I had a very disappointing and concerning experience here today. I scheduled an 11:00 am tire appointment online and arrived a few minutes early. When I tried to check in, I was initially told by Kristie/Kristy (I'm not sure of the correct spelling) my appointment wasn't there and that maybe I had scheduled at the wrong location. I confirmed that I was at the address listed on my appointment. Instead of simply checking me in, the employee began calling other locations and trying to send me elsewhere because they were extremely busy. I was told the wait could be 3+ hours and that they would continue accepting walk-ins, who could possibly be seen before scheduled appointments. I never once said I wasn't willing to wait. What made this experience especially concerning was that a white woman arrived after me with the SAME 11:00 am appointment time and was checked in without an issue. A male customer also arrived afterward and was not told what I was told or encouraged to go elsewhere. I then noticed MY NAME WAS ACTUALLY ON THEIR COMPUTER SCREEN, so I questioned why I was being told my appointment wasn't there and why I was being pushed to another location. I asked for a manager and was told the manager wouldn't be available anytime soon. I don't make accusations of discrimination lightly, but after watching other customers arrive after me and receive different treatment, I genuinely left feeling that race may have played a role in how I was treated. I would like management or corporate to review the appointment records, check-in history, and surveillance footage from around 11:00 am today. Being busy is understandable. What I don't understand is why I wasn't simply given the same opportunity as everyone else to check in and wait for service. read more

Last week they mounted my directional tires the wrong way, then they charged me for balancing them...joke. my car shook so bad on the highway, felt like my tires were falling off. I took it to a different place and they were shocked at the amount of weight they put on this inside of my wheel. No joke, it was about 20 if not more. I came in there to the Gibsonton Drive in Riverview location for 4 new tires and was told my struts were leaking - all 4 of them. My vehicle is still under warranty at CarMax and they put it on the lift and showed me the struts are fine - no leaks and no wear and tear. One time I may have been there a little longer but I was also getting 4 new tires. The location is clean, the staff has been friendly and service hasn't disappointed yet. I popped a tire on I-75 and put on the spare. Tire Kingdom was one of three tire shops at the next exit, and the one I picked to hit first. We rolled less than an hour before closing time, and the crew took my car in right away. They diagnosed my tire as having a repairable hole, patched it up, and sent me on my way in less than 30 minutes. 5 stars for awesome service and speed!!! NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION. Horrible service. Went there in August to get a tired changed. Never got the tire although I paid for it. They scammed me. Patched my tire and put it back on the vehicle. I only realized it when my tire blew because of a bad alignment they did on it. Once they finally repaired my tire, I was left with another botched alignment. Check the pics. Had to go there 3 times. I was told "1h-1h30" every time. Once, my car was ready in 2h15. The other 2 times was 4hrs+. There were 4 other disgruntled customers who had been told "1h-1h30" and had been waiting 3+ hours. I called this morning because I had a Jeep Wrangler JK caliper leak issue, they told me to bring it in, didn't take longer than 20mins to inspect it and give me their assessment, once I agreed to the fix of the problem the mechanic fixed the issue, bled the calipers and returned to me around 30mins after. I took my car to Tire Kingdom at 10418 Gibsonton Dr., Riverview, FL 33578 to have them evaluate the alternator they replaced 14 months, 2 weeks earlier. I called them in advance to explain I was bringing the car in under warranty. I was told it would be no problem, so I scheduled an appointment through their website for the following morning. The next day, my car was evaluated, and I received a call "giving me options" on replacing my alternator. I reminded the caller (Mark) that the alternator was under warranty. Mark explained that their warranty is for 1 year or 12,000 miles. I explained to Mark that my receipt stated the warranty as 2 years or 24,000 miles and then texted him a picture of my receipt with the warranty printed on it. Mark told me he would call me back. Mark called me back 30 minutes later to tell me that they would not honor my warranty. He told me my options were to pay $527 for a new alternator or call the Deerfield store that installed the previous alternator to see what they could do. I explained that I had to jump start the car to bring it to him so driving it to Deerfield 230 miles away was not an option. I told him I had no choice but to have him repair my car. That said, I called the store in Deerfield to see if they could help me get the warranty honored. I was told the manager (Richard) would call me the next day. Long story short, he called the next day to tell me there was nothing he could do to help me. So, on March 20, 2023, I was charged $1,015.68 by the Deerfield store to have the alternator replaced in my son's 2013 Ford Edge. This repair was done twice because shortly after they installed the first alternator, my son's car broke down and had to be towed back to the Deerfield store. The Deerfield store then replaced the first alternator with a second one and told me their supplier had given them a bad first alternator. Less than 15 months later, that second alternator also went bad. The Riverview store then installed a third one and told me they would not honor the warranty given to me with the second one. Both stores told me there was nothing they could do. I was charged another $527.04. Incidentally, WFLA states that, "most vehicles will have an average cost between $350-400 for the total job of an alternator replacement if no other parts need to be replaced. If the serpentine belt is included in the process, add another $20 to $50 to your bill. If you decide to go with dealership parts and labor, expect the bill to climb over $500. Kelly Blue Book indicates that, "The average cost for alternator replacement is $747 to $842." This feedback would suggest I was charged double for the Deerfield alternator and full price for the Riverview alternator. Beware! These people overcharged, did poor work, and then did not honor the warranty they gave. You would do better to find someone who values their word. read more

