It's super pretty inside as well with lots of seating and a restroom as well. $2.25 fudge brownie : very soft inside, has a crust sorta formed on the outside, very messy with the cocoa powder, soft bite after the crunch, no texture other than the soft melt in your mouth (more like a candy truffle?), chocolate flavor not strong but neither is the sweetness. Price/taste/re-buy: probably would not buy again because of the price (could make a whole tray for that price) but the flavor was nice 6/10 $2.50 matcha fudge: Matcha flavor is very rich and bitter (almost seaweed like??? idk what i was tasting) same texture as the fudge but no crunch, less powder less messy, is sweeter than the other one, not the best matcha 4/10 will not buy again couldn't even finish it $2.75 egg tart: very flaky, hard to cut in half it made a mess lol , top is glossy and soft custard inside, good crunch and chewy tart, very nice soft sweet flavor a bit salty as well in the crust, 7/10, would buy again. $4.25 almond croissant: Has filling on top and inside! very big, hard to warm up very easy to cut in half. The texture is crunchy and a bit grainy with the almonds. The top part is very buttery (think movie theater popcorn), very moist inside it tastes more like almond extract than real ground up almonds 6/10 didn't finish my portion (very sweet and not to my tastes won't buy again) $3.95 guava danish: Soft jammy center and nice crunch in the pastry shell, easy to cut in half! very aesthetically pleasing. If you like the porto's guava you'll like this one (not as good on the flakyness level) Taste even better warmed up. 8/10 would buy again best one so far! read more

New bakery popped up in Brea and I am loving it. There's Kim Soo Hyun everywhere which I love since he's one of my all time fave K-drama actors. The interior is very clean and there's a good amount of seating. The bread is organized and has timestamps of when it was made. There's a lot of options to choose from and they have some ready-made sandwiches and grab and go drinks in the fridge section. There's also a sizable drink menu and plenty of cakes/desserts to choose from. Everything I had gotten was so good and nothing tasted bad. My favorites are the savory frank rolls and croquettes. Just discovered this place and it is a gem! It is very bright and spacious, and seems to have more options than other asian bakeries. I did not get a chance to try their drinks or their desserts, but I thoroughly enjoyed their savory pastries! I think that my favorite was the curry croquette. It was very savory and flavorful with a crispy exterior. Since we brought this home, we were able to quickly warm it up in the toaster oven. I also really enjoyed the spinach feta tart. However, I thought that their garlic cream cheese bread was a bit of a dude. Couldn't really taste much of the garlic and the cream cheese had a weird texture. read more

I've visited plenty of Asian bakeries over the years, but this Tous Les Jours truly stands out above the rest. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. Literally, the cheerful "WELCOME!" the associates call out never fails to put a smile on my face. :D You can tell the team takes real pride in what they do. The pastries and breads are consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Oh, and the coffee is absolutely fantastic! Tous Les Jours is such a beautiful French/Asian inspired bakery! The ambiance is inviting with its warm colors, bright lights, and modern decor/seating. My husband and I dropped by on a Wednesday evening to check it out and grab some goodies. We purchased the crookie, (think a croissant and a chocolate chip cookie had a baby) I was adamant on how this would taste or curious as to what the texture would be like but it blew us away! We were so surprised on how they were able to keep the fluffy consistency of the croissant inside the crisp cookie outer parts. Really cool concept and delicious, not too sweet! We also got the blueberry cream cheese bread for my sister which she enjoyed. Lastly at check out, the cashier suggested for us to try the fudge brownie and matcha brownie. We were hesitant at first but then caved - we're sure glad we listened to him! Literally both were so decadent and I'm dreaming of the next time I can swing by to get some more! :) read more

