I used to really enjoy Taco Tuesday here but noticed they've skimmed protein portions consistently. Flavor profile is still on point for the hot sauces and other menu items. The staff is usually friendly at this location.

I love seeing how each restaurant decorates their location with local funky touches. It's so fun to see. I have never had a bad experience or meal at any tijuana flats. It's always so good. The quality is always consistent. The service, for a quick service restaurant is fantastic. You order up front and your food will come out hot and fresh brought to your table. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They clean your table and offer refills on your drink. You have to try the sauce bar. So much variety. And best part is that you can even buy some of your favorite sauces. I love their flautas. Especially the ground beef ones. The portions are generous and a great deal. You get a side of tortilla chips, and all the fixins: sour cream, guac, queso, lettuce, onions, tomatoes. And they always have the good ice for your drinks. The nugget ice. The best kind! If you want something good, fresh, doesn't break the budget, and a bang for your buck, this is the place to go.

Great atmosphere, friendly professional staff, the restaurant is very clean all around. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly staff member, she told us a little bit about each carnitas dish that was part of the New Cranked Up Menu Items. We picked the Spicy Habanero Carnitas Burrito and the Chipotle BBQ Pork Tacos along with the Dueling Queso and Chips. I loved the tacos, the bbq sauce was not overpowering and you were able to taste every ingredient. My husband had the burrito and he loved the spice level and said it was really filling. The dueling queso and chips was great for us because I am more of a white queso lover and he enjoys yellow queso, perfect dish to share. The staff kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything, very attentive. Can't beat great food and great service!

This particular location of Tijuana Flats is located on Orange Avenue, South of downtown Orlando. It is located within a strip mall, so parking is not really an issue. The service here is exceptional. As my daughter and I approached the entrance, a friendly young woman opened the door and cheerily greeted us. From there, we approached the cashier, who was every bit as friendly and both these interactions started off a fantastic experience at this particular location of Tijuana Flats. Both my daughter and myself ordered something from the new shrimp menu. I went with the shrimp quesadilla and my daughter ordered the shrimp bowl. We also started by sharing their atom bomb appetizer. We also tried quite a few of the hot sauces from their "hot bar" (which have multiple hot sauces ranging from relatively mild to extremely spicy). All the food was excellent and multiple members of the staff, including the manager, kept checking on us, making sure our drinks were kept filled and making sure our experience was as positive as possible. This Tijuana Flats and its team are definitely great ambassadors of the Tijuana Flats brand and a positive reflection of the Tijuana Flats chain overall. I will give this Tijuana Flats five stars.

My husband happened to get the yelp elite reward to get two soft drinks, one appetizer, and two entrées that were shrimp themed. The appetizer we got was the atom bomb, and I got the shrimp quesadilla and my husband got the shrimp lime bowl. I got a Sprite and my husband got Dr Pepper. My husband took the food home for us to enjoy it, and unfortunately when I took a sip of my sprite it was just soda water with no Sprite flavoring. i'm sure if we were eating at the restaurant they would've replaced my drink. My husband said the root beer was fine. We both felt that the atom bomb appetizer was a bit heavy to us, it was basically a fried quesadilla with multiple types of cheeses inside. My shrimp quesadilla was decent, and I always like how many chips you get from Tijuana. The chips are always really good and I love all of their different salsa choices. I will say I wish my quesadilla had a bit more salt on it but overall it was decent. My husband really enjoyed his shrimp rice bowl but he wished it was a little larger. We will definitely be back, but I think we would try to order different things on the menu next time.

Grabbing dinner before seeing Pretty Woman the Musical. Trying the steak burrito this time. There was a little too much rice for my taste but the steak tasted good. I had the meal deal with refried beans which filled me up.

Yelp Elite deal was a good sampling opportunity! Thanks Tijuana Flat's and Yelp. My fav. Would be the roasted shrimp quesadillas. Shrimp were plump and tasty with the roasted flavors. Lot more food than the shrimp tacos. (oops didn't do a shrimp count per slice) TONS OF CHIPS when you order the chips and guacamole appetizer and a shrimp entree. The guac is pretty basic lacking garlic or cilantro, but fresh. Chips are not over salted and plenty crisp! The shrimp tacos have FIVE fried and still plump shrimp with corn and cheese and yummy pickled purple onions. A good 2nd choice.

I mean, can you go wrong with a little Tijuana Flats? The answer is no. The queso NEVER fails. Ever, I mean ever, ever. We are OBSESSED. I enjoy the quesadillas, flautas and nachos as well. As Tex-Mex, Tijuana is solid. They have the excellent sauce bar ranging from non-spicy to extremely hot. You can customize your order quite a bit. I really enjoy coming here from time to time, especially when I am craving queso. All that's needed is the ability to add some chorizo to it, and it would be perfection.

