1 free meal for winning the game heheh

I love how interactive they are by letting each person play a game before being seated. If you hit ".92" you get a free meal. My bf surprisingly got it so he ate for free! The meat here is pretty good. I also liked the sides that they had, like the buldak noodles and scallion pancakes (they were dangerously yummy since it can be very filling!) Overall, the servers here are amazing. They're constantly checking in to see if we wanted more meat, needed a grill change, or if the air vent was properly lowered, etc. Def will be back for this affordable KBBQ spot!

Came over to try out this kbbq spot recently. They have good portions, servers came around for orders in a timely fashion and changed our grill when needed. My favorites were the green onion pancake, steamed eggs, boneless short ribs, & LA galbi. I liked that there was a good amount of variety as that is what I tend to look for in AYCE!

Visited TK92 with my wife and family on a busy weekend and was seated after about a 30 minute wait time. There's no online queue or reservations so watch out for that. The waiting area is pretty big, kind of like a lounge with a arcade on the side, very aesthetic and spacious. Parking - Free above and underground lot, spacious overall and plentiful. One fun aesthetic about this spot is that you can play game to see if you can hit "0.92" on the machine, if you do then you get your meal for FREE, but of course it's very hard. My brother got 0.91 so it was quite close, nonetheless, a little fun experience before you get seated. There's plenty of tables here and it's very spacious between you and the other diners in the restaurant. It can get a bit stuffy with all the smoke from the grill but other than that, very clean overall with plenty of staff walking around. Each staff is designated to a specific area and they're all pretty quick. They're friendly as well which is a nice gesture to see. With how busy it is, they're always on the move and they got some of our orders wrong along with missed orders which is understandable. All the meats that we've tried were so delicious, personal favorite goes to the bulgogi, beef belly, and brisket. All the cuts were very good and not too fatty which is the best part. The bonchon is great as well, plenty of options and most of them are what you usually see at standard Korean restaurants. Personal favorite goes to the fish cake, a bit spicy but very delicious overall. Besides the meat cuts, I love their kimchi fried rice, although it used to be bigger portions and come in a Korean lunch box, now it's just a small bowl, still tasty regardless. Also love their steamed egg, super puffy and very delicious, not too salty either. Overall, one of the best KBBQ spots not only in SGV but all of California/US/Worldwide. They have so much meat cuts, many non meat options as well, great staff, clean restaurant, and most of all, very delicious foods. Happy that TK92 is still consistent and high quality after all these years.

We tried the $39.99 Deluxe AYCE tier at TK92 in San Gabriel. The scallops were the highlight of the meal. They were fresh and tasty, although they came in the shell and were on the smaller side. We also really enjoyed the steamed egg, K-ramen, and fried dumplings. The kimchi fried rice, cheese fondue, and tofu stew were just okay and didn't really stand out. As for the meats, the quality was average and not what I'd consider premium. The beef brisket was especially a bit rough and chewy. The restaurant was also a little noisy, making it harder to have a conversation. Service was quick. Overall, it's a decent AYCE spot for the price.

Attentive service, great menu selection and the atmosphere is almost like a night market but indoors. We had the Premium menu and it's worth it! Just come early on weekends, our wait was 1.5 hours. Get lucky on the game and win a free meal!

Great ayce kbbq spot if in the 626 area without having to go to LA! We waited 45 mins for them to open because we didn't know they didn't open until after 5pm. Food was great and staff was great. It was a pretty big place. We didn't expect it to be that deep inside. They did mess up on our receipt so it was a little inconvenient to run multiple charges. But it's fine. It happens. Kimchi was off tasting but they brought a different batch. They ran out of some things but no biggie They have a button to push for a certain time and you can win a meal. So that's exciting. The decor is nice as well. Parking can be a hassle if you come at a busy time. It looks like it'll be crazy fighting for parking when chubby group opens their restaurant in that plaza. But will be back. Lovely place for kbbq

I visited TK92 Korean BBQ with my husband, and we had such a great experience. It's an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot, but honestly, it felt even more "Korean" than some places back in Korea. The interior is decorated with a Taekwon V theme, which was so unique and nostalgic. It really brought back old memories and gave us that authentic Korean vibe, which we loved. The food quality and variety were excellent, and everything we tried was delicious. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Since it's a very popular place, there can be a wait, and sometimes the servers are quite busy so food might come out a bit slower--but they were always kind and did their best to take care of us. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back!

** TLDR ** SLOW service, expect char-coated grills and avoided gazes. The only consistency is their bait-and-switch tactic on premium cuts of meat which are already limited in quantity AND their lack of attention for grill changes. - - - - - - I've long had TK92 on my list and thought it was a must-try... turns out it's actually a must avoid! Parking is by far the best part, since there's plenty of underground parking. When you enter, there is a gundam-like vibe. Reservations are allowed, but note that tables only really seat 4. It's hard to have larger parties, and you will be split between more than one table. (And 18%+ gratuity will still be required even if you can't sit at the same table.) With only a $3 price difference, it's so tempting to order the most expensive menu. The meats the first round were amazing. However, after ordering the same meats again, the meats that were very tough and rubbery. While the meats were highly inconsistent, there were two consistent things. The first were the limited scallops, and the second was the lack of service. Our servers barely came by, and our grill was often charred to the point where you could've told me it was a charcoal machine for a grill pan, and I'd believe you. Overall, TK92 easily ranks as the biggest disappointment for AYCE KBBQ that I've had in a while.