Tires are good value from this location but the service is bad if you have custom rims. You might be ok with stock rims, but service not likely any better. I had to return for a rebalance. They over tightened my rim caps, and one broke off and was lost. They initially recommend me to find a new cap at a custom rim shop. Had they told me this before I purchased the tires, I would not have purchased their tires. Now I'm looking for a replacement cap. Awful service and attitude! read more

Don't go here. They don't care about you or customer service. I had a 9am appointment, I arrived 15 minutes early. They told me 1 1/2 hours and for the alignment. Get back at 10:30am. Car is outside, I ask if it's done and they say, oh sorry we are over booked. But you can wait another 1 1/2 and we'll get it in now. Who has 4 hours to wait for a schedule 1 hour service? Two stars only because Ken was very Understanding about my situation and did everything in his power to fix the issues. Went in for a new tires. Went in first thing in the morning on a Sunday. Got quoted for two new tires, balance, rotation and alignment. Dropped the car off and was told it be ready in a few hours. I never received a call to let me know the car was ready. By the time I called the shop for an update they had already closed. I wasn't able to pick my car up until the following day after having to miss work. After driving it it for another day the car is pulling to the left to the point my hand gets tired having to keep the car straight. Unsure if they didn't do the alignment correctly or if they even did it at all. They didn't check the pressure on my other two tires. They were already low when I had dropped it off and it was my assumption they'd check them and fill them to their proper pressure. But no. The pressure gauge on my dash board showed the same amount as when I had dropped it off. I do not recommend this place. They are untrustworthy and it's hard to know if they actually perform the job they charge you for. read more

Once upon a time before they where bought out by., Mavis. You could count on them to take care of you but no more. Don't bother making an appointment as they will not honor the appointment either way. I had an appointment for 12pm. I showed up 45 minuets early as that is the way the work day worked out. When I was checked in by Mark he said it's ok we should be able to get you out early. I said great and walked 1/4 to eat. Came back an hour later and the car had not moved from where I parked it. So I had a seat and at 1pm I asked how things where going. And the second helper said well there is still an appointment ahead of you we might be able to get to you by 2pm. At this point you might be thinking what in the world where you needing to get done. The answer an oil filter and oil change. This was my second time receiving service at this location. The first time was when I ordered tires from tire rack and had them delivered to this location. I scheduled an appointment to have them installed first thing in the morning the day after they were delivered. When I arrived they had no record of my appointment but did confirm the arrival of my tires. Hours later the tires were installed and I was thankful but not impressed with the service. The second time I needed to get my tire patched and have my brakes inspected and tires rotated. I didn't schedule an appointment this time since the first time really didn't make a difference. I arrived at 7:00. They were able to get the vehicle in right away. Turned out I needed some parts so I had someone pick me up, take me to the part store and I delivered them myself because their parts are well overpriced. At this point my tires were off and the tire that needed to be patched was not completed. Around 10:00 I was informed I delivered the wrong part. So again I had someone pick me up to make the exchange. When I returned the tire that needed to be patched was still on the ground untouched. I let the technician know they didn't need to patch the tire since he had to install the other parts on my vehicle and I would fix the tire myself. He was cool with that and went on about his business. 12:00 rolls around and they are now wrapping up and finalizing everything with my vehicle. $300 plus in labor and I provided my own parts..... but my vehicle was fixed. ** If you still decide to take your vehicle here I recommend dropping it off. Expect to overpay for parts and labor as well. There are more options available in the area to consider. read more

