We wanted to try somewhere new for breakfast so we decided to give Toast Cafe a try. From the outside it looks a little run down but when you step inside it has a cool little vibe to it. The host and waitress were extremely nice and we decided to sit outside. Both inside and outside the restaurant were very clean probably because they had just opened up. We arrived around 8am and there was only one person inside. The waitress took our order and explained everything in detail letting me know it was a dairy kosher restaurant so there wasn't really any meat, only fish selections. So, my son went with eggs, has browns and rye toast. He also ordered an orange and pineapple smoothie which was very good. I went with the salmon tacos and a passion fruit and tea mix which was amazing. Overall, it was a nice little restaurant that could use a makeover. The Toast sign outside is faded and worn out. With a little more love, this could be a nice little local breakfast shop. We may stop by again but I feel like there are better options for breakfast within the area. OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros

My team and I come to Toast Café every month whenever we hit our goal, and it has become our go-to spot for breakfast. It's a kosher restaurant, which I personally love because kosher food is prepared with a level of cleanliness and care guided by Judaic laws--you can genuinely feel the quality. The portions here are generous, consistent, and satisfying. My staff usually loves switching restaurants, but this is the one place we never change. Every time we come here, the food hits the spot. The service is also excellent. The staff is kind, helpful, and extremely accommodating. I can literally text one of them to set up a table for ten people every month, and they always have it ready for us without a problem. Highly recommended. If you're in Sherman Oaks and want a hearty breakfast with great service, try Toast Café. It's become a staple for us for a reason.

Went here for one of our meetings, first off I was confused when they told me we are meeting at Toast - I thought it was the same Toast cafe in LA. This is actually a kosher restaurant so not related to the LA restaurant. The place has indoor seating and also lots of outdoor seating. Right as we sat down I observed that this is a family owned restaurant. My boss frequents this place since it's kosher. She ordered shakshuka - love this dish I didn't try hers but I've made this dish myself - was pleased how they have a little pan to serve it in. My other boss ordered the sandwich and I had the impossible southwest omelette. I actually found the omelette really filling - it has impossible meat with mushrooms, onions and spinach topped with melted mozzarella. The drinks are also good - I had macha which wasn't on the menu but they made it anyway . Our server was very nice I believe he's the son of the owner. Polite and attentive. It's definitely a good place for brunch or lunch if you're on this side of the valley. Parking can be a challenge.

Amazing experience at Toast Cafe! The food was fresh, delicious, and made with great quality. Everything came out perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was super nice and relaxing. Definitely one of the best spots in the area -- I'll be coming back again for sure. Highly recommend!

Great spot for kosher food! The place is a bit small inside, so it can feel a little tight when it's busy, but there are tables outside too. The staff is super friendly and happy to help with any requests, and the food comes out pretty quickly. Everything looked great and was really tasty.

This adorable little hole in the wall was very packed and lively. An amazing frozen mint lemonade that was so refreshing. A delicious vanilla matcha was a wonderful compliment to my fire roasted tomato Shakka omelette. Everything was so flavorful well-made and delicious. My item came out with steaming hot fresh pita bread. That was the best I've ever tasted. Love this place!

Disappointed. I'm home sick and ordered a bagel and cream cheese sandwich. There was barely any cream cheese in the sandwich???

Accidentally descevered this gem when Blu Jam's line was too long and boy am I happy!! Everything we had was fantastic! The menu has something for everyone from veggie/vegan options, amazing breakfast, the best bagels I've ever had (and yes, I've lived in NY) salads, etc. They have a large patio (for your Covid dine-in pleasure), fast friendly service, strong coffee (free refills!), reasonable prices. Definitely found my new go-to spot. Thank you Toast Cafe, see you again soon!!! read more

Had lunch a couple of times here. One dine in and one ordered out and had Postmates deliver. Ordered 2 different dishes. They have a cook in that kitchen, who has a soul for cooking, who knows flavours and what food should taste like. I can finally have tasty lunches on my work days! Thank you:) read more

A middle Eastern/Mediterranean kosher restaurant in the valley....what's not to love? To start, we had a party of 8, and they were very accommodating, as well as courteous and prompt with drink refills. Overall, great customer service. My sister got the platter of fries, falafel, and hummus. She enjoyed it, and I must say some of the best hummus I've had in recent days. I tried (for the first time) shakshuska, and the tomato sauce had a nice zing, but not overwhelmingly spicy. A definite good taste for a first timer. I would definitely return and recommend. "You won't even miss the bacon." ;) read more

