4.5 for a quick and yummy meal. Did the curbside service via the app which makes it super simple. Pretty much our same order as last time and so good. Basic tacos, good flavor, great price with the Taco Tuesday deal. Not in the deal (wish they were), the fish tacos. Flavorful, great toppings. My favorite again, this shrimp bowl. Rice, quac, corn, pickled onions, black beans, shrimp (flavorful, medium size). So filling and a great price at under $12. Definitely a great alternative to fast food at a similar price for a family of 5.

Had a great experience on this visit. Used curb side pick up for the first time and it was easy and hassle free. I waited less than five minutes for my chicken soft taco, beef hard shell taco and guacamole. Both tacos were fresh and delicious. The guacamole is one of my all time favorites loaded with tomato and onion! I absolutely recommend this Tijuana Flats location and plan to visit again soon!

Tijuana Flats in Jacksonville was awesome! While we came in within an hour of closing on a Monday night and most of the place was being cleaned, the staff did not view this as an issue, and gladly took our orders and promptly served us which was great! The vibes are always cool in Tijuana Flats and the variety of dishes is great as well. Definitely recommend hitting up this location!

It took my years to make a visit to Tijuana Flats and now I wish I had come sooner. I have tried a lot of different items here since my first visit, but there is a lot of great aspects. I like this location as there is a lot of parking, it is generally clean, and there is outdoor seating. That was nice during the worst of Covid. The staff is very nice and they had a sweet Cinco de Mayo celebration with a ton of deals leading up. I love their burritos which are just as good if not better than Chipotle. They are also competitively priced, which I don't think is always the case with burritos in similar places. The chips are good, but what makes them great are the sauces. There are a lot of sauces to choose from. TF also serves beer in bottles or draft and you can get a sangria or margarita. I have had their sangria, which was okay, but the margarita was way better. The enchiladas here are really great and so are the tacos. Another awesome aspect of TF is the atmosphere is fun and I love the decorations. This is a must try for all American Mexican food lovers.

Consistently excellent service. Food came quickly, staff constantly checked on us for refills and togo containers. A great experience.

So disappointed.... maybe I was comparing locations? This T.F's is on Beach Blvd, in a corner unit of a strip mall. Parking is shared with several other businesses, so it's a crap shoot from the beginning. They do have reserved parking for pick up orders(Kudos)! Upon entering there's a cute little sign of "how to order." So we grabbed a menu and stood in line. We were patient with the new guy who took 18 minutes to get the order correct and our drinks. The crispy fish bowl that I had decided on, was "unavailable ".... After ordering a burrito (how can you mess that up, right?) we slid into a booth. So there's lots of tables and a few booths. Great for crowds or large families. My burrito was a great let down:(. I swear it contained an entire can of refried beans and maybe a tablespoon of rice, and lettuce. It had lots of tomatoes and was huge. My first bite was a mouthful of beans and flour tortilla. No flavor, no love. I barely ate half and I was done. Great if you only need fuel, disappointment if you want to enjoy flavor. I don't recommend this location.

We used to frequent Tijuana Flats on the Southside when we lived over there and it was well past time for us to try this location. Just West of Hodges on Beach Blvd- we were in thanks to Yelp Elite- I had scored access to an event to try their new street corn line and I took John and my kid and just bought an extra meal. We tried the Steak Street Corn Quesadillas, the Chicken Street Corn Quesadillas and an order of the beef nachos. Everyone swapped bites and each of us were very impressed. Service was fast and easy! I let the cashier know I was with Yelp and gave my coupon code at the end. Food was out fast and hot! I am certain we will be back again soon!

Service was super fast tonight which is a plus, plus for me when I'm starving plus the staff was very friendly. I ordered the sweet corn quesadilla and my boyfriend the sweet corn tacos. Honestly glad I tried both of these tonight because it was so good I will continue to order this for as long as they are on the menu. I hadn't been to Tijuana Flats in a while because they had changed the seasoning on the chicken and it wasn't as good as it used to be until now. I could have done without the chili dust on mine but it wasn't overbearing. The fresh corn was so good and different plus all the other spices were all so delicious together. Only thing that was an inconvenience is that due to this location being short staffed they have changed their hours from 2pm to 9pm. No lunch hours at the moment. So if you are looking for a job they are hiring.

The Street Corn Takeover was a success. I ordered a steak street corn bowl and got a side of the street corn. I loved how the bowl came with guacamole and it did not cost extra. The bowl was delicious and the corn tasted fresh. I did not like my side or the street corn. It was served on the cob. I feel like it had to much Mayo on it. I would have preferred it to be off the cob and mixed together. I ordered my food online and picked it up as a to go order. As soon as I got to Tijuana Flats my order was ready. I went the day before and there was a sign on the door saying they were opening at 2pm due to issues. Tijuana flats was very nice and sent me a coupon for another free meal due to the inconvenience. Overall the food tasted great and I had a great experience.

