    Inside cream cheese raspberry chimichanga

Very tasty Mexican food served here! I'm glad Bellevue has a spot like Toluca. It is much better than Chipotle or Taco Bell, that's for sure. They even have a drive through for your convenience, and the prices are very fair. I tried their cream cheese and raspberry chimichanga dessert and the chicken quesadilla. Both of these items were pretty good, especially the quesadilla. The size is quite large and the portion was more than ample. Great price too. They really load the quesadilla up with tons of cheese, which I definitely appreciate! There are onions included within the quesadilla, which I did not see listed in the ingredients on the website. No lettuce or other veget though. Chicken had a good texture and flavor, but seemed to be dark meat. A bit oily, but crispy and delicious. Very good overall. The chimichanga dessert seemed unique to me (as opposed to their other offerings like churros or rice pudding), so I gave it a try. Not that great. It may have not been homemade, since it was served in a packet labeled by a Mexican food manufacturer. Not bad though, just not very flavorful. Maybe try the rice pudding instead. Price is one again great, but the portion is decently small. All in all, I am definitely satisfied with my order and am happy to see a small business Mexican restaurant in Bellvue. Food quality seems pretty high, and portions as well as prices are excellent. The flavors are there too. I recommend the quesadilla.

I stopped by here earlier today for dinner. My wife and I had ordered online as per their website and I received a text letting me know that they have received my order and it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived to the restaurant 30 minutes later and they told me that they hadn't received it yet and after doing something to a machine, it printed out. So as you can imagine I was not happy to start out with. The inside of the restaurant consists of 4 - 4 tops and 4 - 2 tops and a place to order. Their menu is above the cash register and they have a sign noting that they are not a fast food restaurant and that they prepare the food as you order. I can appreciate that, but even with twin 4 month olds at home and the order not happening being their mistake, they still didn't expedite my food and it would take another 15 minutes of waiting to get my order. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with a chicken burrito while my wife went with a chicken enchilada and then we decided to split a steak nachos and a sopapaipilla. I started out by eating my chicken burrito which was big and hefty. The inside consisted of shredded chicken with pinto beans rice and a little bit of a sauce. Due to that, it ended up being somewhat dry to me and I was sad that there wasn't any cheese in it. It also didn't look like the picture on their website which had cubed chicken, bell pepper, onion and cheese. After I had finished that, I was able to try 1 of the 3 of my wife's chicken enciladas. I enjoyed the flavor of it with the sauce and cheese over the top, but once again it was a bit dry. Finally after all of that I started on the nachos which was a rookie mistake. Between the time it took to get them home and eat the other food, the chips were soggy from the cheese. That one is totally on me though! As for the nachos themselves, I thought that they were good as I enjoyed the shredded steak with the nacho cheese as well as the spicy jalepenos. Last but not least was the sopaipilla which my wife and I were excited about since you don't see it much in Western PA. This sopaipilla had the usual powdered sugar on the outside of the dough and came with maple syrup instead of the honey we are used to. The powdered sugar lended some sweetness and the maple syrup actually ended up working for me in place of the honey. Overall it was a pleasant ending to the meal. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. You really can't beat the amount of food you get for the price. However the missing of my order, especially with the confirmation text was not great and I wish the photos were a little closer to the actual food items. What I do love is that it felt like a mom and pops shop and so i do hope they succeed.

Recently moved to Pittsburgh from CA and have been really, really missing good MX food here. I'd driven by Toluca a few times and just decided to stop in for lunch with my boo today. I ordered a steak burrito and my honey ordered the chicken. Wow! So glad we stopped. Everything was delicious!!! The owners were very friendly and gave great service. The meats were so tender! And the presentation was beautiful. Delicious sauces! Will be back soon!

The dry ramen bowl was very good and came with a generous portion of chicken. They weren't able to add the fried egg and substituted a boiled egg instead, which was a little surprising and not what I had preferred for this dish, but the dish was still flavorful and good. The Texas burrito bowl was excellent -- fresh guacamole, steak, chicken and shrimp, and really great flavor throughout. Between the unique setup, the ability to order from two different restaurants, and the solid food, this is a fun spot that's definitely worth checking out!

Instead of seating me, the employee pointed at a menu and told me to order. I started giving her my order, but she walked away in the middle of it and had another guy take it on a handheld device. I paid right then and there, which seemed a little odd for a sit-down restaurant, but I didn't think much of it. My chimichanga came out in what had to be three minutes or less. It was so fast that I couldn't imagine it was freshly made. Unfortunately, it tasted just as disappointing as it looked. It was incredibly bland and had an almost chemical taste to it. I kept trying another bite, hoping it would get better, but it didn't. I finally gave up after just a few bites. The restaurant itself didn't help my appetite. The silverware looked dirty, the music was blasting, and the whole place just felt grimy. While I was eating, an older couple came in to order takeout. They were told they could only place an order online. The woman looked at me and said, "I guess we can't eat here then because I don't know how to do that." I ended up bringing the rest of my meal home, and my 16-year-old son ate it. Over night, he became terribly sick with severe gastrointestinal symptoms that we believe were food poisoning. He's never experienced anything like that before. I only ate a couple of bites myself, and looking back, I'm glad I stopped when I did. After all of this, I looked up the restaurant and saw that it had received a health inspection score of 80 not long ago. I've rarely seen a score that low, and after seeing the conditions inside and what happened afterward, it made me even more concerned. Needless to say, we won't be back. This was a really disappointing experience from start to finish, and I would encourage anyone thinking about eating here to do a little homework first.

I was expecting it to be more of a casual taco joint, but it was far from it. The interior is modern, with a lot of warm lighting and elegant decor. We got there on a Friday around 1:30 PM, 30 minutes before they closed in preparation for dinner. Fortunately, the service was quick, and we were in and out within 40 minutes. TACOS DE SUADERO (3) - 14 Each taco contained a fair amount of beef brisket in each one. However, the beef was pretty dry and not the most flavorful. Probably our least favorite out of the tacos we ordered. TACOS DE AL PASTOR (3) - 14 Definitely more of a modern twist to tacos than traditional. I felt like there was more pineapple flavor than al pastor in these al pastor tacos. These were okay at best. GUACAMOLE Y TOTOPOS - 15 I actually really enjoyed this appetizer. They gave us plenty of guac, which was creamy and lightly seasoned. The totopos were super thick and crispy (also not too salty), and we got an extra bowl of them without charge since we had so much guac leftover. We also got an order of TACOS DE ESTILLO BAJA, which is crispy shrimp tacos. I didn't try one since the salsa and pico de gallo all had plenty of cilantro mixed in, but my friend thought these were the best tacos out of the three we tried. Duolingo... How are your tacos just as pricy as your subscription? Each taco could easily be finished within 2-3 bites. Besides the guacamole y totopos, I personally didn't think the suadero or al pastor tacos were worth getting.
