    Scallops, limit 3 per person

My first time here and I had a really good impression. The dinner AYCE price is $39.99 per adult for the premium menu. This included beef tongue and shrimp. The meat quality was pretty good. My favorite was the TK92 premium galbi (too bad it's only one order per person)! It came out brown in some parts, but I love that they came out cut into small pieces already. I love bite sizes! I also loved that the beef tongue was sliced sooo thinly. Another thing I thought was fun - they let you play a little game to try to win a free meal. You press a button that starts a timer and then you press it again to stop it when you think it's at 92. I did not win sadly. I'll come back to try it again though! Service was great. They kept asking if we were ready to order more meat. The sauces were good. The side dishes were good. I think the salad could be less sweet. It is only a 90 minute time limit, compared to other places that let you eat for 2 hours. When I was here around 7 pm on a weekday, I was surprised to see more than half of the place empty. But then it filled up around 8-8:30pm. It seems to me that you can avoid a wait by coming early. It's also a good idea to come early because the parking lot gets full.

Havent been here since covid and i think quality did get a little better since. They have a wait area where yiu can play claw machine and some arcade games or drink at the bar area. They had gdragons highball and of course i had to try both. I do prefer the black one over the red. Service wasnt too bad except the server did forget some stuff but when he saw us, he remembered. But we also had a group of 20 so it was probably over whelming. My favorite wouldve been the scallops and beef tongue. Tables are a bit small so it felt like we always had to nake room to squeeze things. Also saw a jinro frog soju machine. Since i didnt get soju im not sure if they offer it to use or if someone brought their own to use.

We ordered the Deluxe package, which is slightly more expensive than some other KBBQ spots. One thing to note is that they don't have separate lunch and dinner pricing--it's one price throughout the day. That being said, I think the price is justified by the quality and selection of the meat. Compared to the basic packages at other KBBQ restaurants, TK92 had a much better variety and the meat tasted fresh and high quality. One of the fun things they do is a timer game when you first arrive--you try to stop the timer at exactly 0.92 seconds for a chance to win a free meal! We were told that people actually do win, so definitely give it a try. They also had a great selection of sides. The Korean pancake was definitely one of my favorites. It was crunchy and super flavorful. Service was good throughout our meal, and parking was really convenient. They have underground parking with a 3-hour time limit, which is more than enough time for KBBQ. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. It's a little pricier than some other KBBQ options, especially since there's no separate lunch pricing, but the meat quality, selection, sides, and overall experience make it worth it. Would definitely recommend!

Love the vibe in this KBBQ! I came to eat with a larger party and thankfully, they provided us with two separate circle grills. When you walk into the restaurant, you can do the time challenge and if you hit the right time they have posted, they will comp your meal. We opted for the more expensive side which was only a few dollars extra compared to the basic menu. We did try all of the premium meats (obviously) and none of them really stood out to the table. The TK92 premium galibi was extremely tough and chewy. I also thought that brisket was kinda mid. The only thing that really stood out were the marinated meats. The bulgogi hot pot was kind of unexpected since it was a sweet udon soup dish. The fried dumplings were popular amongst our table! They're also pretty strict with the time limit.

Visited TK92 with my wife and family on a busy weekend and was seated after about a 30 minute wait time. There's no online queue or reservations so watch out for that. The waiting area is pretty big, kind of like a lounge with a arcade on the side, very aesthetic and spacious. Parking - Free above and underground lot, spacious overall and plentiful. One fun aesthetic about this spot is that you can play game to see if you can hit "0.92" on the machine, if you do then you get your meal for FREE, but of course it's very hard. My brother got 0.91 so it was quite close, nonetheless, a little fun experience before you get seated. There's plenty of tables here and it's very spacious between you and the other diners in the restaurant. It can get a bit stuffy with all the smoke from the grill but other than that, very clean overall with plenty of staff walking around. Each staff is designated to a specific area and they're all pretty quick. They're friendly as well which is a nice gesture to see. With how busy it is, they're always on the move and they got some of our orders wrong along with missed orders which is understandable. All the meats that we've tried were so delicious, personal favorite goes to the bulgogi, beef belly, and brisket. All the cuts were very good and not too fatty which is the best part. The bonchon is great as well, plenty of options and most of them are what you usually see at standard Korean restaurants. Personal favorite goes to the fish cake, a bit spicy but very delicious overall. Besides the meat cuts, I love their kimchi fried rice, although it used to be bigger portions and come in a Korean lunch box, now it's just a small bowl, still tasty regardless. Also love their steamed egg, super puffy and very delicious, not too salty either. Overall, one of the best KBBQ spots not only in SGV but all of California/US/Worldwide. They have so much meat cuts, many non meat options as well, great staff, clean restaurant, and most of all, very delicious foods. Happy that TK92 is still consistent and high quality after all these years.

