I've been coming to this salon for a long time and always had good experiences, but my last visit was honestly the worst I've ever had and I left injured. The technician who worked on me seemed very new and unsure of what she was doing. She kept asking other staff members for help and accidentally cut all five of my toes on my right foot with the drill bit, including a deep cut on my big toe. She realized she'd hurt me and changed the bit, but it was already too late. It burned badly when she put rubbing alcohol over the cuts, and I could barely keep my foot still from the pain. Even days later, my foot is still sore and it hurts to walk which should never happen after a pedicure. The polish job was also sloppy, uneven, and on my skin. Another technician had to step in to fix it, but I still had to redo parts at home. I've always supported this salon, but this experience really shook my trust. I just want to warn others to be careful if you notice a new or inexperienced technician and I hope management takes this seriously, retrains their staff, and prioritizes safety and hygiene.

I've been getting my nails done here for a long period of time more than 10 years and I have to say that the quality of service has always been great. Tom is one of the owners at this establishment and he knows you by name and always addresses you with proper care, asks how you were doing and i appreciate how personable he is, i admire his personal aspirations. The five is always positive atmosphere is always calm and relaxing . His business is a pillar for our community and I'm very thankful to have this business local.

It's was the first time for us, pani pedi. Vi did a EXCELLENT job on me, but as for Kyle (text confirmation stated Kyle) that did my mom's nails ... I'm not here to rant.... Don't get me wrong, nails are BEAUTIFUL, however, he did not put a clean towel underneath her arms while doing the mani, and unless you repeatedly ask to include to clean up the cuticles, he failed to do so. Arms ended up itchy and dirty from the nail dust from who knows how many other peoples nail dust. Sorry, it just didn't look clean. Also, may I add.... I didn't understand having the Virgin Mary (respectively) on one corner and TV screens with half naked women, with inappropriate language? Hmm... I was hoping to find out forever nail spa, so, we'll see...

I've been a faithful customer here. I'm on time, I keep it simple. I tip well. I really dont ask for much other than proper service. Trish is who I go to and she's only available weekend so it's literally a race to book her. At first it was worth it because she's a sweetheart and does a great job. The people who run this place could careless about the customer it's money, money, money!! Recently service and work has had a downfall. I try to be as understanding as possible. Today is my last and final straw. 1st time I waited 15 minutes because they put her to work on someone else. Cool I smiled and that's it. They did it again ok whatever. 3) I don't live close. They call me minutes before my appointment to change it. That really upsets me!! I haven't got my nails done in 2 months because they changed my appointment time LAST MINUTE. I was already in parking lot last time and they push me out 20 minutes. I just left. Today, I was excited to get an early Friday appointment and it's my birthday. 10 minutes before my appointment I booked 1 month ago. They called to push me out 15 minutes. Once they start doing that it sucks because then Trisha works in a hurry and doesn't do the best job. I shouldn't have to settle for that type of service hurried and rushed. With that being said I will not return to this place.

While I don't like leaving bad reviews, I think this is a must. I went in for a gel pedicure and builder gel manicure. The girl did not clean out my cuticles at all. I wish it was an exaggeration when I say she was gliding over the cuticle with her nippers. She pretty much just put polish on. The guy who did my builder gel manicure was great and I'll return for only that. But never again for a pedicure.

I decided to give this place a try since the nail salon I wanted to originally go to was closed. The actual establishment is small, cramped and cluttered. The technician was rude and sort of rough with my hands. I asked for coffin shape and I wasn't really happy with the way they turned out. The nail base was wider than my nail bed. I don't think I'll be returning here.

So far, very happy with Tip 2 Toe nail spa. I called on a Friday at 3:15pm for a dip manicure, they asked me to come in at 4pm and they took me pretty quickly. Chloe did my nails and she was awesome. Quick, efficient, did a great job cutting all my cuticles and had me out of there in an hour. I will go back. Thank you Chloe.

