Summary: amazing staff and delicious food make this a go-to place in Cleveland! We came here on a Monday hoping to get some brunch however we got there only to find out that brunch is only on the weekends here. C'est la vie! However we were definitely not disappointed in their lunch menu! It was delicious! Honeybun Latte- delicious coffee with a nice light sweetness. 4/5 Grilled cheese- super amazing sandwich. I added bacon to my dish and it came with arugula inside as well as peppadews (pretty much not a grilled cheese at that point) and the sourdough bread was toasted with herbed butter....absolutely delicious!! 5/5 Tomato Bisque- this was a great tomato soup, however, I found it to be too acidic...it most likely was the tomatoes they used. Otherwise, it was a nice dunking and accompanying side. 4/5 Food Truck Tacos- delicious taco toppings! We chose the proteins to be chicken and pork belly! The chicken was moist and delicious but the pork belly was a healthier cut...not very fatty (which is what I'd expect when ordering pork belly) so in this case I preferred the chicken! The toppings were great and fresh! 4.5/5 Fries- beautiful crisp and chewy coating. Delicious! 5/5 Keto Chicken wings- came out fresh and had a shake n bake like coating that was some What crispy! It's made with almond flour so it's not going to get that same fried-flour effect. I found that it was too salty. The avocado dipping sauce was A+Mazing!! 4/5 Keto Pudding Bowl- I think this dish would have worked better as a chia seed pudding base with avocado instead of simply being an avocado based bowl. The first few bites were heavy on the raw avocado taste but after the 3rd or 4th bite, you get used to it and it became a very nice dish. The cocoa nibs add amazing texture and crunch to the dish. 4/5 read more

I have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. After my experience yesterday I will never be returning. I sat at the bar as I typically do, bartender name was Lyssa. She explained she was new so I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt after I waited 10 minutes for my drink to arrive. She took my order in a very raspy tone that kinda worried me, and as she handed me my food coughed all over it. Her voice was very raspy and she sounded like she carried quite a few illnesses but I did not want to be rude. I am absolutely appalled. I do not feel that a person carrying an illness should be handling food. This experience was so bad I will never be able to return. read more

Love the vibe here! Love the decor and the oh-so-cool tables. Menu selection is diverse, presentation is nice, taste is yum and portions are reasonable. The lighting was a bit on the dim side and there were big temperature swings if you sit closer to the entrance. The cushioned booth seats are really comfy but their setup is reminiscent of a cafeteria or mess hall or town hall...hahaha. My date asked for a glass of orange juice and they were able to accommodate him, LOL. This is a great spot for a date, friend meetup or coworker after work event. read more

Thursday evening, wait for table for 2 would be 1 hour. After one hour passed they said it would be another 1.5 hours. Even after we sat, the menu changes past 10pm (which they didn't mention would happen, because who needs to ever wait over 2.5 hours for a table) and they didn't even bother to tell us that. I understand delayed wait times, but be SLIGHTLY accurate. BFFR we ended up leaving cause the late night menu is a glorified McDonalds. Took 35 minutes to get a shot of espresso. I should have called from the line I was standing in, you actually seem to get service that way. Sure, it was very busy (saturday) but 25 minutes to take an order for coffee and then 10 minute wait for it to go? Good grief. I would have left but i made the mistake of ordering food and paying for it. I ordered to go, which is a waste of time because I think table service takes the same amount time. I wouldn't write this but the gurl working the register was so rude and arrogant. I don't understand the process here so don't assume that I know. She was a real jerk with that attitude. Anyway, if you're in a rush, don't bother. And if you dont know the system (take a number but have no where to add the number) stay away from the nasty at the register. read more

This place was packed when I walked in. So I decided to sit at the bar. It had an amazing ambiance and definitely a place to be on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the Sweet Potato Skins and Fresh Cut Truffle Fries. I love Potato Skins in general so I thought the Sweet Potato Skins would be a healthier alternative. But boy was I wrong! It was absolutely awful!!! I couldn't even finish one! I was so disappointed. When the bartender asked if I wanted it boxed up, I told her honestly that it was not good. It caught me by surprise that she agreed! I wanted to ask why she let me order it but I held my tongue. She offered to not charge me which I greatly appreciated. The Fresh Truffle Fries was delicious and I was just happy with eating that with my sauces. I want to go back to try out other food on the menu but I'm not sure based on the Sweet Potato Skins. The bartender was amazingly sweet and I definitely loved the vibe and energy of the place. I would probably try this place once more. If you come here, don't order the Sweet Potato Skins! read more

