I haven't eaten Togo's in a decade. I think, based on my last experience, it just didn't hit the spot. I felt like there were better sandwiches out there. However, a quick dinner one night with my friend and that changed everything. She was craving a French dip.... and how can you go wrong with a French dip? We popped in, and thankfully, they weren't busy. We each got the french dip sandwich with Chipotle mayo on the cheese bread. It is roast beef, provolone cheese, and chipotle mayo. I added onions on mine. We drove back to my girls house and dug in. Now, please refer to my picture below and check out that cheese pull! So gorgeous! It was pretty delicious. Togo's gave us more than enough au jus. I love that the au jus and sandwich didn't taste too salty. The meat comes well done, but I've never had an issue with that whenever it comes to a French dip. I used to eat at Togo's in a different location and I was so used the way they made sandwiches there. (They didn't make attractive sandwiches there.) This Togo's on Ferrari Ranch makes really good sandwiches! I like how the bread is fluffy. The reason for my 4 stars is the customer service. I tried this place a few times but the workers are never friendly. They are in the back and only come out when a customer comes in. No warm greeting or friendliness. Stopped at Togo's to pick-up lunch yesterday. This happened to be our first visit to this Lincoln location. The restaurant was clean, bright and the service staff was courteous and friendly. We selected two salads, a sandwich, and chips to go. It turned-out to be plenty of food; and tasty. The sandwich was The Italian (size small) on wheat bread. It consisted of mortadella, capicola, salami, ham and provolone. There were also crispy veggies and Italian dress. Both of us enjoyed. My salad was the Farmer's Market. Lots of cucumber, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, pepperoncinis, croutons and red onion. I asked for shredded cheddar vs the standard feta cheese. My lady ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Salad. Besides grilled chicken, there were roasted red peppers, cucumber, tomatoes, onions and Balsamic dressing. Reading the reviews there are clearly issues at this shop. The crew is friendly but I don't think they are supervised or trained. Have been coming to Togo's for 30+ years and can't believe the poor quality of my sandwich (very skimpy) today. Emailed customer care and welll the response was rather blah. Based on the reviews left here already, I shouldn't be too surprised about my experience. My husband sent a complaint directly to the owner through the Togos website this week. We aren't ones to complain to management unless it's pretty bad. We've seen a steady decline in both customer service and quality of the food for a while now (way before Covid!). We've eaten here occasionally because it's convenient to our house on a night we just want a healthier option. This week however, we felt it necessary to let the owner know that some improvements need to be made and that the customer service and food quality has been overall unacceptable. When you're a sandwich shop and you fail to put MEAT on the sandwich...or if you specifically order a hot sandwich and the sandwich has clearly never been heated/melted...you've got problems that need to be addressed (in addition to the list of everything else). Not to mention when picking up our call-ahead order the other night, all the lights in the restaurant were turned off except for a dim light above the food station...but the teenage workers were having a wonderful time in the back kitchen area...40 minutes before close. The purpose of the complaint was in hopes that it would improve the restaurant. We don't care to get free food or a discount. But at the very least, offer a genuine apology! TRY to make it better! When you own a business, especially a restaurant, your success lies in how you treat your customers. This is his response to a complaint? Absolutely no accountability and then to say he always try to make things right but doesn't think he can in this situation??? WHERE did he even try to make it right at all??? Took about 3 mins for them to realize I was there, even with a bell ring. Orders that come in from online haven't been looked at for a while, as he asks surprisingly, "pick up order?", while lifting the receipt paper from pos. We arrived to a less than thrilled employee who was fulfilling an online order and took about 10 mins to get to us. She does not hide that she seems to hate her job. As I start to order, I notice a pile of meat and cheese sitting out, not stored in the cold bins and covered in flies!! I tell her she says sorry and shoos them away once. She goes to grab more Mayo and covers my sandwich to avoid them but again, not the meat and cheese sitting out. I went to get a couple sandwiches and the employees here look so miserable... they barely speak and I didn't see one of them smile. I get being at work isn't always fun but just a little effort at general human interaction for customer service purposes would help. I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich for my husband and instead of submerging the meat in the hot water like they normally do the employees was holding the meat over the hot water and scooping hot water up and pouring it over it. It was strange and didn't heat the meat up so part of the meat was warm and other parts were cold. While wrapping the sandwich she dropped a piece of the cheese out of the sandwich and just wrapped it up without the cheese. My boyfriend and I are big fans of Togo's, but anytime we come to this particular store, theres always been some kind of issue. I ordered online a few days ago a large turkey and avocado sandwich for a specific time which was probably an hour after I placed the order when I went to pick it up they pulled it from a refrigerator and the bag was pretty smashed and beat up. I figured they would make the sandwich closer to the pick up time but from how soggy it was they clearly made it from the time the sandwich order was placed. When I took it home and opened it up the bread was completely soggy from sitting in their fridge and there was so much avocado on it that you couldn't even see the meat. Even after scraping out more than half of the avocado that was in there there was maybe three pieces of turkey if that. Definitely was not worth my money even when I showed up the store looked like it was closed and it was barely 5 o'clock employees just kind of stared at me when I walked in (I did have a mask on) there wasn't really a greeting I said hi first and told them I was there for a mobile order.
