Came here with the fam for a birthday celebration a week ago and was so happy to be able to go to a waterfront restaurant in the Central Valley. I love waterfront restaurants! The food was good and I ordered the scampi. The downside was coming at night so I wasn't really able to see the water from the inside of the restaurant so I would come again during the day for a better view. The service was good but it was very busy when we came. My drink and silverware was forgotten which is fine and understandable but we ordered dessert to go and when we got home, I noticed I was given the carrot cake and not the peanut butter chocolate cake I ordered. My friend and I visited Tower Park Waterfront Grille on Sunday, 8/20/23, in the afternoon. We decided to order to order appetizers to share such as the Mozzarella Sticks and Buffalo Chicken Wings. They were both tasty. What I liked most was the breading on the wings. Kendra was our server and she was the absolute sweetest. I enjoyed her hospitality, attentiveness, and kind spirit. I liked how the restaurant was placed by the water. It was nice and beautiful to enjoy the scenery by the window while eating good food. Overall, this restaurant was great. Went back again with a party of 4. We were lucky enough to get Sabrina as our waitress and once again the service was excellent. Sabrina takes all our orders and memorize them. We all ordered the ribeye steak dinner, cooked differently, a variety of sides and drinks and she got it all right. Will definitely be going back again. Special shout out to the cook Marshall. I held my Son's 18th birthday/ High school Graduation Party in the Banquet room a few weekends ago, and I could not be more pleased with how it all came together so beautifully! Sara and the staff who assisted her with the party, were Awesome! The Chef helped me with choosing the menu, and I chose to do a buffet style which would work best for the amount of guests I was expecting. Sara, the Manager sent me a detailed contract which in it answered any questions I had thought of, and she remained open and accommodating to all of my last minute adjustments and concerns. She responded promptly and was extremely helpful throughout the planning process. For instance, I described my vision for the party to her briefly in conversation, and the room was perfectly set the night before, when we went in to decorate. We were camping here for the weekend and decided to have an easy meal so we made a reservation. The inside looks like an American restaurant overlooking a body of water should look. It was built to highlight the large window facing the water and everything else sort of blends in. The restaurant needed a good cleaning though. I thought the spider hanging behind my wife would bite her at any moment! The window sill was full of fly carcasses too. The service like our servers disposition was "meh." I don't think she smiled once during our visit and we felt like we had somehow interrupted her from doing something more important. I noticed that the other employees were more friendly. I guess we just got the grumpy one. The food was good, but expensive. I ordered the pretzel to share and a salad. The pretzel was massive but not worth $18. The chop chop salad was basic and the bacon was cooked and chopped nicely. I tried my wife's bbq chicken pizza and found the crust floppy and undercooked. This place is so so. I recommend if you want an easy meal while camping, but keep your expectations low. read more

Absolutely the worst service & food my husband & I have had in a looooong time. Upon walking in, 2 people came to host stand & didn't greet. I came in with a 3yr old daughter & was served an adult menu until I had to ask for crayons & a kids menu. Asked for my water 3 times before I received them 3/4 way full. Requested garlic fries in which my server said, "I can absolutely do that for you!" & fries came out with Parmesan only. My added on "side salad" was shredded lettuce with tomato onion & cucumber. Wings tasted delicious, but were cold in middle. Fries with our entrees were also undercooked & cold. My fish & (cold) chips were decent. My husband's spicy burger was pretty good. Not bad. My dad has become a huge fan of doing Jellystone with fam and friends each summer so its cool that we were able to to come here for a weekend. Not sure if it was open last year but I remember coming here for the first time 2 years ago and having a fun time. If you haven't heard of it you have to look up Jellystone in Lodi. Very family friendly place! Most people bring food and/or BBQ. However sometimes it's nice not having to worry about food. That's why we always thought about trying the Tower Grill one night. Right when we entered I was pretty impressed with the decor. For some reason I didn't remember it being the inside being as nice as it was years ago. The special for the day was a Prime Rib which I was pumped to try but to me it was just ok. It probably didn't help that I asked for Medium Rare and it came out Medium Well but I was extremely hungry. It also still had pretty good flavor so all wasn't lost. I do wish the horseradish was just a little bit stronger. I remember dousing the steak with chunks of it and barely getting a kick. Service was amazing though. Our server was extremely nice and professional and got us everything we needed. Refills were never a problem and we never had to wait too long. Overall I had a pretty good experience and would try them out again sometime. read more
