I love Tokyo Express Sushi! I work just down the street and frequent this place all of the time. Although I have had several items on the menu, the veggie udon soup is my favorite! It's fresh, healthy, and served piping hot. The noodles are cooked perfectly, and there's always an abundance of veggies. The veggies are cut rather big (probably used for tempura also), but I don't mind because the food is so yummy. The customer service is top notch too! First off, the facility is clean. The person behind the cashier was as friendly as can be, considering it was near closing time. He kindly helped my girlfriend and I pick an entree. Friendly, kind staff. Food is great especially for their price, healthy and not loaded with salt and extra spices to mask quality of food/produce. Their sashimi/ seafood always has that nice fresh texture, flavor, and smell. Dining area is kept pretty darn clean and the decor gives a nice balance of casual and sophistication. Not to intense and not to basic, also well lit. A hidden jewel in the area if you ask me. Really friendly people, although the wait is long so I always call in ahead to order in advance. It is a little expensive, considering the area. Some of the rolls are only okay. Don't try the dragon roll or the philadelphia roll, it isn't very good here. Horrible place, not only was the lady at the cashier rude, she had an attitude, never informed us the order was ready until everything was cold. We ordered among many items the combo#12 which is supposed to be a salmon fillet, it was literally paper thin. The cashiers response to our inquiry "yeah well salmon is very expensive" .
