I love Townhall. I seriously need to come back because if loving TownHall this much is bad then I don't want to be right...lol. NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINKS selection - out of this world. My friend and I split the truffle fries. I also ordered the green matcha drink. The salmon was well done and sooooo good. Those truffle fries were DA BOMB!!! The drink just topped it all off. I was so impressed with my meal. I came here again on my birthday (October 20, 2017) and ordered the vegetarian burger along with a Turmeric drink. YES, YES, YES. As a meat eater who has eaten plenty of vegetarian dishes, I definitely loved this one because it was full of flavour. Protein fix? Check. Birthday cake surprise? Check. The staff sang happy birthday to me and brought the most delicious mini cookie/ice-cream dessert. I was in heaven. And oh, I love the seating outside with the little fireplace. VIBE -- good vibes only. I remember coming here a third time in December to hang out by the bar with some friends. Although I don't drink, the vibe was cool enough where I didn't feel awkward. I don't understand the hype about this place. I've been here several times hoping that I would find something that I liked but I can't. I ordered the Southern Comfort. The biscuit was very sweet which I wasn't expecting and the gravy had no flavor. The one biscuit was so hard you almost need a saw to cut it. Listened to 4 songs of this garbage and left. I asked to talk to a manager. A young guy got someone who got someone else and a 4th person came over. They all called it pop music and normalized it. A song talking about running a train is not normal. B***h 36 times in a single song is not normal! They also promised craft beer drafts on their Facebook event page. They did not do this either. I was only offered "light" domestic bottles. Draft beer wouldnt have kept us. We could have gone to great lakes, had craft beer and oysters in a decent environment! It was years ago when I first tried Townhall. Since then, it's only grown in popularity, and for good reason. There's really not much to complain about unless you don't like crowded spaces. This is a very energetic, lively restaurant, that serves excellent food and drinks. And if you're a Cleveland sports fan, you'll appreciate the home team feeling. I've been to Townhall a bunch and have finally come around to giving it a review. 100% Non-GMO and most of the menu options are organic. Came here on a Saturday for Brunch and didn't have to wait to be seated. The overflow seating, which to my understanding is an addition to the building, was a need. The brunch menu was full of overwhelming options that can come custom to order to help work around any dietary restrictions. I got the Eggwich breakfast sandwich and their zero-toxin bulletproof coffee. The breakfast sandwich came with rosemary potatoes and was pretty standard to me. The coffee was great and I would recommend trying the bulletproof coffee. The waiting staff are very nice and know a detailed amount about the menu. read more

Stopped by here before I took a Lyft to CLE. I wanted to buy my dinner from here, because I was impressed by Townhall's mission to provide healthy, clean, non-GMO food. Inside had a late-night party vibe. I'm assuming it's a great place to have some food with friends. Anyways... their zucchini noodle bowl sounded pretty appetizing, so I ended up ordering that to go. Come to dinner time, when I actually took a bite of my order, the first thought I had about the food was that the tomato sauce was SOOOO SALTY. That, and a few of the carrots didn't taste quite right - almost as if they were rotten? The rest of the ingredients in this dish (i.e. the chicken, zucchini, broccoli, peas) tasted fine, but honestly, the entire meal was too salty for my liking. I hate to be leaving such a poor review for Townhall, but I expected so much better, considering that the menu and food sounded amazing. 09/19 update: came back here to try other things on the menu. I really REALLY wanted to give Townhall a second chance, because I still appreciate their mission to promote healthy, wholesome food. The second time I came back, I opted for a poke bowl with cucumber noodles. Couldn't have made a better decision, because the cool cucumber pairs perfectly with the fish. The portion was small, given I paid $11 for it. But it was pretty tasty - a good way to end a warmer fall day in the Cleveland area. Can't wait to try more of their dishes. I was so impressed with this restaurant! Firstly, we went on a week night but had no trouble fInding parking and it was only $3. It's a super cool but casual restaurant. You can get food to go or eat theree. They have a restaurant side which is a little more formal, or a side where you can order at the register and they will bring your food. I was so excited about their keto menu. The brussel sprouts were fabulous! The keto chicken tenders were great. So nice to see somewhere providing options for