I didn't eat the ribs, instead I had the salmon, and my friend had the 9oz sirloin. Both happened to be AMAZING! Only hiccup was on my second visit when I ordered the salmon, there was a hair in my food.. Yuck.. To fix the issue the manager was notified. She not only replaced my food, but also took it off the check! Very nice people with good service, and a great understanding of customer service. I recommend eating there if you're in the area. Tony Romas has changed their tag line from a Great Place for Ribs to Ribs Steak and Seafood. Good thing they left out the Great Place part. I had the combo platter, the shrimp tasted ok but was very over cooked and rubbery. The steak had very little flavor and half the piece was over cooked. The ribs tasted like they had a little brown surgar glaze and nothing else. I came across Tony Roma's while staying near Disneyland. It brought back a lot of childhood memories. Unfortunately, the palette is no longer what it used to be. I ordered the filet mignon medium well. I got it and it came back well done, really dry. He ordered rib eye steak medium well, it came out extremely salty and burnt. It was a bit noisy, but I guess it comes with the Disney territory. I ordered a couple drinks before finally throwing in the towel as what I wanted to eat. omg! terrible, slow service! came here with my family, 6 adults and 1 toddler and was charged an 18% gratuity! i could understand 15% but 18%?!? wth! totally undeserved! i felt that since our waitress was getting her tip automatically she felt no need to assist us. i had to track down a busboy to get our server for us after our food we waited for over a half an hour was dropped off by two other people, not our server. then next time we saw her was when she dropped off our check. food took a whille as stated and all of us either ordered a sandwich or a salad. so its not like we had to wait for a steak to cook to the right temp. we ate here on a tuesday evening @ 7pm, so its not like we went during the dinner rush. the table behind us was empty when we ordered and by the time we got our food they were already packing their to go plates. food was ok. chicken was dry in the chicken pulled sandwich. broccoli was overcooked which i substituted the french fries for. cant say much for the other plates ordered as i did not taste those. but when service sucks it just ruins the whole dining experience for me (having worked in a restaurant [as a server and a manager] in the past i know what to expect, maybe my expectations are too high, but i am the one paying you right? at least do a decent job which isnt all that hard. at one point i felt that the waitress forgot to enter our order in, maybe thats why it took long. but come on, communicate with us. only saw waitress 3 times! aaaahhhh! coming to disneyland at least twice a month i know not to eat here again! read more

Absolutely terrible the worse service I've ever experienced from a Tony Roma's. I ordered the ten dollar hamburger and asked for mayonnaise it took the server 15 minutes to get the mayonnaise to the table. The lettuce was wet when they through on the burger which made the bun soggy a gooy, asked for the meat to be medium well it came medium rare. The fry's were cold, over cooked and greasy. We waited 20 minute to get 0ur bill, then another 15 min for the waitress to come and pick it up, we tired of waiting so we took money to the cashier station so we could pay it and we were told we would have to wait for the waitress so I took 2 dollars of the tip. It's ok at best. Break it down. It's close to Disney. Short walk. Inside is old , not dirty,not clean. It's meh. Service was fine. Drinks were good. Not great not bad. Decent. Food. Blah. Salad was good. Bread was good. Main dish was not good. We had ribs and baked potato. We like good food and have had very good food before. This was not. We think they bake 100 or so potatoes at a time and then use as needed. Both were so dry the skins absolutely not edible. Serious. Like leather Also both potatoes had half the inside missing. Our guess is they scoop out some of each baked potato and use that for the mashed. Ribs. Dry and hard. Yeah yeah the meat fell off the bone but that's not the real way to judge a rib. It's all about taste and texture. These are not good. Bark was hard as a rock and old. I'm sure my ribs were at least a day old. The slaw was from a bucket. Smart and final is my guess. read more

this review is a little late but before I forget... my coworkers and I had a full day in the park and were starving but didnt want to head home on an empty stomach.We were going to the bar but a comfy booth opened up instead, we opted in for all the appetizers that our server Ben recommended including the onion rings, spinach and artichoke dip, kickin shrimp , and the super delish buffalo egg rolls which is a limited time item which we hope stays! Ordered take-out on our recent trip to Disneyland. Not sure what service is like for dine-in but take-out was pretty good. We ordered a full rack of ribs which were a little tough (thus for the 3 star) but the pasta dish and sides were delicious. My favorite was the potato soup- very rich but tasty. It was actually perfect for a meal in our hotel before hitting the parks again. not going to lie i was very disappointing in the ribs. Use to always go to Tony Roma's with my family growing up and I always remember them having more taste and being a lot more juicier. My baked potato tasted bland also and lacked flavor. Im not sure if its the cooks or the actual quality of the product but in my opinion Tony Roma himself would be appalled on how far this apple has fallen from the tree. As for the service it was great. Our waitress did her job very well and I cant say anything bad about our service other then they should not already charge u a tip when there is just 5adults. When you think of Tony Roma's, what comes to mind? Yup, ribs. For securing a prime location on busy Harbor Blvd., this place is a big disappointment. I don't know if I've ever been to Tony Roma's prior to yesterday, but I do know that I won't be going back. Stopped in yesterday to grab lunch with my brother and a friend. They already had gotten appetizers by the time I got there. They had ordered a sampler platter: artichoke dip, buffalo bites, and some sort of fried onion. The onion and the dip were average. The buffalo bites seemed like they came out of the freezer section at the grocery store. They weren't crisp or exceptionally appetizing. I know this place is supposed to be known for their ribs, but I wasn't feeling like ribs yesterday so I ordered the shrimp pasta off of their lunch menu for $12. I could tell as soon as the pasta hit the table it was going to suck. The pasta seemed over done. The "sauce" resembled diced tomatoes scattered over the pasta. The shrimp tasted okay, but couldn't make up for the pitiful state of the the rest of the dish. There was also about a half cup of water in the bottom of the bowl from them not draining the pasta thoroughly. It looked like something I might dish up for myself at the Sizzler buffet. I thought about returning it after the first bite, but I hate being that guy. So I picked the shrimp out and let the server trash the rest. This restaurant is near Disney. It gets crowded, but we were seated quickly and our waiter did a great job. They are known for their ribs, my family liked them. The potato soup is really good. I went here for my dad's birthday and I ordered the Original Baby Back Ribs with the original Tony Roma BBQ sauce. When I got my dish, I thought I would need to use a fork and a knife, but there was no need because the meat just fell right off the bone. It was delicious and tender! I tried my cousin's Shrimp Scampi and it was super flavorful. I also had the clam chowder which was also superb. The waiter was exceptionally nice and diligent. The manager then had the gall to tell us that the kitchen was just maxed out, while a nearby party of 4 was served, left, and a NEW group came in and got appetizers.
