We weren't sure if it was because we got chicken instead of shrimp, but in any case, we had to douse our food with duck sauce, soy sauce and whatever other sauce there was to stomach it. First and foremost, I would be aware of the spice levels (they do warn you while ordering on GrubHub too, I just didn't heed awareness ). I can handle mild spice pretty well. I'm the type that likes just a hint of spice to elevate the dish a bit more. I got a level 2 spicy, and for me, I should've gone down to level 1. My husband can handle more spice than me, he got a level 3, and said he would go down to a level 2 next time. Perhaps my spice tolerance wasn't as high as I thought, but it was a good amount spicier than I thought the level usually would be. However, even though it was a bit too spicy for me, the flavor of the food shined through. We both got pad se ew, and it was delicious. We also got the veggie spring rolls and the pinwheels. I had their Cajun-Bacon Fried Rice bowl. I added tofu as my protein. The dish comes with egg, bacon, bell pepper, black beans, carrots, celery, corn, green & yellow onions and Louisiana hot sauce (I ordered without onions & celery). They also come in spice level, you select 1-10 (one of the employees recommended Level 3 is spicy enough). Also, you can get different sizes of your dish: 5, 8 or 12oz, I got the 8oz. The bowl at 8oz is more than enough. They were not stingy with the tofu while they didn't give as much bacon. The spice level of the bowl took away the flavors the components of the bowl. I didn't get to enjoy it as much, I could go a different route next time with selections such as Japorean Ramen, Tiger Noodle Soup & Lad Na. Thanks to lots of taste bud punishment with Capsaicin. I read some reviews here that said 3-4 is plenty spicy but I was already tempted. The staff member taking our order online did his due diligence and asked if I was sure about my order. And I affirmed. I was able to taste the ingredients and I liked the hibachi ginger mini cup of sauce I added after a few bites. It did not lower the heat as the more I ate, the more heat built up in my mouth. But I read in other reviews that 3 is recommend if you like heat but not overwhelming. (The second spice eater in the group got 3 for Pad Thai and said A: 3 wasn't very spicy and B: mine was spicy but enticing. Would definitely try a fried rice or pad Thai dish with Spice Level 10!
