Ever since I found Tischler's Market it has been the only place I go to for steaks and other cuts of meat. They have salmon, bacon, bison, chicken and so much more. I recently bought a 2 pound beef tenderloin. I mistakenly thought they left the chain on so I emailed them. Next day on Saturday I received a reply from Rick expression his concern. I sent pics so he could see. He told me to ask for him the next time I was in which was today. He came over to me and explained the different types of cuts. I apologized for my mistake and I appreciated the time he took with me. Even though I was clearly wrong, Rick credited me the amount I paid. I told him no I don't want a credit as it was my fault. WOW! Just WOW! It was my husband's birthday and he was disappointed because he couldn't see our kids, grandkids or great-grandkids due to COVID-19. Since we couldn't go to a restaurant, I promised him a dinner as good as what we would get if we went to our favorite upscale steakhouse. I went to Tischler's and picked up 2 center-cut filet mignons. When we got married, almost 56 years ago, the best advice my mother ever gave me was, "Look for bargains on everything, except meat and medical care." She was absolutely right. Though I wouldn't recommend Tischler's for medical care, I don't think you'll find a better steak anywhere. Done medium-rare, outside on the grill, and served with a salad and Tischler's double-baked potatoes. Are they expensive? Yes. Is it worth the extra cost? YES! Going forward, I will be a regular customer, not only for steaks but for many of the other items I saw while I was there. read more

Quality product and friendly owner and staff. Prices are lower at the chains but you won't get the selection and as fresh of a product. Brats are my favorite and the flavors change with the season. Tischler's is hands-down the best little butcher shop around. Their motto is "Friends don't let friends eat supermarket meat," and once you taste the delicious meats and other products Tischler's offers, you won't want to eat supermarket meat anymore either. You'll end up paying a little more, but the quality is impeccable and the prices aren't outrageous. If you sign up for their email list, they'll let you know when they have specials. My favorites are their garlic cheese bread and their stuffed chicken breasts. They have even been sold out of my favorite variety of breasts and when asked, made some more on the fresh. Great selection and quality! Unfortunately some employees seem awfully irritated! Stopped going there for 4 yrs. for this reason. I returned recently and again irritated cashier. Tischler's Meat is the best! I have gotten Standing Rib Roasts in the past and they were delicious! This Christmas I bought the Beef Tenderloin and it was amazing. The meat nearly melted in your mouth and you could cut it with a butter knife. Super helpful and friendly...obviously prices are a bit more than the grocery store but well worth it! read more

Exceptional Customer Service! My wife ordered a fresh turkey a week or so prior to Christmas. Oops! They forgot to order it. The owner got involved immediately. He was sincerely apologetic. He called his brothers butcher shop to see if he had a fresh turkey available. He did. We picked-up our fresh Christmas turkey the next day. Tischler's Market went above and beyond the call of duty by cleaning and prepping our turkey. My wife was very impressed! She simply stuffed it and placed it into the oven. It was delicious! Tischler's was a favorite before the remodel but now I find the meat quality has gone down and the last time I was there I was charged for a second pot roast instead of the 3 brats that were in the package. I called there to explain the issue when I got home and first noticed it and was told to come back to get my refund. When I returned with the UNSEALED package and gave it to the girl behind the meat counter she repriced the brats for me but had to get the manager to give me my refund of around $14. With much explanation of what happened and receiving a questioning look from him and made to feel I was trying to rip him off (I had spent $180 there the day before) he gave me "a gift card" instead of refunding my $$$. He was very condescending to me and actually said when I questioned him about the gift card "Well I thought that was what you wanted"!!!! I used the card on the spot and I will NEVER shop there again!!! Make sure to check your receipts!!!!! read more

Everybody talks about their meats, that are fantastic, guess nobody realizes the quality of people that are there. It's like going into a bar where everybody knows you and what you drink. Here when you go in they know your name and what you like. Your greeted like family not just somebody walking through the door, and this is with every person whether a first ime customer to a long time. My husband & I purchased 2 rib eye steaks (bone-in) for about $20 each. We were careful not to overcook the steaks on our grill. While the small portion of what we managed to eat of these steaks tasted good, the meat was beyond tough. We chose to buy these steaks from Tischler's based on their reviews. We come here when ever we want a good piece of meat or need something to throw on the grill. The steaks have always been great. last week we got some marinated pork chops.
