I was craving halo-halo and found this gem. It's one of the many food kiosks inside Blossom Market Hall. I had the proper halo-halo I remember growing up eating. Sweet red beans, young coconut shreds, ripe jackfruit strips, kaong, nata de coco, topped with ube ice cream, leche flan, and crisp rice cereal. Staff took the order patiently and said the halo-halo will be ready in 10 minutes. There are tables with hideaway benches and bar height chairs and tables to sit on.
I had a good experience at Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel). I ordered the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) and Thai Tea ($9 - 24oz). Although its Thai Tea felt lackluster, the Mais Con Yelo dessert ensnared my heart. I happily bit into its creamy, sweet scoop of ice cream. I arrived at Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) on Thursday (around 6:30PM). It's located inside the Blossom Market Hall. Parking is easy. The lot is spacious. Customers order at the counter or self-service kiosk. Staff is friendly but unmemorable. Staff usually vanishes behind the counter. After ordering, Staff provides an electronic pager. It beeps when your order is ready. My order took six minutes and 53 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) and Thai Tea ($9 - 24oz). The Mais Con Yelo includes Sweet Corn Cheese Ice Cream, Sweet Corn & Cream Corn Mix, Shaved Ice, Evaporated Milk, Condensed Milk, and Corn Cereal. When fresh, the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) is VERY delicious. The ice cream is creamy with a robust, addictive corn flavor; its dry corn cereal toppings add a playful "CRUNCH." However, this treat is messy. It melts quickly!! As you progress, the treat tastes like chilled milky sweet corn. Unfortunately, the Thai Tea ($9 - 24oz) tastes heavy and bitter. There's an appreciated tea flavor attempt; however, it tasted burnt. Also, the boba pearls had a very off-putting texture and taste. These boba pearls felt like defrosted marshmallows. Despite the mediocre taste, I appreciated how the drink is thirst-quenching and huge. The Thai Tea is not bad, but it's forgettable. Concerning ambiance, Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) benefits from being inside the popular Blossom Market Hall. It's filled with customers! The music is also very energetic and upbeat like a nightclub. The location has plenty of tables and seating. And the location is well-ventilated and clean. If I were to nitpick, Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) would benefit from a hand sanitizer bottle because its desserts are so messy. Overall, I appreciated my visit to Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel). Personally, the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) saved this experience. It's a beautiful and delicious dessert. If curious, I lightly recommend. 4.5 out of 5
We stopped by on a busy Saturday night and there was only 1 employee working. The young gentleman working assisted every customer waiting in line with such grace and kindness. We were watching him make the drinks and you can tell he was having a great time putting the drinks together. The young man delivered all the drinks and orders in a timely manner with a smile. Thank you for providing excellent customer service. Enjoyed our milk teas from Tim's Thai Tea. We ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea and Thai Tea. It was delicious. The milk teas were not too sweet. The Thai Tea was blended perfectly: Can't wait to try other milk tea items on their menu.
We got catering from Tim's chai tea/Mag's matamis. It was an excellent experience. Everyone enjoyed the fish balls, the shrimp balls, the kwek kwek and the sauces. The live cooking was a highlight! And the dessert portion was even better. The sago gulaman was the best and so refreshing. We also had Halo halo and Mais con yelo which were both delicious. They usually have their tent, but I am very grateful that they were able to accommodate our narrower but longer space on the day of. We did have umbrellas to help keep the desserts cool. For the catering package all the utensils and containers were all included. And they were very efficient and none of our guests had to wait very long for any food or dessert. Scheduling with them was very easy and convenient. They respond quickly and are able to customize the menu to your needs and they also print the menu according to your parties theme. I was very happy with their food and their service and would highly recommend them!
Tea Bag - no, tea IN a bag... yes! With such a picture, I couldn't help but try it out for its novelty. Yup, I got the Thai tea in a bag with brown sugar boba - less sweet. The drink took about 5 minutes to prepare, and the staff explained how to enjoy it in their reusable pouch. A few sips later, I realized that the boba tasted normal and not like brown sugar - still good nonetheless. The Thai tea was on the watery side, but the level of sweetness was nearly perfect. The reusable pouch? I enjoyed the idea of being sustainable; now I just need to use it more often. The best part about it? It's included in the price, and it also stands on the table fairly well. A good amount of thought was definitely put into this product - credit where credit is due!
Halo halo!!!!!!!! One of the best! Got the large 24oz cup. Guy was nice enough to split into two 12oz cups. He even let us have a choice of ice cream flavor!!! The mais ice cream is the best! Located inside the blossom food hall in SGV. This food hall has plenty of seating and parking with free wifi for all guests. The staff were super attentive and helpful in answering any questions we had. Unfortunately the mais con yelo was definitely pricey when compared to everything else served in the food hall. Tasty but not worth the price. order: Mais Con Yelo ($13 after tax) comment: I tried to get a cup for free water at the hall but they don't provide any cups. I asked if they sell water which they then replied yes but for $5.50. WHY WOULD A BOTTLE OF WATER COST $5.50?? Great service and tasty drink but the prices are all over the place
This place was busy. There was only employee and he was working hard. He still gave great customer service even though he was the only one working on such a busy evening. I didn't get to catch his name but it was 10/11/25 around 8pm. We ordered the thai iced tea and strawberry milk tea in a reusable pouch. Requested for no boba in either drink. They were delicious! The reusable pouch is a cool concept. And it came with a bendy straw for the LO. Thank you!
a really cute dessert place in the middle of a food court! got the halo halo -- it was made quickly and tasted very fresh. there are lots of tables right near the shop, plus more tables with outlets upstairs. the music downstairs is pretty loud and more suitable for if you're chatting with friends. upstairs is quieter and good if you're working. the tables can get pretty crowded, so keep that in mind if wanting to eat here. the wifi is strong and held well during zoom meetings. lots of clean bathrooms as well.

