The indoor dining area is on the small side but now that the weather is warming up there is a great patio area that is open. The menu is varied with great choices...give it a try. Had the opportunity to dine at Torme, in Prescott, AZ. Such a wonderful dining experience. Nice variety on the menu, quaint indoor seating with large patio seating as an option. Barry Barbe has done an excellent job of transforming the previous space into an inviting eatery and of course featuring a superb cuisine. Currently they are open Monday and Tuesday 11am -8pm and Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays 11am-3pm. Reservations highly suggested. read more

Excellent homemade gourmet pasta with great service in a charming setting. The owner Barry Barbe is very welcoming and gracious. Tons of great menu options. The mushroom ravioli is amazing and I love the steak tartare. The outdoor patio is elegant and inviting with soothing Italian music piped in. My wife and I have dined there several times together and with friends and have never been disappointed. I attended a lunch with eight of my lady friends. We had great service and food while sat outside on their beautiful patio. I had the shells with broccoli and shrimp, and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce wasn't too rich and the shrimp were some of the best shrimp I have had in a long time. My friends rate the restaurant after each of these luncheon and my friends raided it either four or five stars I would definitely go back there and was surprised by how large the patio area was. This could also be a wonderful event venue. read more

We were excited to try Torme since I've been reading so much about it. It's a small restaurant, with high energy. There is an outside dining area as well. We had made reservations, but when we arrived we were told that it would be about 20-30 minutes before we would be seated. We weren't the only surprised that the reservation really didn't assure us seating on time (or close to it). This was very disappointing, especially since it was raining and there is basically no waiting area. Once our turn came up, we were asked if we wouldn't mind being seated outside (no one was budging from inside) and assured us it was covered. Sadly the covering consists of large outdoor umbrellas, which obviously don't work in the rain. The table and chairs were wet, didn't even dry them off before bringing us to the table. Thank goodness the rain stopped or those of us outside would have been eating in the kitchen. A highlight was that we had a very personable and efficient server (Courtney I think is her name) and she was fabulous. Prosecco by the glass was a nice touch. I ordered the ravioli, and although very good, I think they can trim back the sauce since I didn't really taste the actually pasta. But the sauce was delish. I really wanted to like this restaurant, and perhaps I'll try again in a few months. read more

Finally stopped by with a friend for lunch. Our table was ready when we arrived and we were immediately greeted by our waitress. Herb bread with spreadable cheese and yummy carrots were served while we perused the menu. So many choices! We both chose pasta dishes with lots of fresh vegetables and mushrooms, which included salmon or shrimp. A carafe of water with a large sprig of mint was left at our table. Nice touch. It's a bit of a challenge to sit on the patio on a windy day but we could actually have a conversation due to the generous table spacing. Reasonable prices and outstanding service. We will be back with our friends! read more

Our book club met here for lunch after our meeting--our "food for thought" was followed by good food! It was a blustery day, so, unlike most of the patrons today, we dined indoors. Several posts here have been concerned that indoor seating is limited, but we were seated at a table next to the bar which could have accommodated eight people. Between the seven of us, we ordered the Oversized Egg Pasta Ravioli, Shells Fumo con Gombero, and the pasta special for the day. Everyone loved their meal: they were all excellent. The portions were huge and prices very reasonable. Not only that, Torme may be the ONLY restaurant on the planet (certainly in Prescott) where you can actually have a conversation and be heard! Thanks to no background music (a first!) and low ceilings, the acoustics were exceptional. And since our group loves to talk (not scream over the typical restaurant noise), this will likely be our go-to restaurant after our meeting each month. read more

Went to Lunch yesterday without a reservation. Barry Barbe has done it again. The food was outstanding. He did an awesome job remodeling the old Rustic Pie building. The patio area was beautifully done. Our waitress Heather was very attentive and a pleasure to have taking care of us. We sat indoors since it was windy that day and the ambiance was very nice. I didn't have any issues with the noise level. It was not loud when we were there. I would highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Barry is the man! All of his restaurants are top shelf. I went to Torme a couple days ago with a colleague and were greeted and seated by a friendly staff member. We were given time and not rushed as we ordered and the food was delicious. As I was eating, I looked up and Barry was cleaning the windows in the building! That is probably what I like best about his restaurants. No pun intended... he, "clearly" is invested at every level of his businesses!! read more