This is my 3rd time here already, and it's only been 2 weeks! I'm in love with this place. The food is amazing! We've had the shakshuka, humus, salmon and pasta, onion soup, and salads and omelettes... all DELICIOUS!!!! And if that's no enough, th staff is so friendly! A special shout out to STAV, the sweetest, most personable manager. It feels like she's known me my whole life! Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE!!! read more

I heard great things about Toast Cafe and finally visited today for the first time. Large variety of great and unique options. Our shakshukah and avocado toast were delicious. The avocado toast could feed two people easily. Portions are very generous. The service was excellent and quick, even though the place was packed. Pulga was something special. We were a walk in party of 10 on Sunday brunch. After waiting an hour at a different restaurant on the same block we decided to go to toast. The service, the bread, food, coffee and attentiveness was just right. Bringing a birthday candle for our dad and singing with the entire staff was everything we needed to turn our frustrating morning around Thanks a million! We will for sure be back soon. read more

This is my favorite Mediterranean/Kosher restaurant throughout Los Angeles. Do yourself a favor and come here for breakfast or lunch, you won't be disappointed. We had some authentic dishes and finished it off with a perfect dessert :) the service was incredible and everyone was very attentive. The owner came out to us to make sure we enjoyed everything even though the restaurant was very busy This is my go-to place, I really can't get enough of it! When we arrived were greeted almost immediately. Mor our waitress was one of the most delightful persons I've met. You can tell that she had a lot invested in this place (no sure if she is connected to the owner or just a sweet person. My wife and I are big coffee drinkers, so the coffee was important to us. I ordered an Americana and she ordered just black coffee. The coffee was delicious, not sure what they brew but it was good. For food, I ordered the BBQ tofu Jewish bagel and my wife ordered the crepes. Both were out of this world. And when I say out of this world I mean it. Everything was flavorful and ht the spot. I will be back and I will be bringing a slew of friends with me! read more

Food was ok but service they need to work on....took my husband for Father's day and his order was the order they took longer the most and still got wrong! Took them too long to come by several times to make sure we were good and still took a while just to take our order.... As a I'm sorry we got a cheesecake slice on the house but.....overall not satisfied with the service, I won't be coming back. read more

Delicious shakshuka- both traditional and green! Friendly and respectful service. Ideal outdoor patio space with shade and heaters. Fresh orange juice was great and a fair price, which is hard to find in LA. Latte beautifully topped and delicious. We will definitely be back and if we lived closer this would be a regular spot for brunch. read more

We ordered catering from Toast for our client meeting. Amazing breakfast wraps, fresh and tasty muffins, fresh fruit, the works! The service was incredible and detailed. The staff and owners and very kind and you can tell they love their jobs. Outside of catering, I've been several times for lunch and the food is always satisfying and tasty. Plus they have great jazz music playing throughout the day. Will definitely continue to frequent Toast Cafe! They're the best! read more

Came this morning for a business meeting at 10:30. My client wanted to meet at Blue jam but the wait was to long. We were going to walk over to Starbucks then found this cute little spot, so we decided to go in. Our waiter was very nice. I ordered an iced sugar free coffee. My client had the Turkish coffee. Mine was very tasty, and damn was it high powered! I only finished about 3/4 of it, but i was flying high on the caffeine content! We had a couple people check on us which was very nice. We didn't order any food, but the service was excellent. I would come here again. Cute outdoor area and pretty private on the side. Parking in this area is very tough, I was still parked at Blue jam, and just walked over. Decent menu and very friendly staff. read more

I rarely write reviews but I had to for this one because this place was surprisingly outstanding and I'm not just talking about the food. I never even knew this place existed but came here to grab lunch and do some work on my computer while I wait for an appointment down the street so I had no expectations of this place whatsoever. Little did I know this would be somewhere I would look forward coming back to! The food was wonderful but most importantly their service was above and beyond. They always made sure I was doing okay and asked me how my food was and if there was anything else they could do to make it better. The cutest part about it was, when I asked to order strawberry ice cream they said they didn't have the flavor and only had vanilla and chocolate so I said vanilla will do. The lovely waiters (who's name's I forgot but one was a man with a mustache and the lady had very long hair in a pony tail) brought back out vanilla ice cream topped with cut up strawberry's and strawberry syrup. Like I don't know if thats really how they served their ice cream but for them to think of a way to get me my original order was just impeccable even if it was just a little gesture. I always look at the little things and this place definitely provides amazing service even for the "little things". Maybe this place exceeded my cafe expectations because I really had no expectations of it but I would definitely come back here and would definitely recommend it anyone! read more