Everything was delicious - especially and including Julia our server - well...not LITERALLY delicious! She was attentive, super helpful and informative. A wonderful server is what puts a dining experience over the top and she certainly did. If you have never been - make sure to tell them so they can explain the menu! So good. We had the deviled egg and nachos for starters. Bot delicious! Special and yummy! Then my partner had a beef bone broth concoction he loved while I had the Thai peanut bowl. SO good. This place was great. They have a bunch of health options (I personally like the fattening stuff though). I started out with the brussel spouts. MMMMMM. They were very flavorful, appropriately seasoned and well cooked. Then I moved on to the unfried chicken sandwich. Double MMMMMM. It was also very flavorful and very satisfying. I saw the cold pressed juices on the menu and had to try it. It was decent, but you do not get much juice, especially for the price. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It has a full bar with televisions and is located just outside of downtown. There is ample metered street parking in the area. This place has some very good food and I highly recommend eating here. Was looking for a new place to take the wife for her birthday than our usual spots and somewhere kid friendly. Think we found a spot even though busy and we had a 30 minute wait, it was all worth it. Service was quick and efficient. The wife has a spicy tuna roll while not spicy at all, it was fresh and light. She also got the keto chicken dinner and it was very juicy. The mashed sweet potatoes and brussels were both good. The sauces really weren't needed and but we didn't try them but didn't like either so not a necessity. The kids had a burger and the cheese flat bread. They both loved their food and the fun stuff that was given to keep them occupied while we waited. I had the poke bowl and it like the sushi was fresh and light. Great beer choices for $5. Was it a little loud inside, yes but definitely worth revisiting. read more