Very, very dissatisfied! First of all, I've given them several chances and hate leaving bad reviews but this final time I went in was the absolute worst, and last time. 1. The man at the front desk was absolutely rude. Anytime I had a question (on prices, or services) he responded as if I was inconveniencing him with my questions. I believe his name was Jay or Jayden? 2. The nail tech working on my full set was filing my nails so recklessly he cut me. I told him it hurt repeatedly but he obviously did not care. He was in such a rush and the finished product shows: chunky acrylic, weirdly shaped, and just plain messy looking. I requested "almond shaped" but not sure what you would call this shape? **To be fair, my mom and sister also got full sets and theirs were not bad- cannot complain on that. 3. The man at the front desk overcharged me by about $20 - he claims he thought my mom/sister got gel on their acrylics.... I am not sure why because the nail techs obviously knew they didn't do gel. When I brought it up to him he told me I should have said something before paying because now he would have to do a refund and redo the transaction. At this point I was at a loss for words!!! I'm sorry but I can't teach you how to do your job correctly! All in all, not a good experience at all!

The day after I got my nails done and two nails were chipped. Also the dip is too thick..skip this place is you can.

Well after over 5 yrs of refusing to step foot back into this place because of the horrible customer service I experienced, I caved due to not being able to find a decent nail place ANYWHERE! I must say the work is still AMAZING, Julie fixed the crappy set I had gotten somewhere else & the most surprising part, they knew exactly who I was & remembered me! This salon stays open later (than most in the area which is how I came about getting my nails done here. Henry did my "Eagles" nails and I'm 100% satisfied with his work. Matter of fact, I was so happy with the service and I attention I received that I went back the next day for a pedicure. read more

Nail technicians are nice. The area is small and cramped but they make do. They just got new gel options! They are not slow or fast either, just a decent amount of time to call you & do nails. The first time I went they cut me. The second time I was fine (though they did cur my friend that time). Both times we got a full set gel manicure only. read more

Lei is the best for nails fills and French tip. Kelly is the best for pedicures and does a great job polishing all the way to the corners. I always recommend making an appointment because it gets crowded, especially in the evening. So sad Kelly left. They said she's in school for 2 months but others say she's not coming back read more

Beware! God forbid you need to go back to get a nail fixed! Never in my life have I been treated the way Tom just treated me. Ive been coming here for 6 years and today i went back after getting my nails done last night and one popped off. He seemed bothered from the get go because I went to get my nail fixed. Due to the uncomfortable feeling I started looking at my phone since he was not making any eye contact or small talk and it was just awkward and he kept taking in his language to others. He started looking on his phone so I figured he was still just bothered and was totally ignoring me this went on for about 10 minutes and then he stepped away. When he came back he asked if i was done being on my phone and that blew my mind. I told him it seems "you are upset that im back to fix my nail but its not my fault a nail popped off" he responded you're here for nails not to be on your phone and i just responded "wow" i wss in total disbelief. Even the customer sitting next to me seemed shocked. Never ever will i go back. read more

This is a nicer nail salon in the area. I recommend asking for Jon for a full gel acrylic job, he does a fantastic job. Everything is clean and nice. Though I have been to better locations where the quality is more consistent between the different technicians. I had one here that kept answering and checking her phone every time it went off. That was not professional, and this is while they ask costumers to keep off of their own phones. Also, the manicures here do not come with a massage like other locations, maybe it's an additional option on their menu, but with the services I have gotten here, hand massages usually come with it at other salons. If you are looking for a decent place to get your nails done, this is a decent place in the area. read more

Chloe did a great job! I've been to her once before her and was very satisfied! I had a recent visit at another salon in Norwalk and it did not even feel like i had gotten a manicure. It looked like they just put color on my hands, they did not take their time cutting my cuticles or cleaning them up whatsoever. And the gel lasted only 4 days before it started to peel! Chloe did took her time on my nails and made sure they were sharp and clean! The gel lasted two weeks , so i went back today and requested her. I will never see anyone for my manicures again! My coworker visited "Annie" last week and I thought the results were very pretty. I made an appointment with the same technician. The acrylic on my pinky finger began to lift from the cuticle upward and created a horrible break- a break that would've taken my skin off and made me take a break from acrylics until my nail grew back. Annie was professional and courteous and she managed to save my nail. She was very gentle and took her time with my nails. I am very pleased with my results and I will revisit. read more

Let me start by saying this used to be my favorite place.. came in to have my acrylics filed down and just do a mani over them Not only did I get called sensitive the first man that was going to do my nails basically threw the nail cutter at me because I politely asked if he could just file it down with his machine instead of pulling off the acrylic because it fucken hurts! The second man laughed at me cause I told him my nail bed hurt and if he could just file them he began to call me sensitive and I'm sure other great things in his language Worse customer service ever instead of hearing me out they proceeded to be rude to me I left.. with messed up looking nails and all rather not give them my money fuck this place read more

