We came here with a group of friends and had such a fun time. One of my friends brought their one-year-old, and even baby Joey was having a blast lol, which made it even better. Our reservations is at 3pm, but honestly even if you don't have one and the wait is an hour or two, it's still not bad. There are TVs everywhere and a bar area where you can hang out while you wait. This time we were on the third floor, and I actually liked it more than being on the ground level. The vibe just felt a little better up there. Food was, as always, really good. We ordered boneless wings with fries, chips and salsa with guac, and a few drinks. My husband and I skipped alcohol this time since we gave it up for a lent, but honestly it didn't make a difference since we are not big drinkers like we used to and we still had the best time! Jarvis was helping us and he was super nice and attentive the whole time. Thanks so much, Jarvis! It also wasn't too packed, which I loved--just the right amount of people. I like that there's a bar on each floor too, so you never feel crowded in one area. Overall, we always have a great time here. Definitely one of our go-to spots and can't wait to come back again! Super Love!!

I've been seeing the new Topgolf in El Segundo near me and finally decided to give it a try. I reserved a bay for an hour and a half and showed up on the day of my booking. The parking lot was pretty full since the place was busy, but it's a large lot so it wasn't hard to find parking. Once inside, the place looked really nice and the staff greeted us right away. Customer service was friendly and helpful. They showed us where our bay was, and once we got settled a server came over to help us log in and also offered to take any food or drink orders. We ordered some tacos along with the pita and hummus. Quite honestly, for a place where you're golfing and constantly touching golf clubs, there seemed to be a lot of finger foods on the menu. The food was cool, nothing special, but still enjoyable enough for the experience. The whole setup was really smooth and the staff made everything easy. I've actually never played golf or swung a golf club before, but it ended up being really fun and easy to pick up. The atmosphere inside was great and the overall ambience made it a fun place to hang out. My only small critique would be the pricing. I understand why it's expensive given the experience and the venue, but it could probably be slightly cheaper. Overall though, I had a great time and would definitely come back again.

I've been to several locations, and this one is definitely my favorite. One thing I will say, going midweek during the day is the way to do it. It was hardly anyone there, so we received great service. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and I loved that it was practically empty. Overall, such a nice, relaxed experience.

Came here yesterday for the first time. It was not what I expected, in a good way. You don't have to be a golfer to enjoy Topgolf. It's setup so that people of all ages and skill levels can play. The food is shockingly good. I actually regret having Korean bbq before coming here. I arrived already stuffed. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried out including the Queso Blanco with Chips, Mediterranean Trio, and Cheesy Macaroni Bites. It's clear that Topgolf aims to not only provide a exceptionally fun golfing experience, but create a spot where family and friends can come together, eat tasty food, socialize, and have a fun time. I love this place. Can't wait to come back.

First time up to swing a golf club

I never saw myself golfing. Never, ever. I've now been here 3x with various parties and it is so much more fun than I thought it would be! I love that the bays are rather like little private cabana areas for your group. I love the open air feel. I think the games added to the golfing increase the fun for those of us who have never swung a club, but the golfing pros also seemed to get a kick out of it. The food and drink are on the pricey side, but it is pretty good so at least you aren't ordering the equivalent of amusement park junk food. Great for families, groups of adults, parties. You name it.

Had a blast! Super fun, super clean, and easy to navigate! The food was pretty good, and it was a cool experience for my first time doing top golf. I came for someone's kid's party, so it wasn't competitive or anything. It took a second to figure out which club I needed, and the differences between the clubs. After that, things went pretty smoothly. I like the digital gaming interface. My swings and aim got better with each round. The place was clean and the layout gives you the ability to chill even if you sit out a few rounds. Lots of parking available (like, a ton), clean bathrooms, and friendly, attentive staff. I could see myself coming back for sure (maybe on someone else's dime because it was kinda pricey). There's also tons of merch if you're into that.

First time here and I had a good time. This was a co-worker get together for the holidays. Let's jump right into this review. Topgolf is on PCH Hwy in the city of El Segundo. Topgolf has music, giant targets, giant TVs, and hand-crafted food & drinks. It's a good time waiting to happen. All skill levels welcome. Pros 1. Free parking. Whoop, whoop! So many establishments charge for parking nowadays. 2. Three floors. Spacious bays. High top tables/booths in bays to sit, enjoy, and eat. 3. Anyone can play. Games are fun. The extra large clubs are perfect for beginners. 4. Food is pretty good. Many options. It's the usual small bites and party food - flatbreads, nachos, tacos, wings, etc. - all the goodies! * Vegan, Vegetarian & Gluten free options * 5. Bathrooms were clean. Cons 1. There aren't many game options. Only one game you can play between two bays if you have a larger group. I forgot the name but it isn't Angry Birds. Things to know - Reserving online is best. This way you get the day/time you likely want. Golf lessons are offered. It's expensive. Price to golf is per hour. Food is standard prices for a such a venue. It's an experience you are paying for.