FYI it's additionally confusing because there are no servers and yet they still have the workers run around delivering the food/drinks/etc. No hate at all to the workers since they are overworked and wearing many different hats, but this system just created a very frustrating breakfast experience. We were hoping the food would make up for this but unfortunately when I received my Blu Jam Benedict, the eggs were completely cold. The table next to us also had the same issue with their meals and sent back their food. Really want to give a shout out to the manager, Wilson, who worked very hard to make this experience better for us. He had a new one made for me and when I couldn't eat that one either because it still tasted off, he was able to refund my order. He was also so kind and very understanding to us throughout. My boyfriend thought his Crunchy French Toast and Iced London Fog Latte were fun and I liked the orange juice!

We let the host know that we had changed our reservation, but despite having a confirmed outdoor reservation, he still insisted that we continue waiting, even though several outdoor tables appeared to be open and available. The food and drinks were excellent, and we truly enjoyed everything we ordered. Unfortunately, the experience with the host left a disappointing first impression. We felt that the interaction could have been handled in a much more welcoming and accommodating manner. To make matters even more confusing, the outdoor tables we had hoped to sit at remained empty for the rest of the evening and were never occupied. Overall, the quality of the food and drinks was outstanding, but I hope the restaurant places more emphasis on customer service and hospitality. A friendly, accommodating host can make a significant difference in the overall dining experience.

I have never paid such a ridiculous price for a simple tea but maybe they sprinkled it with some gold dust which would justify the exorbitant amount! Our waiter, Alexis, was attentive, without being intrusive or rushing us. We arrived at 1pm and rushed out (I was late for a meeting) at 4pm. We were caught up in our conversations and Alexis, nor any staff, attempted to ask us to leave. I think we were the only people left in the restaurant. They were almost full at 1pm. We greatly appreciated not being rushed and Alexis even kept filling our water glasses. We will come back again for the great service and good food.

Look at these Huevos Rancheros with "house hash, tostadas and 3 eggs"... those are chips (I think from a bag of tortilla chips) so not really a tostada, no way there were three eggs in that thing (from what I could see)... not sure what the "house hash" is but nothing I could identify on the plate. I know a lot of people might leave a restaurant and say "I could have made that at home" but there is no way I would make something this crappy at home. LOOK at this Avocado Toast with "avocado spread"... that is some thin smear of something green but when you are calling something "Avocado Toast" there should be a substantial amount of the hero ingredient (and maybe not call it "avocado spread" on your menu description. To me, that says, "Look we don't want to call this a "rustic mash of avocado" or "Hass smash" or "hand-crushed ripe avocado" because we know you are actually going to SEE it in front of you in about 15 minutes and "avocado spread" won't lead to a major disappointment." But it did. And this slab of dry plywood that they were calling toast. I turned to my wife and in my best Sebastian Manascalco said, "Why would you do that??" This place mostly failed on food. The food at the other tables looked equally pathetic. Gotta say... all of the cooked egg components of each dish were decent but the rest of the items were like WTF? Ambiance? It's OK... I mean it was a bar with a ton of TVs going. Semi-nice vibe for a sports bar... lots of room. Just can't get over the food. We ate about half of our sodium bombs and left. But parts of the eggs were lovely... as was Kelley.