My mom and I have been coming here for about 5 years now and always leave highly satisfied with pedicures and gel manicures. They have several pedicure options with the prices listed according to your needs. I like getting the happy pedicure it comes with callus remover, deep scrub, hot lotion, message. I love how they finish their pedicures with a hot towel it feels so relaxing! As for my nails, I love getting acrylics with gel. They usually last about a month until I need to return for a fill. I usually like soft pinks or neutral colors and opt out of the designs unless I'm feeling festive. All of the staff is efficient and friendly. You get a stamp card and eventually get a $5 discount when you fill up. I've also had eyebrows waxed and they did a good job but I usually just do my nails here! They work on both at the same time, I love it because I'm out in half the time. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for at least 8 years and I will continue to be here every two weeks! Front desk receptionist Tam always is friendly and helpful, she always greets me by name (it never fails), Tom I've known since I've been coming here and he will always make an effort to make sure I am well taken care of, and recently a new pedicurist works here and she is AMAZING, her name is Annie, I highly recommend her! Trisha is great at acrylics and designs, Tammy does a great job at facial waxing, and last but not least Amy is my go to for my lash lift. Why does your open time say 9:30 your front desk person doesn't roll in until 9:45 with an attitude and your nail tech don't get their till after 10? Makes no sense just make your open time 10 and maybe they'll get their on time oh and don't bother calling they never answer... read more

Great place! Great prices! The staff is pretty friendly. Everything is pretty clean. They have a variety of services and many colors to choose from. I got a mani/pedi and it ended up looking great! They have a lot of cool things playing on tv which makes your stay pretty comfortable and entertaining. They had current movies playing such as the BFG and they also had a pretty cool radio station playing with amazing music. I was there when they were closing and they were pretty nice, they weren't pushy about you leaving at all. They let me stay there until my nails were completely dry. I loved this place and if I didn't live in Chicago I would definitely become a regular customer. 5 stars for sure!!!! There is also parking available which is a plus! read more

This is my only nail spot!! The employees are friendly and sometimes I'll bring my daughter with me, but when I don't have her, the woman at the front desk asks where my baby is. :) They always do a great job on my nails whether I get acrylics or gel on my real nails. Would definitely recommend this place!! read more

$70 for a basic gel-x set when you say $55 on the phone. Honey the price of a gel x kit is $99 and you guys did a basic service. No reason you should be charging almost the same price for me to do my nails at home. Disgusting business practice. You guys are trying to get your clientele back in after a pandemic and this isn't it. read more

Came to get a gel manicure...1st off, the lady cut me and laughed which was really rude and unprofessional. 2nd, she gave finished and walked away without providing me lotion and I was surprised more so because every nail salon I have ever been to gives you a quick little hand rub with lotion and when I asked about them not offering the service I got the stupid answer of "well we don't want to take long so you can pay for a massage if you want" 3rd my nails have a nasty film on the gel that make my nails look discolored...talk about a hard fail. I love to get my lashes here by Amy. She does a great job. No one has ever gotten my lashes to thick and fluffy like Ashley, plus they last well over 3 weeks. And the best part is I could wash them everyday. I highly recommend Ashley if you want great looking lashes! read more

Very unprofessional, I scheduled and appointment with Amy for lashes on Friday afternoon for Monday via instagram, I come in an to my surprise she canceled my appointment and scheduled another customer, very disappointed I made a 10 mile drive in traffic for nothing, don't waste time with unreliable business. Amy sent me a Text message to my phone in that message it didn't request a reply or confirmation it was a reminder of my appointment , I honestly believe she never planned on doing my lashes cause from the moment I contacted her for the appointment she insisted I schedule with her coworker cause she had a busy schedule, and when I arrived for my appointment she once again insisted her coworker do my lashes. This place is the ultimate TOEGASM! If you want one or you've never had one, then THIS PLACE IS A MUST! I stumbled across this hidden gem while going to my beloved shave it, as they are conveniently located next to one another (bonus points!). Thanks to yelp and the wonderful reviews on this place I went in not expecting much, I mean cmon $15!? I went in expecting to wait as it appeared to be busy but they had plenty of chairs and enough employees to accommodate their high volume of customers. They offer a great selection of polishes and different types of spa pedicure treatments, I believe there is a 30, 45 & 1 hour. I chose the 30 min for $15 and boy, let me tell you. Best $15 I've spent for a 30 min service in awhile. She was fairly quick cleaning and prepping my feet for the pedi then spent the next 15-20 min drowning my calves & feet in some serious TLC. The massage was thee best part even tho it was just a side order it made the pedi irrelevant! Anywhoo, the girl who did my nails told me that a lot of guys come in for pedis and I can see why, the girls here are young and pretty, not the typical viet auntie type. If you're like me and want it all, douse yourself in some triple pleasure with shaved ice, a massage and a pedi all at the same time ;) read more

