Pig and peanut butter French toast with bacon.
    Alyssa W.

Stopped by here on a Friday morning. I shared breakfast with a fiend. With had the pig and peanut butter French toast.I didn't have much hope for the meal. However. It was delicious. The sweet from the peanut butter and the maple syrup mixed with the salty from the bacon and crunch of the bacon was delicious. I'd come back just for this. My other friend got their chicken and waffles and he said it was equally delicious.

Tim's kitchen is our local go to spot for breakfast in Puyallup. The food positions are always huge and filling and the taste is consistent. The service is always good, wait staff is always friendly and timely.

Our service was wonderful! The food was alright. It took a long time to get our meals. My pancakes came out lukewarm but my Fiancé's meal was hot. Very casual environment with a country feel. Our server definitely saved the experience. Not sure I'll make the trip back for breakfast but I'll try any place twice. We all have off days.

The food was good. The service could be better. Our server barely check up on us, to refill coffee or see if we needed anything. By the time she checked on us, we no longer wanted jam for our toast. Ambiance was loud. All you can hear was people talking. I had the blueberry lemon French toast and my husband had a Denver omelette. The blueberry lemon French toast smelled really yummy, but in my opinion too sweet for me. I could only eat 1. Bacon was really good and hash browns was ok. My hubby said his omelette was good, but they could have used one more egg. Coffee was decent and cup of fruit had more grapes then melon. It also seemed like they cut the melons real small to make it look a lot. I do plan going again and trying out some other stuff.

The $5 May birthday celebration breakfast special, great deal, tasty.

First time trying TK at any of the 4 locations. Celebrating their 13th birthday they are offering "retro" specials so when going nearby we stopped in for the breakfast special. First impression the place inside felt cold, lacking any ambiance or vibe. I expected a warm cozy diner with possibly the train theme. There is a train in a portion of the dining area up below the ceiling. I noticed a booth had ripped up seat cushion, tacky. Ok let's get to the food & service. We appreciate good coffee, since most places charge $3-4, I've learned to take a sip of my hubby's before ordering my own. I did that here and glad I did, not good. Why are breakfast houses not using quality coffee yet charging like it is?? We both ordered the $5 special, we've cut back on our intake so we knew it should be fine. The server took a while to get our waters and one coffee but after that she was good on service although forgot my addition of gravy and hubby asking for A-1, but she was pleasant and made sure our hash browns were extra crisp! Didn't take too long to get our meals, as the place was picking up. Always appreciate hot food, eggs cooked perfectly, the extra crisp hash, decent sausage/bacon, and the toast was toast. Overall obviously a great value for this special offer. We'd go back actually at the regular $7 price. Like to try some other meal specials as well. Was a bit surprised at the cost of the mimosas and Bloody Mary $8-10. For such a casual place I expected the mimosas to be $5-6 and BM maybe $6-8 following suit with other places in this category. Also some interior design help much needed to spruce things up. Even all the big windows looked streaky blurry. Chef did good job though, thanks for the special deals.

Packed parking, dirty. Long wait once seated. Servers don't really care about their customers. Server offered refill on water and never got it. Felt not welcome, service severely lacking for our table if 3. Server would go to other tables and check on them refill their drinks but passed us by. It's noon now the restaurant is not that busy. Gets worse every time I return. Pretty soon I'll get the clue and stop coming.

Homey- family, American good start day food restaurant. I enjoyed the California Benny eggs & my Honey had the corned beef hash.

Chicken and waffles, chicken fried steak for breakfast. Now to dig in

Our food was great, the only hiccup was service for today. All though energy was great from all team members, our server messed up our drinks then our food. But mistakes happen, I get it. She did share that it was her end of her shift, I could only imagine she was excited to get off and her listening wasn't to keen. Ambiance was clean, and friendly.

Awesome! Couldn't have enjoyed our visit to Crockett's any more…read more We stopped in on a Saturday for lunch. It was relatively busy, but our server was great! The fried zucchini were prepared in a manner that we haven't seen before - long, flat pieces. Excellent! My wife had the Sloppy Joe - and she couldn't have been more pleased. Seasoned to perfection. I opted for a Wedge Salad, which was another item prepared in a way I hadn't seen before either - it wasn't a big rock-like salad, it was sliced and laid sideways. Perfect. and with lots of bacon! We'll definitely be back to Crockett's! (We'll just have to find a reason to go to Puyallup.)

