From start to finish, these guys were awesome. Called to make a reservation and Murphy handled everything with ease and a lot of humor. Got a call the day before from John and agin during the move - the man at mission control making sure everything was going according to plan. The three movers, Alan, Leo, and Danny, were kind of mindblowingly incredible. For starters, they were right on time. A little more than two hours later, they had my 1300 sq ft house loaded onto the truck. I couldn't believe they were so efficient. While I had done nearly all of my packing in advance, they packed a ton of loose little stuff that saved me several extra fill-in trips. They had me fully unloaded and ready to unpack in five and change hours total - and that included taking the time to stack my washer/dryer into a relatively tight space. When they say white glove service, they are not kidding! The crew showed up exactly on time and prepared for anything and everything. Besides the usual gear, shrink wrap, blankets etc they even have extra boxes to cover packing the last odds and ends. My belongings were handled with care, and landed at the new location exactly where I wanted them in perfect condition. Excellent easy communication with the office, off site and on site crew bosses. So you're scapegoating the elderly client even though the owner and movers knew a few hours after leaving the property that it was a mistake and the items needed to be returned? The movers were alerted immediately of the mistake and promised us they would return everything that same night but they didn't. Then they said they would return next day, but again they never showed up. They chose to turn a simple misunderstanding into theft. After a month of back and forth with the owner, they dumped *some* of our belongings, mostly camping equipment, in an alley and gave us the address where we could find it. Most of the missing items were still missing. Then the owner stopped answering calls from me, the other tenants, and the property owner. More than two years have passed and NOW they want to make things right? Are you serious? They took thousands of dollars worth of tools, car parts and a box of my deceased mother's belongings, which held no value to anyone but me. Those were just my things missing, not including all the other tenants stolen belongings. And again, they knew the SAME DAY to return everything. They even said they would. But they chose not to. No compensation is needed, why not just return everything that they took? Where did all of those items go? They're lucky the only consequence is a negative Yelp review. read more

I can't speak highly enough! Dan and Vitale were the NICEST and most EFFICIENT guys out there! Our scenario: My partner and I are moving in together and scheduled different movers last weekend. They were supposed to get all of our stuff from both apartments and bring them to the new one, in four hours (very short drives). They only got her apartment done and took 7 hours, and had tons of hidden fees. WILL NOT COMMUNICATE - UNCLEAR ON pricing at the. **I am hoping to update this when they finally contact us and when we make the move if nothing to stolen or damaged** (only 2 stars not 1 because I am hoping they will resolve this!) My husband and I are moving from Utah to Florida. We contacted this company and they seemed reliable and we wrote up our contract. Some things to note. -we saw some negative reviews pop up about them arriving and up charging by thousands. Their box size is 1 x 1 x 1 feet. Not a typical moving box. So our original moving quote was 30 boxes which we have but it's 30 small boxes. This would be 30 cubic feet. Our normal tubes you can buy at any store gets us to 120 cubic feet. -we have tried to call multiple times to update our quote so they cannot charge us an insane difference. Each week they say someone will call and no one will. They originally said someone will call 3-5 days before the move. This way you are out of the 7 day out cancelation fee. -we stated we have a large sectional couch and it was marked as a 3 seater couch so that will be an up charge. -we were told we could get a full cash refund as long as we cancel before the 7 days out. They then said that isn't true we can only get a credit to use with them read more

Toms Marathon Movers were amazing! We hired them after a great conversation over the phone. We did a lot of the packing ourselves but the guys showed up on time and ready to work. They moved a 3 bedroom house across town within 3 hours of arriving. They were careful with all the furniture and TVs. Everything was unloaded and put together safely.