First time trying Tk92 and it's a good local kBBQ spot. I'll give this place 3.5/5. We came here for my brother's birthday and we decided to give this spot a try. The parking upstairs is a little small but they have an underground lot. They have a nice interior space and was robot themed so that was cool to see. They had a bar in the front but it wasn't in use and seemed to be more of a service space. They had a game in the front for everyone to try to get a free meal but none of us won unfortunately, but it was fun to try. We had a decent party size that they accomodated but the tables and walkways were quite small. It wad hard to walk around and the waiter's had to walk one ways down aisles sometimes. It would've been nicer if the tables were spaced a little further apart from one another as the spaces were a little tight but it was tolerable. We gave the premium option a try and tried variety of meats. The banchan was nice and there was a good selection of sides. We tried the k-ramen and tofu stew. I liked the bean sprouts in the soup and it went well with the oily meats. My family also liked the stew. Other people got the cheese corn and kimchi fried rice and liked it. The brisket was alright and to be expected. Personally just not a favorite but my table liked it. The pork belly and beef belly weren't bad. The premium meats were nice and I quite liked the galbi and marinated short rib. The beef tongue was also pretty good. The scallops were just alright and not really flavorful but it was nice to have it as an option. I wish I had more of a stomach to try other meats, but the food was really delicious. We unfortunately had an ice cream cake and it melted a bit in the fridge but they were accommodating of the birthday celebration by providing us with plates and utensils. Everyone enjoyed the barbecue and liked the restaurant. We would likely come back one day.

So happy with our first visit here tonight. The service was great , everyone was friendly and very attentive. The food was very good. We ordered brisket , beef belly , short ribs , steamed egg , fried dumplings & some more goodies. Our family really was pleased with our dinner. Not to mention the restaurant itself is very cute , it's spacious but decorated nicely. They even have a Photo Booth and some claw machines . I would definitely come back here.

TK92 is a solid spot for AYCE kbbq in the SGV! The price is great especially for the premium meats for $40 per person. I love the meat selections which includes the premium big bone galbi, marinated beef short rib, boneless short rib, and scallops! I do wish they had more options for non-marinated meats (premium galbi and the beef short rib). The sides are pretty good here as well, my favorite is the scallion pancake! Service was quick and the servers would consistently check on our table making sure we have our next round of meat and asked if we need more water or sides. I love how spacious the place feels with the high ceiling, the seating area isn't too packed and crowded. I'm glad to have finally tried TK92

One of the best AYCE KBBQ spots in the area. Well priced and quality meats. We went with the premium meats for $40 pp and were very happy with the quality and variety of meat options. Tough to find KBBQ spots with both quality & quantity and glad that this place delivered! Excellent selection of sides too. Service was excellent, wait staff were constantly checking in to see if we needed to order more items or change grills. Good assortment of ban chan too. Loved the interior of the restaurant as well, ample seating, good lighting and well ventilated. Would love if dessert was offered here to make it a 5/5! Hope to see this spot continue with the great meat quality as business continues!

Service, food, ambiance. TK92 Korean BBQ killed it. 5 stars for a fun dining experience! The meat selection was pretty impressive. Appreciated that there were full steaks as an option in the basic package. The chimichurri sauce, omg. The steamed egg, spicy ramen and spicy tofu complemented each bite. Great quality overall. The decor was nostalgic, the music was upbeat and the seating was clean. Servers were smiley and helpful!

Ask the Community - TK92 Korean BBQ

Do they still have dry aged steak?

    Unfortunately no

    Do they take reservations?

Yes but only for parties 6 or more on Weekends

Are there free refill on the sodas?

Nope, they only have canned soda.

When is last seating and last call?

There business hour 4PM ~ 11PM enjoy your meal .

Are the AYCE items still dry aged?

Are the AYCE meats different quality cuts from the combo/a la carte orders?

We went on Saturday night and was told that it is the same cuts of meats as the combos.

    Is outdoor dining still available?

No there is no outdoor seating

    Is there rice paper?

Hello, yes, they have rice paper!

Is TK92 AYCE? If not please remove them from ayce searches its confusing?

They are back to an AYCE menu!

Is the price for combos, per person or small for maybe 2 people and large for a bigger group?

Small premium beef combo is $90, ideal for 2 people. Large is $140, for about 4 people, super expensive. Check out my review for this place, the price is not worth it.

Is it all you can eat now?

It's not, overpriced and not worth it imo. At that price point go to Baekjong.

    Is there still outdoor seating?

There was no outdoor dining when I went last month.

Hi is this place all u can eat? If so what are the prices. Thank you

It currently isn't all you can eat. It used to be. May return soon it's al la carte but portion can feed 2 + people and you get your money's worth. They have combos for larger parties of 6-8 as well.

Do they take tables for just one person or does it have to be two or more?

You can get a table for one.

The family set is for how many people?

varies, on how much you eat, i had four people, about 50 bucks each after tax tip

Any word on when TK92 will resume AYCE? My friends and I have not visited since the last time they were AYCE. Thanks.

No official word yet. But I would assume when restaurants fully open to 100% capacity. This al la carte method saves them time and money because they can flip tables faster. I'll ask next time I'm there.

Does this place take reservations if not how packed does it usually get?

They do not take reservations. Outside seating has around 7-9 tables. Inside seating opens after 5pm on weekdays at least when I went. Expect a 1-3 hour wait weekends depending on what time you go. It's not ayce.

Do you think you'll go back to AYCE in June 2021 when we fully reopen?

    Currently still no AYCE

We asked for a refill of water but were told no, and we felt rushed to leave. I understand that the staff need to close and go home, but I was disappointed that we couldn't even get a simple water refill while finishing our meal. We had to go to our car to get water. One reason we were still there at closing was that the tabletop grill cooked the meat very slowly. Even after placing around three to four plates of meat on the grill, it took about 30 minutes for everything to cook, which made it difficult to finish our meal before closing. I hope the restaurant can find a better balance between closing procedures and allowing guests enough time to enjoy the food they've already ordered.