The service was great. Our waitress was extremely attentive but not to the point where it was annoying. She was really quick with everything we requested from her. Our food was okay. This was the first time we came here for brunch. The portions were very big and filling but the food itself wasn't that great. My breakfast tacos had flavors that did not pair very well together. The potatoes that came with my tacos tasted old and were very oily. My partner got the cinnamon roll and chicken and enjoyed it. The ambiance was okay. My swim team and I ate here (there are 18 of us). Once we were seated the waitress gave us a quick synopsis of the menus which was very helpful because I was having trouble understanding some of the items. We got our food relatively quickly considering how many of us were eating there. I ordered Grass Fed Steak & Japanese curry. I really enjoyed the Beech Mushrooms and the seasoning added to the dish. I ordered Cucumber & Avocado sushi rolls as a side, I absolutely loved the food. The restaurant had a nice decor and a good layout. I have traveled a lot in the country and there are only two places like this. The salad is generously mixed with their homemade white French sauce, and you could really taste the freshness of the vegetables and produce. My favorite drink was "Never Too Much" and I don't even like Hennessy like that haha -- it was such a refreshing drink and the peach and lemon flavors truly was perfect for the fall season. So we sat right at the window along the river with a very nice view. Quickly thereafter a bubbley, smiling face arrived by the name of Sara. She brought us our water and took our drink orders and away she bounced... marvelous. Shortly after, she returned with our drinks. She very effectively answered our questions and we placed our orders. We were both not too hungry so we stayed with the starters menu. We shared an order of the "Heavenly Biscuits" and I added the "Marinated Olives". Then we both had a bowl of the "Lobster Bisque". Everything showed up in a timely fashion and in proper order. All of it was excellent. I must say, the bisque was exceptionally meaty. A pleasant surprise. As we were finishing up I mentioned I was looking forward to coffee. When Sara arrived I told her we would both like a cup as soon as we were done. With a big smile she said I heard you talking about it and already started a fresh pot for you. I was amazed... such a simple thing, but an example of extraordinary service. My compliments to Sara and the Lakehouse for employing her. Shortly thereafter, a pleasant gentleman by the name of Ihab introduced himself as our server for the evening. He immediately filled our water, identified the various menus at the table, and took our drink orders. A while later our beverages arrived, he answered several questions and explained the evenings specials. I ordered the Grilled Avocado followed by Broiled Oysters "Rocco". My wife ordered the Potato Gnocchi with crab & lobster. We followed our meal with excellent coffee and a good Pot de Creme. In conclusion... the noise problem that so plagued us the first visit seemed to have been addressed. It was now more reasonable. As I got closer to the restroom area, there was a strong smell of what I can only describe as wet, moldy rags. The bathroom itself was dark, oddly designed, and just gave an overall uncomfortable vibe. What made it worse is that the place wasn't even busy--there was only one table and a couple people at the bar. So the lack of service and cleanliness really stood out. By the time I walked back to the bar, I had already made up my mind. No one had still acknowledged me, and based on the condition of the place, I wasn't willing to take a chance on the food. I grabbed my things and left. Later on, I mentioned it at another restaurant and was told this place is known for poor food quality and lack of authenticity--which honestly aligned with what I experienced just from being inside. We went here with high expectations on a Monday around 3pm. So here's the thing... this place is gorgeous. The layout is fantastic, the open windows in the front flow air through to the back patio, the bar and tables are set up properly... it's just a gorgeous space. I don't know if the theme is for it to be a health food type of place, but I was rather surprised, and quite disappointed, in the menu selections. Noodle and rice bowls, but ALL of them have to have brown rice or brown rice vermicelli? I mean... I understand having healthy options, but if you aren't touting yourself as a health food place it seems strange to not have that as a choice instead of the only way to go. My girlfriend and I both looked over the menu and neither of us really found much of anything we cared for. She landed on the turkey club sandwich (Probably the most boring thing on the menu) which sadly was going to be my choice as well, so I went with a simple salad instead. She also ordered a cocktail called Indigo which sounded like a nice summery drink. Her drink came out and was awful; it needed something tart and a little simple syrup. When the bartender came over and asked how she liked it she told him flat out she didn't and why. His response was along the lines of "Yeah we get that sometimes... people don't realize how much the herbs come through and they don't care for it." and then he walked away. He didn't offer to fix it, didn't offer to take it away or replace it... just left. Our food came out and we weren't checked on again until we needed a check. For the record, her sandwich was fine but honestly if you can screw up a cold sandwich... and my salad was awful. The croutons on it were nice and crunchy, and I pluralize the word crouton only because there were two total on the salad. The "Town Hall Vinaigrette" is apparently a lot of olive oil and a little balsamic vinegar... I mean maybe it's my fault for ordering a simple salad and being disappointed when it's half a bag of field greens two croutons and a vinaigrette a 5 year old could make, I just expected better because I heard better. When our bartender dropped off the bill my girlfriend saw the drink was still on it and complained, and the bartender got a manager. She came over with a bill without the drink on it and was very apologetic, and asked if we wouldn't mind staying a minute or two so she could try to remake it and see if we liked it. She did, we did, and we left on a positive note. She is the sole reason the restaurant is getting two stars instead of one. Scratch that.... the hostess was very nice as well. She explained the cafe side versus bar side and was very pleasant. But the menu stunk, the food was depressing and the service was awful. I would come here to drink at night... nah, I really wouldn't. Too many good places in the 216 nowadays to be doing such a mediocre to poor job. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! Delicious food, unique cocktails, juice bar, coffee bar, 36 draft beers, friendly staff, just an overall great atmosphere! I have been coming here since it opened and Townhall is by far my favorite restaurant in Cleveland! Townhall's menu is one of the best I have seen. They offer so many different options and it fits a lot of different lifestyles. For example, every Wednesday night is Paleo NIght where they have a special Paleo menu while still offering the regular menu. Every Monday night is Vegan Night, where they offer a 100% vegan menu along with the regular menu. If you have dietary restrictions, Townhall will definitely accommodate to your needs. The quality of the food is outstanding and you can tell how much they care because they are currently doing a Non- GMO project where they are aiming towards having all the foodin the resturant to be 100% non-GMO. Definitely go here if you are looking for great food in the Cleveland area. Townhall has such an amazing craft beer selection, 36 craft beers on draft to be exact! I went to grab some food here on a Monday night and was told it was their "3$ Craft Beer Night", which means they offer all 36 drafts for 3$ every monday night. They also have a really cool cocktail list that are all unique and delicious. They have these cocktails called "emulsive cocktails" which are made with alcohol and different kinds of super fruits that they make into a puree in house. SO GOOOD! The Indigo is my favorite. My friends and I love going here on the weekends!! Every Saturday and Sunday morning they have an awesome brunch menu, most places around here only serve brunch on Sundays so it's nice having a Saturday brunch option as well. Brunch also has a Build Your Own Crepe Station- YUM! I always have such a good time here on weekend nights, such a great crowd! It's the best place around to meet new people and have a lot of fun with your friends. They have a gorgeous, relaxing back patio with a lot of seating, too. The staff here is extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. I always have the outstanding service when I come here. Everyone is always smiling, which puts me in a great mood. It's nice going to a place where the staff actually has a sense of urgency! If you live here or are just visiting Cleveland, whether you are looking for a delicious meal or looking for somewhere to go on a weekend night- Townhall is the place to go! read more

