I love this place! I have been there twice and will continue to go back. The parking is very limited and there is usually a wait. But it is well worth it! The portion side and flavor of their food is amazing. The only complaint I have is that their coffee tastes very watered down. I prefer the bolder roast in the early morning. I was really disappointed by my last visit to Toast. Despite reserving my table for 5 and arriving with 0 parties ahead, I still had to wait 30 min. When a table freed up, it turned out to be the smallest table they could fit 5 in, even though there was a much larger booth available. When I asked to be moved, the staff curtly told me it was for a party of 6. It ended up being used by another party of 5. I wish I could say the food won me over, but I found a hair on top of my potatoes. When I pointed this out, the staff tried to convince me it was a "rosemary hair." I know a human hair when I see one. It's really unfortunate, bc I loved eating here. read more

Son's favorite breakfast spot so he recommended. Hubby got French toast sampler. All was good. I'm just not a big soggy bread person. But.....I love eggs Benedict, and I can say hands down that the Eggs Blackstone was phenomenal! I haven't enjoyed something his much in a long time. The bacon on it has a kick (just enough, not crazy; I would say I'm a middle of the road spicy person). I seriously wanted to lick the remainder of hollandaise off of my plate when I was done. Recommended getting it with avocado. Our waiter said that the Reuben sandwich is great and that they slow cook their own corned beef, so next time we are in the area, it's on our list. Was supposed to meet a friend at Snooze but they went here by mistake. From the parking to the service to the food - nothing was good. Asked for an omelet with "light" onion and it was so full of nasty red onions, you could barely see the eggs. Who cooks with red onion?? The hash browns had huge half cooked slices of bell pepper in them. Tiny square potatoes with these really big strips of peppers. The peppermint tea bags smelled like mildew. The one bright spot was the orange juice - it was very good. As soon as we finished eating, they tried to rush us along. The server came up every 3-4 minutes to ask if we needed anything else. Went here on a Saturday morning. I knew most places would have a wait, saw that they had a mobile check in on Yelp and that made it easy. Arrived at our assigned time and found parking to be a problem in the area. So I got out to check in and my wife parked the car. This is a cozy small place, but comfortable. Waited about 15 mins and they notified us by text that we were up. Seated at a nice table for 5. Our waitress Lisa promptly got us some coffees and waters. She was a great waitress by the way!!! Ordered our meals which arrived very quickly. Tough choice as everything on the menu looked good. Everyone loved their food, kids and adults. I had the steak burrito which was HUGE and tasty!!! Had a bite of my daughter's French toast which was also yummy!! We ate at Snooze the day before and it was good but this place is better and a lot more unique. There is also a really quaint town to walk around as well. Go here if you're looking for a great breakfast served quickly by really nice people in a cool little town!!! read more

Was lured into trying this place by the decent reviews but it's about a step below mediocre. Every part of my 'bacon and eggs' breakfast was coated in griddle oil and tasted vaguely of detergent. The potatoes were very undercooked with no hint of crispy brown edges, only oily starchy cubes with stale herbs poured over them. The eggs similarly were very oily as well as being spongy and heavy. I opted for the pancakes instead of toast and got a plate of heavy, bland, doughy pancakes. The coffee was burnt and weak and my grand total ran to $20 with tip. It's the kind of breakfast you would expect at a truck stop or mid range hotel. There are more flavorful and reasonably priced options nearby and I will certainly be opting in their direction in the future. read more

You know what? I love the hell out of breakfast. As far as that goes, this place is simply one of the best in town. The menu is populated with many sweet and savory offerings; after several visits over the years I haven't found anything I don't love. After writing many reviews that attempt to describe my favorite food experiences at various local establishments there are times when words simply fail me. So how about this: over the course of a day I will occasionally lose my train of thought...and when I come back around I sometimes realize that I have been fantasizing about Toast's pancakes or chilaquiles. I will then sigh, close my eyes, take a deep breath and anticipate the next time I will be in the proximity of this place....or most likely I'll try to engineer an excuse to be in that part of town so I can indulge my selfish vices. If you are looking a gain 20 lbs this is the place to go for breakfast. Their food is amazing. The only negative was their location. The parking lot was small and due to the size of the establishment you often had to wait to get a table on the weekends. However with the recent move to the new building maybe this will get better. read more

Have been visiting Denver for a few days and staying in Highlands Ranch. Came over to Littleton for breakfast and was not disappointed in Toast. Had the eggs Benedict. A solid choice and enough food to share. Potatoes are especially good, bacon is crispy and flavorful, and coffee was plentiful. Decor and ambience is nice - what i would expect for a local joint. Loved the local "toast" artwork on the walls. The service was attentive, food was brought out hot in a reasonable amount of time. My coffee cup never went empty. It was a busy the day we went, but the wait never seemed to be more than about 5 - 10 minutes for anyone. Small parking lot, but free street parking is plentiful around the corner. read more

I'm not sure we'll be going anywhere else for breakfast after trying out Toast last weekend. My wife and I split the chorizo breakfast burrito. I know, how good can it be? It's just a breakfast burrito. But it was amazing! Huge portion but still phenomenal taste. The green chili was great. My kids split the Oreo pancakes, which they put on individual plates for them without us asking. So, Oreo pancake batter, hot fudge, and whipped cream? Before saying anything else, I must first give it up for "Rodney" who is easily the most entertaining server I have ever had the pleasure of dining with. The man is one hell of a Rodney Dangerfield impersonator and legit stand up comedian, even writing some of his own jokes in the comedic stylings of Dangerfield which were a riot. He provided spectacular service and literally made our morning with his jokes and spunky attitude. The guy is a friggin gem, but with a face like that... I mean come-on (ok I'll stop now with that poor attempt of a joke) As a Tennessean and pretty harsh critic of southern cuisine, I hold very high standards for my sausage gravy and the gravy cakes were without a doubt delicious, and were the closest thing to good gravy I have had in Colorado. Almost more than I could eat in one sitting, and as far as I am concerned that is a desirable trait for Sunday brunch. This place has a solid dozen menu items that made our mouths water. Toast seemed to be better before their move. Although their food is still pretty good, the waiting is what got me frustrated. We asked for a table outside which they said the wait would be between 45-60 minutes so we decided to wait for a table inside, since they said the wait would be shorter. We ended up waiting about an hour and a half for a table. The part that was most frustrating was that after an hour, when we checked back with the host, they said it would be anywhere from 5-40 minutes. I absolutely love the food and service at Toast, but the downside is that the space is fairly small, so you may end up waiting for a table if you go at lunch on the weekend. Also, it's very loud. Felt a little bit price gouged at $6 for a can of beer. Vegetarian breakfast burrito was well constructed, had wonderful plating and presentation, and a lot of sauce. Just the contents of the burrito itself left a lot to be desired. Felt something like a Trojan horse. Putting Zucchini and cucumber inside a breakfast burrito....what?!? I thought to myself, Is this a joke, who puts that in a burrito. Shame on me for not reading the fine print of the menu, but never in my life would I expect a breakfast joint to slow roast zucchini and cucumber and sneak it into my burrito. Again, no fault by Toast, at least from a contents perspective; fool me once, shame on me for not taking a deeper look at the menu. I just assumed normal, onions, peppers, mushrooms, maybe some broccoli. Rather bland taste. Would personally explore other options before going back.