We tried the $39.99 Deluxe AYCE tier at TK92 in San Gabriel. The scallops were the highlight of the meal. They were fresh and tasty, although they came in the shell and were on the smaller side. We also really enjoyed the steamed egg, K-ramen, and fried dumplings. The kimchi fried rice, cheese fondue, and tofu stew were just okay and didn't really stand out. As for the meats, the quality was average and not what I'd consider premium. The beef brisket was especially a bit rough and chewy. The restaurant was also a little noisy, making it harder to have a conversation. Service was quick. Overall, it's a decent AYCE spot for the price.

Attentive service, great menu selection and the atmosphere is almost like a night market but indoors. We had the Premium menu and it's worth it! Just come early on weekends, our wait was 1.5 hours. Get lucky on the game and win a free meal!

I love how interactive they are by letting each person play a game before being seated. If you hit ".92" you get a free meal. My bf surprisingly got it so he ate for free! The meat here is pretty good. I also liked the sides that they had, like the buldak noodles and scallion pancakes (they were dangerously yummy since it can be very filling!) Overall, the servers here are amazing. They're constantly checking in to see if we wanted more meat, needed a grill change, or if the air vent was properly lowered, etc. Def will be back for this affordable KBBQ spot!

Came over to try out this kbbq spot recently. They have good portions, servers came around for orders in a timely fashion and changed our grill when needed. My favorites were the green onion pancake, steamed eggs, boneless short ribs, & LA galbi. I liked that there was a good amount of variety as that is what I tend to look for in AYCE!

Few people we need more to highlight! Derek and Zachary are the best! So easy to talk to, answered all our questions, on top of all our orders, AND fun to talk to! It's one thing to have great service, it's a totally new ball game when the servers are actually fun to connect with! These two are awesome!!! Our hostess, Trelena, navigated a thousand people waiting in line AND did it with a smile! She was graceful, smiling, and carried all her work with so much patience! Thanks for your warm welcome!! Now the food! Ok, this place has an amazing lineup in their premium menu! Highly recommend getting their Boneless Short Rib, Marinated Beef Short Rib and their Beef Brisket! All amazing! We will be back! Soon!

Great ayce kbbq spot if in the 626 area without having to go to LA! We waited 45 mins for them to open because we didn't know they didn't open until after 5pm. Food was great and staff was great. It was a pretty big place. We didn't expect it to be that deep inside. They did mess up on our receipt so it was a little inconvenient to run multiple charges. But it's fine. It happens. Kimchi was off tasting but they brought a different batch. They ran out of some things but no biggie They have a button to push for a certain time and you can win a meal. So that's exciting. The decor is nice as well. Parking can be a hassle if you come at a busy time. It looks like it'll be crazy fighting for parking when chubby group opens their restaurant in that plaza. But will be back. Lovely place for kbbq

I visited TK92 Korean BBQ with my husband, and we had such a great experience. It's an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot, but honestly, it felt even more "Korean" than some places back in Korea. The interior is decorated with a Taekwon V theme, which was so unique and nostalgic. It really brought back old memories and gave us that authentic Korean vibe, which we loved. The food quality and variety were excellent, and everything we tried was delicious. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Since it's a very popular place, there can be a wait, and sometimes the servers are quite busy so food might come out a bit slower--but they were always kind and did their best to take care of us. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back!

** TLDR ** SLOW service, expect char-coated grills and avoided gazes. The only consistency is their bait-and-switch tactic on premium cuts of meat which are already limited in quantity AND their lack of attention for grill changes. - - - - - - I've long had TK92 on my list and thought it was a must-try... turns out it's actually a must avoid! Parking is by far the best part, since there's plenty of underground parking. When you enter, there is a gundam-like vibe. Reservations are allowed, but note that tables only really seat 4. It's hard to have larger parties, and you will be split between more than one table. (And 18%+ gratuity will still be required even if you can't sit at the same table.) With only a $3 price difference, it's so tempting to order the most expensive menu. The meats the first round were amazing. However, after ordering the same meats again, the meats that were very tough and rubbery. While the meats were highly inconsistent, there were two consistent things. The first were the limited scallops, and the second was the lack of service. Our servers barely came by, and our grill was often charred to the point where you could've told me it was a charcoal machine for a grill pan, and I'd believe you. Overall, TK92 easily ranks as the biggest disappointment for AYCE KBBQ that I've had in a while.