I never do a lot of yelp reviews but when it comes to good places and awesome customer services I sure do. This places is one of my favorite places to come and get my mani and pedi's done. I always ask for Lee who does an amazing job when it comes to my gel mani's and May to my pedi's. They are clean and have great customer service. I mean there is a reason why they are always busy. Five stars all the way!!!!! My friend and I went here last week for the first time... we needed to find a spot in this area as we are working nearby here now and had asked one of our staff who had great nails for a recommendation. She said that she came here and it was good. So off we come... but we had a brochure in hand, so on the way I am reading and see the happiest mani pedi. Wow, it was awesome so on top of our fills we got very very happy mani pedis. It was decadent and awesome and fantastic. It involved on hands and feet, salt scrubs, hot oil massages, mud wraps and parafin wax... I mean really!!! It was awesome! Yes, we liked it!!! And we love our nails too. :) read more

Worst experience in the history of getting nails done. Let me break this entire thing down. I entered after have mediocre service twice before. This place is near my house so I really, really wanted to like it. I stopped coming here because of previous experiences of rude staff members so after a few years I figured hey maybe they got better or new staff so let's try it out again. I was so wrong! History: the last time before this I visited like 2 years ago. Experiencing a thin young Vietnamese woman talking smack about me in front of my face and little did they know I am HALF Vietnamese too. They should really watch what they say because you never know who understands you plus it's just rude. If you want a job you gotta keep your customers and treat them right, don't be fake. Anyway, moving on to the recent experience... I came in and only wanted a regular acrylic nail full set. I wanted a natural French manicure, on top of that I showed photos of what I wanted and asked 3 times to a woman and the man doing my nails if they could realistically achieve this look and if they know how. It was literally nothing fancy just a simple basic natural nail. After sitting there with my quiet and obviously not passionate technician he starts making my nails super square, never really asks is anything looks ok and when I tried to look at my nails he wouldn't let me and made me put it back into the UV machine. Like hello... Eventually I will see my nails and what happened to them! He also cut my thumb and made me bleed on top of this. My nails came out looking like it was Christmas with snowfall. My nails looked like a Christmas snow globe when u shake it and there's snow pieces and glitter all over. Yes, he did add glitter polish which I also didn't ask for lol. So I'm waiting and thinking in my head maybe this will get better, maybe towards the end there will be some type of blending and it will look right. Boy I was wrong! I put faith that it would be ok in the end but it didn't happen. So I'm sitting here for like an hour of wasted time and as I was leaving the hostess visually can see how upset I am. I told her how I felt and she proceeded to tell me "it looks like that because your nails are short" um NO, you will not blame me for your shortcomings besides we put on fake nails length wasn't the problem here at all. I am not an idiot and she then says " have you ever gotten your nails done before?" Look, I am 27 years old and I look young but I was definitely older than her. I have been getting my nails don't for at least 10 years of my life. How insulting was that? She quickly grabbed my card and tried to charge me and get me out and it was so offensive. I walked out only to come back in because I am not going to be taken like that. I came back and said " I REALLY don't like my nails it's not right at all, can you seriously look at my nails and honestly tell me this is acceptable and professional work?" Nobody would have said yes unless it was a lie. She then called another tech to redo my nails I just chose one color this time knowing I did not want to deal with with again. The new man who fixes me up did a wonderful job and left me feeling relieved. They both apologized he and the hostess girl and refunded me $5. I tipped $10 because I'm not like that. I came in positive and wanted a good experience, not to end up in any type of situation. I was not looking for drama but if I am paying a good amount of money I want something worth that money. I believe that is fair. Needless to say, I will never ever return. There are some things here that need to improve. If you have your go to person here good! But unfortunately I don't and will never now. read more

