I will not EVER, EVER go here again. One and done. Went with a friend to get take out during covid19. They put zero vegetables in chicken fried and the shrimp fried rice. They forgot to make my friend's spicy and took it to the back and poured sriracha sauce in it. We got it back and tried it and called to have them remake both. My friend asked to talk to a manager on the phone and they said there wasn't one there that night. .(We found out later the owner was!i) They swore there were vegetables. I asked them to show me when they got there. They said we could'n't see them because they were chopped so microscopic. We also couldn't see the egg because it was chopped too fine to see. WHAT??????????????????????? INVISIBLE VEGETABLES. The guy who told me he made it was searching my rice for evidence of a vegetable - not kidding. At one point, they even tried saying that when we ordered, we ordered mine without vegetables. Really? Really. The man my friend was talking to started screaming at her saying he was the owner and he didn't care if we came back. They argued on the phone, in person and screamed at her because they made horrible food. $30 for two orders and IT WAS AWFUL... BOTH TIMES. THE VEGETABLES ARE TOO CHOPPED TO SEE. The chicken fried rice had hardly any vegetables. Every so often you'd see teeny tiny bits of a carrot, or some green vegetable and a little onion. Not much flavor without adding soy sauce. The miso soup was just so so and my house salad was just lettuce with a small slice of cucumber with some very runny dressing. Won't be going back. read more

I think this is a chain restaurant. I had the Edamame in a spicy sauce as an appetizer. They were very tough and "stringy". The spicy sauce had a kick to it and was good. Vegetable tempura was a little greasy. I had the sirloin steak with teriyaki sauce on a bed of mixed vegetables. I ordered without rice so they gave me more vegetables. The steak and sauce was ok. The mixed vegetables were delicious. Service was excellent. I was disappointed that they did not have panko battered pork chops. It's a national dish in Japan. Will probably not return. read more

I am so excited to find this place and it's double exciting it is right by my home! I came in to kill a little time and sat at the bar as I wasn't wanting dinner. I ordered a lemon drop and an order of spicy edamame. It was pleasant sitting at the bar with a tv and I would do this again. The edamame may be the best I ever had! It is spicy but I couldn't get enough of this hose flavors! Absolutely amazing! I asked for the lemon drop on the sour side and he was able to deliver as requested perfectly. As I finished my edamame, he brought me a glass of ice water without me asking. Way to go barkeep!! The service was great and the people made good eye contact with smiles. I will never go here again. I ordered a side of steak for $11, picked it up and walked back to my work near their building to look inside and find about 8 small cubes of steak. I proceeded to walk back and explain my frustration for paying $11 for a spoonful of steak and the lady working the front told me that's just how they do it. She made no effort to give me more food after I expressed my frustration with the situation, she had an attitude, and she proceeded to take my food from me and refund my card. This business does not put their customers first and they are money hungry, petty thieves. This is just my story. My coworkers have experienced this as well and have even called and asked for refunds and they stated they won't refund their meals because they have already refunded mine. Hibachi Chef was great, service so/so.... Hibachi chef was talkative, great conversation from the hibachi chef but here is what got a little sloppy. There six of us in our group and the neighboring table had six individuals too. We were told that we had to pay gratuity and they weren't. In fact, they didn't get charged gratuity on their bill and I did. Hmmm. Most average to above average places are somewhat decent at proactively refilling drinks and bringing side items. My wife and I went here after moving to the area. The interior was tasteful and small. Was semi busy, but the noise inside was very low. We ordered soup and sushi, can't remember which rolls but it was amazing. Very fresh, very great flavor, the choices were amazing. The staff was friendly and greeted us when we came in and all said bye when we left. I often grab sushi on the home and now have a go to spot. Can't wait to take my kids to the hibachi. read more

Now its a different place, the second time you go there they recognize you and make you feel like your part of their family. Food is fine. The service is TERRIBLE. We arrived and waited at the hostess area. Waited some more as a couple ahead of us left b/c they had been waiting to be greeted and nobody said a word to them. Great Sushi! The workers there are super nice and the place has such a comfortable vibe.

This used to be our favorite place that we frequently visited for dinner spending around $150 each time. The last two times we are their the chefs burnt our food. The good chefs that used to work there are no longer there. We are super bummed because Tokyo Samurai is very close to our house. The second time we ended up with burnt food and a lemon drop that tasted like turpentine we brought it to the attention of the owner who was counting money at one of the tables in the dinning room. She didn't seem to care much and said she would give us a future discount instead of offering to make our food right. Well; there will be no next time. We have had enough burnt food and under drinkable lemon drops. We wish they would hire good chefs again because we would be willing to try again. read more

We came as a family to celebrate my kids birthday. He wanted hibachi and some of like sushi... you can get both here. Which is good enough. For a Japanese restaurant that does recognize a birthday person, they should have done a happy birthday action in Japanese. Maybe a drummer or kimono wearing person saying Otanjōbiomedetōgozaimasu... or even Naruto bringing a cake surprise! Adding sparkcelebration will bring in more groups. Our meal was very good. We had the filet and lobster teppanyaki and my son ordered the chicken teppanyaki. The only issue we had when the check arrived is we used a coupon expecting that my wife's meal would be 50% off, but they took 50% off my son's kids meal instead which is much cheaper. This place is incredible! The staff is attentive, knows our family and order by heart, and is even up for the challenge to create custom rolls. We eat here several times a month and there aren't many places our family frequents like we do here. Some of our favorites are the lettuce wraps, tempura green beans, agedashi tofu, miso soup, spicy garlic edamame, panic roll, firecracker roll, "Lisa's roll" (that's on the hidden menu!), anything hibachi, and the green tea! Lunch visit today and one server. He was working hard and did a fantastic attentive job from start to finish with about 5 tables of two or more except for me, plus take out orders. The food was out quickly and was correct per my order. The problem was oil. I ordered noodles and I've never seen noodles with this much oil on them in my life. The egg rolls were also not very good or fresh. But overall the main issue was oil. I literally poured 6 ounces from my plate into my soup bowl of just oil and that was not all there was.
