This restaurant sounded great..but when we got our food I realized quickly it was pretty much somewhat of a glorified Sizzler. Wow. What an absolute disgrace of a restaurant. Your head chef should be embarrassed. Steak cooked midrare, but chewier than rubber bands, flavorless potato soup, really weird sausage soup, ribs that were just terrible, and Mac n cheese that seems like it came out of a buffet line. As an Anaheim local, I should have known there would be a ton of loud obnoxious tourists dining here. Everything else was fantastic. Our server Consuelo was very friendly and attentive to our needs. My top sirloin tasted very good and my girlfriend ordered the shrimp scampi which was also good. When I was growing up Tony Roma's was synonymous with high-quality and high-class, I don't feel like that is a tradition has been continued to stay to this day. Our waitress was nice and kept our drinks full. Our meals were accurate. The QUALITY of the food is where we hit a problem. My children shared a steak dinner and 1/3 of the steak was fat and inedible. My husband also ordered a steak. The sides were great but he ordered his steak MEDIUM (which is a hot pink center) and what he received was medium-rare at best. It was so unappetizing that even after sending it back to be cooked more he was unable to eat it at all. There wasn't any sort of check-in from the manager to make sure things were taken care of and to our satisfaction. We will not be going there again- we learned to stick with IHOP down the street or Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. read more

We were on our way walking to Bubba Gump's shrimp and saw Tony Roma's. As a group we decided to stop here instead. I ordered the original full rack of ribs on 10/27/17 around 6:00pm. The ribs were very dry and had barely any sauce on them. When I asked for more sauce it came out super cold. . Totally not what I was expecting coming from Tony Roma's. It's been years since I ate here due to the fact that they shut down all of them in my city (Sacramento). If your looking for ribs keep waking! It was our first time here and we enjoyed the service and food. The food came out just in time-we had the original babyback ribs, Bbq chicken and shrimp and salmon piccata. They were all delicious! Our server was really nice too. I'm not sure why there are several negative reviews. My only comment would be about the corn in the cob. I haven't visited a Tony Roma's in several years and enjoyed it in the past so when we saw it was across the street from Disneyland, my family and I decided to have dinner there. Atmosphere was ok. It looked like it had been renovated within the last 5 years but I felt that the low ceilings and brightness left a lot to be desired for a restaurant where you'd be spending $20-25ish per person. Service was adequate. Food was terrible. I ordered the BBQ chicken which tasted like they baked the chicken with no seasoning whatsoever- not even salt! and poured their BBQ sauce (don't get me started on the sauce- overly cinnamon seasoned and tasted like a cheap BBQ sauce you would find on the shelf of your discount grocery store). My son and I ordered sides of BBQ beans which was seasoned with way too much cumin that gave them the taste of a strangely sweet chili. Needless to say, I didn't eat much. My daughter ordered beef medallions which she said had a horrible tasting mushroom and wine sauce on them. The rest of the family ordered baby back ribs which were ok. I think we would have fared better and spent less had we eaten at the Bengal Barbeque at Disneyland or McDonalds up the street, My advice is to save your money and eat somewhere- anywhere else! read more

Had the platter with the skewered shrimp, steak and half rack of St. Louis ribs. The flavors were really good especially the ribs just wish there would have been more. Sides were good they were generous with the broccoli which is nice and the mashed potatoes were very good. My wife and I were on a search for a bowl of good clam chowder. We stopped off at Tony Roma's for a drink and sat at the bar. Scott was the bartender that night and we asked him if they had any clam chowder. He said that all they had left was potato soup. He came back less than a minute later and said "let me go check with the kitchen, maybe they started a new batch". He came back shortly and said that they had! After a long day at Disney The Fiance and I were in the mood for some BBQ. Not wanting to sit in traffic and drive home first we decided to come to to Tony Romas and eat. I have to say i was surprised with my experience. This is your run of the mill chain restaurant as far as decor and appetizer choices, boneless buffalo wings check, fancy drinks check Tiffany lamps check. We shared the onion loaf ( onion rings) which was eh not very impressive, and the baby back ribs which comes with cole slaw and a choice of a side, we got the french fries. Sides were mediocre nothing special but the ribs were surprisingly good. They fell off the bone a goo indicator of yumminess and the sauce was the right amount of tangy and sweet. If i were to come again i would skip the onion loaf and get a side salad and definitely more of the ribs! read more

This is an honest review. This place is horrible. Not bad, horrible. On top of the diner style food, it's expensive. I seriously can't believe It's been open this long. When my family and I visit Disneyland we always like to stop by Tony Roma's for dinner or lunch during our stay. It is right by our hotel and the service is always good. I had one bad experience where I asked for a water and before I took a sip I saw a bug in my glass, but the bartender quickly gave me a new glass of water. Disneyland has been a great experience, but the food is quite expensive at the park and often the quality is quite bad. Even at Downtown Disney, so all week I suggested we eat at Tony Romas. I had never had it, but it looked like the kind of place with great food. Finally we go, and the waitress takes our table and runs into a server spilling drinks everywhere. Water got on me, but nothing worse than a water ride at disneyland. Didn't bother me much. We sit down, and no one talks to us for 10-15 minutes. Finally a waiter comes by, and asks if we've been helped. He takes our drink orders, and food since we already knew what we wanted. My daughter ended up having a gogurt that was completely frozen. No big deal I guess, often people freeze them before having them. I didn't get the horseradish I asked for until we asked for the check. I had steak medallions which were cooked well with a rather poor sauce on them. We also had ribs that were terrible. They seemed cooked very far in advance, with sauce added at the end and heated. I have had better ribs at the grocery store pre-cooked. The waiter didn't spend any time at the table. He didn't ask if there were any issues even though out of my entire meal, I ate just the steak. Everything else was very poor. Surprisingly I got better value at Disney. Best value was at McDonalds the whole week, and I don't even care for McDonalds. Absolutely awful! We visited Tony Roma's last night with our party of 9, including 3 children. We expected a decent steak dinner and a pleasant dining experience. Not only was our food awful, we were met with excuses and an unapologetic server. She was very obviously overworked and unhappy with her job, but as patrons paying $20 per person, we deserve much better. We did bring our experience to the manager's attention and he paid for my husband's and my steak, but it still was a rotten experience altogether. I would not recommend this establishment at all. This is a great place to eat! The menu is small but the food is wonderful! We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting Disneyland and our waitress CONSUELA treated us like we were not just another table to be waited on but as if we had been friends for years. After a 8hr drive to Anaheim my family and I where excited to see a decent amount of family restaurants within walking distance. My husband had wanted to go to a steakhouse and I was interested in having fish. So we thought Tony Roma's menu would be fine. After being seated and further review of your menu, I decided I had no interested in your seafood selection. I ordered the Oriental Grilled Chicken Salad instead after asking for a recommendation from our server. Food is served, everyone is enjoying their food but myself. My salad tastes like nothing but heavy seasame oiled down greens. Gross. I just picked off the chicken and ate that and pushed the greens to the side. read more
