My friend and I always stop by here when we are at Reboot the arcade bar one street over. Usually it is one of the best parts of the night, super nice environment & great slices. Last night however, the cook or whoever he is with the bald head came out to clear tables about 30 minutes before closing and was very rude to us. Grabbed our trash and said something about closing soon and cleaning up and I said "oh yeah you're good no worries" BEING NICE and he turns around to snap back at me "Oh IM good?? No we close." Okay yeah I'll get my stuff and get tf out, but you are the rudest person I've come across in Dunedin entirely. Do better. Sweet sweet girl working the front register though, you're amazing.

It was Saturday (9/23) and the wife and I decided to do a field trip to Dunedin. Every couple weeks we like to venture out of town for the day or weekend depending what we get into. It's a forty minute drive my our base. Made it to Main Street just before noon, found a parking spot quick. We took a stroll thru the open air market that was set up on the north side of Main. Lots of vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables and other craft items. This when we started getting hungry. Saw Tony's across the street and asked my wife if she wanted a slice, she did. As we made our way in I could see this was a real pizza joint, lots of pies to choose from for slices. Yes they have slices, can't begin to tell ya how tough it is to find a pizza place that serve slices. We stepped up to the counter and ordered, no problems or rudeness, quite friendly person as a matter of fact. It was twelve thirty by this time. My wife had a regular cheese slice and I ordered the Sicilian, it's been a while since I had sicilian so I thought I give it try. Also got a couple of fountain drinks as well. I bit into my slice and yea, it was satisfying...warmed up just right with tasty sauce and cheese. Not sure if I was gonna finish it, but I did. Wife enjoyed her slice as well and made a comment on the crust, " I like the crust" and she is picky about her crust. Was wondering if she was going to finish her slice cause I wanted to taste it, she saved me some and she was right, good crust. If you ever need a slice when visiting Dunedin, this is the place. Peace.

Late night pizza in Dunedin? No better place than Tony's! After hitting one of the clubs in the area, this is our go to to get some nutrition on the way home. The people are always very friendly and the pie is always super hot and delicious!

After a long day at the beach, nothing beats a think alive NY style pizza! We parked, ordered and waited about 15-20 mins for both of our pies to be completed. It was exactly how I anticipated, a delicious New York style pizza. Crust, sauce and cheese was on point!

Great atmosphere & friendly Pizza Crew. Seating area & restrooms are clean. Located right in heart of downtown. Pizza is as close at you can to New York Pizza, it is that good. We bought a whole pie & it was just as good cold. Definitely will be back next time we are in town.

Gone to this place with friends after bar hopping around Dunedin area. The staff were all smile and amazing. Very knowledgeable with there stuff. And there's arts hanging around the wall for the costumers to see and if they want, they can purchased this arts. Nice combination of local dining and art gallery! read more

This is the second time we've ordered takeout from Tony's pizza, and both times, they have been spot on. The pizza is delicious, perfectly baked and good proportions of topping to pizza. We also got the Greek Salad which was exactly what you'd expect and nice and refreshing and the Chicken Wings, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall, this is EXACTLY what we look for in a takeout pizza place. And it was perfect. read more

There's only one other pizzeria in the world I've ever given 5-stars to and that place is the standard by which I judge all other pizzas. That's a Brooklyn thin crust on the Lower East Side. Tony's does it. Congratulations my friend!! As of Sunday, November 13, 2016, I have to rescind my glowing review unfortunately. I've gotten pizza here 3 times in recent months and each one left something to be desired. Most recently, yesterday - I got a "Little Italy." It was so bad I threw more than half of it in the garbage. After driving down there to pick it up and then back - it was about an hour of just driving, parking and walking. But, hey, if the pizza was good I wouldn't be complaining. I don't know... Maybe the cheese was curdled... Maybe someone left the sauce out all night... Something about it tasted sour and just plain bad. The quality has been decreasing steadily since the end of the summer. I don't know what's up, but it's not my problem to solve. Now, I'm done. Never again. read more

