Getting four tires mounted and and alignment these guys are the greatest we have been coming to this Norwalk location since it opened in the 1970's? And have never been disappointed! Today was just another example of why we love this home town tire place. My dad (86 with Alzheimer's) was freezing cold (he's always cold) waiting for the car to be finished and so I started for the door to take dad outside and they two desk guys jumped up and grabbed chairs for us to sit in outside while we finished waiting!!! This locations is worse than others. The most frustrating thing is they won't answer the phone when I call. I've actually watched, from the Starbucks across the parking lot, as they ignored my call and then finally picked up the phone and then hung it up to make it stop ringing. This is either a staffing or a training problem that should be addressed by management. read more

These guys are amazing! I had a tire that was leaking for a couple of days. I'd just refill with air and move on. Unfortunately, it got to the point where I couldn't ignore it . Couldn't recommend any more! Great value, great customer service, and very efficient timing. We recently had a low pressure warning in our tire and took it to Town Fair to get looked at. Stefan greeted us with a warm helpful smile and immediately diagnosed the issue, took care of payment (around $13), and sent us on the way. Stefan and team took care of the tire (nail puncture) much quicker than expected and did a great job! My wife and I joked that we wanted to come back every weekend because Stefan and team brought such great energy to our morning! Definitely worth a visit if you need your tire fixed! read more

Had a slow leak in my front driver side tire. They fixed it for very little ($13.70) and rotated the tires and inflated them, for free. One month later and all four tires are at the same PSI (36 PSI) as when I picked up the car. The car (Acura MDX) runs smoothly at all speeds, no steering vibration and goes straight with no pulling left or right. The place is big, lots of tires and wheels, clean and seemed well equipped. OK, 5 PM on a busy Friday night, my wife and I pulled in on a tire that was leaking VERY FAST (when my TPM alarmed me, it was actually flat so I filled it at a gas station and limped over to Town Fair. Fairly new car, but the dealer (who will remain nameless, but is truly shameless - ) failed to tell me the car did not have a donut - just a can of Slime! I am a senior citizen. The guy at the desk said sorry we can't fix it today, I will fill you tire and you can go home then come back tomorrow. The problem was of course the tire would be in my driveway with a flat with no way to refill it, except with Slime.. Long story short, Leighton to the rescue. Shout out to Leighton and Steven in particular! I popped a tire on my mini on I-95 and they were incredibly helpful. They ordered the tire, received it, and installed it very quickly. They also mentioned reporting the incident to the DOT and helped me with the paperwork required to file the claim. We have used Town Fair many times and the gentlemen who work there are consistently knowledgable, friendly, and honest. Their prices are better than most. Highly recommend this location of Town Fair Tire! We always receive excellent service, they are accommodating and flexible on appointment times, and they are competitively priced. We have been going to this location for years and the assistant manager, Leighton, truly values return customers and always goes out of his way to be helpful regardless of the situation. We tried Costco tires once, but will always stick with Town Fair because of the personal service we receive. read more

Had an appointment for 10AM for a snow tire changeover. Arrived early. It's now 11:15AM and my car still hasn't even been brought into the bay to be serviced. Their customer service is good and they're very helpful, but their time management/fulfillment has much to be desired. Maybe they should stop overbooking time slots so long time customers don't consider going to their competition in the future. Time = money and I don't like businesses wasting my time. Update: My car was finally brought in at 11:35. Over an hour and half waiting! Its not acceptable for a business to operate like this. Update: finally done at 12:45PM. Almost 3 hours to get tires changed over and balanced. Ridiculous! And no, I didn't speak to the Manager Rich. As far as I'm concerned they earned a two star review and should strive for five stars without me being blackmailed into not leaving a bad review. Town Fair Tire will never get another penny from me. Tire Department: Wanted to thank Alex (John) for his assistance in helping me obtain new tires for my car. He provided exceptional service by explaining what would be best based on amount I wanted to spend and trying to not pay for more than I needed. Ales went over options, he obtained the appropriate tires (same day even though they were not available on-site) and I wad able to have new tires within hours. He was polite and listened. Destroyed my tire, rude staff, rude manager, long wait times. What's not to like? I went in for a quick nail in the tire patch job ($12). They told me it would take at least 90 minutes even with an appointment. Okay, fine. They finally finished my car at closing time, and by the time I got 100 yards away my tire was obviously going flat. I rushed back, but everyone was gone. I took it to another shop who quickly determined that they destroyed the tire pressure sensor by over torquing it when they reinstalled and that's what was rapidly leaking. I got a quote from my dealership for a repair ($290) and went back to Town Fair to inform them that I would need to be reimbursed. The manager was bizarrely hostile with me and told me I should have them repair it. No, thank you. Then he yelled at me that the reimbursement check would take 10 days. As if this was some kind of threat? It was very weird. The second shop had temporarily patched the tire, so I asked the Town Fair manager (Joe maybe? I don't remember) if they would put my spare on so I wouldn't have a leaky tire while I waited for my dealership appointment. He barked at me that I would have to wait and it would be at least an hour. I left. I'll update if he fights with me about paying for the repair. read more

I live in Stamford, but take my car to Town Fair Tire on Connecticut Ave in Norwalk, which is out of my way, but worth it! You can make an appointment, and actually wait and have your car back in a reasonable amount of time! The guys at the front desk are very pleasant. The Manager, Rich, is extremely patient and helpful. Also, the parking is plentiful...what a concept!!! read more