Came for the practice range left with a satisfied appetite! This was my first time coming to Topgolf! Man was it worth all the hype?! Absolutely was a blast and a definitely something I've been wanting to check out! The entire experience overall was fantastic, the whole setup they have going on here is hands down probably one of the better driving range experiences I've ever been too. We rented out two lanes on the 3rd floor for a hour or so. Each lane has its own clubs and touch screen to get your party setup and going. The range has a nice setup for practicing your accuracy and your distance. They also have fun games you can play with your friends or family that is part of the tablet and whole tv experience, when you rent out the tee pad. My favorites of the food side of things were, the shrimp tacos, deep fried Mac and cheese bites with marinara dipping sauce, pepperoni pizza with hot honey on top, and the traditional wings with the Asian sauce! All of these were absolutely delicious would definitely order again.

1 star. Manager Kinsey made what should have been a fun first Topgolf experience for my parents extremely disappointing. Despite making a reservation, we were placed on the very edge in the worst spot on the bottom floor while many better bays remained empty the entire time, supposedly reserved for guests who never arrived. When we asked to switch, staff refused and were dismissive throughout the visit, and Kinsey was completely unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate us at all. After reading other Yelp reviews, it seems this is a common issue with reservations and customer service. Definitely not the experience I wanted for my parents' first visit, and unfortunately we won't be returning.

Recently I came here for a company event. Topgolf basically turns the boring mini golf into more of an arcade style experience. [Parking]: Huge designated parking lot and I had no issue finding an available spot. [Price]: To reserve a hitting bay, 120 minutes for 4 players = $80 on weekdays to $160 on weekends. Each bay can fit up to 6 players max. [What to expect]: Each player must provide an email to register before starting the 1st game. Afterward players can use the touchscreen to choose different game modes. Depending on which game mode, you do not need to be good at golf in order to win. For example, anyone can win at the game called 'Block Party' as long as they understand what to aim in order to achieve a high score. [Food]: Topgolf offered catering - food tasted solid, but desserts were far too sweet for my taste. [Conclusion]: Topgolf is a very beginner friendly golfing experience that can be fun, but I will have to admit at some point some of my coworkers got bored & tired of swinging golf clubs by the 2nd / 3rd hour and ended up just chit-chat on the side. To maximize the experience, I recommend beginners to stick with the 120-minute option before making an extra commitment for an extended session.

Went to Topgolf in El Segundo and played on the second floor. The setup was clean and the views from the bays gave a nice angle on the targets. The screens were easy to use and the tracking felt accurate which made the games more fun. The staff kept things moving and checked in without hovering. The pace was relaxed and it was easy to switch between games and just hit for fun. The second floor had a good balance of being high enough for a better line of sight but not too far from the action below. Highly recommend

Topgolf had become one of our favorite places to visit with kids. It's a bit pricey, but always a good time. Our kids love swinging the club and hitting golf balls, almost as much as they love the outdoor areas. The turf lawns with games and lots of places to stretch out are perfect to get the wiggles out. The food is also always on point. Their wings are my favorite. The servers are always helpful and knowledgeable. Overall it's a great vibe for families, and/or friend events.

First time celebrating my birthday at Topgolf and it was 100% amazing! I had so much fun with my husband and friends. The food is always solid here--those chicken wings were delicious, and the drinks were really good too. There was a bit of a hiccup with one of our friend's orders (it took a few tries to get it right, which wasn't great), but I really appreciated that they didn't charge us for it. Shoutout to our server and his pal Jacob--both of them took great care of us and made sure everything else came out right. Definitely a 10/10 for their service! I love coming to Topgolf because it's always a fun time, no matter the occasion. Thank you for such a great birthday experience I'll definitely be back soon!

    Ask the Community - Topgolf

If I have two bays and a slightly bigger group is there enough common area directly behind the bays for folks to hang out?

Yes. I would request an area that has the high top tables/chairs which should give you ample space to hangout.

Should we add tip on food/drinks only or on all items including game play?

    I did only on food

    Do they check bags?

    Mine were not checked.

Is the black bean patty vegan?

Is there a normal driving range available for practice?

Some mornings during the week, you can use the driving range for practice at a community rate

    Are toddlers allowed?

Kids are allowed I took my 6 and 8 year old.

How is the noise level? Is there music playing? Would it be possible to carry conversation with friends at a bay?

It is a bit loud. You do have to raise your voice to talk to someone on the bay. A level of 1-10 of loudness, it is at a 7.

Has anyone done a kids birthday party here? I'd like to book one for my child but the reviews regarding service and food seem mediocre. Please lmk!