A little slice of heaven in the sister city of Scottish capital Edinburgh. In Dunedin north of Clearwater FL on an evening drive my wife and I ran into this town on out way to Honeymoon Island. Tony's is the perfect slice of NY style pizza with salads that are out of this world. STOP BY TONYS if you're ever anywhere around Tampa Clearwater. read more

Really good pizza by the slice, plus they're open late. Tony's is a perfect snack after bar hopping in Dunedin. I've never tried their other options, but all flavors of pizza have been good. The pepperoni is usually my go-to. The veggie is also amazing; it has fried eggplant on it. read more

Excellent food! Excellent service. It's a very small place with not many tables, we have always been lucky enough to get a table. We have eaten in and taken out pizza, calzone, fried mozzarella, garlic knots, and draft beer. Everything has been outstanding. They are pretty quick for made to order food, everything is always fresh and so delicious. We love many places in Dunedin, but this is one of our favorites. It's like a NY style pizza joint located in a beachfront paradise and at a very reasonable price. read more

On a Saturday night, this place was packed. To their credit, we were in and out very quickly(4 adults). I had a slice of white pizza which was absolutely amazing, the crust was perfect. Tried a bite of my husband's slice(meat lover's) and it was equally awesome. I can't wait to go back and try all the different varieties. The one drawback is that seating is almost non-existent. We had been walking around all day and wanted to sit for bit but it wasn't really an option with the amount of tables available. The folks behind the counter didn't really interact with any of the customer's beyond asking what the order was, taking money, and calling out the orders again, they seemed almost impatient... I don't really blame them, they kind of have to take an assembly line approach with so many people to serve. So just expect delicious pizza and not too much friendliness, and you'll be happy. read more

This place is a nice, cozy, little nook, nestled in downtown Dunedin. It may have the feel of a "pizza joint", but has all the heart of an independent, "mom and pop" pizza restaurant. The pie was handmade, seasoned well, and delicious. The crust was perfectly crisp after being oven baked on a stone. I was surprised by the taste of it, being such a critic of pizza as I am. The sauce was wonderfully salty without going overboard. Our waiter had a foreign accent, which gave him a beautiful tone of voice. He was attentive and quick with his friendly service. Full disclosure, I only eat here after going out to Chic-A-Boom room soooo at that point anything that is remotely food tastes good. I am never a fan of drive through or fast food in general, but at 2am something fast and easy is necessary. Enter Tony's Pizza. It's right across the street from the bars, so you can swing by and grab a slice (or whole pie) before catching a cab home. Unless you are getting a slice from a pie fresh out of the over though, don't bother. Their reheating method is not all that great (unless you've had five drinks). read more

The pizza is pretty good, not great. But for outside of NY standards, you can't go wrong. I'm not impressed by the unfriendliness and acting like they're doing me a favor by serving me something I paid for. The bad attitude cost them a star. Until this place becomes as good as The Brooklyn Pizza Company in Seminole or Eddie & Sam's in Tampa, acting like you were raised by a pack of wolves wont do you any favors. read more

Holy amazing pie! And the owners no bs attitude is perfect!!!! When we walked in to order they were busy as could be. The only asked if I was a local, only to explain that their was a long wait for pizzas as every family in the world had ordered take out that night. I didn't mind at all, placed my order, and stepped aside. As the nearly 40 minutes went by that we were waiting we watched patron after patron come inside and talk about how amazing his pizza was. He occasionally would joke about the wait, and assure us that it was in the works, but I think he sensed that we weren't sweating it. That or he saw my numerous chef related tattoos and realized that "I got it." The best part of this was when a woman complained that she had been waiting over 10 minutes to which he replied "Lady, everyone here has been waiting over 10 minutes, don't be greedy!" It was amazing, and she deserved every bit of humility she earned. The pizza though... wow. The dough was incredibly well cooked, chewy with just the right pull, and perfectly flavorful all the way through the crust. The cheese was melted in that perfect way without grease, reminiscent of what Michelangelo used to eat on the Ninja Turtle cartoons. It just looked so good, and Tony's tasted that good. I'd highly recommend this place, especially because so much of the Clearwater area food sucks, but this place knocks it out the park. read more

