Went for lunch before the place got packed. Sat at the bar, very friendly and efficient servers. Menu was great, beer selection good. Had the fried clam dinner with sweet potato fries and OMG what a HUGE portion! Views from the var and anywhere there really was great. Beautiful day to be outside on the water Thank you for a good time

The food, the atmosphere, and the service here are well worth it. You sit at picnic tables and it has a cute beachy vibe. We didn't get cocktails because we were driving but they had some tasty looking ones walk by. My daughter had a huge portion of Mac and cheese. It was Kraft brand and you know what? Perfect. That's what kids want. I had a salad with lobster and my husband had a lobster roll and homemade chips. The amount of lobster on both of our plates was crazy. VERY generous. We didn't feel bad about our $90 lunch one bit. It was worth it. In the middle of our meal the manager checked in on us and I always like that. I told her about how we were very pleased with everything. If we come to Meredith again we will be stopping because this place is a solid 10.

Terrific place to stop and dock. Service was excellent. There are servers always checking. Nice fresh options in addition to sandwiches and seafood baskets. Reasonably priced, selections on a separate kids menu. Eating out on the water, casual dress It won't disappoint.

This place is awesome! We came for ice cream last night as my son says (and I agree), " this is my favorite ice cream place!" He loves the lemon ice cream and I'm here for the sometimes-hard-to-find peppermint stick. It was late near closing and our order was initially skipped but we got it sorted out. This place is also solid for a meal and a hang out, and accommodates all ages fairly well. There's a sand area for kids to wander and play in, and seating options of all sorts. At peak times it can get busy so be prepared to wait for a table. Their cocktail list is pretty fun and includes some cocktails in sand pails and other buckets which you get to keep after! The menu is diverse and reliable for all to find something and the staff are on it.

We were there the Sunday of July Fourth, a rather busy weekend. We were sat fast(you go to the back and wait to be seated) and our server was attentive. I got the pomegranate ginger seltzer and it was excellent- not too sweet just the way I like it! And our table was great- we were outside looking over the lake and not too close to others. Go for the views and a drink!

Stopped by here on a lake day at Meredith and it didn't disappoint. The place was packed on a sunny Saturday but there was no wait since they have so many seatings. Both a table for two and bar seating was available so we chose bar seats. The seats are mostly all waterfront facing the Meredith Bay. The service is fast and wonderful although they are busy. The drinks were perfect for a sunny afternoon. They also have fun drinks on the menu and some bucket drinks as well. We got a fishermen platter to share and everything hit the notes. Scallops were so good! If I have one thing to complain, that would be the portion of the platter for the price. Cute vibey waterfront place to check out if you are in the NH Lake Region. -7.3/10

On our first visit, I had the Beet and Feta Salad with Grilled Salmon. It was fantastic, and one of my favorite meals of the entire trip. The salad was extremely fresh, with greens from local farmers. It was the best lettuce I've ever had, and when I tried to find out what kind it was, I wish told it was spring mix. It didn't look like any spring mix I've ever had, but it was such sweet, delicious and crunchy lettuce. The beets were also great, with both red and golden varieties. The salmon was cooked absolutely perfect. My dining partner got the Duck Confit Tacos. He did not care for that for a number of different reasons. In the first place, it should've been served on a different type of plate, as it was very messy and most of it was falling off the very narrow plate. He doesn't like a lot of mess. It likely would have been better had they left all the toppings off, to add them as you want them. There was way too much on top of the duck, which buried the taste. It was impossible to pick up, and very difficult to eat with a knife and fork. Plus they added too much cheese, and he doesn't like cheese much. It was not a dish he would order again. On our next visit, I had the Seafood Linguine. It came packed with fresh seafood with lots of mussels. It was a very generous portion, with plenty to take home for another meal. My partner had the grilled burger, which he quickly devoured. He said that was one great burger! On our next visit, we stopped in for a late lunch. It was a dreary, rainy day, and the weather was on the cool side. So we opted for soup. My partner got the Clam Chowder and I opted for the French Onion. They both hit the spot. My partner loved that burger so much, he ordered it again. I opted for a Grilled Veggie Sandwich, which was not as good as my salad choice a few nights earlier, but it was OK. All in all, we enjoyed all three of our visits here. I'd be happy to return again when in the area.

Two burgers ordered medium were instead cooked well done, and a veggie bowl with rice was served with the most poorly cooked rice I've ever seen in a restaurant. It was a solid bowl-shaped mound of gummy rice mush. And when I asked if there was a non-dairy alternative to the naan it should have come with, I was told no but I suspect the waiter just didn't want to ask. The restaurant itself was nice enough, but we were seated near the bar, which was noisier than I would have preferred. (Mostly from the very chatty bartender) I'm sure they would have preferred being told at the time, but I wasn't interested in sending back 3 out of 5 meals. But eating out has gotten too expensive to accept meals that poor. It was $190 with tip for five. (No alcohol, but 3 mocktails) My son liked the Thai salmon.

