    Short ribs

This was a great recommendation from our local realtor. Friendly service. Clean atmosphere. Nice decorations. The ramen has homemade noodles and a flavorful beef broth with thin sliced beef, half of a very fresh soft boiled egg zucchini, and veggies. Short ribs were so tender and the sauce was delightful. Golden California rolls were beautiful (avocado was a little past prime but still good). Would pay extra for real crab If available. Miso soup was warm and umami flavor delightful. Warm saki was sweet and fruity. Overall an A experience! Will definitely be back

Wow what a gem of a place!! We went with our four year old and right off the bat it felt welcoming and extremely laid back. Our server was amazing and friendly but the sushi is what gives it the 5 stars! Fresh tasting, nicely rolled, and great flavor! Four year old got the teriyaki chicken and ate almost all of it, so that's a win too!

We drove from Gold Beach to Coos Bay specifically for sushi and I'm so happy we chose this place because the restaurant itself was low light, casual and chill vibes but most importantly the sushi was really delicious and the service was fast and our server was really sweet. We sat at the bar and watched the sushi masters at work. We loved it so much we plan to visit again!

One of the better sushi spots in the area, though it's definitely on the pricier side. I recommend the Takoyaki, the Highway 38 roll (salmon and eel), and the Hot Lady roll (deep-fried). However, the sea urchin was not fresh--wouldn't recommend it. Service was good.

Tempura shrimp and salmon in a Bento box

Both my husband and I had their Bento box lunches. You have a choice of different items, along with miso soup, pickled cumbersome, a yummy green salad, rice etc. it was delicious. We were there for the lunch rush so the male server seemed very stressed and not friendly at first. However when the rush slowed down he was able to be more attentive. When you arrive the cooking staff gave us a friendly welcome. It was a clean restaurant and the decor was nice. We would definitely go again when we are in town!

Good price for the amount of food you get. The sushi is good, and the rice was very well-prepared. The bento box was nice, with well-seasoned and cooked chicken. I just wish there was more shrimp tempura--there was only one shrimp.

We were greeted upon entering and were able to be seated immediately, we did have a reservation. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. They were busy, we were there on a Tuesday evening and they are closed on Monday. Be sure to review the specials board when you come in, lots of info there. They have many choices other than sushi that are delicious as well. I have been here several times and the service and food are always top quality. They have a sushi bar and table seating. It can be a bit noisy when they are full, not obnoxiously so however.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't busy. Got the bento and overall it was pretty good. I really liked the tempura and the chicken. The chicken was really juicy and the sauce wasn't overly strong even though it covered everything. Rice was normal but the salad had way too much dressing on it. So that was the only negative.

If rate sushi a 3.7; it was okay. Not a must stop location but cured my hunger. They have good drop fried sushi rolls! Cute little restaurant and decorations though and waitresses were attentive

Love love love the food! We ordered Maui bento box, hot lady roll, and steamed clams! I can't believe how flavorful the steamed clams were! I would get this again. The server said it goes well with rice which definitely pairs well. I would stop by here again when I visit Oregon. Thank you for the delish food!!!

    Teriyaki chicken - super yummy!

The service was great, you're acknowledged when you walk in, server was quick to grab drinks and bring menus and then the food came out relatively fast considering how busy they were. My dad loved his dish, I enjoyed all the sushi. It was fresh, cold, and flavorful. Some other sushi spots locally have not been the best and so I was very happy to find such yummy food so close to home. And for a great price too. The only downsides were that the floor was so slick both my dad and I thought we were going to slip. Not sure what that was about but we watched others come in and look surprised as they stepped in and almost slipped. Otherwise, right where we were sitting was the walkway to the back area and to the sushi bar. There was food against the wall, dirty trash can and food/avocado pits and peel all over the floor. I get that it happens but it was there when we walked in and not touched as we left. I'll definitely be back, I'd highly recommend the spot!

The kids' fish and chips were a pleasant surprise--made with real rockfish, which you don't always see on a kids' menu, and it was done perfectly. Emma loved her sushi roll, and LaRue's shrimp sliders were packed with flavor and cooked just right. I went with the panko fried prawns along with the Hawaiian pulled pork, and both were absolutely excellent--crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. Even the appetizer set the tone for the meal--it was clear right away that they care about quality. What really stood out, though, was the combination of great food and great service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable without being overbearing. Overall, this was one of those meals where everything just clicked--food, service, and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back, and it's an easy recommendation for anyone looking for something a little different with really solid execution.

I decided to deviate from the phở this time and chose the vermicelli with steak and pork. My friend ordered the phở with steak and brisket. Daisy convinced us to get some sushi too, so we ordered a shrimp and crab roll. I enjoyed my noodle bowl, but I did find it a bit too oily at the end. I think they may have dumped the fried meat in with all the oil too. Otherwise it was tasty with the added pickled carrots and daikon. If we come back again, I'll go back to getting the phở. My friend enjoyed her phở. She reported that the broth was tasty. I'm not a big sushi eater, but the roll was good. Nothing that blew away my taste buds. The restaurant was busier this time (Friday night), so that's great for them!

All have been some of the best in town. I am cautious about trying pho in a new place so asked the server many questions. I ordered it and was very happy. The flavors were balanced well and the broth had a silky texture. It's a definite reorder. Though, the house lo mein is so outstanding it's hard to order anything else. It is a 6 star rating! There is a good amount of meat plus, perfect noodles and sauce!! Service is 5 stars. They are wonderfully kind and so knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. This is a fantastic place to try when you're in Roseburg!! The only negative is the ambiance isn't much. It's plain and not warm looking. Everyone is so nice that you feel happy you're there.

Food is to-go, though, you can sit at a table and eat it but it is still in to-go containers. We ordered a miso soup and sushi combination that comes with a salad, 2 tuna & 2 salmon nigiri sushi and 8 pieces of California roll. This was plenty for 2 for lunch and would be great even for dinner. The miso was ok and the sushi combo was good. The fish was fresh and tasty. The roll was good, too. I'm not especially into rolls but it is good for lunch. The salad was fresh and good sized. It came with what tasted like a mayo based dressing but I made my own with rice vinegar, sugar and a bit of sesame oil. I have to say I'm surprised it was that good. The sushi was better than expected for a to-go place. I really don't like to-go containers. I even bring my own to restaurants so I don't add to the plastic or styrofoam problem so this will be the dilemma in deciding whether to come back here. Maybe I can convince them to give it to me in parchment or in my own containers. I would love if this place would open for regular lunch and dinner service. This would be a great addition!