TownHall is one of the hippest hot spots in the 216. They deserve respect & recognition for their consciousness in offering the community a high caliber menu in both quality & quantity. Their efforts to ensure our city has fresh, flavorful, locally sourced foods & their commitment to our health by striving to make the menu GMO free makes them superior. As a vegetarian, their contribution to making their dishes diverse & affordable is always appreciated. TH's thoughtfulness towards the contrast in their customers needs is reflected in their specialty services with a variety of gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, raw & paleo diet options. The décor is clean & cool with an industrial, rustic beauty & offers both indoor & outdoor comforts. They even allow dogs on the patio, although my pack of wild hounds will probably never have the pleasure of experiencing the ambiance the outdoor spaces create, I'm grateful for the option. As someone who loves nature & the outdoors, I value TH's rolling garage door style windows that give the space a refreshing, open air feel in the heart of Ohio City. The large dividing garage style door that can be used to separate the space between the restaurant & urban café also doubles as an enormous screen when they project games, making the entertainment accessible from any angle. The staff is fresh faced, friendly & has always offered fast accommodating service in my time there. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen looks like a work of art. The abundance of brews, whisky, cocktails, milkshakes, smoothies from the juice bar & coffees from the bean bar gives you more than enough variety to wash down their delicious meals. In addition to serving all of your dining & drinking needs, TH is incredible not only for their community involvement but for their investment in their customers interests & businesses. TH hosts an awesome array of weekly music, sports, art events & special speakers. As a small business owner of the online Etsy boutique ArteryArsenal, TH hosted a successful pop-up shop for Artery & allowed me to offer my art, home décor & vintage jewelry to their customers. TH features local artists & businesses at their pop up shop series on Vegan Mondays. TownHall is an exceptional example of an establishment that brings something special to their city, collaborates with their community & cares about their customers. Keep on keepin' on! read more

First off, we were there on Monday for vegan night. My first impression was it seemed pretty healthy in the aspect of no GMOs, real food, that kind of thing. It's very ahead of the trends. About half of the front section is a café area that is much more lowkey and chill. Great for getting work done. The other side as well as the back outdoor area is more lively, dimmer lighting, music, a bar, general vibes. It was beautiful I can't lie. Our server, Emily, seems like a pro from what I could tell. We were seated and quickly given water. She gave us a great and thorough rundown of the menu and drinks, and asked about dietary restrictions/allergies, and I informed her of my dairy allergy. She gave us some time to think about what we wanted, then we put in orders for food. She was supposed to come around and check back in if we wanted drinks since we were still deciding, but she seemed to vanish for a bit, eventually she made her way back around and apologized, informing us she had just seated 7 tables, no biggie, we had decided we weren't going to order drinks anyway so it wasn't a loss for us by any means. We ordered truffle fries (no parm), the Thai Peanut bowl, and their burger (vegan bun, no cheese). The truffle fries were good, though my boyfriend said they were different than they used to be, and now aren't as good. The Thai peanut bowl was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor, loved it. A favorite for sure. The burger did arrive with cheese, which thankfully my boyfriend ate some and noticed first before I tried my half (we split meals between each other). When our server came around we told her there was cheese on it and she apologized, took it away to bring us a different one, (we also asked for it in a to go container since we were quite full at this point), and she brought another one back for us as well as 2 brownies (dairy free, gluten free, vegan) to reconcile. Our server Emily was extremely kind, knowledgeable of the menu, and accommodating. Five stars for her. I did take one star off because I did feel a slight reaction to the truffle fries, and needed Benadryl, though it clearly wasn't enough to be a severe reaction. The cheese on the burger could have been worse and that is also a reason for only 4 stars, but our server clearly did her best to rectify the situation and she did. Not her fault at all. Overall, I enjoyed it and will be back. read more