Olivia called and confirmed our reservation, day of dining, she was very nice on the phone. Curb appeal was clean, greeted by Olivia when we walked in, seated at a nice table for 6 outside. Hannah was a great server, very prompt, took our drink order right away. The mussels (special for the night) were the best ever, with a nice glass of chilled chardonnay! Pasta Pizzaioli was an amazing unique dish with lots of flavor! Great with an 805! Barry, the owner came to our table to greet us and that is always a treat! My husband and I have heard some good things about Torme so we decided to try Torme for my birthday on 7/20. I'll start with the unassuming front. We didn't know which door to go through but found it easily enough. They sat us in the room where the bar is and had a window table. The first thing my husband said was "there are a ton of flys on the window behind you" I turned around and they were everywhere but they weren't bothering me so we ignored it. Our waitress was was very attentive and gave us time to look at the menu. The menu is limited but looks pretty nice, not the usual Italian fare but I'm not sure I would consider this an Italian restaurant. Maybe more of a twist on Italian. I order the Montepuciano wine which was a very nice wine. While eating our dinner salad I mentioned that it was quite warm which my husband said there are 2 AC units in the other room and he could feel the cool air but where i was sitting it got quite warm which makes me uncomfortable and makes the wine uninviting when your hot. And now that food was on the table (salads), the flys decided to visit. Our food was served before we finished our salad which I wish wait staffs in all restaurants would not do that. Give us time to digest the salad. Anyway our food was served which I have to say despite the flys and heat, the food was quite good. I had the spinach fettuccine with smoked salmon and my husband had a sausage and peppers dish. He said it was good but not by his Italian families standards for sausage and peppers. Because the flys and heat we decided to take dessert home with us. We got the lemon tart and a chocolate something. Very disappointed at how small the serving sizes were for the desserts, both together are the sizes one gets at other restaurants. The lemon tart was just a lemon Meringue pie with out the meringue. The chocolate was good and very rich. Anyway, our overall view is the food is good, wait staff is nice and attentive but for the price, we doubt we will be back especially because of the flys and the heat. Four of us visited the newly opened Torme today for lunch. It is a fabulous rustic Italian restaurant, the bread is made in house along with the slaw and cheese spread it came with. Everything from pasta to salads is made in the house, our server JOHN was over the top great. I would highly recommend going to Torme! Went to Torme for the second time this afternoon. Decided to try it for lunch. Can't say I'm impressed. The first time was for dinner and we sat outside. The flies were absolutely overwhelming. The food was good but not great. Thought I'd give it another try with several girlfriends. This time we chose to sit inside. It was hot inside the restaurant and there are still flies inside because of the doors being opened and closed to serve the tables outside. Between the flies and the hot restaurant it was a turn off. Again, the food is good but not great. The staff is not very friendly so for me between the mediocre food, the heat the flies and unfriendly staff I won't be going back. Other ladies in our party said they won't go back again in summer. They might try it again when the weather cools off and there are no flies. The outdoor seating area could be so cute if they could figure out a way to mitigate the flight issue. I don't like to Compete with flies for my food. I think I'm done. read more

I made a reservation for 7 for dinner and was greeting by Olivia who was the hostess. She greeted us with a smile and sat us right away as well as recommended items on the menu as it was our first time. We were then greeted with our server who was Christina and to say she was inattentive to our table is an understatement. She stopped by first with our starters and explained the bread plate to us but did not smile once and was short with us. She seemed in a rush and like she did not care. We got our food after a bit which was good but a bit cold like it had been sitting out for a while. We finished our food and got our check which we had asked to be split and was not. We called over the hostess who was very helpful and said she would get it split and run the card for us right away. I tipped on the check and wrote a note to split with the hostess as she was very helpful and seemed more attentive than the actual waitress we had. The dining experience was good but our waitress just seemed in a rush and like she could not care less about making sure we were happy with the service. Will happily dine again with hopefully another waitress. read more
