This local pizza place in Peacedale is usually very busy. Lots of people takeout from here and it's because they have good pizza. We loved their large cheese pizza. Nice crispy crust. The topping itself was good, but I added some red pepper flakes to boost the spiciness level and I was happy. We also got some antipasto salad and it tasted fresh. Overall a good choice. Ok, so in 2017 I left a negative review for this location. During the current pandemic, oddly my favorite restaurants have taken a turn for the worst, and other places i didn't like really stepped up. Tony's is very close so I decided to give them another try. The pizza was excellent and delivery was extremely quick. Definitely not the soggy, greasy pizza i had in 2017. Also tried the dessert pizza with nutella, strawberries and raspberries and it was great! The downside is it's more expensive than the old Tony's, but I am excited to have such delicious pizza in the area! read more

Terrible customer service!! I can't believe this place is still in business. I placed an order online for delivery with the Grubhub option. After over an hour, I was sent a text that the order would be delayed up to 20 min. 20 min later another update it will be delayed again. I called Tony's (supposedly under new management) to check on the status and the rude woman who answered told me complain to Grubhub and hung up on me. You would think that they would try to give me some sort of explanation, but I guess hanging up on customer is easier. I hope the owner is proud of how their staff treats customers. The food is typically good...if you can actually get your order. 9 out of 10 times they will forget your sides and they're highly unprofessional in dealing with their mistakes. We've had better customer service from Dominos. We placed an order for pickup and were told it'd be ready in 20 minutes. When we came to pick up our order, we were told they could "rush it for us" which would still take another 20 minutes. We tried to give them another chance after so many let downs...only to be reminded why we stopped ordering here in the first place. read more

I have always loved the pizza at Tony's. The chicken bacon ranch is my personal favorite. I recently ordered a very expensive "stuffed" pizza that I was very disappointed in. It just didn't taste very good! Although I had ordered 4 toppings, only 3 actually made it inside the pizza. Most of the filling was spinach which I had to pick most of out. The sauce baked on top tasted extremely sweet and then was sprinkled with tons of dried parsley or oregano, making it taste awful. 24 dollars plus tip for one pizza. I only had 1 piece and the rest got lost in the back of my fridge. My recommendation is to stick to their normal pizzas, which are pricey as well but definitely worth it read more

Went to Tony's last night to check it out. I drive by often but hadn't dined there in over ten years. Back then, as a starving student, Tony's calzones were a frequent in the rotation. The place has been remodeled and has a high top (bar) seating area in the front, and booths of varying sizes off to the side. I was impressed by the menu of traditional Italian food, sandwiches, salads, pizzas and specialty pizzas as well as the offer to make any specialty pizza into a calzone. I opted for soda since I'm a sucker for those red plastic cups and Tony's special chipped ice (simple pleasures), a small house salad, and Tony's hot stuff calzone. The salad was fresh with crisp greens, tomatoes, olives, and cucumbers with grated cheese on top. The calzone was loaded with hot peppers, sausage, cheeses, and pepperoni. I sat at the bar and had attentive service. For about $20 I had a nice meal and leftovers to take home. read more

Tonight I ordered a large pepperoni well done and instead got pepperoni mushrooms and sausage. Grew up in South Kingstown wanted try Tony's again being back in the area for the day. Have been told their pizza slices are still good but wanted to try other things on their menu. Decided on a large grinder to split with my boyfriend. Hadn't eaten anything by noon, we figured it would be enough for both of us. Man was I wrong. Was very disappointed. Their large grinders are small, under 12". We ordered a large Italian with extra meat and a few additional "toppings", we had no idea it would cost $8 more! The menu didn't say anything about the extra charge for vegetables (pickles, onions, olives). Didn't seem like very much meat with the extra meat. They forgot the lettuce which comes on it normally...we had to bring it back to have it added and it wasn't very much lettuce LOL! Cannot imagine how skimpy the normal large grinder would have been! We could have ordered TWO large grinders at any other restaurant/store for the price charged and gotten LARGE grinders. Seems that like a lot of the restaurants in South Kingstown have upped their prices but are not equivalent to what you're buying. read more

Went for lunch with 2 friends from work. Our waitress was harried and couldn't be bothered taking the time to get our orders right. 3 orders, all 3 were wrong. When I told her that my lunch wasn't what I ordered she mumbled "well I don't know what you ordered". Maybe if she'd taken 5 seconds to write down - steak sub deluxe - she might have known wtf I asked for. Isn't that what a waitress is supposed to do? So my friends orders were both completely wrong too. One ordered a chicken parm wrap and got chicken Caeser instead and a side of soup. The other ordered a BLT sub and it arrived without any tomatoes except for one little chunk. The waitress was made aware of the problems and took the food back. A minute later she returned with a sloppy chicken parm that was thrown together. She was asked about why there was a bowl of Portuguese soup on the table. She said my friend ordered it. No...none of us ordered soup. Maybe she has imaginary friends to play with her imaginary customers? A few minutes later she returns with my steak sub, which was pretty much cold at this point. All they did was throw some shredded lettuce and tomatoes on it. It sucked. At last the BLT came back, and instead of adding tomato as you would expect in something called a bacon, lettuce and TOMATO sub, they removed that lone vestige of tomato so that there was now absolutely zero pieces of tomato. While we laughed a lot about the absurdity of this, it was still really annoying. She couldn't have cared less, no "I'm sorry, I'll get this fixed", nothing. Didn't even check with us to see if things were okay or if we wanted more drinks or anything. We paid, no tip was given as shitty service deserves nothing. I know that the reason I got my food wrong was not because of the girl on the phone who took my order. She even repeated to me after putting it in the computer. They have different specials for wings, pizza, etc. I love their boneless chicken wings and their crust gets nice and crispy. The pizza is delicious. The thin crust is my favorite. Mondays starting at 4:00 they have a great pizza special called Beat The Clock. The price of a large pizza is the same as the time you call in. If you call at 4:15 then it's $4.15. Toppings are extra. How can you go wrong with that? I don't think I can make one myself for that price. Just be aware that it's popular and can take an hour to get your pizza on Mondays. We have celebrated many end of season soccer seasons there or with Tony's pizza. My kids love it also. read more

Pretty unassuming pizza place from the outside appearance, but I really enjoyed my experience here! Pizza was crisp, hot, and not greasy at all (crust wasn't super thin but not overly doughy either). Even better, our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive, and also made sure we made it out on time to make it to the URI basketball game. So I've been here b4 and had a better experience. Tonight was awful. I placed an order online for 2 orders of boneless wings, and paid in advance. You can select a time, so I requested 430 pickup. When I arrived at about 4:20, there were a bunch of servers gathered together inside the kitchen chatting. Two broke from the crowd to address me, one was in training. They saw I ordered and paid online and said I was early so it would be ready shortly. I settled in to a bar seat and the group of 5 went back to chatting. 20 minutes in to my wait a man walked in with a crinkled bag in his hand, a little pissed off, and told the group he got the wrong order. One of the girls took the bag, looked at the slip attached, pulled out the order, looked at me, and rolled the bag closed. She put it down in front of me and said, sorry, this is yours. Lol ... SERIOUSLY? Is she insane ? This tatted up, scrubby dude who had my chicken fingers for 25 minutes or more, then he returns them...NO THANKS. I waited another 15 minutes for a fresh order.