Townhall is a pretty trendy spot, and not without reason. The location is perfect, right smack in the middle of all the Ohio City 25th St happenings. The inside is beautifully done with natural wood. They have garage windows in front and back which are fantastic in the warmer months. The front has a few outdoor tables, but it's the back patio that is really set up well, and almost tricks you into thinking you're on holiday for the afternoon. This is a great place for groups, as they have long tables, and they take reservations. It gets pretty busy, so seating a large party can be a bit difficult even with all the longer tables. As for service, it's not bad, I haven't really had any rude experiences, but it's not the most attentive. They give you bottles of water to refill your glass, so that solves my biggest problem, and for that I praise them. Not bad, not remarkable. Where Townhall falls a bit short in my opinion is their vegan meals. My meat/dairy eating friends tend to rave about the food, so I'm not going to say the food overall isn't great. They put a modern flare on just about all their dishes which is great for most people (took my mom there for Mother's Day one year, and she hated it. She's isn't very adventurous, more of a meat and potatoes and other homestyle american kind of person. If you have really boring eaters in your group, it may not be the best). Personally, I love when chefs come up with creative meals with good fresh ingredients. I just haven't yet been wowed with the food. I don't want to say there isn't a vegan meal that I would love, I just haven't found it. Next time I go to brunch I'm going to try the crepe bar, as they have quite a few vegan options, and it may end up having me rave about the place! That being said, I appreciate the effort very much, and it's great to be able to go out to a place my friends love and eat a meal consisting of something other than steamed frozen veggies, fries, and if I'm lucky, hummus. Side note: they give you a little cup of ketchup to go with your fries. Mine was not even 1/2 full. Maybe they've found that it gets wasted because the standard fries come with Parmesan, but man if you are serious about ketchup, you may want to ask for more in advance. Oh and YUM for the vegan salted Carmel milkshake made with the ice cream from Mitchell's next door. read more

Food is excellent, service is prompt especially at the bar. The place always feels lively and busy and the food has always met or exceeded expectations and comes out surprisingly fast and well-plated given how busy it can be. My major complaint is with the carry out station. I come here a lot, like 2-3 times a week, and have noticed a tendency of the front staff to be selective about who they choose to acknowledge and greet and who they choose to ignore and let stand there until you basically have to approach them. The last time I wasn't even acknowledged while a few people cut me in line and were instantly greeted with smiles. When I gave someone the evil eye about it, I was met with major attitude and sass. I'm the general manager of a popular east side restaurant, I've worked in this industry for 20+ years, and if any of my front people treated a guest like that .... they wouldn't be working there anymore. I understand that it can get busy and there are a lot of people going in and out, but all I'm talking about is simple guest acknowledgment and not giving the appearance of being selective with whom you greet. Something just as simple as a "hi there I'll be right with you" can go a long way. Often when standing by the carry out station, staff seem to be looking down into screens, entering Uber orders etc. all it takes is two seconds to look up, make eye contact, smile and say hi I'll be right with you. When I was ignored after standing there for about 10 minutes with two other guests jumping in front of me and being insta-greeted I couldn't help but feel slighted. Like I was some kind of burden. I've talked to several other friends about this, and they have had similar experiences there. read more

If you've ever had a friend or family member who's never been to Cleveland but constantly gives you crap for it not being cool, Townhall is the place you take them to absolutely change their mind. During the week the restaurant changes the game with their food menu and will raise your guests standards for every future restaurant they go to. From the AMAZING Prosciutto wrapped dates to the savory short rib dinner and every Power salad in between, the menu literally has something everyone can enjoy while still being a completely non-gmo restaurant which is completely impressive on its own. At night and on the weekends though, it turns into the absolute best place to be to get a couple drinks. The place fills up but the thing that gets my attention is the company it brings in; forget the 35 craft draft beers or the incredibly extensive list of whiskey and bourbon and look at the crazy cool people you can meet when you step out of the uber. And it still doesn't stop there! Saturday and Sunday morning until 2:00 you can come get your brunch on with their homemade bloody Mary's and mimosas, and they'll even put a Popsicle in your mimosa if that's your thing! They have a build your own crepe station, so whether you're 8 years old and picky or you're 27 and hungover, you get EXACTLY what you want and it'll blow you away. Coolest place in Cleveland, hands down. Just ask any of the amazing staff members or any of their competition on the block; Townhall is the place to be for sure. read more