Ask the Community - TK92 Korean BBQ

Do they still have dry aged steak?

    Unfortunately no

    Do they take reservations?

Yes but only for parties 6 or more on Weekends

Are there free refill on the sodas?

Nope, they only have canned soda.

When is last seating and last call?

There business hour 4PM ~ 11PM enjoy your meal .

Are the AYCE items still dry aged?

Are the AYCE meats different quality cuts from the combo/a la carte orders?

We went on Saturday night and was told that it is the same cuts of meats as the combos.

    Is outdoor dining still available?

No there is no outdoor seating

    Is there rice paper?

Hello, yes, they have rice paper!

Is TK92 AYCE? If not please remove them from ayce searches its confusing?

They are back to an AYCE menu!

Is the price for combos, per person or small for maybe 2 people and large for a bigger group?

Small premium beef combo is $90, ideal for 2 people. Large is $140, for about 4 people, super expensive. Check out my review for this place, the price is not worth it.

Is it all you can eat now?

It's not, overpriced and not worth it imo. At that price point go to Baekjong.

    Is there still outdoor seating?

There was no outdoor dining when I went last month.

Hi is this place all u can eat? If so what are the prices. Thank you

It currently isn't all you can eat. It used to be. May return soon it's al la carte but portion can feed 2 + people and you get your money's worth. They have combos for larger parties of 6-8 as well.

Do they take tables for just one person or does it have to be two or more?

You can get a table for one.

The family set is for how many people?

varies, on how much you eat, i had four people, about 50 bucks each after tax tip

Any word on when TK92 will resume AYCE? My friends and I have not visited since the last time they were AYCE. Thanks.

No official word yet. But I would assume when restaurants fully open to 100% capacity. This al la carte method saves them time and money because they can flip tables faster. I'll ask next time I'm there.

Does this place take reservations if not how packed does it usually get?

They do not take reservations. Outside seating has around 7-9 tables. Inside seating opens after 5pm on weekdays at least when I went. Expect a 1-3 hour wait weekends depending on what time you go. It's not ayce.

Do you think you'll go back to AYCE in June 2021 when we fully reopen?

    Currently still no AYCE

So I went into my trusty Yelp and found this place. Going here was a great decision because we have been good customers ever since. PARKING: It has never been an issue to park here because if the above ground level parking is all taken, there is underground parking with a good amount of parking spots. WHAT WE ORDERED: As you can see from my pictures, my mom, g/f and I have ordered a lot of different things on the menu. Some of them are no longer on the menu, but wished they would have kept it. Some of the hits include: - Bossam with the pork belly (putting in the spicy radish, baby shrimp and garlic are a must!) - Any of their soups (the kalbi tahng and soon dae soup (soon dae only for me because the other pig parts are a bit too chewy) - their cold buckwheat noodles. On a hot day they put some soup flavored slush so keep the dish cold. - their soft tofu soup (soon doo boo). You can't go wrong with the various flavors that they offer. - Their pork neck soup - With winter fast approaching (hopefully because of this stupid Super Duper Extraordinary El Nino What I also really like is the fact that they have items that are good/catered to both summer and winter, so despite it being a blood sausage place (soon dae), they have other things on the menu that are quite good! VERDICT: As previously mentioned, my mom, g/f and I have been good customers of this place and will continue to go here. The family that runs this place are awesome. The wait staff are nice and attentive and the food are a chef's kiss! SIDE NOTE: Another great thing about this place is the fact that there are a great number of places down the street that you can go to for dessert: Paris Baguette, Old Ferry Donut and Bopo. So whether you are on a date or with a group of friends, there are options for an awesome 2-cha.