As an senior citizen- I went to a few places to check prices of tires for my charger- Most places wanted to sell me the best they had and were rude when I asked for lower priced tires!! so on Sunday I went to Tire Kingdom on Gibsonton dr in Riverview- Carlos was VERY understanding that I was on ss and gave me an affordable price!! I went back on Monday to have the tires installed! Mark was at the desk very polite, considerate and called Carlos to make sure I got what I was quoted the previous day. These 2 young men were thoughtful professionals! Didn't make me feel "stupid" when I asked a question, didn't try to sale me services I didn't need!!! found an issue explaining exactly what it was and showing me!! Been to this location a few times for different services. Went about 2 weeks ago to have my truck aligned and they didn't do a very good job, truck still pulled to the left so I went back in today to have my alignment corrected which they did for free. I then asked them to install some new tpms sensors in my wheels and when I asked about price "Carlos" told me it would be $40 total. So I agreed and let them do the work. It was kind of busy so it took them 5 hours to get to my truck and get the alignment and sensors put on. Then when they were done I went to pay and was told it would be $177. I was surprised due to the fact that they said they alignment was free but the rest was labor for the tpms sensors. I then asked for the pricing and was told the sensors were $40 PER TIRE. Which I was not told when I agreed to pricing because Carlos said it was $40 TOTAL. Otherwise I wouldn't have them installed. I'm really frustrated at this point and they say they won't release the car until it's paid for. So I paid and left. I then got home and my front right tire was flat because they did not install the sensor correctly and my tire was leaking air. So I went back and told them to fix it and for partial refund for the inconvenience and they gave me $10 back. This is ridiculous and will not be returning. If you do go ask for mark. Had tires ordered a few weeks ago and they were delivered in 2 days from across state. I had something come up and couldn't afford to lose my primary vehicle for a whole day until 3 weeks later. The guys at tire kingdom stowed the tires away and waited patiently for me to return. Upon returning I gave up my beloved vehicle and was told it would take a few hours and to grab an Uber (which they paid for!) I Ubered home and waited for the call. A few hours later, the call came and picked up the car. Rode smoothly and I get free care for a year! I would come here again but only to this tire kingdom. Every facility seems to be ran different and I've had terrible experiences at most. This is the first time I've gone to a TK and it was stress free and no one lied to me! . Buyer beware. This shop replaced a tire for us and purposely did not align the tire resulting in the cars pulling drastically to the right following this tire replacement. We called in and the service rep acted as though we had to tell them how to complete the tire replacement and without explicitly stating we needed the car to be aligned they wouldn't do it. We went back to the shop the next morning at which time the shop rep that day attempted to charge my girlfriend $200 for this alignment when this was part of the original job in the first place. The craziest part about it all was then fact that 3 others in line were telling us this was their 4th time in the shop and they have been having new issues with their car each time they took it in for service. The lady in front of us informed us that her tire repair went from $120 for a tire replacement to now $900 and her alignment STILL is not fixed. The gentleman next to her also had a similar experience. I didn't know tire shops like this still existed. Sad to see being that the store is so close but I would never recommend to anyone and certainly will never be returning. read more

I bought a vehicle with a faulty tire pressure monitor on one tire. They said they have an account at tire kingdom and to make an appointment and they'd take care of it. I called them and they said just to walk in so 15 minutes later I was there. A different person told me rudely that there's no way somebody would have told me that. I tried going in a couple days later and was told I'd need an appointment. I made one and arrived 5 minutes early. Over an hour later, they still haven't pulled the truck in or even looked at it. The place is so unprofessional and half the staff are very rude. One of the front counter people was arguing with another customer while I was waiting.
