we Lived in thailand for 4 years and we are really picky with thai food especially here in the usa. In my opinion, topthai is the most authentic thai resto foodwise in sacramento, believe me ive been to several thai restaurants in sacramento area looking for that authentic flavor but nothing came close until i tried topthai here in lincoln. being from phuket, i recommend getting the panang curry in seafood option. pad krapao with egg and plain rice! pad thai is on point ask lime to add in flavor and lastly was blown away with the thai boat noodle soup (so far the best i had here in california). aroi mak mak. will be returning here weekly. read more

Food is delicious, service needs improvement. Refills on sodas should be a given since it's $3.00 and they fill it pretty much all the way with ice. We would definitely be regulars (at least once a week) if refills were provided. This won't keep us from coming, but it's not a good business strategy. The most delicious, hot, fresh Thai food. Welcomed immediately we ordered Fried spring rolls, Khao Soi, and Pad Thai. Everything came out piping hot and freshly made. They gave us the grand opening 10% off. They have a great value lunch menu. We can't wait to go back and try the Tom Yum and Spicy Papaya Salad. So much to choose from. Pretty good Thai food I must say! We got take out and was pleased with the taste and overall experience. I sincerely appreciate the access to their menu, both on their Yelp page and a downloaded menu. Friendly staff when we arrived to pay. The restaurant looks really clean and new; can't wait to try it out one of these days. My only complaint was that I felt like I got rushed off the phone when I was placing an order so they ended up missing an entree item. So maybe have them read your order back to you or check before you leave the restaurant. Definitely will be back! read more

I have been to Topthai Kitchen a couple times, the staff have always been very pleasant. The food is really good, very tasty and with the right spices. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends that like Asian Cuisine. Unlike most Asian cuisine, Thai food is known to be very spicy but unless you specify how hot you want the dish, they don't spice it up. Overall, very good food and an awesome staff. I wish this restaurant good fortune and a prosperous. Recently, I got to dine in their establishment and the service was spot on. Now dining in! First off, the staff was very friendly and courteous. They just remodeled the interior, and it's very nice looking and clean. The kiddos started off with some pot stickers, spring rolls and satay, and you would have thought they hadn't eaten all week by the way they scarfed them down! We ordered stir fried green beans, green curry, and paradise chicken, and our three year old mentioned that she wanted shrimp, but we didn't order any since we had a full meal. The stir fried green beans were crisp and flavorful, the green curry was creamy and tasty, and the paradise chicken...dang, that was good!! To top it all off, our sweet server surprised our little one with some shrimp with princess sauce (plum sauce) ;) it made her whole day! She was so excited! We were sad when Happy Garden left this location and were wondering if or what was going to take its place. Wonder no more! Got us a nice little Thai place now. Wife and I checked it out on Super Bowl Sunday for lunch. On a day like this we were the only customers which was nice. Could even hear them cooking my food in the back. Order chicken pad Thai medium heat and the orange mango chicken with a side of jasmine rice. Food was good and fresh. The service was also very kind and friendly. Upon walking in, we were struck by the casual elegance of the place. Modern yet comfortable. And non of that kitschy stuff that you see in too many Asian restaurants. The food at this place is fresh and all the dishes we tried were delicious. To start we had the cucumber salad followed by spring rolls which were large and served with a yummy peanut sauce. We also tried the drunken noodles, mango curry, and a chicken dish along with some rice. All items included generous helpings served family style . Each had a mouth watering flavor and the service was great. My brother says this is the BEST Thai food in California and he has tried many. The portions were huge for the pad thai and the curry was quite a bit as well. I can say they give you tons of food here. The pad thai is good for 2 ppl - lunch portion! The red curry was enough for 2 people for 2 meals! I say that's a deal in my book. The pad thai was okay for us. It was missing flavor and spices. We did mention mild, but it was lacking fish sauce and that salty goodness as well as acid The red curry was really good. We also asked for mild and it came mild, but got a little kick, which was nice. The pork was tender and yummy. We'd order this again, not so much the pad thai. I absolutely love Thai food and moving here from So Cal, I was afraid of not finding Thai in Lincoln or within a few miles. Their food is the freshest I've ever had and I've eaten at hundreds of Thai places! One thing; if it notes with a hot pepper or stating "hot" next to the menu item, it's blazin hot so tell your server how much heat you like! They can always heat it up for you, if you want!