Brand new micro-brew pub & organic food bar located in the Ohio City District on Cleveland's near West-side. I went here for some of the NBA finals games and was in awe that this style venue is located in Cleveland. The ownership payed incredible attention to deal; from the old school lights hanging from a long steel rod above the bar, to the stone finishes around the many large TVs, this place is groovy! The service staff is friendly, attentive and attractive. The brew list is long and the food is healthy yet tasty (and fast!). Town Hall is a game changer as far Cleveland bar/pubs go. It's trendy, yet not hipster. It's fun, yet not too loud or annoying. The music playlists are a mixture of rock and alternative; bass driven relaxing backyard BBQ style. The crowd is a mixture, but mainly 26-35, young professional, well dressed but not dressed for the club; jeans and collared shirts mostly. If you happen to bump into someone you don't know here, they're most likely to pat you on the back and say "no worries," as opposed to the ego-driven crowd more suited for the Warehouse District. Town Hall is the best thing yet in the Cleveland bar/ pub scene and another incredible edition in the development of the Ohio City District, already home to the Great Lakes Brewery. It is the first of, hopefully, a number of other micro-brew style pubs; which would signal a social change in the City of Cleveland, from mini, trashy New Jersey Shore to the elite Lincoln Park in Chicago. read more

If Townhall had just a little better service I would give it 5 stars. The actual place is very large with a long bar and plenty of seating. There are always a lot of people working on the floor and behind the bar, but it seems never enough to get the attention of a waitress or bartender. The patio is great and very well built. Most of the girls working behind the bar have serious attitudes issues, especially for brunch hours. Nights and weekends the place turns into a club like atmosphere, with tons of people. Getting a drink during those hours is quite a challenge, and eating while 30 people are right in your face is not how I like to eat dinner. However to my four star review! The food is the saving grace ! I have been eating at Townhall for brunch on a regular basis, and have not been disappointing. The fresh grass fed lamb burger is amazing. I am very picky when it comes to fresh lamb , and the meat is perfectly prepared. The salads and gluten free options are a great way to eat healthy for a somewhat reasonable price. The appetizers taste amazing ( all of them) and are great portions to share with another person. Also the middle eastern dishes are done properly. The beer selection is great as well. Plenty of options from micro-breweries locally and across the United States, and the mixed drinks are well poured. Overall I enjoy Townhall when it is not overwhelmingly busy. Some people like when it is crowded, it is just not my taste. read more

After being confused at first when I walked in a waitress stopped (holding like five plates I was surprised she stopped) She gave me the run down. She also pointed out the bathroom, thanks bc we NEVER would have found it. We sampled a few beers and I settled on the Upland (good!) and my lady got some kind of raspberry beer, very sweet kinda like wine. They have a bunch of juice and smoothies so I'll have to stop here before work one day. There was a wait on the beers, I know its busy...but you know its a beer not a mixed drink. The waitress was apologetic though and offered us water when we first came in, so we had something. I got: The Kobe Burger, mid rare, no cheese aioli on the side (I dont like to commit to a sauce before I taste it) with the truffle oil fries. So awesome. I didnt know I liked truffle fries. The meat was closer to medium but it had that charred on the outside pink on the inside so It was quite delicious. She got: A fig jam flat bread with prosciutto. At first I kinda laughed at her. Fig jam lol stfu. Then she got it on a wheat crust...It actually wasnt bad. Like a salty/sweet quality to it. It was quite big our server offered to box it up for us which is nice. There was a wait on our drinks but the food came out pretty fast. We also got some dessert to go, a huge cupcake, cookies and cream like, and a equally huge cookie that was dark and white chocolate chip. It really hit the spot after a long day. read more

Townhall is one of my favorite places to get takeout in OhioCity! The flavors are bold and there are many health conscious options- I really like the vegan grilled cheese sandwich or Harvest salad with tofu -probably one of the best tofu places in Cle. If you prefer to order takeout, the online ordering system is pretty easy to use, and allows orders to be picked up via carside delivery. Orders are usually prepared quickly, but now that people have resumed eating in, Town hall does not have as much time to make sure takeout orders are correctly placed in the takeout area, so be sure to ask for help if needed. Only other thing is that sometimes the app does not refresh to describe items that are out of stock, so you might order one item and but receive slightly different versions each time, however, it's always really good. If you are looking to dine-in, the ambience is really great and the remodel turned out pretty nice! There are many plants that double as decor and also air purifiers, which is a plus if you ask me. The setup can be intimate, but also casual. I have seen work colleagues, friends, partners and even wedding parties done in! Once you've filled up on a satisfying meal, you might be like me, and have to hit the books when you get home. In this case, they have a fantastic espresso bar, with drinks that can be ordered to go! read more

