Customer service was excellent and the atmosphere and energy was amazing as well as the food!

We ordered the Tomo ramen with pork chashu, braised chicken, wonton, enoki mushrooms, and a shoyu-cured egg. The broth had a slow-simmered depth without being overly salty and the combination of tender chashu with flavorful braised chicken made it jampacked with meat. The delicate wontons were nice bursts of flavor. We also tried the tonkatsu ramen (pork chashu, enoki mushrooms, same shoyu-cured egg). Both eggs were perfectly jammy with a well-balanced soy cure. For the price, the portion size and quality were honestly impressive. Service was quick and efficient in a food court setting. We ordered drinks as well: a passion fruit tea and an Oreo milk tea. The passion fruit tea was refreshing and not overly sweet. The Oreo milk tea actually turned into a memorable moment; it was the server's first time making it and she accidentally prepared it incorrectly (not blended as intended). Before we even said anything, she noticed the mistake, was extremely apologetic, and immediately remade it without hesitation. That kind of accountability and professionalism really stood out. My group of 4 wanted something to eat around Fremont and this was one of the spots we had our eyes on. For a Friday night around 7 or 8pm, this place gets a lot of traction as the food court inside Fremont Hotel was nearly packed with almost no seats available. Menu consists of teriyaki, bowls and ramen among others, and I was pretty surprised at first. Like I can get a bowl of ramen for less than $13? Sign me up! Then I saw how small the bowl was, and also quality of ingredients wasn't the best, more on that later. Initially my group's dishes came out first but mines was still being made. Turns out the kitchen was backed up by a lot of the same orders, so I wasn't the only one waiting. For each of the dishes we got (and I was able to try): - The Tomo ramen is okay at best. There's some pork chashu and braised chicken, both which didn't carry much taste as the broth held most of it. Bowl was relatively small and dosh was put in a disposable bowl. Eggs, enoki mushrooms and green onions rounded off the rest of the dish. - My sis's chicken teriyaki bowl was way too salty to eat. It had so much sauce that it also made the otherwise bland rice salty too. Broccoli did little to help here. - My friend's OG poke machos were a big highlight of the meal. The sashimi ahi was fresh, and the Tomo OG sauce - which tasted more like cheese - added a bigger salty kick. - My friend also got their fried saimin which he found pretty tasty but I did not get to try. This is an all right place but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here unless I wanted something quick like for my visit where I had an event at 9pm. read more

Friday afternoon about 1:00 we made it into the Fremont Casino to hang out. Feeling a little peckish we stopped by the food court to check out our options. Everything here is clean, neatly organized, family friendly and well lit up. We chose Tomo Noodles cause it was a chilly day outside and a warm ramen noodles bowl sounded like it would hit the spot. No lines. Menu was very easy to understand and Lattecia.B. Was on it!! She took our order - we paid and sat down at the many open tables. 1:12 placed our order.... And waiting. Note: only 1 chef ‍ ..... I will say, the foot traffic was definitely starting to pick up... Located by Fremont Street, this is one of the go to location when we want to grab something easy. We used to like this place but their food quality has gone down. Staff looks stressed and rude as well. We came here for dinner and had their tonkotsu ramen, wonton mein, and tomo ramen. The food was flavorful and has good portions. However, later on, we experienced extreme stomach discomfort and had terrible food poisoning. We were sick for 2 days. Never again! We won't be coming back. read more

After spending several days on the Strip, we needed a place to cut back on our spending. We visited Fremont Street on St Patty's Day, and the Fremont Food Hall did the trick! I ordered the Fried Saimin, and paid a little over $16 after taxes. Since the food is made to order at this restaurant, it does take a bit to come out, but I appreciated how fresh and piping hot it was. The quantity was quite large (could have easily fed two people) and they did not skimp on meat portions either. They used just enough sauce that coated the noodles perfectly. It was quite tasty for something that is considered fast food. If you wanted to, you can sit at the counter and watch your food being made. I would gladly eat at this restaurant again. read more

This was a walk up restaurant in the food court area of a casino on Fremont We came here because we were trying to get somewhere else and put our name on the list but was told we may not get in. Hungry and not expecting to get in we walked around until we found something quick and found this place. Look at the picture I posted!!! That stuff was so good. It lacks flavor and content and for the second most expensive thing on the menu this is a pass. Mushy flavorless rice made me require soy sauce to make it edible. The staff was ok and most importantly the overall taste of the noodles was just ok. The broth was above average but I prefer the broth to be hotter. What a great addition in the downtown area. Tomo is located in the new food hall in the newer area of Freemont Hotel. With a handful of choices, I wanted to ramen to sober up. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and Crispy Won Ton. The Ramen soup was good. It actually tasted more like chicken broth as opposed to pork broth. It's not a bad thing as it tasted good. Also, I ordered my noodles al dente, which was perfect for me. I don't like soggy noodles. The won ton was good in flavor, but a couple of pieces were still cold on the inside. The ponzu sauce went well with it to add more flavor. The only negative is the cashier. Not friendly, but the other guy helping and bagging the food was really helpful. The menu has a good selection but not overwhelming to choose from. I went with the namesake, Tomo Ramen. The workers there were smiling and patient while I decided and my order came out in about 2 minutes. My order was served in a disposable bowl and it was packed with ramen noodles, vegetables, pork pieces and egg. The broth was very good and did not overpower the noodles. Was so happy to see a Tomo Noodles in the new Fremont Casino food hall! The Sahara location closed and while this menu is smaller, it's still very good. So happy to have a ramen spot downtown! The ramen is not expensive ($11-15) and is more of a singular portion so it's not huge. They have a few different options with different broth options (including veggie) and they all looked good. We got the tonkatsu pork ramen and the shoyu ginger chicken ramen. All great! They also had a tea bar with different teas like an Oreo black tea and green tea, as well as the signature Tomo dumplings and other apps/plates to choose from. The only thing I didn't like was that they served the ramen with disposable plastic bowls and tiny disposable plastic spoons. Giving this place 2 stars. The service was bad. The male staff was telling the cashier to have her assist him since he's the one making all the other orders and it seemed like the orders were wrong. The girl helping him was just standing around. And they had another worker be the cashier but she was taking her time washing something while there was 5 people in line waiting to put their order in. The boba is not good. The ramen is average. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here. The staff needs to be more organized or they need more staff. read more