You have to order at the bar and, though they have runners to bring your food, you do have to hunt them down for anything after the delivery (extra ketchup, etc). While this isn't my favorite system at my age, to be fair, whatever the owners are saving on staff is reflected in the prices, which are absolutely below most places in the area for food that is good-quality and drinks that are generously poured. So yes, my wife's Espresso Martini was served in a deep-bellied Belgium beer glass, and my whiskey neat was a hefty pour. Yay!! For food, I ordered the Smash Burger, which is served with melted American, grilled onions and the house version of Russian dressing (as well as pickles, which I deleted). The burgers had a nice, smashed crust while remaining juicy, the cheese was properly melted, and the grilled onions had a terrific caramelized sweetness, while the house sauce was very well-balanced: ketchupy and creamy without being too mayonnaise-heavy. A very good smasher. My wife ordered the Big Texan Burger because she wanted cheddar and frizzled onions and BBQ sauce, though she deleted the bacon and pork belly that are normally included. This, too, was a very good burger: cooked to a proper and pleasing medium-rare and well-seasoned, with a good, fresh flavor to the beef. The onion rings were less successful, which are of the beer batter type, but seemed to be a commercial, frozen product. The coating was browned but not crisp, and the flavor was relatively nondescript. We didn't really eat them, and wouldn't order them again. And so, to me, The Tipsy Cow is a bit of a mixed bag: reasonably priced decent food and reasonably priced, generously-poured drinks -- but in a mostly self-serve environment that incrementally loses its appeal in relation to your age and your dining circumstances. Certainly worth a try, but you've gotta be in the right mood.

For dessert to share with the table - Butter cake - this is my favorite, with those macerated strawberries and honestly you don't even need the ice cream that sits on top because it's so delicious even without it! - Cheesecake with amarena wild cherries on top, Look I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake, but the cheesecake here is so delicious, it tastes fresh and not heavy. I enhanced the wood fired oven pizza with Parmigiana cheese, fresh crushed garlic, oregano and crushed red pepper. As far as taste, it was ok. Point of reference, being from New York City, I love thick crust pizza not the thin stuff I get around in SoCal. If I was in the neighborhood, I probably would return but there are lots of choices in the San Fernando Valley to choose from.

I was trying to avoid the traffic from the city to visit my family in the Valley a couple weeks ago so I made a post on my Facebook asking my friends if they knew of any new kosher restaurants in the Valley that I could try out. Lo and behold, to my surprise, there was a place that had been around for about a year that I was unaware of. Living in the Pico-Robertson area which has a glut of fine kosher restaurants, I'm accustomed to staying in my area and not venture out aside from visiting my family a couple times a month. I checked out their Facebook page and their website and headed off to try it. A friend told me that I just had to try their delicious crepes but I was more into having a light sandwich at the time. I tried their tuna melt on ciabata bread with Swiss cheese, though I hear it's even better on an Jerusalem bagel. It was surprisingly good! It came with a lively looking side salad which had a yummy, tangy vinaigrette. It was very filling and I really enjoyed something other than falafel and shwarma in the Valley. I came another time and enjoyed their caramel mousse cake. OMG! It totally melted in my mouth. I washed it down with this amazing hot coffee drink called "The Works". It was AMAZING! It had caramel, white chocolate and espresso.It was so good that I had to try the "Toast Cafe Special" which has real milk chocolate, hot milk, a shot of espresso topped with whipped cream and whole lot of love. :) Holy moly! It ROCKED MY WORLD!!! Next time I come, I am going to try their Pizza de Tortilla which my buddy told me was incredible. The place is very chill and inviting. They have music playing inside and outside is a cafe atmosphere with chairs and pillows. The staff was very friendly and sweet. They are open at 7 a.m. and close at 2 a.m. I don't know ANY other kosher restaurant in the Valley open that late on a weekday! They are under Kehilla Kosher, one of the most respected kosher supervisions in L.A. and are strictly chalav Yisroel, which is important for me being Lubavitch. It seems like a good place to go day or night though, if you don't want to fight for a seat, I'd go early evenings. I'd totally recommended this place and the staff was so helpful and patient with my questions. I made sure to leave a nice tip in the jar since I know I'll be coming back again and again! I was strolling along Ventura Blvd. around 1am on a Wednesday night, just me and my date, and was getting kind of thirsty. I saw mostly lights off at all the places in sight, except for one: Toast Cafe. I was surprised to see many random tables full of smiling guests, so I thought I'd go in a try something to drink. I personally love cappuccinos, but my date wanted a sweet smoothie. Well good thing that they had both. Now we could each get something good to drink. I wasn't sure how they would make their drinks, but low and behold everything was incredible! My drink had just the right amount of coffee that I had asked for, as well as for my dates drink, hers had so many delicious fruits to choose from. (She ordered a bunch). She was smiling from ear to ear, and I was glad I could bring her to a place that was open that late at night, as well as actually having good drinks. We weren't done yet. I saw a few people eating something super chocolatey and we decided to give it a try. It was called a crepe. It was just the right amount of chocolate and bananas and strawberries in the mix. We were loving it. The owner was there, and he personally added a lot of chocolate syrup and powdered sugar on top, just the way my date liked it, as well as for some amazing whip cream; One of the best I have ever tasted. We were full after the drinks and the crepe but enjoyed the restaurant's atmosphere for a bit longer. I saw their menu, boy did I want to try everything at once, but we were way too full. I recently visited Toast Cafe for the first time, and it was a delightful experience. I met with a friend who had been there many times before, and we both enjoyed our time at this cozy spot. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the green shakshuka, which was flavorful and well-prepared. My friend opted for the avocado toast, which looked fantastic, though I didn't try it myself. The only downside was that when I arrived, the indoor seating was fully occupied, and while they have plenty of outdoor seating, it was quite hot outside that day. The outdoor area is covered, but the heat made it uncomfortable for me. Fortunately, by the time my friend arrived, a table inside had opened up, so we were able to move indoors. Our server was incredibly attentive and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. We both ordered coffee lattes, which were great. Overall, I had a wonderful time at Toast Cafe. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent, and I'm looking forward to returning to try more items on the menu. I love this restaurant! There are so many amazing food items to choose from, and the ingredients are very fresh. The bagel toasts are super delicious; I order them all the time. There are new homemade baked deserts every time I go, and I always try something new. The crepes are so yummy that they remind me of being in Israel. I feel full after I eat there, and absolutely love the customer service; They are very friendly and always make sure I have everything I need. I love the fact that Toast Cafe is open really late. I love being up late and having a place to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, deserts, or coffee whenever I am in the mood. Their food can satisfy anyone's taste buds. It's a Cholov Yisroel Dairy only restaurant, and I always enjoy the atmosphere! The owner is there often to make sure all of his customers are having a great experience at the restaurant. I think this place has so much potential. A resemblance of Tel Aviv cafes which I love so much, but lacking some major things. Food- I give it 4 stars just because of how much I love this genre of food- Mediterranean salads and sandwiches are my fav. They make it pretty good, but their toasts are cold, the bread of the toast falls apart. The tuna salad has too much mayo in the salad dressing on top of what it has inside the tuna salad. Also some of the ingredients in the salads don't mash well together. Service- I give it 5 stars. The service, for me at least, was great in all 10 or more times that I went there. It's a great place to get a cup of coffee (very good!) with a delicious desert on the couches outside. I hope the owners can make the necessary changes so I enjoy this place more. read more