Came here per their suggestion, because I'm a food snob, and I'm glad we did. Cool little place, super clean, nice decorum, yada yada yada. Our server was Jessica T. I am very neurotic, and she was very patient, and even engaged in back and forth banter. She came to take our drink order, and if you know me, I always have a lot of complex requests. I started off ordering a boring vodka and soda, but then switched it up to cucumber vodka with muddled lime and mint with soda. Visibly and vocally unperturbed, she took my order along with my counterparts. The bartender whipped me up a couple of those bad boys and let me tell you, it was refreshment level: EXPERT. And props to the bartender, whom I thanked on the way out. After I drink order, I started ordering all sorts of ish. We had, an order of grilled sourdough, which was phenomenal and I'm actually going to start making that at home, if I ever get there, me and my (non-romantically involved, strictly platonic cuz I don't swing that way) partner both had the Cavatappi Ragu, and his wife had something with meatballs, that's all I can really remember. Man, even a my standards the food was so good. I'm very grateful that my folks picked up the check, and I feel bad because I ordered so much stuff, which I wasn't expecting because I went Ham on the menu, but damn man.... I think you can actually eat cheaper at a comparable restaurant in LA... Prices were pretty high. Even for me hahaha BUT all that being said, the next time I come see these clowns, I want to go back! Very good experience, very good food, very good service. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. The first issue was the seating. Instead of putting our party at an area that had tables that could be moved together five of us were put at a booth meant for four people. The area with more capacity was by the door that leads to the outdoor dining, and was being used by other patrons, with more room available. A chair wa placed at the end of the table for the booth we were in. The legs for the table were such that I had to "tuck" my feet under the chair I was sitting on. This was very uncomfortable for someone who had seven knee surgeries. During the meal I had to place the plate with my biscuit onto my knee to get my coffee refilled, either that or the server would have needed to reach over me to refill it. The food was a bit of a disappointment for two of us. I had the chicken fried steak with country potatoes. My wife had eggs Benedict with loaded hash browns. My county potatoes were actually cool, not cold, not even warm, cool. What made them semi-warm was the gravy on top of them. My wife's potatoes appear to have been sitting around. They were more than crispy, being hard, and cold. The eggs for the eggs Benedict were almost completely hard cooked. The yolk was not at all runny, to blend in with the sauce. Her fruit cup had lots of water in it, and the melon was not as ripe as it should have been. She remarked later she should have gotten the biscuit. We did not complain to the server. Had we done so everyone else in our party would have finished their meals by the time our replacement would have arrived. Well over $100 spent for a disappointing experience. The first we can remember at a Black Bear Diner.

Wanted breakfast and thought why not Tim's…read more Well today should have need "Not Tim's" We got there at 8am and it was a little busy. But not so busy it took 5min to greet and seat us. Really lots of empty tables but a staff that seemed to not care or we finally had mastered the power of invisibility. Finally someone motioned just a minute. Like 5 minutes wasn't enough. So we got a table and reviewed the menu. We decided on a simple breakfast. Eggs, bacon, coffee, toast etc.... Simple right? It took 5 minutes to get two cups of coffee. Then we waited. Remember it was not very busy. Server was nice but nothing about sorry your wait was so long. Nothing! Well the two breakfast dishes (scrambled eggs and sunny side up eggs) still were a no show. And we like crisp bacon but not overly cooked bacon. Not a difficult order. I have whipped this out in my kitchen in less than 10 minutes for 3 people. So why did it take almost 15 minutes to get ours. And why no coffee refills? And crispy bacon is not drop already cooked bacon into a deep fryer and forget it and then serve it and it actually is sooo overcooked that just looking at it makes it break and charcoal would have tasted better. The eggs were under cooked scrambled as my wife likes done eggs and my sunny side up were two rubber disks and overcooked with no sign of the runny eggs I like. The rest of the food was meh. So lesson learned, don't think Tim's will be an option for any meals in the future. P.S.: even when we pointed out the issues the server didn't blink when she said "You asked for crispy bacon, and the kitchen was overwhelmed" Really!!!