We had them cater our wedding and bring halo halo to our guests, and they were absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything felt so personalized. They even invited us to stop by beforehand for a complimentary tasting. On the day of, they were so patient, accommodating, and easy to work with during setup. This was the most anticipated vendor at our wedding, and they did not disappoint! The halo halo was a huge hit! Everyone loved it and kept talking about it all night. Decided to stop by today to pick up some halo halos. My mom's never tried it before so had to let her try it. She's picky with desserts because she doesn't have a sweet tooth but to my surprise she said the halo halo was good and not too sweet. First time visiting the Blossom Market so I made sure to try out multiple businesses. I was excited to order a buko pandan. I approached the register and I couldn't see the employee. I then went on the side of the pick up window and saw the employee standing there. I did wave him down to order because he had both of his AirPods on. I placed my order and he handed me a pager. I would've liked to receive some type of customer service as he made it seem like a bother to make my order. Buko Pandan 10/10- Refreshing and was exactly what I expected. After receiving my order I did notice that you can borrow a boba bingo. You do need to give a refundable deposit which I totally understood. I came back after bringing my order to my table. The employee now had his back turned towards the counter/register while still on his AirPods. He didn't appear to be doing anything luckily after a few minutes he turned around. I asked him if I could borrow the game and handed him the deposit. He then proceeded to open the register to where I saw him place my $20. After a few rounds of playing, I returned their game and asked for my deposit back. He looked a bit confused and I reminded him of my $20 which he then took out of his apron. I didn't have a lot of interactions with this employee but, he did concern me in the sense that he was the closing employee who is in charge of someone's small business. This place has great tasting desserts! I'm hoping the employee was just having a one off as I have seen pictures of other employees with captions of their great service. My family and I first experienced Tim's Thai Tea at the Filled Market and really liked the variety of options they had. We had to visit their new location in Alhambra and once again loved the flavors that we tasted from their halo-halo and mais con yelo ice drinks. We were a bit disappointed because this location doesn't offer the Filipino street food snacks that we tasted at the Filled Market and were looking forward to trying them again. The preparation took a while but the result came out tasting very delicious. There aren't a lot of places in the Alhambra area where you can taste authentic Filipino desert and Tim's Thai Tea is a great addition! read more

How do I start? Well, for one I love halo halo and Thai tea, and when I saw the poster at Blossom Food Market, I said a BIG yessss. And guess what? I live across food hall! Since they open until now (03/09 @11:57am) , they are very consistent- service, taste and how they prepare everything..my goal is to try every item on the menu . Disappointing. There was no essence of "halo- halo" in my halo halo as what you can see in the picture. Barely any sahog in it. It's basically shaved ice with milk and ice cream on top. Also very pricy. I had family and friends who asked me to try it first and I wouldn't be recommending it with this type of pricing and "halo-halo". It just looks good cuz of the ice cream but overall, it's a no. In addition, I did give this business a chance that's why I tried it. Instead of fixing and improving, the Owner starts messaging me rudely and started stalking my profile. Very unprofessional. read more

How do you mess up taro this bad? The color and taste doesn't even resemble taro. I'm starting to question what I'm actually drinking. Went back this weekend to try their thai tea and street snacks! Love the story behind their reusable bags and how its supposed mirror street food in thailand! The drink was perfectly sweet, and the boba was so chewy and soft! The sweet sausage sticks were a nice balance of sweet and savory! I thought the marshmallows were a unique and nice addition. The lobster balls were delicious! Paired perfectly with their sauces!! Theyre also offering catering services for any gatherings (large or small)! Loved it!! I got Tim's Thai Iced Tea this weekend and it was delicious + perfectly sweet. My friend got the Thai Iced Coffee which was also very good and on the sweet side. For $6 each, I felt these drinks were a great value. They come in plastic bags + a straw which makes for a fun carry around. I chose to not get boba so I could have more tea instead and I'm glad I did. They have an extensive menu and I'd like to try their ice cream boba options in the future. There is also a parking lot at the main location, which I'd recommend parking at since some of the surrounding streets are a little rough. read more

