Seriously the worst place to order from. They always get the order wrong and if you call and complain that the order is wrong they won't even fix it they just hang up on you and tell you to order from someone else. The women manager is incredibly rude. Needs some serious management restructuring and needs to take care of their customers. There's an obvious pattern with the reviews as of late and it shows this place severely lacks any and all customer service skills and won't own up to their own mistakes. They need to check their orders before they go out and make sure the customer has EVERYTHING THEY ORDERED! I brought my kids here to have dinner and a nice dessert. The staff was flakey, the dinner was awful, I didn't even Eat mine. The 1" piece of cake the kids got was $10 each... and the waitress forgot everything and kept coming back to the table empty handed to see how we were doing. I, being a local have visited Tony's MANY times. The prices just keep getting higher, and the portions smaller, the waitstaff more unfriendly. I saw a sign outside that advertised fish and chips, so I decided to try an order. The perfectly battered fish was absolutely delicious. I hope that this pizzeria keeps this item on its regular menu because the price is right, and the quality of this evening's take-out was pretty darn good. I've gotten takeout twice (today and ~4yrs ago) and don't think I'll go back again as, now I remember, each time I've felt jipped. While prices seem fair, know that they don't include side salad or bread as other places do. Takeout for one person cost almost $16. Portions are adequate but don't expect to have leftovers. Pasta sauce is very good. Pizza is average. Staff is rude. I got attitude when I asked for a plastic bag for the meal, salad and bread. They don't have bags so I had to balance greasy bags in my arms then put them on floor of car. read more

My go-to pizza place in So County. It's your typical local pizza place that serves up a really good pie. My favorite is just a pepperoni pizza. I love the crust on their pies too--nice and fluffy. They offer delivery, takeout and eat-in, where there are some beers on tap too. It's nothing too fancy and on a week night, you'll probably find a local sports team in there getting their grub on. If you go to Tony's, you get a damn stuffed pizza. It's not a calzone... its heaven. Stuff that baby with plenty of topping options, my boyf (a local) and I typically get it with chorizo, olives, spinach, sundried tomato, banana peppers, mushrooms and sometimes pesto. They have jalapeños on the menu, but they are banana peppers... The service is pretty hit or miss. We have had a dirty plate once, but they were very apologetic. They do pitchers of beer which is nice. We haven't tried pasta dishes or anything but like... stuffed pizza... why get anything else? read more

The food was over 30 minutes late (was supposed to arrive before 11pm; finally came after 11:30), and they didn't even bother to call to let us know. I called and they said that the orders were mixed up, and that our food would be on the way. She read off an incorrect order, so I corrected her, and she said it was on the way. When the delivery girl finally got there, our order was messed up (even though I had made that exact correction), and the delivery girl gave us an attitude and said she had to go back to her car to call about it. She came back 20 minutes later and gave us our food with the new total. It was cold as expected and quite frankly, I wish we hadn't bothered. read more

Normally excellent pizza. Last night's order of one large cheese and one large pepperoni was so very disappointing. The cheese pizza had over an inch and a half border of plain crust. There was just a very thin amount of sauce with a very small amount of cheese sprinkled on top, mostly the center. It was like getting a small pizza on a large crust. I ate at Tony's for the first time this summer. As newcomers to the area, my wife and I have had difficulty finding a good pizza place. After having Tony's spinach and ricotta pie, I think we found our place. This spinach pizza was easily the best I've ever had: tasty and moist with just the right amount of garlic. The slices were so big that I could only have 2 pieces. (I usually have 4). The reason I did not give Tony's five stars was that our house salad was very bland and not worth the price. But the pizza was great and we will definitely return. read more

This used to be our family's weekly place for a local dinner. But this year the owners have made disastrous decisions. The competent and friendly staff are gone (except the wonderful Anna), replaced by surly, untrained people with no sense of the restaurant's (previous) place in the hearts of the community. The food is not as good. The house salad now has only three ingredients. The summer pizza -- a hit for years -- disappeared. Fish and chips? Really? Apparently the key kitchen person left for another position. The last time we ate there (and it was our last time), the server kept apologizing for a 30 minute wait for food, saying "we are so busy" -- there were three tables occupied. The team of previous servers made it a pleasant place to go. Now it's poor food and poor service. You can dress your workers up in new red t-shirts, but this can't disguise the chaos, rudeness, and complete disregard for customers who have been loyal patrons for years. read more

