Parking was a bit sketchy because almost all of the spaces are reserved for different tenants of the building. They are also sized for small cars. Anyway, I went in and ordered a torta to go. Took a few minutes as I could hear them cooking behind a big wall. You can hear the kitchen bit can't see it. Odd layout of the space. Pretty spartan dining area, which was fine since I wanted it to go. Torta was tasty and well put together. Good quality bread, more french or viet style than Mexican. I ordered a chorizo and egg breakfast burrito to go. I picked up my order and took it to work to eat it, when I opened the plastic bag it was soaked with oil. Everything was soaked in oil, I opened the foil where my burrito was and it was soaked in oil I couldnt eat it. If you order a torta ahogada, you must eat it there. I had to assemble the torta once I got home and while everything was packed well (sealed, no leaks), the bread was pretty tough. Not sure if it's because the bread wasn't heated due to the fact that it was a to-go order. The carnitas was a bit dry, but once the sauce was poured in and on top of torta, it was just one messy meal to eat. The red chile sauce was very spicy which I liked very much. The chilaquiles w/ green sauce was more of a soup. I loved the fact that they seemed to have packed the bowl up, but it was considered a soup for me. There were no rice, but had pinto beans, the verde sauce, the fried tortillas, queso, and the egg. The egg were cooked perfectly; I enjoy my eggs a bit runny. When I ordered, the lady that took my order did not ask me if I wanted to dine there or take it to-go. Since she did not ask me, I was anticipating on enjoying my late lunch there, but it was neatly bagged when my order was brought out to me. No big deal.