We got the taro milkshake with boba. Since the drink is expensive I had my daughters split a large, and they were super nice and put it in two cups so they each got their own pretty cup with house made taro whipped cream and pocky. Delicious! read more

Stop by the Blossom Market in San Gabriel on Mission (large parking lot in back) to support this veteran-owned business and enjoy supurb customer service and an array of freshly made, thoughtfully crafted teas, milkshakes, boba, and shaved ice. Cantaloupe shaved ice is so refreshing and light, a must try on warm days. Thai tea milk shake is a decadent blend of milky goodness with boba and of course, whipped cream. Also, great place to dine in: lots of tables, free wifi and clean restrooms. read more

I came to blossom market hall with my family to get some dinner and came across Tim's Thai Tea. We ordered the halo-halo and i must say that it was delicious! It was my first time trying the Halo Halo at Tim's Thai Tea and now I am addicted. I pretty much have to make a pit stop here every time we come to blossom market hall. I also see some people complaining about the price of the drink but I feel the price is pretty average compared to Halo Halo's elsewhere. Besides, the Halo Halo is not just a drink, it's a dessert with a combination of fruits, jellies, flan, ube ice cream and more.! My husband & I always knew we wanted to forego the traditional wedding cake and instead serve Halo Halo to guests at our wedding. What we didn't know is how hard it'd be to find a dessert caterer for this! Thankfully we found Mags Matamis/Tim's Thai Tea. From initial contact Maggie and her team were professional, informative, and had great pricing for this service. The halo halo bar was a hit at our wedding! People lined up before hitting the dance floor and were able to customize their halo halo's. We loved that it was customizable because everyone has different preferences for the ingredients. After the wedding we had multiple guests tell us they had 2 (or more!) We were so happy to treat our guests while also honoring our Filipino heritage. The service was top notch through & through! OMG! This is the combo I never thought I needed. @timsthaitea & @magsmatamis are a husband & wife duo bringing some of the best Thai and Filipino drinks/desserts. These are located in Downtown Los Angeles inside the Filled Market along with other asian pop-up businesses. What I ordered: 1.) Thai Tea & Thai Coffee - both drinks were amazing, huge portion and you have an option to add boba into it. 2.) Maís Con Yelo: sweet corn, milk & shaved ice - it has the right amount of sweetness, corn and ice ratio as well as milk. It was amazing! 3.) Halo-halo: ube ice cream, jackfruit, red sugar palm, white beans, coconut, ube jam, shaved ice - one of the best halo-halos I've ever had. So so good! 4.) Sweet Sausage Sticks: red hotdogs w/ marshmallows - this brings me back to my childhood birthday parties. Simple yet delicious! 5.) Tim's Thai Tea with Boba Mag's Matamis - ube ice cream, jackfruit, red sugar palm, red mung beans, macapuno strings, ube jam, shaved ice, evaporated milk, condensed milk, pinipig, and flan OMG, I loved this shaved ice so much. I'm not a fan of Hawaiian shaved ice because it's chunks of ice and syrups, but THIS! It reminds me of the Cambodian shaved ice I'd eat all the time!! It's honestly very similar but with ube paste and ice cream on top!! I think this should be a crowd favorite, and anyone who tries will find it hard for it to be disappointing!! Quail Eggs Red Hot Dogs with Mini Marshmallows Their street food snacks are complemented with SO MANY SAUCES!! LOL I was offered so many, but I went with the hot garlic Thai sauce and sriracha ketchup (I believe... all the sauce names came at me so fast!! ). Would go back!! I think more than the Thai tea I'm in love with the shaved ice dessert. There's so many toppings added into the cup that each bite different and SO GOOD! I think that's the most worth food item to get on the menu. On one of my trips to Cambodia, I remember being surprised to see sugarcane juice being held in plastic bags topped off simply with long straws. Got to check out filledmarket in the Arts District in DTLA for the first time! It was fun seeing all the different Filipinx businesses operating out of this market and seeing other foodie friends here! I got: Red Hot Dog Mais Con Yelo Tim's Thai Tea The hot dog was such a cute bite-sized snack and the drinks were really refreshing since it was incredibly hot that day. Tim's Thai taste is rich and authentic and my boyfriend claimed it was the best Thai Tea he's had yet. We also got the Fried Lobster balls and Kwek Kwek Skewers that has a quail egg inside. Both tastes delicious. This stand also has Mags Matamis that produces a Buko Pandan dessert that has Condense Milk, Shaved Ice, Fresh Coconut Shavings, evaporated Milk mixed with Pandan extract, topped with Tapioca Pearls, Green Gulaman, Buko Pandan Ice Cream and toasted coconut. I grew up eating a lot of Pandan desserts, so to be able to taste this dessert was like a nostalgic throwback to my childhood and culture growing up. I love that this delicious dessert is not too sweet and when it melted, it became a refreshing drink! Haha read more