No stars! If you're looking for a nail salon that provides quality service, pays attention to detail and does great work...this salon is NOT for you (nor me). Where do I begin...the manicurist (didn't even take time greet me) was rushed, on her phone and as she waited for my polish to dry, she was removing the polish from her own toes! I was hoping to have a better, more relaxing experience after I got off work. I tried to give her a break but once I saw that she did not even get my previous polish completely off before hurrying me to go and pay so she could get back to her busyness, my expectations and respect for this place dwindled. Needless to say once I got in my car and looked at my nails again...I HAD to go back; my nails looked a mess! And I have an appointment to get to; I can't have my nails looking like this. Anyone can see the old dark polish residue...how inefficient can you be? And now you have an attirude because I asked you to fix my nails?...Not for me. Save your money; go elsewhere. It's sad how quality customer service isn't found here. read more

I don't know why I keep coming here over and over again after they KEEP doing me wrong. 1. They don't have a board with their prices. Every time I go, there's a different price when I get exactly the same nails done as before. And I go every 2 weeks so that's crazy and when you confront them about it they come up with a bunch of excuses. 2. I don't know if some of the technicians there, even have a license because some are so bad and don't even know what they are doing. This last time I went the guy messed up on my nails so I told him I didn't like them. Because come on it not cheap so I'm not going to go home like that. And he was all mad fixing what he had done wrong and hurting me. This did it for me. Last time coming to this place. It's a joke. I was a regular customer. Never again. read more

I have been to this salon many times in the past, my last time ever coming here was in december. Everything started out fine, I was seated quickly and started my toes, then about 5 minutes later they started my fingers. As she was cleaning my feet I felt a burning sensation almost to the point that it was unbearable. She continued to scrub my feet and clean them but had to tell her to stop because it was hurting so bad. She kind of gave me a look then continued. She finally stopped but the burning was still there. Later after I left the salon I realized she had cut the bottom of my foot wide open. I had a huge gash that was really red and made it hard to walk. This was very disappointing considering I had come here to get ready for a friend's wedding I was in. As this was happening the lady cut one of my hang nails so hard it ripped skin, later causing a infection to grow on that finger. I would not come back to this salon or recommend it to a friend!! read more

Their work is consistently excellent, which is why I've often recommended them to friends and family. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the salon's management and front desk staff. Their scheduling and customer service are extremely disorganized, and they seem to have little regard for the customer experience. The salon routinely overbooks technicians and assigns walk-in clients to technicians who already have upcoming appointments. Despite making appointments every time I've visited, I've regularly been forced to wait 15-30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, even though I make a point of arriving early as a courtesy. My most recent experience was the final straw. I scheduled both a lash lift and an acrylic fill. When I called, the receptionist told me my lash appointment would be at 5:00 PM and my nail appointment at 6:00 PM. However, the text confirmation I received only listed a 6:00 PM appointment. On previous visits, I had been told by the front desk that appointments are not considered booked without a text confirmation, so I reasonably assumed the salon had adjusted my schedule and moved the lash appointment. When I arrived at 6:00 PM, the receptionist informed me that the text confirmation was incorrect, my lash appointment had actually been at 5:00 PM, and I had missed it. No apology was offered, nor did anyone attempt to rebook the service. I then asked if I could still proceed with my 6:00 PM nail appointment, only to be told that my nail technician would not be available for another hour. The receptionist blamed the delay on my technician's timing, which was both inappropriate and inaccurate. I've worked with the same technician for two years, and she has always been professional, efficient, and respectful of her appointment schedule. It was clear that the salon had double-booked over my appointment. Their only solution was for me to return at 7:00 PM, which was not possible given my schedule. This experience was incredibly frustrating because I genuinely love the work of the nail technicians. However, I can no longer tolerate the level of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of accountability from management. As a result, I will not be returning, and I can no longer recommend this salon to others. The business needs to get control of its scheduling and customer volume before more loyal customers have similar experiences.

The nail tech also didn't really understand English so it took her awhile to take off the product so I had to dip my foot inside so I wouldn't burn the rest of my toes.

I have been coming here loyally for about 5 years. Everyone is so kind and friendly, especially the owners and the two receptionist. They are super organized and very professional.
