My boyfriend told me he found a good spot for breakfast burritos, but I was feeling more of a breakfast sandwich. I asked for Sausage and Bacon. Let me just describe how good this sandwich was. There's a sausage patty, large thick cut bacon strips, scrambled egg, a slice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, in between a soft bun with some mayo. This breakfast sandwich was 5/5 stars delicious. Not only did we get one as hard a rock but the reorder we saw is microwaved. The sauce is canned. I ordered my burrito with avocado and it did not come with it. Do NOT buy their egg/sausage breakfast burritos. I bought three to go, and their claimed "EGG/SAUSAGE" had literally no eggs or sausage in it. They should have called it the "Hash-brown and Cheese burrito" because that is all there was in it, and for $10 bucks a pop, that's a rip-off. Awesome staff! My tire went flat while in the drive thru and I didn't have a lug wrench. I asked the guy at the register (didn't get his name, sorry) if it was possible anyone had one, he relayed the message to Nina who went around asking for a lug wrench for me. She found one and really saved me from a giant headache. She also offered me water which was not necessary but greatly appreciated. Wow, old school dinner vibe meets fast food innovation. The service is amazing. There is a person walking around refilling your coffee. They have an automated server bringing your food. Downtown LA waiters need to take a lesson from this place when it comes to customer service. Also, the breakfast burrito is way better than Farmer Boys. Okkkkkaaaayyyyy Toms!!! This was my first time coming to Tom's and the first thing I noticed was the easy parking and then the friendly atmosphere. The staff was so kind and helpful! I told them that it was my first visit and they made it so special . They were so forthcoming with information, walked around and talked to everyone there and then even offered me a dessert. Had an early clinic appointment rescheduled on my way there. Almost arrived too! Oh well breakfast it is. By chance, I had pulled into Tom's Chino to take the appointment call. Destiny chose for me. I walked inside Tom's and the place was full of energy. Customers and employees packed the place. This means it's going to be worth it. It was! I ordered black coffee and Tom's Burrito with green salsa on the side. All came out under $13 bucks. That's a good price nowadays. Places are charging $15 and up just for a burrito. This one comes with everything. No wonder it's named after Tom. Loaded with eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, bell pepper, onion, tomato, cheese, and hash browns. Took a bit of time to take our order; but admittedly we couldn't decide on what to have. Once we did; she took our order but failed to remind us that there is an extra $1 per plate due to egg costs. When we got our food not only did she bring us an item that we did not order but it was COLD. We let her know that we ordered the bacon not the sausage and when she brought the bacon that too was cold. Rather than complain we have decided that we will not return. We had a great experience the past two times we dined here; not this time. They seriously need to verify the food is HOT and CORRECT before bringing it out. Visited about 10 days ago. I was looking forward to being served by my very first robot, but there weren't any. Maybe they were on a lunch break? i didn't ask. The service was good. everyone was very nice. i ordered a BLT without mayo. they put mayo on it so i had to send it back, but they were apologetic and nice. i got a replacement in a decent time. everything tasted good. the place was clean, and comfortable, not too busy for a Thursday afternoon. there was a big TV in the corner, but i don't remembering it being loud. i will return to try other items, and i want to see the robot. read more

My first time at Tom's, wanted to check out their robot delivery system. The robot brings the food but waitress unloaded it. I thought the point of the bot was to free up the waitress. Oh well! This place is not bad. They serve you quickly and the waitress was friendly. The waffle are a bit on the dry side but the steak was nice and tender. Don't expect Ruth Chris but more of a Norms kind of steak, just better. Interior is nice and bright, very welcoming. Good place for a quick sit down meal. read more