I do not remember seeing any children when I went but it does look like you can have a kid's party there. https://topgolf.com/us/plan-an-event/parties/

Perched above the Manhattan Beach Pier, this longtime local favorite has one of those views that makes you immediately forget whatever minor problem you had before walking in. Traffic? Gone. Emails? Gone. That text message you were supposed to answer three days ago? Also gone. All replaced by floor to ceiling windows, the Pacific Ocean, and a sunset that looks suspiciously like someone adjusted the saturation settings on reality. We stopped in for cocktails before dinner elsewhere, and honestly, it took a fair amount of self discipline to leave. The bar itself strikes that perfect Manhattan Beach balance between polished and relaxed. Contemporary without feeling cold. Stylish without trying too hard. Large enough for a lively crowd, yet comfortable enough to settle in and watch the evening unfold. Upstairs feels like an elevated coastal lounge, while downstairs carries a bit more energy and nightlife spirit as the evening progresses. A special shoutout goes to Jeffrey behind the bar. Jeffrey is exactly the kind of bartender you hope to find when you sit down somewhere new. Friendly, relaxed, knowledgeable, and able to make a cocktail that tastes like it was crafted by someone who actually enjoys making cocktails. The Old Fashioned was particularly memorable. Too many bars treat an Old Fashioned like a chemistry experiment gone wrong. Too sweet. Too bitter. Too medicinal. Too much of something. Jeffrey's version was balanced, smooth, and effortless. The kind of cocktail that quietly reminds you why the drink became famous in the first place. Around us, the room was buzzing. Large business groups celebrated victories. Friends gathered for sunset drinks. Couples leaned in over cocktails while pretending not to notice the spectacular view behind them. The atmosphere felt vibrant without becoming overwhelming. And then there was that view. The Manhattan Beach Pier stretching into the Pacific. The changing colors of the sky. The waves rolling in below. You almost find yourself staring out the windows between sips like a tourist seeing the ocean for the first time. The Strand House has been part of the South Bay dining scene for years, and after spending an evening here, it's easy to understand why. It's not trying to be trendy. It's not chasing the latest fad. It simply delivers a great setting, great drinks, and an experience that feels effortlessly Southern California. If you're looking for a sunset cocktail in Manhattan Beach, stop searching. So incredibly creamy, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of heat. My daughter orders this every time it's on a menu, and this is by far the best I've ever tasted. SO good. We had mentioned we were celebrating our twins' birthday, and they were served two lovely pieces of chocolate cake with a candle, AND a card for each of them signed by the staff. Never have I experienced that before for a birthday in a restaurant! Just a great touch. I am SO glad my daughter suggested we go here, and every time we're in town we will return. Cannot recommend it enough!!!!

The first thing I noticed about Manhattan Beach Post was the plants. Not because there were a few…read moreplants. Lots of restaurants have a few plants. These plants appeared to have union representation. They're everywhere. Hanging from things. Growing out of things. Quietly observing your meal. The whole place feels like someone built a really nice restaurant and then let nature move in as a long term tenant. The room hums. Not loudly. Not aggressively. Just enough. Glasses clink. People lean into conversations. Servers weave through the room carrying plates that look heavy enough to alter their center of gravity. Nobody seems rushed. Everybody seems busy. It's a difficult balance. The biscuits arrived first. Now, I'd heard about the biscuits. People talk about these biscuits the way fishermen talk about the one that got away. Slightly dramatic. A little emotional. Hard to verify. Turns out the stories were true. Warm bacon cheddar biscuits with maple butter. I took one bite and immediately understood why people order a second round. The outside has just enough structure to remind you it's baked. The inside is soft enough to make you wonder whether butter has secretly become a building material. We ordered another. Not because we needed another. Because apparently that's what happens here. The creamy polenta showed up next and felt like the culinary equivalent of a weighted blanket. Comforting. Smooth. Relaxed. The sort of dish that encourages you to slow down and stop checking your phone. The duck was one of my favorites. Lightly fried with crisp skin and tender meat, resting on white Italian beans and rosemary. It felt like something a French chef would cook after spending a weekend in the countryside and becoming briefly inspired by fresh air. At some point you stop evaluating food and simply nod in agreement with it. This was one of those moments. Dessert was equally dangerous. The olive oil cake arrived with strawberries and disappeared much faster than logic suggested it should. The cheesecake somehow managed to be rich and light at the same time, which feels like it should violate a law of physics somewhere. Service deserves its own mention. The whole team operates like a group project where everyone actually did their part. Plates appeared when they should. Water glasses mysteriously refilled themselves. Questions were answered without anyone making you feel like you should already know the answer. The chef's French influence shows up everywhere, but not in a showy way. Nothing feels complicated for the sake of being complicated. Everything feels like somebody spent a lot of time thinking about it so you wouldn't have to. By the end of the meal, I realized Manhattan Beach Post had done something difficult. It felt special without feeling serious. You can dress up. You can come casually. You can celebrate something important or absolutely nothing at all. Just order the biscuits. The plants already know you're going to.

