die for! Also told the server no peanut bc is have a peanut allergy and they totally accommodated us. All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty with generous portions. We brought my kids (toddler and 1st grader) and they had special plates/silverware for the kids which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was ok, but I am disappointed that they got my order wrong and wouldn't correct it or give me a credit/refund. I ordered Cashew Nut Chicken with Tofu. Any time I order this dish at any other Thai restaurant, I always order it with Tofu and I receive it with Tofu, not chicken. This place gave me chicken and tofu and would not give me a refund. Clearly NOT allergy friendly since the manager so unkindly informed me almost belligerently that if his "very authentic staff" could not understand his direction for any minor allergies that it's not his fault and he is absolutely not at all liable. I may have allergies but I am aware of such things and am not one to be mean when others need extra explaining or mess up, but this was so discomforting I left. It was not only worry some by scary to think that he essentially chased me away because he didn't want to work with me. I know Thai is typically safe for my allergies and the dish I ordered has never been a problem but he essentially refused to serve me. Ordered house pad thai which was sweet and tasted a bit rancid. The gf ordered noodle soup which was bland and she tried ordering pork ribs to make up for the soup that she didn't eat and it wasn't tender. It was too sweet. The service was so slow. We sat at the bar. I was so tired of waiting and just tired in general that I have 60 on a 43 bill and told him to keep the change. Did I hear from gf about that. Anyway. I would really like to say I've had great experiences here. But I haven't. The service is slow and lacking and the food is touch and go depending on the day. I've had great food one day and bad food another but the service is consistently bad. This last time in there I felt it was too much to let go. I kept hoping out of my three times there that there would be the redeeming time. There wasn't one, I won't be back. This time I was in a hurry and I probably should have called ahead but I knew what I wanted and just ran in. The man there asked me if I was picking up a to go order I said I wanted to place one. I waited for 12 minutes before 1) being offered a menu (although I knew what I wanted 2) my order being taken. During these 12 minutes he instead, tended to the 1/2 full restaurant filling waters, clearing tables (like I said before the restaurant barely was full), then came and offered me a menu. When I told him that I wanted the chicken noodle soup he asked if I wanted chicken in that ???? So then I waited ANOTHER 15 minutes FOR SOUP. He then waited to have me pay too until another table had come to pay and then made that man wait to pay and had me pay first....and then decided to have a conversation with me while that gentleman was waiting. I thought that was very very odd; not only is this other person waiting, but I've been standing here for 25 minutes, never offered water while I wait, never apologized for the wait time. However, I did hear the apology go out to numerous patrons for wait times while I waited so apparently it was an issue and a common one since I've had the issue before. It's just frustrating when I could have gone and sat somewhere and had a hot meal served to me and eaten it in the amount of time it took them to serve me soup to go. It was discouraging. read more

I am giving this 2 stars based on my experience only, I just ordered takeout from here, everyone seemed very friendly and reasonable prices. Apparently I should have read some reviews because I got their green curry(which other reviews also had poor remarks about). It was quite possibly the worst curry I have ever had... So dang salty it ruined the entire dish. Also quite spicy for asking for the medium spice, however some people definitely like it that way. I didn't finish it ended up throwing it out. My wife had the Panang curry which is generally my favorite curry, from a couple bites I had of hers it was fine hard to tell though with my current burning salty mouth. I might go back to try something else at which time I will update my review, whatever you do though... Don't get the green curry!!! read more