Townhall is amazing. I've been coming here at least once a week since I moved to Cleveland 2 years ago. I see a few negative reviews on here knocking this place and I just don't get it. For starters, the food here is not only excellent and quickly prepared, but their mission to provide fresh, organic, non gmo foods is totally unparalleled- not just in this city but across America. Very few places compare. And within these confines they have a consistently delicious product. If you don't believe me look how long the line is here all the time. Despite the lines the service here is quick and efficient, very even from visit to visit, and they get people in and out fast. As far as quality control the owner and management is here day in and day out making sure everything goes smoothly. This place is family owned and operated and they care. The drinks are top notch, the craft beer selection is local and incredible, and they've recently added some killer coffee and locally produced juices to their menu. Finally- for what you get the prices here are ridiculously fair. This same concept in a place like Chicago or New York would probably set you back 3x as much, if not more. Look around Cleveland and within this neighborhood. There's simply no other place that compares. Townhall will continue to be my home! read more

I came in on a Wednesday and sat on the side with the bar. We were sat right away once I spotted where the host is stationed. A nice little high top booth with a sweet red hair waitress. I remember her bc she was wearing a kawaii jewelery I didnt think American girls wore. I got the CocoLoco and my friend got the a sunrise. I was scared when I saw how green the drink was! But it was so good! I tried hers too and it was good but I like the texture of smoothies better. She ordered the Noodles bowl I think it was chicken she liked it but needed a litttle hot sauce our waitress offered to us earlier. We always say yes to hot sauce! I got the metta bowl with tofu. Very good tofu! The flavor was actually really good, sometimes it can be bland at places or too spongey. Overall I think I will return to try the Veggie burger, the vegetarian optioned are very good here! Parking is hard bc the lot fills up quickly. I love how breezey it was the space is so large and opened. I see reviews about bad service. Not the day I went someone else brough out our food and he was very polite and chaming and brought us more napkins for our centerpiece. I think this new place will be a big hit! read more

Town Hall is a great addition to the west 25th street bars and restaurants. The space is beautiful - rich wood covered walls and tables. It resembles a space you'd expect to see in the Pacific Northwest. I love how airy and open it is inside, and the back patio is very urban and cool. A perfect fit for Ohio City. The restaurant has a fresh and vibrant vibe. It's great to finally have some healthy menu options is the area. They offer fresh juices and smoothies that are made to order with no artificial ingredients. If you're vegetarian or vegan, there are numerous options on the menu including a veggie burger, tofu burrito, grilled cheese and tomato soup, and several others. Everything I've ordered has been great. For brunch, the crepe bar is not to be missed. The homemade ginger ale is amazing too, as well as their herb infused cocktails. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth checking out if you've never been. Ignore the negative reviews- all new restaurants have a few kinks to work out in the beginning. We dine and drink here often and will continue to do so. Perfect summer spot. read more

I went to townhall last night for the first time. I've heard so much buzz about this place I figured needed to check it out. I walked in around 8:00 pm and the place was packed. The moment I walked in we were addressed by a young lady who helped us get a table. It seems like every employee knows every detail about that place. You can tell that comes down from management and ownership. We were seated promptly and addressed by our server quickly. She asked us if we had ever been to townhall before? and we said no. She then began to explain to us what townhall is all about and all the amazing things they do to make sure they do things right. She even explained to us what a GMO was and the negative affects it has on your body and how their menu was 100% GMO free. That was just the food portion. She also brought us several beer samples to make sure we ordered exactly what we were looking for. The food matched the service! Everything was amazing. Overall it was one of the best restaurant experiences in my life. I can't wait to go back! read more

This is great. Very excited there is a place that great atmosphere and food. Townhall has always been one of my favorite places to go to grab a beer and a good healthy meal. They have a huge variety of drafts to choose from, signature cocktails that are all made in house, and any kind of allergy anyone in my family has they can modify almost anything to accommodate anyone's needs. The menu items change their ingredients frequently which I personally think if a great thing. The management team and kitchen crew are always working on improvements to all dishes and menu items, so every change they make is always a step up from the last idea. Townhall is my go to spot for drinks with friends, dinner with family or even a place that is super children friendly for my nieces and nephews during brunches on the weekends there. Recently they just created a new app feature that allows customers to be rewarded for their loyalty to what Townhall stands for, a non GMO and organic healthy lifestyle read more