Ok, I already knew that this place had no chicken, no meat, and Kosher items for the most part. The deserts in the fridge looked delectable and scrumptuous and I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into a good sandwich- which was alright for the most part. But, what really annoyed me the most was the crap attitude I got from the server- I was asking questions because i did not know what some items were and it was like they were already annoyed that I was talking to them in the first place. Sorry ppl, that's not how you do business- especially in this economy, customer service is half the selling point. I was so offended i never came back. if you guys out there can deal with that, then give them a try- i myself will not be back. read more

So I came to Toast because my friends showed me pictures of amazing deserts and told me how friendly and funny the staff is. Since my girlfriend eats only kosher it seemed like a good idea to take her there for dessert after dinner. Boy was I wrong! So the pana cotta we ordered looked NOTHING like the pictures on the menu. it looked like they just threw it on the plate! Then there were the servers whom acted as if they were doing me a favor just by showing up to take our order. When I ordered a latte I got a cappuccino in a tall clear much for some reason. I expect a cafe to know the difference between the two. I am not sure what happened to the pleasant staff I was told about but that was not them! read more

Most mis-managed establishment I have ever had the misfortune to attempt to dine in. For a place that charges as they do you would assume that there would be more 2 servers that seemed to be terribly overwhelmed with people. The wait for food was minimum 30min and our order still came out wrong, which seemed to be happening at the table behind us as well. My salad looked like it was thrown togetherin the sloppiness fashion, it seemed like they recycled it from a previous mistake. The girls serving very sweet and kept trying to fix problems with a smile. They attempted to make it up to us with desert which would have been nice hadn't it been burnt. I will NEVER be back to this establishment. read more

