Dined in and service was great. Love the little chilies they have next to a chili sauce and sriracha. Food came out quick and tasted great. They give extra teriyaki sauce in small containers and it's reallllly good. The Salad in our plate wasn't great but we got it replaced with steamed veggies and I loveeee the cabbage Chicken is tender and so is the meat, there was no avocado this last time but usually I add some Fire grilled so no oils is a great option, this is like a top notch wabba grill So yummy! Been coming here since 2016 especially after the gym. Fireee

    Chicken and steak plate

Honestly this place is okay I prefer to go to waba for more quality meat just because their steak was a little too tuff for me to chew. For the chicken it tasted a bit fatty and gave off that chickeny taste, but I will say their teriyaki sauce is really good so I recommend to get extra to over shadow the chicken taste . And as for portion size you can clearly see that they're generous with it especially for the affordable price. All in all I'd go here again in the far future if I ever need something cheap that fills me up and service was quick with no complications. As for the interior they keep it clean in there.

It was 8:30 at night in Murrieta, coming home from football practice, and we decided to stop at TOP GRILL. Same order, same top quality--just like always. You can tell we've been here 30+ times, and they never miss! After eating, we walked down to Delight for some ice cream, and by the time we got back, everything was already done. Fast, fresh, and consistent every single visit. The menu is simple, healthy, and easy to read! Quick and fast service and an easy to navigate menu for the win altogether another five-star performance!

Top Grill is located in a small plaza in a residential area off Margarita Rd and Date St. Their menu is very simple and consists of chicken, beef, salmon, and short ribs that could he made into a plate or bowl combo, kinda like Waba or Flame Broiler. I always get the short ribs or sometimes a beef plate. Proteins are always marinated well and grilled to order. I highly recommend Sriracha w every bite, as it gives it a slight hint of heat and balances the teriyaki flavor w its tart and spice.

Decent. They use fresh ingredients, cooked in non rancid oils, and I can appreciate that. My only two complaints are, for one they don't give you enough sauce to spread around that dry a** meat, and for two they have some of the most watered down boba teas. Two stars deducted for that meat and drink. Sorry but facts.

My wife and I stopped by the top grill for lunch. The food was pretty good, except my wife asked for brown rice and got white. While we were waiting for our food, we noticed that they had one TV and they were showing the movie the Hangover. They had the volume extremely high on the television and everybody in the restaurant could definitely hear it. There was a family sitting in the restaurant with kids two under 10 years. The movie was inappropriate and loaded foul language and unsavory scenes. None of the stuff was appropriate for my wife or myself or especially for those kids. For that reason, my wife and I will not be coming back to top grill. While I was there, I went to purchase an iced tea that was marked $.99 and they tried to charge me two dollars for it. I told the dude at the register it was illegal to upsell commodities that are already priced. Needless to say the 20 year-old man who was making probably $17 an hour, didn't give a crap. Yes, charging more than the marked price of $0.99 for a $2.00 item is illegal in California under deceptive pricing laws, not price gouging, which applies during a declared emergency. Violating the deceptive pricing law is a criminal offense that can lead to fines and imprisonment. Deceptive pricing vs. price gouging Deceptive pricing: This applies when a business charges a price higher than what is advertised, marked, or displayed. GET A CLUE TOP GRILL!!!

Inside. A little dated, needs a refresh
    Mike V.

Restaurant is a little dated, in need of a refresh. Service was good. Chicken was dry and tasted like Salmon. My guess they warmed the chicken in the same spot they warm the salmon.

    Steak Teriyaki with brown rice

Really delicious. Saw the reviews and realized it was just around the corner at a shopping center I never went into. Got the steak bowl with brown rice which was good brown rice as it wasn't dry and hard as it sometimes can be. The steak was tender with a very good teriyaki sauce Service was very quick and efficient though I wouldn't say overly friendly but they were super efficient so that's ok with me. Good value too ! I'll be back

Really good fresh rice bowls. Kind of pricey for what you get but if you get a larger plate you can get 2 meals out of it.

From the TVs and chairs to the overall layout, everything feels thoughtfully put together and the design really comes full circle. And as a military mom, I especially loved the huge American flag. It's stunning and gives the place such a great presence. The bar looked fantastic too. Unfortunately, the food was a major missed opportunity. I had high hopes for the ribeye, but it was thin and nothing particularly special. Honestly, I could've gotten something comparable at Sizzler for half the price. My burger was edible, but the bun tasted cheap, which was disappointing for the price point. And the fries... They were cold, stale, tasted frozen, and honestly seemed like they had been sitting around since yesterday. That's what makes this so frustrating--the restaurant itself has SO much potential. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the location is great, and Temecula desperately needs more places with this kind of vibe. But when the food doesn't match the effort put into the space, it really feels like a missed opportunity. If you're coming from drinks alone - maybe a spot to catch

There were so many things on the menu that sounded amazing. Between us girls we each ordered something different to eat so we had a nice variety. The portions are huge! My meatloaf was so freaking good, the picture did not do it justice at all. My friends got sliders, corned beef and cabbage and a chicken caeser salad, which they all liked as well. Although this place was super busy from the trivia the service was fast and drinks as well as refills came quickly. Food took a bit of time as to be expected. We met up with a buddy from Riverside here as a halfway point, and it turned out to be an amazing spot. Situated right on the scenic Temecula Duck Pond, the restaurant offers an open brewery vibe, a spacious outdoor beer garden, and plenty of room for kids and adults to relax. The Food Breakdown OBC Breadsticks (4-Pack): Delicious and fresh. They come with two dippers--stick to the classic plain garlic butter sauce for the best bite. Lost Traveler's Noodles: Really good. We added the extra shrimp--it pairs amazingly well with the flavorful, slow-roasted pork. OBC Tri-Tip Plate: Cooked to absolute perfection--came out exactly how we like it (medium-rare). Shrimp Tacos: Our friend ordered these when he arrived and completely devoured them. Our server, Amy, was attentive, friendly, and made our visit seamless. Tips: Bring the Whole Family (Dogs Included!): The outdoor patio is extremely kid-friendly and pet-friendly--they even have a "Dog Patty" on the menu for four-legged guests. We stopped for dinner and the did not appear busy. There was plenty of free parking available in the shopping center and indoor/outdoor seating. It was very windy and too cold to eat outside, so we opted to eat inside. There were only four tables to choose from and one bathroom. This became an issue when someone was already using the bathroom, probably blowing it up since it had already been five plus minutes, and both of my kids had to go (we ended up going to Trader Joe's to use the bathroom). The food finally came out. We ordered 2 tri-tip plates, a chicken sandwich, a kids quesadilla w/rice, and 4 drinks. I was concerned about the tri-tip after reading many others complaining about it being overcooked. This was not an issue. The meat came out cooked perfectly, but the pieces were small. The mashed potatoes were good and buttery. The mac & cheese was good and had a nice flavor. The Brussel sprouts were undercooked, hard, and bland. The bread had soaked up the blood from the tri-tip and was soggy gross. The kids quesadilla was literally 2 store bought tortillas and some sprinkled cheddar cheese that wasn't even melted in between. I didn't care for it, but I'm glad my son ate it. Overall, I had high expectations for this place and it was lacking.