Pastries here are really good, the place and ambience is really nice. My issue is with cashier that was working when I was rung up. They were having a convo with another cashier when I came up. I had gotten my items, and asked for a piece of cake behind the counter. I told them the name that was on the card in front of the piece I wanted. When they were going to put the cake in the bag I noticed it wasn't the right piece, I said "oh no, that's not the right one." I again said the name and even went over and pointed at the piece. The cashier seemed annoyed and said "oh that's *insert name*" in a rude tone like I put the wrong name card in front of the cake? They recharged my order and I paid. I looked at my receipt and noticed she had charged me for two pieces of cake instead of one. I asked them and they had said it was another item which I knew it wasn't because the most any other I purchased was around $3, but they seemed irritated so I didn't push it. Employees were very rude. My first time being here and I was trying to see the ingredients of a cookie at the register because I cannot eat certain ingredients, so this is very important to me. Right in the middle of doing that the cashier interrupted me and wanted me to move out of the way so she could ring up another customer. Mind you I was only standing here reading the ingredient sign for about 10 SECONDS. If you don't want customers stopping to read the details of an item at a register, then don't put it at the register. I really like this store. The layout and the number of comfy seating make me want to go back with the family or meet up with others there. The employees are really friendly and helpful, and these are big reasons why I look forward to making this one of my stops when in that shopping center. For Christmas, I received 2 $50 each gift cards to Tous les Jours. As I frequented it often, I went to the Brea location the third week in January to use them. I attempted to use one of the cards for my purchase and was told it was empty. The second card worked and I left the shop. One week later my husband and I went in and spoke to the manager who was very helpful. Her initial comment was perhaps something happened at their end because their computer system switched over on January 1. She said she would contact the main office and get back to me. Their findings were that the card was used in Irvine in January 2 and, therefore, they said "why should we have to issue a new card?" Funny, because it was in my possession the entire time. I told the manager I spend $180/month on manicures so really to try to cheat them out of $50? I called the Fullerton shop who confirmed my last thought that the cards can be loaded on an app. My last message to the Brea shop is perhaps a staff member who has Irvine ties could have somehow loaded the card on their app thus rendering it useless to me. We hadn't kept the initial receipt but, in this case, it wouldn't have helped. Truly, I believe either it was a computer changeover issue or employee dishonesty. I randomly walked into this location out of curiosity since it had opened back in December. It was evening time and I asked one of the associates, Peter, which cakes were their most popular since I was unfamiliar with the brand but was willing to give it a shot since we had 3 family members birthdays in the month of January. So the first family's members birthday arrives, and I take the chance on all of us trying the infamous Blueberry Yogurt cloud cake Peter highly suggested we try. When I tell you my family nearly lost it on the first bite of the cake. OMG! WE WERE ALL HOOKED! I'm not a big sweets person, and when I tell you I have never liked a cake or dreamt of a cake so much. Wow! 10/10 I must say! We pretty much finished the big size cake, and couldn't wait for the next birthday the following week to get a taste of the Blueberry Yogurt Cloud Cake. Wow! Definitely need to give it a shot. My fiancé wanted a specific cake from Tous Les Jours. So I went to 5 locations in total including the La Habra location that recently opened. But the brea location was the only one that had the cake that my fiancé wanted. I was pacing in front of the cakes and initially skeptical to even ask the workers at the brea location whether to see if they had the cake that my fiancé wanted. I guess it was obvious that I was being weird because the manager, Yuri, was able to spot me and offered her help to find exactly what it was that I wanted. She assured me that the Brea location indeed carried the cake that my Fiancé wanted and Yuri was able to swiftly pack it up and get it ready for me in no time. I went in on Saturday the 13th and i have to say that i was very underwhelmed and uncomfortable with the way i was treated. Hearing from friends that this was a friendly bakery I had high expectations but it came to a halt when I was served by a man named Benny. Upon taking my order he was not even looking at me or in my direction what's so ever. He rushed me and If not directly the way he was speaking to me made it feel that way. Also I noticed that his shirt is cropped? This is a place that has food him trimming his shirt down to where customers can see his stomach and his bare back when he bends over has to violate some type of health code. Not only that he was very sassy when I first approached as he was talking to someone and seemed angry I interrupted.
