Everything is super customizable starting with the base, you can pick from 5 different noodles and rice or brown rice, to the sauces or broth you would like, and the different proteins to add. If you choose the wok style, everything comes with an egg and mixed veggies stir fry. I opted for the Hokkien noodles, with the Thai and Malay seasoning wok style with combination protein. I love the thickness and chewy-ness of the Hokkien noodles, I feel they cling to the sauce more and leaves for a scrumptious and flavorful bite. I do love everything about the bowl, it's very flavorful and decadent and will leave you stuffed! The only thing is, once you work through about half of your bowl, it just starts to feel so heavy. It's also where the rest of the sauce seasoning is so it started to get/feel really greasy. I almost felt guilty eating it by that point. The pan fried noodles always come with veggies and scrambled egg. You can tell the veggies are fresh, so that's a plus one for quality. The sauces are yummy and savory. The experience was a 3 I was unaware that you order online or by phone. When we arrived we placed the order through the QR code. The food wait said 15 minute but it turned out to be 35min wait. The lady told us when we asked about our order that was it made wrong. So the experience alone was a bit disappointing. This place is definitely comfort food. I got the hokkien noodle with Thai sauce and chicken. I thought it was a bit spicy but then again my level of spicy is low. It made the perfect left overs for the following day. I placed a to go order for my friend and I during the afternoon on a weekday. They were able to have our food ready in just 10 minutes! There is a lot of metered parkings nearby, but it can get quite full and you might have to walk a bit. We got 2 orders of the hokkien noodles with Thai sauce and chicken as well as a side order of veggie steamed dumplings. We both enjoyed our noodles, but felt that there was some broccolis that weren't cooked all the way. It was a bit hard so I didn't end up eating it. All the other veggies were fine though. The veggie steamed dumplings were so delicious! They were cooked perfectly and the sauce it came with went along with it so well. I've come here a couple times and this small mishap isn't a big deal. The Tofu was fresh, which tasted fresh-not sour and did not change the true flavor of my sauce. Susanna chose HokKien Noodles with Chinese sauce, all noodle dishes come with veggies. I prefer the Spinach Noodles, they are Al dente compared to the soft Hohkien noodles. The filtered water is a plus, the sauces were not salty, just right. For me, I chose the Hokkien noodles wok-tossed Chinese style with tofu and it was freaking delicious. The flavor was great and I loved the large chunks of tofu. The serving size was pretty great too, I could barely finish. My sister chose the rice noodle in Tom Yum soup and it was pretty tasty too, especially the Tom Yum soup. My only complaint is that I wish it would come with more dipping sauce. For noodles, I got hokkien noodles with half Thai and half Malay sauce and tofu. The noodles were good but not anything special. I feel like next time I would want to try the wheat noodles cause those looked great! As for the sauces: absolutely fire. My friend recommended that I combine the two and it was so delicious. The Thai sauce is spicy and Malay is a peanut sauce so the two of them together was a great combo. Give me all the noods!!! By far my favorite noodle bar place in the Bay Area! My go to's are Hokkien or Flat noodles with Japanese sauce and combo or beef. The sauce hasn't been too heavy all the 20+ times I've gone. I love the veggies and egg that is added and then for the combo you have shrimp, beef, tofu, and all that goodness. Tofu is firm and adds a good texture and usually is well seasoned. They also have bottled beers and house made drinks like Thai tea that go well with the noods. Appetizers are pretty good too! I wouldn't say this is the most authentic Asian spot, but it's clean, convenient and gets the job done! You choose rice or noodle (and even a fried rice option), style which includes Thai, Chinese, Malay, soup, curry and so on, and then add your protein. I usually opt for one of their chef's special. Their eggplant basil is delicious, as well as the cashew. If you like it hot, I'd request it to be spicy as these dishes don't have much heat. They have beer and wine. Apps: the vegetable dumplings aren't great, but get a pork skewer or two. They are delicious! Well the bowl is full of noodles that are dry a touch of sauce a shortage on the vegetables and tofu big shortage on the meats One shrimp when in the box I would get two.