Great great place! Yes I know it's super crowded right now but hello it's because it's new! The place itself is GORG and though the staff was slower, It's what is expected those first few months so I will focus on the things I loved not the basic new opening kinks everyone has. Top 3 best things... 1. Beer selection. I like light beer so I highly recommend the Michigan blond it was perfectly served cool crisp and refreshing 2. The space. Whether you want an outdoor patio feel, inside booth or cafe style atmosphere the place offers it all. It's huge and has so many seating options which makes it an easy dining choice for anyone! 3. The dessert! Hubby and I split the cupcake of the day which was red velvet... OMG to die for. The best frosting I have ever had and the cake we just perfect. We literally fought over the last bite! We ordered the BBQ flag bread pizza which was great and huge! More than enough for two. Tons of flavor and kick! Good job TH we will be back soon! read more

Where to even begin? In all honesty, dining and/or drinking at townhall is an experience in and of itself. Whether you're coming in to take advantage of their 100% non-GMO food menu, expertly crafted house cocktails, or carefully planned craft draft list, Townhall has something unique to offer that you can't just find anywhere else down the street, and is accommodating enough so that anyone is able to stop in and easily enjoy a meal. As you enjoy such, the atmosphere manages to maintain a relaxed vibe, despite the volume the restaurant/bar tends to bring in, and everywhere you look, staff members are doing their best to ensure a quality experience for their guests. I've never felt more taken care of as I have during my dining experiences at Townhall, and I always leave looking forward to my next visit. Pro-tip: Every Monday night their entire draft list is $3 from 6-close, on top of their special vegan menu from 5-10 pm (get the chimichangas ~ just do it). read more

It's tucked away in a residential area inside an old house, giving it a charm that's impossible to manufacture. The interior is unpretentious, cozy, and full of character... and maybe a few characters too. The barkeeps have plenty of personality. There are no robotic greetings or scripted welcomes here, just genuine hospitality from people who seem happy to be behind the bar. Whiskey dominates the spirits menu, but there's plenty else to choose from. And don't let the casual vibe fool you--you can absolutely get a serious cocktail here, expertly made and perfectly balanced. On the food side, if you've had one too many and need something substantial to soak up the drinks, may I suggest the Polish Platter? To be very transparent, it was the most underwhelming Ritz experience. AMBIANCE: Luxe hotel restaurant with an innovative fireplace, ambient lighting, various seating options including comfy leather chairs and sofas. It's separated from the lobby by glass. The establishment looks romantic enough for a date and formal enough for a formal meeting. Most attendees during my visit were having drinks solo and watching sports at the bar (big screens are available). The restaurant is never crowded, there's plenty of room for private conversations. It's equally comfortable for solo diners, couples, and guests. ENTRY: The restaurant can be entered through two distinct entrances. Enter from the Tower City Center and ascend to the skylight level. Enter through the main Ritz-Carlton doors. You will arrive on the first floor lobby. Take the elevator to the sixth floor lobby, and arrive at Turn. Various parking options are available at the hotel. Use the hotel's valet at the main entrance. Park at Laz Parking in the basement level of the Tower City Center (parking reservations are available prior to the arrival). DRINKS: I tried zero proof mocktail Berry. Berry contained Lyres Italian Orange, Blackcurrant, and Fever Tree Tonic. The zero proof mocktail was priced $15. The mocktail was extremely average and underwhelming. Not much flavor and not memorable. Signature cocktails were priced at $27. That's we'll above downtown drink average. They looked pretty average, no impressive presentation or theatrics. I observed that most people were enjoying beer. SERVICE: The service was the most disappointing part. There were two bartenders working during my visit and very few guests. Both bartenders ignored me for a while to the point that a few other guests made joking comments. Once there was finally service, I considered it to be extremely uppity. No genuine customer service or warm exchange. To be honest, the service was one of the worst I've experienced in downtown Cleveland. Considering this is Ritz it was very underwhelming. A single experience at Turn is in order if you've never experienced it. You'll like the intimate ambiance and downtown view. I will not be returning. I didn't find any captivating menu items and was disheartened by the hospitality.