For every sunrise, there is a sunset. Unfortunately, I think that Ookook is in a sunset right now…read more We haven't visited Ookook for approximately a year or so now, and the previous time we visited we were pleasantly surprised that the food was still so good and tasted great. So since we were finally back in town, we decided to stop in to one of our old favorite haunts. There were definitely some highlights, but there were other issues that made our visit come up extremely short. We were surprised that the Yelp Waitlist indicated that there was only a 5 minute wait time on the Friday before a holiday 3-day weekend. When we arrived, there definitely was no wait and a table was drawn up immediately. After we were sat, we visited the typical sides/veggies/galbi jjim bar. When fishing out the galbi jjim, I noticed that the ribs appeared to be in a very, very oily sauce. The good thing was that at least the meat it still tasted the same. I remember in times past, I used to love their fish cake banchan and would order it several times. This time, however, the fish cake was pretty bland and cut in smaller pieces, which felt very strange to me. Furthermore, the cucumber kimchi tasted sour as opposed to the slight sweetness that I've come to expect after eating at other Korean places. The mash potato was not seasoned either and some of the other banchan from the buffet bar was also just mediocre. This was the first time that we realized that the food had definitely changed at Ookook. Our first round of meat was spicy beef brisket, beef belly, and LA Galbi. The spicy beef brisket was lacking a bit in the spicy sauce and was dry due to not being fatty enough. One of the pieces of the LA galbi was fine, but the other was very fatty. Whoever cut the LA galbi did a mediocre job because small pieces of the rib bone were still stuck in the meat causing an unpleasant eating experience. Even in spite of this, the LA galbi was the best meat of the night. Our second round of meat was the marinated beef chuck, bulgogi, and more LA Galbi. Just like the first round, one of the galbi ribs was much fattier than the other and also had small bones embedded in pieces of the meat. The bulgogi was a little light, but tasted mostly like it did before, so no major complaints here. The marinated beef chuck was an interesting cut since I've never seen it served like that before, but it felt like I was eating an imitation marinated boneless short rib with a much more gamey taste. This was pretty bad. Our third round, was more LA galbi, and spicy beef belly. The ribs were both finally meaty and seemed to be cut well and to give credit the spicy beef belly actually tasted like the marinade of old. The problem is that the food here used to be extraordinary. The banchan was something we kept wanting to eat despite it being a filler. IMO, fillers being bad is indicative of a huge issue with the quality and taste of a buffet as those types of dishes are what you want your customers to focus on eating. Furthermore, the quality of the cuts of meat were some of the best and made it very easy to choose Ookook in SG rather than going all the way to K-town. It is evidently clear that something changed between either the quality of the meat, the management of the restaurant, or something else internally that is affecting the overall quality of the food at the restaurant. As for service, it was nothing short of excellent. Literally 5 stars. The front of the house does great. The wait staff was very attentive, accommodating, and very nice. It was great to see some old faces and it was definitely the best part of the experience. To my favorite waiter/waitress (unnamed in case there's blowback on this review), service has never been an issue and it's always a pleasure for the both of us to see you! Anyway, even though it might be a sunset so far, it doesn't mean that the sun doesn't eventually rise. I sincerely hope that Ookook is able to improve their food so that the quality and attention to taste comes back very soon.

The flavor is super unique and the crunch of the wings is delicious 10 soy garlic wings ($20) The soy garlic wings are just okay compared to the honey butter wings. I didn't feel like there was as much flavor as I wanted. I like the the wings were a decent size and had a lot of crispy crunch Mayak Gimbap ($15) Unlike the typical kimbap rolls, these ones are individually rolled and stuffed with carrot radish spinach fishcake and rice. It was super yummy but a bit pricey. Disclaimer. I ordered through DoorDash which is why the prices are higher. It's definitely cheaper if you order in store.

We also tried the Sotteok Sotteok, Seasoned Fries, Chicken Katsu, Korean Street Corn, Tteokbokki made less spicy, and Gold Dust Cheese Balls. The cheese balls were a little plain on their own, but tasted much better with the Gold Dust seasoning. I was surprised by how many Korean dishes they have beyond fried chicken, including Bibimbap, Japchae, Bulgogi, and more. The kids especially enjoyed the chicken, and they even played a little pool while we waited for our food. Another big plus is the location -- it's in a shopping center with a large parking lot and plenty of free parking, which made visiting with the kids really convenient. A fun, casual spot for a family meal with plenty of options beyond just fried chicken.

The bibimbap and wings were just okay. I was expecting the bibimbap to have more vegetables, but there weren't many. It wasn't even served with fresh cucumbers. The rice also didn't have the consistency of sticky rice and was a bit on the hard side. The sauce it came with also tasted store bought. I was expecting more of an authentic taste, especially since it's pretty pricey. The soy garlic wings were good, but not the best I've had. They came with pickled radish, which was crunchy and refreshing. It took about 25 minutes to get my order, so if you're getting food to go, I'd recommend calling in your order ahead of time.