Love the decor of this location. This place makes you feel festive. Beautiful decor on inside and outside. The food was delicious. Had the carnitas tacos and burrito. It was delicious. My hostess Lacey was top notch. Helping me with my choices. You will love this place if you love Mexican food, better than fast food Mexican food. Food came within a reasonable amount of time. Planing to visit again

This was my first time at one of their locations abd it didn't disappoint, the guac was fresh, the chips were crispy and the servings were a good portion , I like that they have a outdoor seating area so we were able to bing our puppy along

The chicken nachos and chorizo queso were great starters. I ordered the Ginger margarita based on the raving reviews by my co-workers, even though it was not a special. And, it did not disappoint! Our bartender was fantastic and kept all of our orders straight. The hostess walked us upstairs to our reserved table for 10. The view across the restaurant was grand, but lively atmosphere and the high ceilings contributed to the challenge of carrying on a conversation. I could only talk with those who were seated close by. Shane was our server for the night, engaged with us, and kept the drinks flowing. We ordered a number of Deluxe fajita platters with massive amounts of steak and chicken. Both meats were grilled and seasoned perfectly. Copious amounts of tortillas and the fajita fixins. I really enjoyed the charred jalapeño and mushrooms. I ordered the chicken Al Carbón tacos, and enjoyed the complementary flavors of the smoked onions and the salsa cremosa. With both of these great tasing dishes, I wished I had a larger stomach! NOTES Outside seating is available (for nicer weather) and there's plenty of parking. The only downside of the night? The food took a long time to get to our table.

Although a little different in decor, every Chuy's has the hand painted swimming fish, the hubcap ceiling, and the shrine to Elvis which was a fixture of the original store. I had a great first Chuy's experience with my girlfriend Holly in Pembroke Pines. On a recent trip to visit my daughter in Winter Park we passed Chuy's in Lakeside Crossing and remembering how much I liked it, I suggested we dine here for dinner. In addition to the multiple dining rooms, they also have outside patio seating. We were seated in my favorite room, the dog one. If you bring in a picture of your pup you can get a free appetizer so the walls are covered with pictures of people's dogs. This room also worked out best for us because it had two TV's and we could watch the Super Bowl. We started off with their complimentary chips that come with a spicy salsa fresca and a Chuy's signature item, creamy jalapeño dressing. It started out as a dressing and it is now a dip with a following. You can even purchase it to take home with you. Two dips can never be enough so we also ordered the queso that is a beloved menu item for good reason. The menu has a number of Tex-Mex favorites like burritos, tacos, and fajitas. Chuy's is especially known for their large portions. They also make all of their own tortillas and sauces. You can customize how spicy you want your food by pepper choice and sauce. I ordered my favorite steak burrito with double rice, no beans. I replaced the spicy hatch chili sauce with the creamy deluxe tomatillo recommended by our server. It was chef's kiss. My daughter and her boyfriend said they really liked their food too and with the large portion size, ended up having leftovers to take home with them. I love the quirky decor, value, and tasty food. We were in the mood for filling meal with a casual vibe and Chuy's hit the spot.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

However, since we've had my son, we're not in the area as much so we don't come as often, but we were at icon Park today and this seemed like the perfect place to take the rest of my family. It was an absolute hit! Grandma yelled at me for holding out on her! Why haven't you brought me here before? She had the agave chipotle queso chicken enchiladas. It was our servers recommendation and they were absolutely delicious. I had the birria appetizer and it was excellent. It was an appetizer, but it was so large. We couldn't eat it all and it could definitely be a meal if you wanted it to be. The absolute best thing is the kids menu. My son loves chips and queso so much. Queso dip is one of the sides you can get with the kids meal. How amazing is that? We go to some Mexican restaurants and I spend more on queso for this child than I do on a meal for him or even myself. He had the cheese quesadilla with queso and rice as sides. After lunch, I asked him if we could come back here and he said oh yes! My son ate most of his meal, but grandma and I both ended up taking to go boxes. I feel like the prices are pretty reasonable, especially the kids meal and for the portions they give you even for the adult meals. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She brought out fresh chips and salsa almost immediately, and as soon as our chips started to run low, she immediately replaced them. As soon as we ordered, I asked if she could bring my son's queso first and she gladly obliged. It was a very hot day and she kept our drinks full. We will definitely be back.

We ordered the carnitas tacos, fresh guacamole, three house tequila shots, and a beer. While the food was okay, the portions were surprisingly small (barely any meat or avocado or rice) and didn't come close to justifying the cost. The guacamole was fresh, but overall the meal felt overpriced from start to finish. The biggest shock was the bill. We spent $67 for just one entrée, three house tequila shots, and one beer, which is hard to justify given the portion sizes and overall quality. The house tequila shots alone were $12.50 each, which felt excessive for house liquor. Service was also disappointing. Even before the restaurant became busy, everything moved slowly. To make matters worse, our server accidentally mixed up our receipt and initially charged us for another table's food. It created a lot of unnecessary confusion, and what bothered me most was that the mistake was handled rather casually. There wasn't much urgency or concern despite it being a significant billing error. The restaurant itself has a nice, modern atmosphere with comfortable booths, so I'll give credit where it's due. Unfortunately, the ambiance wasn't enough to make up for the overpriced food, small portions, slow service, and billing issues. Overall, I left feeling like I paid far more than the experience was worth. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants in Orlando that offer larger portions, better service, and much better value for the money. I won't be returning.
