After been to the Chinatown and Los Angeles location, this Midtown location of probably the best in terms of efficiency. There is a device for you to order at in the left side upon entering. My order arrived fairly quickly and my thirst for Tiger Sugar was immediately satisfied. For those who have never been here, this place is A MUST. Yes, it's kind of pricey. But the taste, the chewiness of the boba, and the overall drink is WORTH it. I suggest the classic drink with no adjustments. I'm very stoked that Tiger Sugar opened up another location in KTown! This was actually my first time trying Tiger Sugar and they definitely met my expectations! I came on their grand opening day. They are located under the corner building on 32nd and Broadway so it's easy to miss and the store is pretty small. I think the service is really stop-and-go since there is barely any seating, however there's a ledge so you can stand and enjoy. They had a self-ordering kiosk which is pretty neat so if you prefer not to speak to anyone, you can. It also streamlines the ordering process since there's only one register. They had three new drinks flavors at the KTown location which I thought was really cool and fun. I decided to try the Matcha Black Sugar Boba Milk ($6.75) since I love matcha. When I was handed the drink, it was warm from the freshly made boba. (Make sure to shake your drink 15 times if you get the brown sugar series) So, I'm not the biggest fan of brown sugar milk because I know they can be overly sweet and I was expecting that from this drink, but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't super sweet. All the flavors mixed well together and the boba was soft and delicious! This place is pretty solid and it's great to see them in Ktown. I have been to the other locations countless times, so this review is more for the service. My friend and I visited on a freezing Saturday night, and it was super busy with people lining up outside. There is a kiosk that sped up the process a bit. Only three guys were working at the front, so I understand if the drinks take a long time to prepare. However, my only issue was that it seemed like they had two friends hanging out in front of the pickup section. They were recording and taking pictures. That is fine with me, but it seemed like they were distracting them from making drinks. They were also blocking customers from picking up drinks and straws. Georgia finally openned its first Tiger Sugar location last year. My girlfriend and I could not have been more excited. We are already big boba fans, so this new and famous shop was a great add to the line up. We ordered the signature #1 drink which is: Brown Sugar Boba Milk + Pearl with Cream Mousse and also ordered the #4 which is: Brown Sugar Boba Milk + Pearl with Espresso + Cream Mousse. Both drinks were super yummy and sweet. The boba is so soft and chewy and has its own sweet flavor. A good texture for chewing and tasty flavor. The boba is so flavorful and love that it adds to the signature drinks that it is part of. The cream mousse that tops your drink is also yummy if you isolate it, but we usually mix it. I thought it was interesting that there are two different sizes of boba--one mini and one regular. Some might find it odd, but I enjoyed the different sizing when drinking. Didn't always know what to expect. The space has some comfy chairs and small tables to sit and drink your boba with a small (or large) group of friends. Most evenings there is a decent line here, especially on weekends. The servers are going as quick as they can and super kind. I love that they always remind you to shake your drink at least 14 times before taking a drink to ensure that the drink is how it should taste. Parking here is a bit tight. It only loses points with me because the drink was half ice, and the paper straw breaks down faster than you can finish the drink. Would be nice to be able to select the ice and sweetness level. My problems with the other Tiger Sugar location in Chinatown was mostly that it was so popular that it took a while to get a boba. Ordered my drink on the app in advance. They gave me estimate time. So I walk around and went when it was passed the time frame. They accepted nonstop orders from app and in person so more than 20 people were waiting for their drinks. I waited over 40 minutes when it was done way before that. The girl who was at the register had a mask on (no problem) and a cap on with the brim tilted down as well as an AirPod in, which made us feel extremely unwelcome to start. I was a little hesitant about getting boba without tea because I always get a classic milk tea whenever visiting a new boba shop, but I'm super happy I gave this place a chance! I got the iced Brown Sugar Boba Milk & Cream Mousse and it was incredible. If you enjoy milk, sweet drinks, tapioca, or any combination of the three, I guarantee you'll like Tiger Sugar. The store is a little difficult to find and I believe this is the only reason there isn't a constant line out the front door because it is that good. The interior is quite small so don't plan on lingering. Fortunately there's outdoor seating on Broadway for warmer days.