There are a lot of burger joints in the region defined by usually Greek and/or Greek-American ownership, a broad menu of classic American, Mexican, and Mexican-American breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, reasonable prices, and great portions. Tom's without a doubt is among the best of the best in this category of restaurant. Many restaurants will take professional photos of their food to plaster on their menus, advertisements, and socials that the actual food served never looks as good as. The food Tom's serves actually looks much BETTER than the pictures (for example compare the chicken and waffles in the photo below to the one they have on the menu). If that's not a huge green flag, I don't know what is. The cherry on top is that the food tastes EVEN BETTER than it looks, and the moment you take a bite out of your order of choice, you will certainly be on a trip to flavor-town. My girlfriend and I tried two items when we went: the chicken and waffles and the mushroom swiss burger: The chicken and waffles came with four juice, golden, delicious pieces of fried chicken that paired perfectly with a freshly-cooked waffle dusted with some mouth-watering confectioner's sugar. You can add butter and syrup to taste from there, and you may just use all of what they give you. The mushroom swiss burger comes with all the typical trappings of a great burger: delicious toasty buns, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, thousand island's dressing, patties, with a layer of hot, savory mushrooms and swiss cheese to round it all out. Each bite will leave you wanting for more and more until the burger has vanished and all you have is a hot plate of beautifully cooked, crispy fries to munch on. It also comes with a cup of ranch to use as you see fit. I personally liked adding a bit to my burger and using the remainder to dip my fries in. Apart from the food, the customer service is amazing. Your order is taken with a smile and the food is brought directly to your table, which is a rarity among similar restaurants. There is plenty of seating in a semi-retro dining room with great music playing, even if a tad too loud for me. Overall, they have plenty of great options for everyone here and I doubt you could go wrong with anything on the menu. They even have unique soda options like "vanilla agave cream soda" if you enjoy exploring those types of things. I will definitely be back. read more

This is my first time here, and one thing after another was super disappointing. First we were ordering and everytime we ordered one item the person kept rushing us asking if we were done ordering after every item we ordered, we have 6 people in the car, so hearing it over and over made us feel like we're taking forever and she wanted to hurry us up. When I received my food I check everything was there and when we got home I looked at my breakfast sandwich and it was completely soggy, I could squeeze the bun and liquid would come out. The eggs on the sandwich was super overcooked and was folded over to hide the burnt. The tomato on the sandwich had seen better days. The steak burrito was more like a "shredded beef" and for the price of it I was expecting chunks of steak, not finely shredded pieces of beef. We wanted a nice meal and wanted to support a local business, but after this I don't think I will be going there again any time soon. read more

First off, I should've came here from the start! I went to the other location located on Philadelphia. We ordered a small chili cheese fries, an asada fries & an order of nacho cheese fries. The lady that helped us at the window repeated our order over and over & we specifically mentioned to her that one of the orders is a nacho cheese fries & she repeated yes! Once we got home, we unpacked the food and noticed that they gave us another order of chili cheese fries instead of the nacho fries! The reason why I am upset was because my brother specifically went and wanted the nacho fries! So then I called the location in Chino and the guy that helped us was very nice! Believe it or not, Tom's just barely opened for business. It was closed, but it sat vacant for awhile. My Girlfriend and I were always wondering, when will Tom's be open. Sure enough, now they are now open for business. They are located on Central Ave, across from the Bank of America building, have their own parking and drive thru. We have been going there since and been impressed. We went for breakfast and decided to eat inside. We ordered the Tom's Burrito and the Strawberry Pancakes. So we went To our seats and waited for our order to be ready. To our surprise, our order arrived via an auto server. The auto server had tray slots, where the customer can pick up their items. We spilt the Tom's Burrito and the Strawberry Pancakes. Tom's Burrito comes with: Two Eggs, Ham, Bacon, Sausage, Onions, Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Hash Brown & Cheese. The Strawberry Pancakes comes with Sliced Strawberries and whipped cream. From looking at the pancakes, they are thick and will fill you up. You can definitely taste the quality of the food and the portions are more than enough. Our overall experience was great and the customer service we received was good. The employees kept asking us, if we needed anything else. In my personal opinion, I would highly recommend Tom's, for some quality homemade style food and portions.