Parking Ticket averted!! I was about to park on the side street by Toast Cafe, on my way to the Blu Jam Cafe, but the waitress rushed out to tell me that I would get a ticket because it was Thursday. Look up at the sign, me, no, but listen I did to the waitress, so we went into Toast to have breakfast. The Blu Jam will have to wait. Israeli breakfast, light yummy and a morning salad, so I got my greens in. The New York Scramble was so tasty and I had the Monster Scramble with Garlic morning "toast"/feta and avocado. A treat and a ticket averted, get it!! try it out, so worth it, save room for the desserts. read more

YUM YUM YUM!!! Finally a new breakfast place in Sherman Oaks! I ordered the Tuna Nicoise, so delicious, fresh , very filling ( for me two meals) and well priced. The tuna was amazing! My husband ordered the Chef's special Pizza de Tortilla, he loved it...it's seems to be very healthy as well. The place is so clean and cool. We ordered out, I even called to thank them for such good fare and they told me it was Opening day...I told them that they were off to an Excellent start. I am looking forward to trying breakfast! The food is okay. Some dishes are even good. I prefer the breakfast dishes over the lunch but it all comes down to personal preference. But what I will say is that the service is absolutely terrible. Horrific even. From the servers to the bus boys nobody seems to have any clue as to what the heck is going on. Waiting over 20 minutes for egg whites and toast? CMON. Then to add insult to injury you're paying a pretty hefty price to wait. You'd expect this kind of service from a cheap greasy spoon, but not from a place on Ventura Blvd that is selling itself as high end. read more

I work down the street and am so sick of the crap food in the area, so when I saw this place was opening I was excited to check it out. The place is very clean and the quality of the food is top notch. I had the smoked salmon salad and it was fresh and delicious. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and checked on me a few times during the meal to make sure I was happy. You can tell they really care about their customers and about making delicious, fresh food. I'll be coming here a lot! read more

This place is AWESOME! So much so that I am a regular. They take better and better care of me. The staff & owner are friendly, warm & accommodating. Food & service is great! I'm vegan & they have a few amazing tofu wraps that I get all the time as well as some other vegan/vegetarian options not to mention vegan chocolate options!!! Was in the mood to try something new and considering I live in Sherman oaks there's plenty of places to try. So one day I went into Toast Cafe and boy, was I surprised. Their desserts are to die for!! And above all their toast cafe special omelette is superb. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone anytime of the day. The food was delicious and very wholesome, the coffee was strong. I had an avocado toast where everything was perfect for my taste - the rye bread, the avocado and the poached egg. My husband had the house omelet which he liked a lot. The server Daisy was very patient and pleasant. The room gets somewhat noisy but they have a lot of seating outside. I was having lunch on a Friday and the place was very busy, so a call for a reservation might be recommended. read more

Had brunch at Toast Café yesterday and it was excellent. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor -- you can tell they really care about quality. The service was just as good, super friendly and attentive without being over the top. The vibe is relaxed, perfect spot to sit down, enjoy a good meal, and actually have a conversation. This was my first time at this restaurant. I live in Seattle, WA. I have to say the service was amazing. Friendly waiters and waitresses. One of which stood out more, Robert. He was knowledgeable, as well as kind. The food was exquisite. I enjoyed the distinct creaminess of the Fettuccine Alfredo. The water contained orange slices that gave a very refreshing feel to the meal. All in all I would recommend this restaurant to locals as well as tourist. read more

This place has great service. Our server Karen was wonderful. Great spirit. My complaint isn't towards the service, but the food. I ordered the Baja omelet and it was disastrous!!! It had absolutely NO FLAVOR. It also had a WHOLE jalapeño in one section of it. I feel that even a beginner in the kitchen could've made a better omelet. That had been my first time eating a Mediterranean breakfast and I am totally disappointed. Also very over priced. read more

Tasty organic coffee and tons of kosher items on the menu?? Yes please. Toast Cafe has quickly grown into one of my favorite valley spots, conveniently located on Ventura blvd just minutes east of the 405. My girlfriend seems to be stuck on the toast salad but I have been trying out new dishes each time we've come, always with coffee. Thus far everything has been tasty and I will continue to discover their menu :) read more

I was at that place maybe 3 times until I realized it's the worst restaurant there is. I saw how badly the workers were treated by their own boss plus they never get tips(whoever say they do.. Lies).