Some dishes could've been executed better. Going down the list of dishes I had here: - Bacon Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits: These were more like scones rather than biscuits. Crunchy with good bacon and cheddar flavor. - Japanese Hamachi Crudo: Unique and I liked the citrusy flavor and creamy texture. However, 3 small slices of fish for $26 was overpriced. - Leafy Greens & Radicchio: Solid and crispy salad with a nice tangy dressing. The cheese also added a lot of sharp flavor which was nice. - Skirt Steak: Good flavor and char, but a bit tough. Also some dry pieces. - Chilean Sea Bass: Lemon orzo risotto was creamy and delicious. The sea bass itself was okay, nothing special. It felt overpowered by the risotto. The fish was moist and flaky though. - 20 Oz Prime Beef Ribeye: Quality was subpar relative to price. Portion size was solid by the steak itself was inconsistent. Some of the pieces were rarer while others were more well-done even though we asked for medium rare. There were also some dry pieces which I did not like. Flavor was good though. - Strawberry and Olive Oil Cake: Was confused since there was just a thin layer of cake, but realized the title also referred to the mousse. I would title it 'Strawberry Mousse with Olive Oil Cake" to make it less confusing. Regardless, this was a delicious dessert! Love the fruity strawberry and savory pistachio flavors as well as the smooth textures. - S'mores sundae: Got this on the house for my aunt's birthday. A generous portion but the components were a bit too sweet for my liking. I visited this restaurant for a birthday that I organized and my experience was overall good. Reservation was made easy using OpenTable and I could also mention it was for a birthday occasion. The ambiance was gorgeous with good mood lighting. Good for group and 1 on 1 dining. Parking is metered or street parking. Overall, I probably wouldn't come out of my way to dine here again, but my experience wasn't bad just not significant enough to put in my rotation. Would come back if someone treated me here though.

Came through for happy hour with me, the Mrs., and two friends and we basically made it our mission…read moreto run the entire happy hour menu top to bottom... and I'm telling you right now: it didn't miss once. Every round that hit the table was a "pass it around, everybody try this" moment. The kind of happy hour where you're not just snacking -- you're accidentally having a full-on dinner because you can't stop ordering "one more thing." Food: Legit. Everything we tried was solid, but the wings were the standout for me -- the kind you keep reaching for even when you tell yourself you're good. Great flavor, cooked right, and they held their own against any wing spot that claims they're "known for wings." Whatever they're doing back there, keep doing that. Service / experience: This is where they really won. Trent was our guy tonight and I can't say enough about him. Manager supreme is the right title -- he wasn't just checking boxes, he was running the whole experience. He served, suggested, kept the pacing perfect, and made it feel effortless while still being locked in the entire time. You can tell when someone actually cares that your night is going well, and Trent is that dude. Major asset to this business and the kind of manager that turns first-time visits into "we're coming back next week." Atmosphere was exactly what you want for Manhattan Beach happy hour: lively, comfortable, easy to settle in, and perfect for a group. We came to try the menu and ended up staying for the vibe. Only complaint -- and it's not even on them, it's on the "beach cities trying to save the world one soggy sip at a time" vibe -- the paper straws. I swear those things last 11 minutes before they turn into a wet napkin. Let me live, Rockerfellas Bottom line: If you want a happy hour that actually delivers, Rockerfellas is it. Bring friends, come hungry, and if you get Trent taking care of you? You're in elite hands. We'll be back.

If I can tack on a 1/2 star or 1/2 point above, I would. And the only reason WHY I am not giving a…read morefull 5-star rating is because of The Rockefeller's cockamamie rule of "yes, we're dog friendly" but "you can't have your dog or your party block the sidewalk" and "we're not allowed to have the chairs out to here (indicating a particular distance on the sidewalk)", etcetera, etcetera. GIve me a break. JUST SAY that The Rockefeller isn't dog-friendly and be done with it, ok? By the way, this incident WAS on Mother's Day 2026, so the staff was particularly overwhelmed. . . so there's that timing. On a previous time my husband and I had brunch here about 4-5 months ago, we DID take our little doggie without any issue. So the staff either has to get their stories straight for next time or just say that The Rockefeller IS dog-friendly, BUT ONLY for a two- or one-person party. Other than that, The Rockefeller's Chilaquiles are phenomenal. It was flavorful and filling. Also, the Bacon & Eggs (two eggs, any style) -- which I had my eggs over-easy -- were outstanding. Bottom-line: Don't bring your dog. It's just too complicated for The Rockefeller to handle. Leave your dog at home.