The food was tasty, but the service was lacking. At least based on what we are is to when visiting this location. We were greeted as we walked in and was able to place an order without any issues. We went after the lunch rush so there were only a few people there and it was not busy at all. Once we were served our food we noticed several things wrong. Missing items and sides We got one of the employees attention and he acknowledge is and dropped what he had at a table, as expected, but then never came to us. I got up and walked to the kitchen entrance, as no one was behind the counter, and waited until someone noticed me. I was able to let them know what we were missing and they brought it right away. After that they never checked on us again. I had to go to the counter to get them. They also were slow to clean tables. Spawn #2 got a chicken burrito - she said it was good, but she had had better. Hubby and I both had blackened salads. We request fajita veggies to be added. They left then off. They forgot our dressing and side of queso. Once we had everything it was very good!

I'm almost embarrassed to admit but I have never been to Tijuana Flats. I called my order in ahead of time and the nicest gentleman took my order on the phone and provided me with a gluten-free option for my steak tacos. They were ready for pick up within five minutes and I started eating my food in the car because I could not wait. I was so pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty and well-made these were. They were absolutely filling that I only ate one and saved the other one for dinner. I snacked on the chips and salsa and it was delightful!! All the ingredients were fresh and very well prepared. I can't wait to go back! And I genuinely thank the gentleman who made my tacos and was so very friendly on the phone, because customer service means so much to me!!!

    Queso Crunch Burrito

Gosh I can't remember the last time I had Tijuana Flats; it's been a long time! So when this event popped up, I jumped at the chance for free chips and queso. I know the main event was the burrito but hey I'm a chips and queso kind of girl. Also, who am I to turn down a free burrito?? I placed my order online for the Beach and Hodges location. My Queso Crunch Burrito was ready literally as soon as I walked in the door. I hauled my wares back home and proceeded to dig in. I got the blackened chicken for my protein option. It didn't taste distinctly blackened but it was grilled and it was good. I do wish the garlic lime sauce stood out more because I didn't catch its flavor at all. The tortilla strips were a nice addition. Anyone who has ever added chips or Doritos to their sandwiches as a kid (or, ahem, as an adult) can appreciate the satisfying crunch the tortilla strips bring to the burrito. In fact, almost every burrito can lend itself to some type of crunchy element. I managed to eat half of my hefty burrito before I was full. It was easily at least two meals for me. I'd love to try a bowl version with the tortilla strips topping off the other ingredients. This was a great option for a YES Event and I recommend Tijuana Flats keep the Queso Crunch Burrito on board for awhile for anyone who is a chips-on-a-sandwich kind of person.

Holy Burrito Batman! Check out the size of this thing! This gargantuan Queso Crunch Burrito was enough for 2 meals. You choose steak, blackened chicken, or shredded chicken with yellow queso, tortilla strips, chili lime sauce, rice, beans and salsa (fresh or spicy). All that plus chips for $7.99! There were a lot of flavors wrapped up in that tortilla but they all went well together. Only downside is that it's only here for a limited time. Guess that means I'll be back very very soon.

Service at the bar was great. Food arrived faster than expected, but I had also got there as their night was winding down. My friends and I were originally going to eat here for Cinco de Mayo, but when I got there at 6:45, I was told it would be a 3.5 hour wait. They had a DJ outside pumping out fast and upbeat music for the party and an outside margarita stand for grab and go drinks. When I arrived back just after 9, I had told them to take us off the list. She informed me that they tried calling me. Nothing came through on my phone, but she did show her call log and sure enough, it showed they called me around 8:20. My friends and I probably would have stayed to eat here originally had we been given a more realistic wait time guesstimate. An hour and a half wait vs 3.5 hours is much more feasible. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be back in the future. I've always enjoyed Anejo.

The floors were sticky and our shoes stuck to the floor. The women's restroom was out of order. The kiosks seem like a good idea but nobody there to ask questions or to get your drinks. If you can catch one of the two people working as they bring out orders you are lucky. The menus on the kiosks are pretty informative though and tell the ingredients for each item. Kiosk automatically adds 20% tip unless you change it. Considering you don't have any interaction with employees until they bring out your order other tipping options might apply. They cook to order which is nice except you don't get your drinks or your appetizers until it's your turn. There is a comment section to type no tomatoes or special instructions. Mine still came out with tomatoes but they promptly remade it for me. The food is pretty good. No complaints there other than having to remake one of my tacos. The chips and queso was pretty good. Chips were dusted with spices and served hot. We tried 6 different tacos and they were all very good. The tortillas were toasted on the grill which makes a big difference. The menu has a pretty big variety including a kids menu with chicken and fries. The last comment is their fountain machine for drinks. The coke tasted off. They may need to recalibrate it. Drinks are served in small clear throw away cups and the lids don't fit very well. Refills are hard to get. You have to wait for someone to come out of the back.
