Had take out from them. The food was prepped and delivered quickly. This is the place I get take out when I crave spicy Sichuan dishes. The dry pot comes with decent portion to last for a few meals. The spices are fragrant, and the flavor is authentic. It goes well with the shrimp fried rice. The caveat is that the dish could be addicting, and the spicy oily combo may not be friendly to your gut if you eat a lot of it ;)

Overall it was really good, we went for dinner and we were instantly seated. You order through a menu but a person comes and confirms your order and the food is served pretty fast. Everything was really tasty! Would go back and try more dishes!

If you love spicy Szechuan, this is the place for you. The dishes were drenched w chili and oil. Although tasty, they were too soupy for me. Service was great, you order thru a QR code. The boba drink was delish. Tea costs extra, which for a New Yorker, I found odd.

Surprisingly delicious! So many large parties and families gathered here for hearty CNY meal and for a good reason. I can't tolerate much spice but was still able to enjoy most of the dishes. The full shrimp is an absolute must but it is very spicy! Drinks and desserts are just ok. Their ordering system is A+. You can do everything on mobile, including asking for extra dishware, and they deliver it to you within seconds.

No rice on the menu to order, to rice included. Had to cook rice at home.

The absolute worst! Huge chunks of garlic in the fungus salad -- not diced pieces, but thick slices. The beef and broccoli were just plain gross! Slimy, chewy and bits of bone. The hot and sour soup was congealed salt! All this for $65+ and no rice. Rice isn't even in the take out menu to order!

Maybe my expectations were just a bit higher after reading all the good reviews, but this place was NOT good. Ended up packing 75% of the food up so I could rework it into something more palatable.

A go to spot for authentic Chinese food! Highly recommend every soup on their menu (especially the pig trotter soup). Every dish on their menu that I've tried in my numerous trips here has been amazing (recommend salted egg yolk green beans and the house cured pork!) Their desserts also never miss (recommend the osmanthus blossom raindrop jelly!). Their service is always very friendly and service is very efficient with QR code ordering and the servers confirming your order. They also have a very spacious restaurant with very cool chairs.

Decent Chinese restaurant with spacious sitting area. Staffs were helpful, food was served pretty fast for lunch time. We ordered Spicy beef noodles and braised pork with rice. I prefer the rice more though. Noodle portion was shareable just slightly salty. Maybe I'll try something else beside noodle next time.

Overall a yummy place to go if you're craving Szechuan food! Most of the dishes we ordered had a slight kick to it but it was a pleasant kind of spice. It lingered in the mouth and had me reaching for the water but didn't churn my stomach like certain spicy foods. We ordered the pork belly hot & spicy dry pot, cumin lamb stir fry, string beans, fried rice, fish with tofu in peppercorn broth among other things. Personally I wasn't a fan of the dry pot. It was a little dry, as maybe the name implied, and a bit salty. It wasn't bad but I preferred the cumin lamb to it which was flavorful and tender. The fried rice was not too salty and was good to balance out the strong flavors of the entrees we ordered. I really enjoyed the fish in broth. The fish was flaky and soft and the broth was rich. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and there weren't too many people in the restaurant. It was relatively quiet and the service was good.

Horrendous service. Food served without rice. Water not refilled (especially at a restaurant where 80% of the dishes are spicy). The waitress never looks around to see if you need something.

We go here regularly and enjoy delicious spicy dish's from China. It's very authentic and fresh

Best Sichuan food in Seattle area. My parents (immigrants from China) said it's the most authentic Sichuanese food they've had in the US so that's how you know it's good! I haven't had a dish here that isn't great. Even their tomato and braised beef dish is amazing even though it's not spicy! I'll also say that the Northgate location is better than the Bellevue one.

It is somewhat difficult to get a reservation, because the space here is very small and packed with tables. The one downside is that it is a little tight and can be difficult to hear. But I'll take that for the opportunity to eat here. And as long as you go in with the mindset that you might drop some serious coin on the meal, you're gonna have a phenomenal time. Because we were so close to our dining neighbors, I was actually able to ask them what they were eating since it looked so good. And that's how we ended up with some mind blowing fritters. A perfect appetizer to start the night. They have a great selection of wines that are actually reasonably priced to buy by the bottle. I'm pretty sure I saw someone taking one home that they drank a few bottles out of also, which is a first. I was impressed by the creativity of the dishes as well. I'm not one to be impressed by cabbage, or ever order it, but the charred cabbage looked enticing. The cheese on the bottom, seasoning, and dates transformed this ordinary vegetable into a star. And of course you gotta see what they're doing with the seasonal veggies. I can't seem to ever cook squash the right way, but they crafted it into the ideal consistency where it was almost meaty. That New York Strip was out of this world though... the garlic sauce that accompanied it was just enough of a flavor enhancer that it didn't take away from a steak that was cooked to the ideal temp. I'll be back for more!!

One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."

The place has small local shop feel and I like it the way it is. Not a flashy place but a good spot to try on your day off feeling lazy or too tired from studying.
