CNR Yakisoba Combo
Katie G.

I stopped here after my real estate exam. I had the best conversation with Hanna, who owns the restaurant with her husband. The food was so yummy and she was so sweet. Talking to her was the of my day! Next to (hopefully) passing the RE exam :) Support small business!

Chicken Teriyaki Plate

Came here for lunch during work hours, which is most likely 99% of their business (the work lunch hour) as they are located in a business center in a mostly industrial part of town, and was surprised. For $13 I got the teriyaki chicken combo with a drink that was served in a tray so you can eat in the car (which I did) but they have inside seating as well. The person at the counter gave off the energy that she is also the owner or at least the manager, but that's only because she seemed to have a command of the space and was very friendly. The ambiance was what you would expect from a fast casual lunch spot. Quick and orderly. The food was so tasty. Chicken was not chewy, which a lot of fast casual Asian restaurants are guilty of. They even give you some edamame on the side. I love edamame. Tokyo Grill gives your tummy a Tokyo Thrill. (Ownership can totally use that slogan. I won't even charge them for it. )

Chicken Bowl extra veggies no cabbage!

Highly recommend! Best chicken bowl in the area! I love giving back to locals. The balance with the green beans and carrots is perfect. Other places don't know how to balance the size of veggie to meat ratio to ensure you can get all in each bite. I always ask for a modified bowl with no cabbage and more veggies than rice. They are so sweet and accommodating.

The food was great, highly recommend this place. It's a small mom and pop restaurant and the service is outstanding. The restaurant is small and cozy perfect for a rainy day.

First time here. Came from out of town and I must say this place is pretty good. You definitely get your monies worth. I got the orange chicken plate. It comes with orange chicken, fried rice, edamame and noodles. Oh and a drink for $10 bucks! Very reasonable and the portions are huge. I'd go as far to say that two people could share one combo. I was visiting the area but I'd definitely be back! Wasn't crowded at all and the service was friendly as well.

Paradise Roll

Wow super busy during lunch time, we all know what that means!....Must be great food (fingers crossed) and service with a smile, I see. I ordered The Spicy Ramen, (been wanting to try this for some time now) and the Paradise Roll (5pcs). I'm on this no rice sushi roll hunt ever since my other sushi go-to place went under new management and they don't have a no-rice sushi roll, Bummer. There's plenty of Special Menu deals and a pretty good menu to choose from. I see that they also have the YelpEats24, for those in a bigger rush then me. This is a great location due to the surrounding offices and Kaiser MOB all walking distance, so great for business, I'm sure. My Paradise Roll was ok now My Spicy Ramen was eh, the noodles were over cooked (at home I wont even cook my top ramen like that) and it was so hot they kept cooking more lol, also tasted watered down. Bummer. I'm wondering did I miss something, is this how Ramen this style should be? I personally wouldn't be back for the food but the staff was friendly and as busy as she was at the counter she managed to do it all with a SMILE.

Under New Management, it has been remodeled and looks great, great service, great food. We ordered the appetizer Potsticker and a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and Spicy Pork Bowl both were delicious the spicy was nicely spice but not super spicy which we loved. The prices are surprisingly low such as: Appetizer $4.99 Teriyaki Bowl each $6.99 plus drinks The owner greeted us and took our ordered and even mention that the menu has changed just a little and usually is busier in during lunch time hours. This location has been remodel and is under new management. It really shows that the new owners really care about this lovely location. Located in between an industrial and office complex on Valley View right before Centerpointe Drive Definitely recommend this lovely place. Enjoy!

Bottom: Gyoza Top Right: Chicken Ramen Top Left: Hot Cali Roll

I loveee this place!! It's a mom and pop shop and every time I go the lady is so sweet and kind to me. The food is made fresh to order and they have a good selection of drinks to choose from. Everything I've gotten NEVER disappoints. My favorite menu items are their chicken ramen, gyoza, and hot rolls, bomb.com!! I'm sure everything else is delicious these are just always my go to's.

Go in for their teriyaki chicken bowl every time I'm in town. The absolute best. The owners are absolutely kind as well.

My wife checked all the reviews on Yelp early before we went there for lunch today. Little early at 11....nobody there, the chef was cleaning the floor. We know what to order at sushi restaurants, my wife and I chose 2 special rolls, Washington and Eel. For drinks, not many choices....no Sake. Very dissapointed. We got Sapporo beer that is why. The complementary salad was served first, and our rolls w hot miso soups. The roll size is smaller, but fresh, great rice, and the flavors for miso soup abd salad were great. I really liked eel rolls. And we ordered more yellowtail roll, 2 sushi, one yellowtail and another is eel. My fave is always Eel. My wife likes Washington, she likes salmon. She really liked Washington. Melted in your mouth! Overall the vibes are casual, any typical sushi bar concept. The chef as well as an owner is using the bar for making the sushi, rolls. The space is so tiny like take out vibe. The chef was answering the phone order, making rolls, sushi, serving our foods. Wow!!! One person does multi tasks. Water is self service, the coffee is free. The menu is simple, bento, bowl for lunch, specialty rolls, sashimi, sushi. This restaurant is good for take out, Uber delivery. Lots of catering menus. I will definitely come soon for the different rolls and sushi.

Could they maybe include it in the togo order? The amazing host/server asked me what it was... a cone shaped deep fried thing filled with imitation crab? Typically, no, since it's dine in only and given at the discretion of the chef, if he feels like it. But she was super nice and we tipped regardless. When she returned with our order, she said she threw it in there for us. No way? And she even wrote us a note on top of the box "Have a good night! Enjoy :)" I love her so much! And especially the sushi chef in the back, who wrapped our rolls with love. I did feel like there was a little more rice than I would like but honestly it was gone in minutes and everything was as fresh and lovingly arranged as I remember. It filled us up super efficiently and I do appreciate having a solid sushi spot for a decent price and consistently amazing service. It always smells soooooo good inside. Thank you!

Love coming here! I've been back quite a few times since my last update, and it's nice to see that…read morethe service has continued to improve. I'm also glad, but maybe just a little sad, to see that the restaurant has become more popular. On some visits, there's now a short wait 1-2 parties, and sometimes, there is even 5 parties, which is great for them... but it probably means I'll have to start waiting longer in the future! The staff is still friendly and accommodating. Every now and then, there might be a small mix-up with an order, but they've always been quick to fix it, and it's never been a big issue. I usually visit either before 5 p.m. or after 8 p.m., so I can typically avoid the dinner rush and get seated without much of a wait. The sushi is still consistently fresh, and that's one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Even during busier visits, the quality has stayed the same, and the food comes out at a good pace without feeling rushed or overwhelming the table all at once. Overall, it's great to see this place continuing to improve while maintaining the quality that made me a regular in the first place. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Biggest con is that my 8 and 9 year old count as adults cause of their height. Otherwise, this place has an amazing array of sushi and other foods. Nigiri was a decent size. Not huge but at least not the thimble size pieces at some places. They have noodle and rice options and spam musubi which was the biggest deal for my kids. They have a list of premium items that you only get to order one per person. Although they weren't mind blowing, it was pretty good. Service was great. We regularly received water refills, plates cleaned up and our food came out pretty quickly. Interior was open but if you sit in the middle tables you're right next to the other table. They have a little partition but you can hear all of their conversation. I'm sure this place will become packed but when we went on a Friday evening, there was no wait so 10/10 for that.