This is a lovely restaurant that sits alongside Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee. There are a number of seating choices including bar, high top and conventional tables, many with views of the lake. This time of the year, the views of the snow-covered frozen lake are gorgeous. I wish I could say the same thing about our dinner, which frankly was a disappointment. The menu includes a good variety of starters, appetizers, salads, handhelds, and entrees. Two of us ordered the Flat Iron Steak. I realize this is usually a chewier cut of meat, but this was so tough it was inedible. Our server and the manager both could not have been nicer in terms of how they handled this as I returned mine and was quickly brought a different dinner- a French Dip sandwich. This was tasty but there was more bread than roast beef. The other person chose to keep her flat iron streak, but I could tell it was very difficult to cut and chew. Another ordered the Chicken Milanese Salad which included arugula, peppers, roasted tomatoes and olives in a balsamic dressing. The Parmesan crusted pan fried chicken came over-done but that meal was well-liked. The service and the ambiance were stellar.

Our server wasn't far behind since he took our drink requests quickly as well. He was friendly, patient and maintained good eye contact. I ordered the turkey broccoli Alfredo, my husband ordered the turkey dinner with white meat. First off, the carrot radish/dip thing they serve on crackers are so incredibly addicting. I'd order a jar but I was sure it wouldn't make it to the car. Our server came back with bread and the corn bread is to die for. It's very sweet (I'm guessing maple?) and very soft and crumbly. Hubby said the bread rolls with butter were also good. I do appreciate they give you options and don't force people one type of bread. As for the main course, I almost wish I had two stomachs because they turkey Alfredo was delicious. Unfortunately I couldn't eat it all since they give you a lot on a plate. Hubbys dinner was equally delicious and he pretty much cleaned the plate. The environment is a little dated but in a way where it's part of the esthetic. It's very clean and well maintained. You're in New Hampshire so there's a certain style that people expect in this area. With all the things you can do in this area, make sure to leave time for a fantastic meal here!

My parents have been trying to take me to Hart's Turkey Farm for three years now and it was finally…read moreable to happen last week. Now, technically I did come here in 2024 but I was violently ill (this had nothing to do with them, it was vertigo) so I was stoked to finally sit down and give Hart's a chance. This place has a very, very, very strong "New England Vibe" to it and it's definitely a comfortable environment. I live in LA now so restaurants that look like this are far and few between. This massive restaurant has a gift shop, multiple huge rooms with seating, and a pretty large menu with all the turkey goods (and other things) you could possibly want someones mother to make you. I wanted to order what this place is known for so I ordered a small turkey plate that came with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and an order of poutine on the side. Let's get into my thoughts. Turkey- The turkey was solid enough. Turkey isn't exactly the most flavourful meat on the planet so as long as its cooked, it's going to taste like turkey and I have really no complaints there. Mashed Potatoes with Gravy- The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted so much to me like what we were served in school for thanksgiving that I thought one of my old teachers was going to write me up for wearing a hat at the table. Was it bad? No, but it certainly didn't give me much to go "wow, this is so good" at. Stuffing- Eh, it was fine, but not something I need again. Poutine- This is really the punch in the gut for me. My poutine came out first and as you can see from the photo, it's missing what literally makes it poutine as they straight up just didn't put gravy on it. Like, someone looked at the french fries with cheese curds on top and went "yeah, this seems right". Needless to say this was bad. As a proud Canadian, I died inside a little. The worst part is my brothers poutine came out minutes later with gravy on it, like, huh? Overall, Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant seems like a small town place for big families. My experience here wasn't great and I can't see wanting to come back here on future trips to New Hampshire. The staff here was super friendly and the restaurant itself was a cool place to be, but the mediocre food was just not it. I'm sure regardless of what I thought, my parents will definitely still be regulars here.

Service was great, especially considering how busy it was. The ladies behind the bar kept things moving! We ordered drinks (excellent Manhattan, btw) and some food. While waiting for the food, we had a nice chat with two locals who have lived here all their lives and that contributed to the fun vibe of the place. You hear about taciturn folks in the Northeast but we had several people talk to us, but then again, maybe we stuck out and everyone could easily tell we weren't local. In any event, it was lovely. The food was good too. Shrimp cocktail was on point but the highlight were the chicken tenders. The portion was gigantic...we were expecting maybe four tenders and there were something like eight! They were fried perfectly too. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside....really well done. As we were leaving, there were people already waiting for tables so this must be a very popular place to eat and based on my experience (friendly environment, great service, terrific food) it's not hard to see why. Definitely check out The Breeze if you're in the area.