My wife and I have been getting my tires here for many years. Their prices are fair and are actually willing to beat competitors prices as they claim. Most of my customer service experiences have been pleasant. My only complaint is they sometimes are unrealistic with their job time quotes and have to wait much longer that expected whereas I could have gotten a ride. read more

I came in for an emergency check of my new tires that I fully disclosed had been recently placed by another tire store. I was far from the original tire store and was worried about how my car felt when driving and I just wanted them to check the tires and offered to PAY them for their time! First off when I walked in I was ignored by all the staff for a solid ten minutes and when I told them my predicament- the service guy said he would have to ask his manager - he then returned and said they couldn't look at the tires since someone else installed them. I again explained I was worried about driving any further on the tires and my willingness to pay for their time ... his response 'if you had a flat then we would consider it' Seriously??! read more

Great Customer service & great price. My BMW need run on flat tires thus they had to orders 4 Bridgestone run on flat tires for me. It was only 1 day waiting and I got 3 pm appointment. Richard called me the next day cause my tires came in early around 9 am. I arrived earlier and Miguel at the front took great care of me. He was nice , professional and knowledgeable. Both Miguel and Rich were very helpful. Rich gave me the form for 70 dollars mail in rebate. The waiting area here is very comfortable. Nice television to keep me busy while waiting. The sales guys at the counter are fairly quick and friendly. However, they're terrible on getting the car done as committed. Limped in here on run flats at 8am on Saturday to have a blown tire replaced. They didn't have it in stock at the store but said they'd get it from their CT Warehouse. Then they booked me a 12:30pm appointment so I wouldn't have to wait later and told me to come back then. So far so good. Ok back to store at 12:30pm, check in and they tell me it will be 2 hours. I question the wait since I have an appointment, they tell me, "you're lucky, wait time is 4 hours now". Also; " a lot of people without appointments came in after you this morning..." Almost funny. So after sitting amongst the tires for 3 hours, my sales guy tells me, the big jobs are all prioritized in front of me. Tells me on the sly, he moved me up in the order (otherwise I had another hour), my car finally goes inside the service bays for work, 15 mins later car is done. That's it. So... great service by the crew. They were very nice and accommodating. However, when I first got there, the initial assessment was that I was getting a tire plugged, which cost approximately $5. They generated FOUR COPIES of an invoice for a $5 repair. FOUR SHEETS of paper. When questioning the staff, they told me this is standard procedure. This is ridiculous for any repair, let alone one for $5. Well, then it turns out I need a new tire, which then forces them to generate YET ANOTHER FOUR COPIES of the same dang invoice. Seriously? SERIOUSLY?? Why on god's green earth would any company need to generate that much paperwork (or any paperwork at all in this modern digital age)? It's completely irresponsible. Using that much paper is wasteful and pollutes our most valuable resource, water. Get with the program, Town Fair management. Until you have more responsible business practices I'm going to steer everyone I know elsewhere. You should be ashamed. Go digital, or go home. read more

When I went in I explained the back tire was no good also typed this up when I made an appointment on line but I guess they don't read it so don't bother. The salesman looked at all tires and actually stated the one which I knew had a leak was fine but the others were shot. So he states I will need 4 tires shows me all of them tells me almost 700. Nope couldn't do it. So I explain again about the leaky tire to which he says it can be patched um no that is why I came in. So I asked can you put the new tires on the front and the front on the back? Nope they don't or can't do that or are not allowed. So I said do 2 he didn't like the answer but my wallet didn't like the price. So he finally agreed. Went out and when I came back another salesman came over stated he could do 4 tires for about 4 hundred and had been trying to contact me. He stated that I did need 4 tires and didn't want me to leave without trying to help me out. He actually saved the day because when I left and went shopping I vowed never to return to the shop For future tire service. Will I? I really can't say but at least things this time worked out for the better read more

The staff here were so friendly that I couldn't stop myself from writing this review. I had a flat tire and went in to get it fixed. Since I had a tire insurance I wanted to make a claim, the staff were so good to be on the call with the insurance company and made sure that my claim went through fine. I was here on a Monday around noon time and my car was fixed in less than 45 minutes. read more

Beginning with booking my appointment by phone I had a positive experience - getting in for 4 new tires on short notice. Amanda - my phone agent was very helpful and knowledgeable and set my appointment with 30 mins notice. I I was then assisted by Miguel the Asst Mgr who proceeded to explain my options related to the specific tires, alignment, and service guarantee. The entire staff couldn't have been more courteous. Despite being very busy, everyone was helpful and polite and my job was turned around the same day and for $400 less than the estimate, I received from my car dealership. I received WHITE GLOVE SERVICE from Miquel (Sales Associate) yesterday on Saturday. I was in the Norwalk area yesterday doing some shopping and my Low Tire Pressure Indicator came on and I inspected my tires and had a tire that was almost flat. I was near Town Fair Tire and I purchased the tires originally from them for my WRX car, as I entered the Norwalk Location the place was under siege with everybody coming in to purchase snow tires for the upcoming snow storm. Miguel said he could fit me in even though the store was about to close. So Miguel asked me to stay in the store while he closes down the store at 4pm and he made sure that his team attended to rotating and plugging my tire. I had to write this review, Miguel's attitude towards all his customers was exceptional and he cares about them sincerely. Most people would just turn you away and say they are booked solid. Not Miguel, his enthusiasm is very contagious and you can see it in the way he carries himself with all customers. read more

Omg the staff was incredible!! I came in after my vacation where i traveled to PA. While crossing a bridge my friend nodded off from traveling all day and hit a wall. My alignment was off my tires were totally screwed. The next morning when we came obviously my friend and I were in. Bad mood. But these guys assured us everything would be fine.