What do we have here? Pizza by the slice. I tried two a meat lovers and a veggie. They quickly reheated the slices in the oven and I sat down to eat. First impression. Meat lovers - oh this is pretty good. Very think crust with a good mix of flavors. This would be awesome cooked fresh to order. Veggie - not my fave. Broccoli wasn't working for me. They have a variety of seasonings to put on. Just pepper flakes for me. Its clean and the service was both quick and polite, so 4 stars is not a stretch. read more

Nice little pizza shop in Dunedin. The pizza came out with a nice perfectly crisp bottom which most pizza shops fail to achieve. Good for small groups. And good selection for everyone. The only thing I didn't like is that they have a light located above their fan which makes a very very very annoying strobe effect. Besides that the pizza was pretty good. read more

I was wondering why my pie didn't seem fresh. I can't to notice none of the slices are equal that mean each slice was from another pie. I ordered a pie to make sure it was fresh. To my surprise it's not a fresh pie. Pizza was worst then a dominos. One slice the bottoms was hard yet the other was a bit softer. I guess you can only get a good 1 pie if your there looking at them making it. I love the Tony downtown saint pete location close to my job. So sad it was my cheat day as well, I have been looking forward to this pizza a whole week. read more

Pretty disappointed. Ordered a white pizza and it was so bland and had a bit of an off taste. Cheesecake wasn't anything special and the cannoli was just a joke drenched in some cheap chocolate syrup. Couldn't even finish a whole slice. It all went in the trash. read more

The floor was dirty, I had to clean the table myself, and the trash can was full...looks like management must not be around. I have had better experiences here look tonight just was bad. The pizza was greasy the fries seemed like they were made with old oil and nobody seems to be picking up the trash on the floor or clearing off the tables. Overall I have noticed in a lot of places that I visit that the people working there don't really bust a××. This is no exception. Good before training, could before management, we could be that management is gone so everybody is not giving a darn. read more

I used to order their Caesar salad and it was really good with fresh Parmesan cheese shredded on it. I just ordered it and it was awful! They threw lettuce in a box and put that fake powder Parmesan cheese on top of it. When you put dressing on that powder it clumps together and makes mush. read more

Fantastic pizza. This place by far is the best pizza I have had in this area. It reminds me of an actually NY pizza joint. Most of the places down here are doughy and boring. This place has a thin and cripsy pizza. It is nice to find a place that also has slices. I like the fact they are open late on weekends when the bars closed. If you are from up north this is a must try place. read more

They ended up attempting to correct the issue and were very apologetic but again the incorrect pizza came out only minus cheese so he was able to ultimately eat it. We didn't have the heart to tell our server it was wrong again and we were very tired since it was getting late. I ordered the fig pizza which was delicious albeit a little dry. I would ask for a dipping sauce next time perhaps. I think we will be back but it will take me convincing my husband it's a safe choice. We were also told that they were missing a lot of staff members due to their truck being over at The Sound.

Pizza was ok, really greasy though. I came when i was running down the pinellas trail with my friend and we only had 6 dollars for food so we went there and got a slice each and a drink and we asked the black haired woman if we could refill and she saw we needed a drink really bad and she said "not if youre sharing" in a really rude way. Wouldnt recomend it. Probably not going again. Make sure you dont go in when the woman is there shes really rude. read more

Very bad service do not order your food here online or eat n. Stay away. You may order from curb hub or UBER and 30 min later they decide they don't want to fulfill the order leaving you and your driver high and dry. read more