this way of eating. This restaurant stands out as an example of how bad Cleveland's food is and of Ohio in general. It may be most reviewed but I cannot believe its first unless the others are all so unappetizing. The chicken sandwich must get or else recommended was dry and not flavorful, emphasis on how dry. The fries were good but whose fries aren't. I gave the meal a C+. We order two appetizers and the portions were big enough to share. Since it was a Friday night we had to sit at the bar. In the end, it was for the best. People had to wait a long time for drinks but we didn't. It is a great place for family and friends during the day and totally awesome at night if you want to party. We went back to TownHall for brunch this past weekend to see if our experience would be better than our initial experience. I'm glad we did because it was AMAZING! Even though it was busy, we received everything we ordered in a timely manner. Our food was incredible! It was all delicious! The vegan/vegetarian brunch options were plentiful, a detail that always impresses me! I also want to give a shout out to Erica, our waitress. She was phenomenal! She was friendly and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. I was impressed with the way she accommodated the table next to us who just missed the brunch menu cutoff. Gluten free heaven!! The most unexpected and wonderful restaurant where basically the entire menu can be gluten free - menu is so spectacular hard to choose just one entree. Came here on a Saturday late afternoon, and it was good! Having been here a long time ago only for boozing, I was interested to see how the food is here. We sat outside in the back, and we made sure to get one of their large umbrellas because of some light rain. One in the party got the burger, one got the harvest salad, and one toy the Thai peanut bowl. Everyone loved their food! I got the poke bowl with cucumber noodles. It was nice and refreshing, and I liked the choice of sauces. I will say, however, there isn't a lot of fish in this dish, so probably not a great value for the money. Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking to another restaurant and decided to try it for brunch the next day. The ambiance is fun, a little loud and the restaurant is very open and airy. It seemed very popular amongst the locals. It is apparently the only non-gmo restaurant in Cleveland. Service was good. I ordered Veggie Burger. It was delicious and tasted fresh. Usually restaurants serve crappy veggie burgers, but these guys make it from scratch. I ordered fries along with that and they were amazing. Husband ordered cheese burger and it was, well, good but nothing to write home about. The menu can be a little confusing. Apparently with burgers you get sides but no where on the menu said that. Got a little confusing while placing the order and husband ended up with 4 clumsy pieces of tomato and 4 tiny pieces of avocado as his side. The bulletproof coffee and Turmeric latte was good. We were there last Monday, expecting it to be quiet, and it was fairly busy. Most of the inside tables were filled, and the outside patio was very busy. Our server was Liza, who was great. She recommended the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer, and it was excellent. My wife wanted a salad with Salmon but replace the bacon with vegan bacon, which was on the menu. Liza went to the kitchen to make sure it could be done before we ordered. Food was very good and then we split the brownie dessert. Liza was friendly and very attentive to our table, constantly refilling our drinks. We would recommend the restaurant as well as Liza. read more

I had heard a lot about TownHall and it's been on my CLE list for awhile. I am from CLE, currently reside in Cbus, but I am back home often. I am also aware that they are about ready to open a TownHall down the street from where I live in the Short North in Columbus. However, my first trip to this location was a little less than I expected it to be. I thought this place had a more "restaurant" focus but when we went, it felt way more like a bar that also served food. There was loud music, which I typically try to stay away from. I guess the place I envisioned TownHall to be is not what it actually is. But either way, we were seated within a few mins even though we were told it would be a 20 min wait. I was starving and knew I wanted a burger and fries, so we ordered as soon as our waitress came over. The burger and fries were good, but it is kind of a smaller portion. I could see this being considered a "lunch" portion at other establishments. I was still a tad hungry after devouring my meal. My sister let me have some of her buffalo cauliflower wraps and I wasn't impressed. They tasted too much like cauliflower and not nearly enough buffalo. All in all, I would go back, but it would never be at the top of my list. Fits in well with the area and would be a good spot to watch a Browns or Tribe game in Ohio City. read more