I even had a few friends work there and quit due to the unprofessionalism of the management, or work there for a short time and get "fired" for ridiculous reasons. The owners of this place should really call it quits. This past Friday is the LAST time I will ever eat there. The food was cold, burnt, and took close to an hour. What a shame, The reason we went to Tony's was to see our friends and have some laughs, we shared our personal interest with all of them. I recently learned you terminated them, because of course you weren't making enough money GREED. there are a lot more important things in life than making as much as you can out of a small pizza restaurant. you have hired young inexperienced staff, which by no means come close to what tony's was. the service is nothing compared to what it was, and your food has always been ok. Pizza is not as good as it used to be. but the main reason we went was to see our friends, like going to see family,. This is a small town, and you have made a grave mistake. word will travel fast, and your business will decline for sure. Major mistake. I've been to Tony's many many times. I cannot understand for the life of me why other people find Tony's so bad. I've NEVER had a bad experience. Food in-house is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. The menu could be a bit more diverse, but for basic pizzaria food and other specials, I've have been happy every time. In fact, anyone I've gone with has also been happy. In Springtime, this place is slammed by softball teams and such, but they alway carry it off delitefully. The wait staff has also ALWAYS been friendly, quick and perfect with every order. I think ONCE about 4 years ago, I got a pizza delivered a little soggy...but I ordered a bunch of soggy toppings. Mondays, the pizza price cannot be beat. There are also great specials other times of the week. We order almost weekly and have not had any bad experience at all. It's amazing to me that other people have had any problems. My family and I have been going there for years and the staff and pizza were both excellent. Upon our last visit, we were told that our two favorite waitresses who have been serving us for years were both fired. ???? Clearly Tony's has been making some changes and not for the better. The pizza and pasta were both overcooked and the portions were significantly smaller. After probably 15 years, our family has made our last visit. A "family owned" business should show more respect not only to their "work family" but to their loyal customers. Called in an order based off their online menu. Asked for a Chicken Stir Fry calzone (without onions), a Hawaiian pizza, and an order of chicken fingers. Was told they don't do the chicken stir fry anymore but could try to build one based off the menu since they had all the items. Not sure how you don't have something when you say you can still make it. I said that was fine as long as no onion. They then asked me for a small or large, which was a bit confusing bc it only listed a standard size/price on the menu, but we went with a small. Had no issues with the pizza order but was told they don't have chicken fingers either so that was a no go. Was told a price of $25 and change, which works out as on the menu the pizza was $14.99 and calzone was $8.69 (factor in RI tax and this is right on point). Go to pick it up and am told my total is now $29 something. Told them the person in the phone said $25 and I just had a pizza and small calzone, they said "well they told you the wrong amount." At this point I didn't want to argue so we took our food home. Calzone was burnt and had a ton of onions. Even though the pizza was good, this wasn't the first time we've ordered only to be told they don't have something anymore. You'd think they'd update their online menu if that's the case. This is a very low class operation the manager has no concept of customer service. Bought a pizza online went to pick it up 20 minutes later and was told it will be a few minutes. Asked several times over 30 minutes where my pizza was because I was late for work and i told them that. was told repeatedly just a few minutes. Now I am late for work so I am rather upset and ask to speak to the manager. The tells me to deescalate or he will not speak to me. Of course now I am livid you make me late for work and then tell me you will not talk to me. I asked for my money back and he goes in the back and sends someone else out with a cold pizza that had been sitting there all this time because no one would go back and ask for or look for it. There were just a few people in the place so it was not anywhere near busy. I very seldom dare to buy here because I OFTEN get this type of service. I live right down the road and I have noticed that business has been falling off here for sometime, I wonder why? Well it dropping by one more because i am NEVER going back no matter how convenient it would be these people are the worst. Oh yes the pizza did not have any flavor even after I reheated it waste of money. Just remember you were warned. Read some other reviews to see what people thing of this place. It is the manager obviously not equal to the task. If he is an owner he is getting what he deserves. The only true traditional "Pizza Parlor" in Wakefield Rhode Island. They even serve pitchers of beer which is something you see less of these days. If only the owner would invest in a jukebox, it would be an atmosphere that most would remember of the days of old. The pizza is good although can be a little inconsistent at times. I guess it depends who's running the ovens. You must eat the pizza there while its hot because for some reason when you get it to go or by delivery it loses its flavor. I have not been able to figure it out because usually pizza taste good cold. The service is always good especially if you are eating before a URI basketball game..they get you out on time everytime! The menu is huge and everything from salads to pizza to pasta and sandwiches are all a good value. Even though the prices have gone up it is still the best value in town. Places like these are hard to find in our area because businesses seem to overcharge here. This is a no frills good ole fashion pizza joint that is a staple for me and my family when we need a fix close to home without emptying my entire wallet. I would recomend giving Tony's a try. This place is going downhill. The servers now wear an obnoxious shade of red (it used to be just black). I don't understand that decision. I visited on a Saturday night with some friends, we ordered a Tony's Special. The food was fine, but it took forever to come out. I've never waited so long when I've been there before. Not sure what was going on. The good news is our waitress Anna was very accommodating and friendly.
