BCD dupe, minus the little fish. Good spot, standard Soondubu fare. Tried the beef intestine tofu soup. Cozy inside, family-owned.

Tofu K Food BBQ is tucked into a corner of a plaza with a 99 Ranch. The space is clean and casual. I walked in for dinner and ordered the dinner combo of bibimbap + tofu soup (seafood), and the seafood and scallion pancake. We were served a great selection of delicious banchan with our food. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Service was really attentive and quick. I would definitely recommend this spot and return!

Solid tofu spot! Came on a Friday night and no wait. Ordered the tomato tofu soup since I've never had that before and sounded unique! The soup is more of a creamy tomato soup with a thicker texture with yummy tomato's and tofu inside. Banchan also were yummy.

Delicious and comforting food. Good portion and price as well. Tofu soup was filled with ingredients, and not too salty - the flavor was just right. Ordered the medium spice, slight kick only.

Food was quite good, comparable with most other tofu houses around the OC. Service was good, staff was attentive and kept the sides refilled quickly. The kalbi was pretty solid. We really enjoyed the seafood soondubu and the kalbitang too! The TV's were just a little distracting with all the different programs that were playing, but overall a good experience. Would come again

When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a nice lady. There was AC and TVs which made the waiting for food comfortable. The side dishes were absolutely amazing, one of the best I've had a tofu house. They gave a little scallion pancake to everyone along with the typical side dishes like kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and stir fried squid. The soup was extremely flavorful, I got a beef tofu soup and I could actually taste the beed broth in it. The portion was bigger than other tofu houses I've been to. There was a lot of tofu too!! Overall, a wonderful experience and would come aga

    Dolsot bibimbap. Delicious!

I tried their beef bulgogi hot pot/stone bimbimbap and tofu soup combo, and it was simply delicious. I honestly have no complaints. I want to compliment on the beef bulgogi hot pot bibimbap, but being this is a tofu soup restaurant, I'll start with that first. It tasted exactly how tofu soup should taste. It was great and had enough soft tofu. It wasn't overly spectacular, but it was definitely grade A enough for me. Now, the beef bulgogi hot pot bibimbap was absolutely delicious. I loved how it contained everything a great version of that dish should have. It was simple, yet perfectly balanced with just the right amount of vegetables and ingredients. Everything worked together so well, I absolutely will be eating that again. The cherry on top was the price of the combo. I believe it's a dam well fair price for the business and thr customer!

Rating: 9/10 First time trying tofu soup here, this is officially my go-to now. Better than BCD.

Really underrated spot on the corner next to 99 Ranch. The place was empty, but it shouldn't have been because the food was so good and tasty, and the side dishes were great too. The server was really nice and seemed happy that we were enjoying it. Devoured all the food in 10 minutes because it was so good.

short rib, bulgogi, mandu, tteokbokki, side dishes, beef tofu soup

The food was great! My family came to celebrate birthdays and graduation today and we're glad we came here. It's quite hidden in the plaza but easily spotted with the grand opening signage. It's right by 99 Ranch Market! the restaurant is quite small in size and cozy but very clean and neat! I would love to hear music like kpop playing on speakers or TV one day The service was quick and Cindy did an amazing job, we felt very welcomed!! She was very accommodating as well. We brought some cake over from 85 bakery and she brought out some plates and forks for us we appreciate Cindy very much, a shout out to her and I highly recommend this restaurant ps i loved the tteokbokki with cheese

My coworkers and I came here for their lunch special. I ordered the short ribs with mushroom and dumpling tofu soup. The meat was so flavorful and delicious. The tofu soup was also amazing, and the sides were chef's kiss. Everything felt like a warm hug. Even the purple rice was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be coming back. The customer service was great as well.

The kimchi, kkakdugi (radish kimchi), and gat kimchi are absolutely delicious. I heard that the owner makes everything in-house, and you can really tell how much care and skill go into the food. The staff are also incredibly kind and welcoming every time I visit. Galbitang (Beef Short Rib Soup) - This is honestly the best galbitang I've had in both OC and LA. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is always fresh and tender. Whenever I'm craving galbitang in the OC/LA area, this is the only place I go. Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup) - The amount of ingredients they give you is amazing. I've had it both dining in and as takeout, and it's consistently delicious every single time. It's perfectly seasoned, and has just the right level of spice. As much as I love the galbitang, I think I actually enjoy the yukgaejang even more. Pork Cutlet (Donkatsu) - This place is known for its galbitang and seolleongtang, so I wasn't expecting much from the donkatsu... but why is it this good? The cabbage salad dressing that comes on the side is seriously addictive. The portion size is huge, there's no way I could finish it by myself. It has the crispy texture of Japanese katsu, while still having a great pork flavor of its own. I honestly think this could be considered one of their signature dishes. If you're looking for authentic Korean comfort food with generous portions and warm service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely keep coming back!

There is a small lot out front for parking, and I suspect you can park on the street when the lot fills up. We happened to come by during the Korea vs. Mexico game, and understandably, the place gets packed, with a line forming outside. We somehow beat the rush by about 30 minutes and were seated at a table as soon as we entered. We also realized then that they didn't have the all-you-can-eat option, so we ended up ordering the chicken wings, their version of loaded fries, and steamed rice. We also placed the order via the QR code. We had our drinks delivered to our table shortly afterward. The food, however, was taking a long time to get to our table. It may have been a combination of the FIFA World Cup and a staff shortage, but when we were there, there was only 1 kitchen staff member and 1 wait staff member. The lady on the wait staff did everything from serving food to accepting new customers and topping off water for all the tables. A wall separates the restaurant; there is a front room and an inside room, and both rooms had televisions broadcasting the game. The food itself was decent for the price that they charge. The chicken wings came out piping hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. They have some options for different wing flavors. The fries were also delicious and well-fried. I hope the restaurant invests in more wait staff because there were times we needed something from the wait staff. Seeing how busy she was, or sometimes she's just in the front room, we haven't seen her in a while to get whatever we needed. Overall, it was a good experience. The food was good, and the atmosphere is very unique; it's definitely a nice place to get some Korean street food when you're in the area. The only things to note are that parking is limited, food will take a while to cook as it is made fresh, and there will be some waiting to be done if you need wait staff. Last thing to note: I love that they had some Korean Fusion dishes, and I wish I had a bigger stomach to try these as well during our visit, perhaps another time!

I love that you order off their kiosk which is conveniently located at the table already. The staff was quick to bring out the banchan. To start, we shared their leek pancake and pork blood sausage. For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday. Firstly, parking here is tough. In all my years coming here, I think there was only one time where I was able to find parking in the actual parking lot. If the lot is full, I normally park in the neighborhood next to the restaurant or at the CVS (about a 3-min walk). The quality of meat here is very good. You have a good amount of options to pick from. Personally, I am a huge fan of beef belly, so I tend to order that every round. One of their items is called "Mr. BBQ" and it is very good as well, and has a great marinade. The banchan is also very good, and they give a lot of different types, more than I've seen at more KBBQ and Korean restaurants. One thing they don't have on the AYCE menu that some other places have is appetizers, but that is okay. What sets Mr. BBQ apart from other places is the service. Every time I have gone the service staff is always so attentive. They are quick to refill any banchan, quick to take more meat orders (and bring them out quickly), and very quick at replace the grill when it gets dirty. I have never had a bad experience with service here. Overall, this is one of if not my favorite KBBQ place, and I get excited at any chance I get to come here.
