Indoor dining has been allowed again. Their customer service is on point. My and my 2 boys came in to meet with our other friends family. Heads up, they only allow 6 ppl in one big table. To start off, I could tell that this location was definitely busy, this my interest was sparked. Although, there was a 20-25 minute wait to start, this estimate did not include the 15-20 minute wait at the table until one was asked about beverages or entrees. Not to mention the undercooked vegetables, nor utensils with the meal, which we had to ask servers for, twice. Sadly my girlfriend lost her appetite and ended up sending the food back..aaaand bussers threw out my food when I went to the bathroom. In all honesty, I appreciate the manager having another plate made for me to go and the bartender for making some killer hennesys neat..... with crumbs stuck to the glass. However, we did get to meet a couple of VERY amicable guests sitting next to us who bought us a round of drinks to lighten the mood. Robert oh first of is worth the wait as tostadas is worth food of your liking. Mine so happened to be there homemade clam chowder and shrimp prepared on side as appitizer. The flavors are welcoming and infused with heart from the chef. It can get busy and as of course demands can be demanding at times but if you are as patient as me and can see the greater good with people and food then try this place out .. robert wont do you wrong with recommendations and leaves you with a laugh. I've been here twice and the service is terrible, the most recent experience was on a Monday, we came at 11am, were seated, it wasn't busy, and by 12:15pm they still hadn't even taken our food order. In that hour and 15 min we had to ask a bunch of times to take our drink order. It took 45 min to just bring out Guac. Mixed reviews about this place. The food was amazing and they had good options for the Happy Hour they offer. However, the place plays crazy loud music. Like insanely, unnecessarily loud. My friends and I could barely talk to each other, nor get the attention of our waitress. We had asked for refills of all our waters every five minutes because we were never given one aside the one serving we started off with. Went there this morning around 11:30..... for take out, didn't leave until 12:30!!!! We are officers that really only had 15 minutes to spare to get food and continue on the road. When we got there we were the only ones in this facility. Yeah we could've just asked for a refund and walked out but that would mean looking for another place. We got aguachile tostadas, tacos de birra, carnitas Benedict, esquite, caballitos,micheladas, and the most delicious churro waffle EVER !!! The corn and the waffle were the best part but everything was so good and amazing!! I definitely recommend this place!! I was charged %130 tip incorrectly and trying to get ahold of someone to resolve this issue has been fruitless. It's a hit or miss at this place. I love how their dishes are different from other restaurants, the plating is beautiful and it is very tasty (when you get the dish the ways it's supposed to be). Like I said, sometimes you'll get it the way it's supposed to be and other times you won't. The first time I ate here I ordered a cafe de olla and it was delicious! I ordered it today and it tasted like light coffee mixed with dirty water! It might have been dirty water since I found a dead fly towards the bottom of my cup. I also had to return my daughters cup of juice because her glass had chili flakes floating in it. I realize it must be hard since we're in the middle of a pandemic but cleanliness is very important. The pro's I will say is you can enjoy a adult beverage along the wait line on the sidewalk, at least as it was expressed by the wait staff. Finally seated during our wait take a chance to review the likes and foods that are pictured through Yelp. I ordered shredded meat, scrambled eggs, onions, bell peppers (Machaca), order of bacon of course, tortillas, and rice. Food service was pretty prompt based upon the amount of guest's. Our server unfortunately did make an error .missed our Michelada's , my gfriends salad. The wait staff that is constantly walking around is always inquiring on your needs, which is great,refills, napkins, ETC. Now my overall experience, was no where near the review i had just read literally a few moments prior to being seated. I will say the authentic taste was not their, bland and bit on the dry side, but again my own preference based upon my experience. I am not stating a bad review here however I am mentioning the reviews I am confused , for multiple reasons, taste, service. I would venture in visiting again, but only under the presence I was invited to try again. Tostadas may require a few more ares's of improvement. I understand my preferences are not demanding but I look for simplicity, customer service, attentiveness and over all presentation.
