We have had fantastic times in the past at Topgolf. This time was not as great. I wish it could be more consistent. It was lunchtime on Sunday. We looked at the Topgolf App and it said that there was NO WAIT on the App. So we thought, great, let's get over there and order some lunch. But when we got in, the check in desk said no, that there was an hour wait, and that we were on the bottom of the waiting list. So far down at the bottom, that there was a first person couldn't find our request and a second person had to confirm our place on the wait list. So we're hungry and looking at an hour wait, so we decided to leave and get food down the street. About 10 minutes later, we got a text saying that there was a table available. Then our request was canceled immediately afterwards. We had to get back on the wait list. The app said 30 minutes at that point so we get back on the list, and ended up waiting about an hour. This is now two hours past the first time we put our name on the wait list. I don't mind waiting, but please get your staff and app times to coordinate their estimates a little better. I finally let my kids talk me into going to Topgolf with them, we went on a Wednesday and took advantage of half off golf. . My sons play golf and I've always been a little hesitant because, honestly, I was worried I'd be the worst one there. Even though I don't play golf, it was actually really fun and not nearly as intimidating as I thought. They have all these different game modes you can pick from, and even my youngest, who's 7, was able to join in and have a blast learning how to swing and hit the ball. It was surprisingly satisfying once I got the hang of it! We also had a super friendly server who really made the experience great. He was cracking jokes, checking in to make sure we had enough drinks and food, and was just super accommodating overall. We tried a bunch of different food items, and it was a bit of a mix. The cheesy macaroni bites were a hit, they came with ranch and a creamy tomato sauce, and they were super flavorful and cheesy. We loved those. On the other hand, the "Nacho Average Nachos" were kind of a letdown for us. They were more like tostadas with beans, and honestly, none of us really liked them, kind of bland and not our favorite. We saw good reviews on them, but they just didn't do it for us. We also got the Wing Trio (boneless, so we could use forks easily), and those were really good. We had Asian sesame, lemon pepper, and barbecue flavors, and all three were tasty. Another standout was the hot honey pepperoni pizza, it wasn't spicy at all, just delicious and a little sweet, and probably one of my favorites. We did try the chicken katsu sliders, and those were a miss for us, they were a bit too sweet and got soggy, so not really something we'd order again. But we ended on a high note with the Topgolf donut hole-in-ones. You get to inject them with chocolate or Bavarian cream, and my kids absolutely loved them. They were super fun and really delicious. All in all, it turned out to be a super fun outing for the whole family. If you're not a golfer, don't worry it's definitely a place where anyone can have fun. There's a reason this is called Top Golf and not Bottom or Mid Golf, and my experience at the El Segundo location quickly cemented this as one of the Toppiest Golf places I've been to. My party needed to reschedule our reservation and it was a smooth process. All we needed to do was walk-in and go straight to our booth upon arriving. While we experienced some technical difficulties from getting our game started, the staff was kind enough to extend our time slot for us to get our two hours in. We had pretzels for snacks and that was alright, but Jhay(?) was the top server at Top Golf El Segundo. She constantly checked up on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. So five stars for all that they did. For two hours, we played four different types of games. I won two of the four games despite this being my first visit to a Top Golf. But that's my hubris talking. I'm glad my first experience with Top Golf was Top Notch with the Topmost service at the Top Floor. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a good time. read more

Came here for an event and it was nice. We had our own section so they had the food buffet style, but they brought out fresh stuff the whole entire time. I really enjoyed the chicken mini corndogs and the chicken tenders. The service is good once we arrived and the place was clean. It wasn't too crowded yet for Sunday, but it seems like it gets crowded later on during the day like in the evening. I did enjoy myself. I have no complaints. I don't like golf (besides mini), did a driving range once - didn't like it. I am the last person that would make an effort to go to Topgolf. Until one day, my work decided to have their holiday party there and now I cannot stop thinking about Topgolf, can't wait to go back, and am a huge fan - it was so fun! When I first heard we were going I scoped out their social media and my two goals going into the day were 1) Do not let go of my club and 2) Do not fall in the netting. (Thankfully, I did neither!) We had a large group but it was super easy and fast to split up to our various stations and get our instructions and profiles into the system. They had an amazing buffet with so many small bites, chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, potstickers, pretzel bites, and charcuterie! I'm leaving so many out but it's all good! We each got two drinks and the wait staff was super efficient and got our orders correct! I love that the clubs come in various shapes and sizes and heights. The gamification of the course is what makes it so cool so I got Top 6 (behind a real golfer) just because I managed to steer my ball over bonus areas. I am lame. His tone was very mundane over the phone and he wasn't helpful at all. It's hard enough to get in contact with a human after interacting with a virtual agent. In my opinion the virtual agent had more personality than Alex. This is the second time I've spoken with him over the phone and the results were the same. The first time I figured maybe he was having a bad day so I let it go, but to experience the same treatment on a totally different occasion prompted me to write this review. It's a bit pricey, unless you have a coupon or gift card. There are several games - you hit targets and earn point and score the most to win. They have in-house clubs and drivers. They come in 2 lengths. You have the option to bring your own clubs if you'd like. We ordered a couple of their desserts. it took awhile for them to come out - I have a feeling it's a scheme to keep you renting the lane... The food was ok. I wouldn't get it again though. There was plenty of parking and they have EV chargers on premise too. Check your bank/credit card offers to see if they have a cash back offer. It's definitely cheaper to just goto a normal driving range. But if you want the games and atmosphere, this may be for you. read more

All of my family was able to rendezvous here for a weekday birthday celebration. Two hours allowed us to play multiple rounds with a full rotation of people. They offer game modes that even the playing field a bit but definitely a spot to work on your shot. From a golf stand point, if you are not able to get a tee time on a course, it would not be a waste to bring your clubs or gear here to play the game here. The games are fun to play like Super Mario Brothers, Captain America etc. The points can add up quickly and you can take the lead with a few nice swings of the clubs. You can bring your own clubs, but why? This is a fun and casual atmosphere not a real driving range. The food and drinks are great for bar food. It can get pretty loud and with the music playing. Top Golf is an amazing place to have a networking event and this is what I attended. Food was ok , drinks were delicious and the Golfing was so fun! Fun for the beginner. I'm sure people who play consistently on a course probably wouldn't have as much fun. However today was about hanging with Bankers and Brokers. These guys were so good. I haven't read the comments but could almost guess that people are complaining about the price because the parking and service are excellent, good and drinks are good! If you bring a family for food drinks and fun it's going to cost you. Prepare to pay $75- $100 a person for 2 hours with tip an and tax. Not cheap at all. One of the worst customer service from the events team. We hosted my son's 6th birthday couple weeks ago after having a discussion over the phone with Alyssa, their sales manager. We spent several thousands here. Tacky on the managers part. No updates, poor communication + response and they followed up the day before the party with a comical automated single sentence - "We look forward to hosting you!" Why was there no mention of bays being moved upstairs for a group of 2-6 years old?!?! Many questions left unanswered, no notice of bays being moved and then one of the screens didn't even work for players! ITS 175$ PER BAY PER HOUR FOR EVENTS AND THEIR SCREEN WAS BROKEN!
