Terrible experience here 2 times in a row. The first time I came, my husband and I waited 30 min in the drive thru just to get VERY undercooked breakfast potatoes with our meal. We are understanding people so we decided to give this place another chance this morning since they were still pretty new during our last experience so my husband and I ordered our breakfast 30 min in advance over the phone so we could get home in time for football and eat our breakfast. We drove through the drive-through line since there were only two cars in front of us and we STILL waited 20 minutes in the drive thru aside from already waiting patiently at home for the food to be ready. When we finally got to the window, the girl gave us our coffee (with no cream or sugar) and asked us to please go park somewhere because our food was not ready yet. At this point it had been close to an hour waiting for our food so we were livid. When an employee finally came to our car to bring us our food she said "cream and sugar is in the bag too". Our coffee was not hot at this point and she could have given that to us at the window so we could drink our coffee while waiting for our food. I write this review in hopes that this place really does get better but my husband and I agreed we will not be coming back here. read more

This is our new favorite place when we are in Chino. The menu is large, and everything we've had has been delicious. The cook was a fun guy who brought our food out to us himself. All the employees are very nice and friendly. They go out of their way to give us a great experience. The restaurant is clean and there is a cool little robot that delivers the food sometimes. I really enjoy going here for breakfast. Delicious food and great service. They always have someone checking on coffees and to see if anyone needs anything, so it's almost like a diner feel. You order at the register and then sit down to eat. It has a family friendly feel. Skip on this place. They frequently skimp out on items listed on their menu. Went and ordered 2 super asada nachos, bean and cheese burrito, chicken strips and ham breakfast burrito. No guacamole on either of the nachos, although menu indicates it should have guac. Also was add to have beans... neither of the nachos had. There was no discount on our order or substitution if they were "out". Not possible on the beans because beam and cheese burrito had the beans. Get home and see the mistake. As a customer I feel cheated by this business. Save your money and spend at a reputable restaurant. They scam people out on what they order. read more

I never really write reviews unless i had over the top service or really poor experience. Let me start off by saying that i have been coming to this Tom's since they first opened. For a very long time they have always been very tasty never ever had any issues. However I have noticed a few things.. the service has declined significantly everything seems like a bother along with the wait times especially in the drive thru.. each vehicle takes minimum 10-15 minutes they take absolutely forever. Lastly I used to live in Chino when they first opened however I moved to Rialto about a year ago so if i'm really craving it my bf and i will literally go all the way to this location for their burritos which is what we usually order - it's nothing crazy it's just your standard steak burrito now i am writing this review because in the last year i have drove from rialto to chino for their burritos which i once absolutely loved but the photo attached is how i got my burrito tonight - the reason for this review is i've gone 3 times within the last 3-5 months and each time this is what my burrito looked like.... They are becoming very lazy and stuff the burrito with beans and the steak was flavorless and tasted like 3 days old it was almost pale and in chunks which is not fun when eating a burrito.... I was going to call them tonight but they are closed now so I will be calling tomorrow.. again i rarely write out a whole review but cmon this is absolutely terrible and waste of money also we were given only two salsas barely filled up for two huge burritos.. 0/10 tonight very disappointed... to the cook who prepared this and still decided to give it to a customer is sad.. *** ZERO STARS IF I COULD *** read more

Food is not good enough to put up with the service. i ordered a texas burger combo, an avocado bacon cheese burger with the bacon on the side, small zucchini sticks and a small chili cheese fries. The forgot the chili cheese fries, somehow added a side of bacon which they charged me for and kept the bacon on the burger (my wife hates bacon and is one of those that wont even eat the burger if the bacon touched it so that was a waste). This was a to go order and I did not notice the mistakes until I got home. I only live maybe 5 miles from the place so I called and they said come back they will have it ready. I typically wouldnt but its all my wife would eat since the bacon touched her burger (she is crazy I know). So I get there and there was only 1 car in the drive through but forever reason it took 30 mins. What really pissed me off was the girl said she threw in a fork in the bag for my trouble smfh..... wont be going back, there are many similar places like superchiliburger, bravo burger and the patio grill just down the street. read more

I ordered bacon and eggs both times and the bacon was rubbery and cold like it had been sitting awhile and the potatoes were cold. I don't know what it is that they can't just serve you warm food. 1st time at Toms and had a great experience. My husband and I woke up this morning wanting a good breakfast so we tried out Tom's. I ordered the strawberry French toast breakfast and he ordered an off menu breakfast burger. Both of our meals were delicious and the service was great we appreciated how accommodating the cooks were and we were checked on several times. The restaurant was clean and very well maintained. I decided to give this place a try for dinner. However, when I arrived, and I saw the menu there were so many options. They have full options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ended up ordering a breakfast and it was delicious. The service was outstanding. The food was quality and it did not take very long at all. It really was good service. They made the bacon just perfect, just as I had ordered. When the server came out with the food, she brought it on a robot type machine. I found that to be very interesting. But it was actually really nice. The server constantly was checking on me to see if I needed any refills of coffee or anything else. They were very responsive to any questions or requests that I had. I was craving steak and eggs ($13.99) and chose to get two sunny side up eggs, toast, and home fries. The steak was tender and cooked medium to my tastes. The eggs were hot and runny with the toast crispy enough to dip it into the yolks. The home fries were with pieces of chopped green bell peppers and onions. Second time here. First of all, the staff is really great. While we were eating, the staff came by several times to make sure our drinks were filled and to check if we needed anything. This was during a nearly full room during lunch on a Sunday. The lunch was great. I got the patty melt, and it was one of the best I've had in a while. The shrimp basket was inedible--the batter and shrimp was so salty I couldn't even eat it. The fries were overcooked and hard, and even the patty melt was overly salty. I've never written a review but my experience at Tom's comepelled me to. I'm not too local to Chino but I would go out of my way to eat here again. Great service, Quality food, Nice Atmosphere, Clean place and Fair prices. The service was top-notch, I honestly felt like I was some VIP guest eating there. I almost felt bad how much the workers were going out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Before I was even finished, I was thinking of all places that openly offer customers to tip workers, this should be one of them. The food was prices were affordable and better comparatively to other places of this type. The generous portion sizes made it even more worth it. I ordered the chicken and waffles, my friend had fried zucchini, fries and pancakes. The chicken tasted fresh, perfectly breaded, and seasoned. The pancakes were fluffy, airy and tasted great. The fries and zucchini were above par too, just as I imagine everything else on the menu would be. They also had a nice robot rolling around carrying the plates for the server which was a fun novel aspect. Have been waiting for this place to open up for the last 3 years and the day finally got here! Sunday afternoon, pretty busy, walk in get greeted and walk straight to the line. It was perfect timing as we looked at the menu and decide what to order (Huge menu) then it was our turn. Ordered the super nachos (huge portion, good for two). A side of Large Onion rings and a Large Pepsi. Chose a table and no more than 5 minutes later we had our order deliverer by an awesome little robot! The nachos were huge! Loaded with chicken, cheese, lettuce, sour creme, tomato and beans! Then the onion rings were huge! Nachos were great, service was spectacular, and fast. Overall a great first experience. $20 for everything, good lunch for two. Will continue to come here! Glad they're open! read more
