Sat at the bar. Had fast service. Was in and out under 30 minutes. Also had Themis soup, not pictured. Found it randomly at the grocery store next door. Glad I stopped in!

Been here many times and thought I had left a review before. Food is always good here and it's just an enjoyable place and always has good service. This is a solid 4 star in my experiences.

Love the lunch special! I always get the showdown special - two rolls and a soup (I always ask for salad instead) I also like the tuna tower. The service here is great- good little sushi spot, nothing too fancy.

Not impressed with the food. Kinda yucky.

Not at all what I expected. The dinning area is pretty. The ladies restrooms are mighty impressive. They have areas for men and woman to make diaper changes for their children. This was actually the only thing I found good about this place. The bathrooms are super clean! Oh and the pretty tables and seating. I was exploring the area (Argyle, Bartonville, and Lantana) and this was all I could find that might have sushi. I love Sushi! Not impressed. The food was gosh awful. The taste was really off! I almost never leave food, but this time I did. I left the majority of my sushi rolls. (Not after first destroying them so they couldn't put them on someone else's plate). Service wasn't any better. I couldn't even take them home as leftovers because they were that gross. No amount of ponzu sauce or wasabi could save those rolls. I'm 100% sure I will never go back. 42/2019

No complaints at all. Steak was tender. Rice wasn't over salted. Veggies - we asked for no soy sauce. Enjoyed summertime and rock and roll rolls. So yummy. Weekends are dinner entrees all day long (no lunches) but do have lunch hours. Staff was sweet and friendly. We definitely will return.

We just finished lunch here--four specialty rolls and they were all spectacular. Been looking for good sushi in the area and Tokyo Samurai nailed it. We'll definitely be back!

Everyone was really nice, the fillet was amazing, and the price is very reasonable for Hibachi.

I ordered it with the chicken and just requested that they didn't do the teriyaki (since it was not gluten free) and just had them cook it normally and it was delicious. I will say that the soup and salad that you get at the beginning of the meal required some modifications. No dressing on the salad (it contained gluten) along with the soup being changed to just broth because the miso came with noodles in it. Overall the staff was so kind and patient with my questions and needs.

Just after 1. We had the pleasure of being to only ones seated at the grill, so got a private cooking. We ordered off the lunch menu. I got the NY Strip and Shrimp, my wife got the Teriyaki chicken. Both upgraded to fried rice. The cook was friendly and cooked the food to our liking. We also got the tempura shrimp and veggies appetizer, along with a caterpillar roll. LOTS of food for the two of us. Price is reasonable and staff were all friendly. We will happily return!

Saturday lunch found us at the newly opened F&F right down the street from us…read more Super simple fast-serve hibachi concept. You can order combinations as you like, including a bunch of pre-created entrees. The breadth of options is pretty good ranging from a chirashi sushi bowl; bibim bop bowls; galbi; shrimp and chicken. It's like a street vendor feel in a small restaurant space. It's a smaller place and the 5-6 tables. There's also high top seating around the glass to add a few more chairs. But the spaces filled up quick during lunch and I can see it being a bit crazy at peak times. One treasure I found was a side order of Kimchee ($1.49) to add with your meal and I will tell you I'd go back just for that. My entree was the Bibim Bop for $12; wife got the chicken and shrimp for $15 and my daughter got the poke bowl for $13. We also got some gyoza dumplings (4) for $2.49. Side of white rice and a fountain drink go for $2 each. They also give you the two sauces with the meal just like the full-service hibachi places. The Bibim seems to be a little lacking in the protein. Could have used a little more bulgogi in there I thought instead of being overloaded with other items. My daughter's bowl, the fish, seemed to be clean and tasty albeit a very simplified version. My wife's was the biggest disappointment of the day as the chicken was dry, which isn't surprising since chicken always seems to be hard for hibachi to be tender. Shrimp were good, with tail on. I thought the noodles my wife ordered with it were ok as well. You can't go to this chain, quick-prep place and expect super high-end but for a quick stop and a pretty decent representation of hibachi styles it more than holds its own. It was just under $60 with tip and so I wouldn't call it a steal of a deal either. But I'd say fair value and fast service. Do yourself a favor and try that side of kimchee. Wish them luck with the new location opening!

Leaving 1 star only because 0 stars isn't an option…read more My boyfriend and I dined here today for Father's Day. The food itself was actually very good--we ordered sushi and hibachi steak and enjoyed both. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. After being seated, we waited 10-15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or brought us drinks. Once our food arrived, the server immediately walked away without asking if we needed anything else. We never received yum yum sauce, so my boyfriend had to walk up to the sushi station to ask for it himself. While he was there, he saw our server sitting behind the sushi station eating instead of checking on tables. By the time we finally got the sauce, I was already thirsty from the soy sauce and had finished my drink. I placed my empty cup on the edge of the table, but our server didn't come back for at least another 10 minutes. A hostess eventually noticed and kindly offered me a refill. The next time our server came to the table, it wasn't to check on us--it was to drop off the bill. We were never asked if we needed anything else or if we wanted dessert. Then came the biggest issue. When we looked over the bill, we noticed an automatic 20% gratuity had been added for our party of two. The menu clearly states that a 20% gratuity is only added for parties of six or more. When we questioned the server, we were told management had added a 20% gratuity to every check because it was Father's Day. Our subtotal was about $80, but the final bill came to $103 after the automatic gratuity. I'm not even sure whether the gratuity was calculated before or after tax, as nothing was explained or disclosed beforehand. I spoke with the manager, whose only response was, "I'll talk to the server." There was no apology, no effort to correct the situation, and no explanation as to why the automatic gratuity was not disclosed before we ordered. Customers should be informed of mandatory service charges in advance, especially when they differ from the restaurant's stated policy. Had I received this level of service without the forced gratuity, I certainly would not have chosen to tip 20%. The food deserves praise, but unfortunately, great food can't make up for terrible service and an undisclosed automatic gratuity. We won't be returning.

The menu has a pretty wide variety of dishes including some unique rolls. And, there's a full bar. All that, along with mostly positive reviews, had us anticipating an enjoyable meal when we showed up on a Saturday night. Ultimately though, the service would be the most memorable part of the experience, and not in a good way! Our group of 5 ordered a total of about a dozen different dishes and every single one took F O R E V E R to come out. Whoever said that good things come to those who wait wasn't talking about this place! All the food turned out to be unremarkable. In other words, it was quite average. I also want to mention that we were never checked on or given refills on our drinks while we sat for so long twiddling our thumbs. Now this situation may have been more acceptable or at least understandable if it had been busy, but there were only a few tables occupied the entire time we were there and plenty of staff on hand. So, I really don't know what the excuse was. This is one of many sushi restaurants in the area which means its a very competitive environment. Given that, I doubt I'll be back anytime soon, if ever.
