I have always been a big fan of Tpumps. The service and customer service is excellent! The employees always look like they are having a great time and they always play some upbeat fun music. The Burlingame location is no exception! The line is ALWAYS long but it's worth the wait. You definitely get what you pay for. Try something hot also. I'm always so conflicted on what to get every time I come here because there are so many flavors and you can mix and match any flavors you want. I usually just get their iced teas, and when I get the flavor combinations down right the drink is pretty good. I decided to keep it simple for once and just get honeydew milk tea - that was a bad idea. The drink was so watered down. I'm definitely going to stick with their teas from now on. Out of the three Bay Area locations, this Tpumps is by far the best. Aesthetically more appealing. Its modern, clean design is fitting for bgame ave. No safe deposit boxes or shipping materials here. There are never too many people here, and if there are the wait isn't long at all... at least not Monday-Friday. And the drinks are SO much better. I've never experienced my honey coco bmt or straw coco bmt being watered down here. Plus I can actually taste the tea! What a concept. If it weren't for the Burlingame PD always pulling me over for bs reasons (barely trying to mask their blatant racial profiling) I'd totally go to this one over San Mateo's location any day. read more

Really happy that they opened one of these in Burlingame! I've been a fan of Tpumps since discovering the San Mateo location, and have been going there ever since. I've also tried quite a few other places - Quickly, Fantasia, and some other places in the South Bay that I can't remember at the moment. Tpumps is definitely up there in terms of quality, flavor, and price. The ability to fully customize your drink is awesome. I generally find bubble tea to be overly sweet, so getting no sweetness is perfect for me. And, since I'm lactose intolerant, the fact they use lactose free milk be default is excellent...plus you get to choose what kind of tea, meaning endless combinations. Every time i visit there are always employees handing out samples, so you get to try a few weird mixes and get an idea of the flavors before you order. My only problems with Tpumps is that a few of the flavors taste really synthetic, so there are some that I stay away from (it's not nearly as bad as some of the other places that just used powdered flavors though!). Because of that, Fantasia in Cupertino is still my favorite, but this place is a close second and much less far of a bike ride! read more

Never was a TPumps fan until this one came to Burlingame. I like that I can customize my drink depending on my mood. I always get light sweetness on my drinks because I don't want it too sweet. Honey boba is good also, though I skip that one most of the time cuz it's so darn filling (which is good when I haven't eaten lunch!). Flavor combos I like are mango tangerine and chocolate peppermint. The place is bigger than the San Mateo location, and it still garners long lines that reach a few stores away. Cashiers are efficient as well as the drink makers in the back. I appreciate that they wipe the condensation off the finished drinks before handing it to the customer. Also like the free samples they give regardless of how long the line is. Makes you feel special. One thing that I wish they still did was give out printed receipts. The location in sunset is always a mad house but this location is still not as bad. It does get crowded but the line moves quickly. If you haven't been to TPumps before, their tea flavors and the ability to combine those with different sweetness levels really makes this place unique. On my last visit I ordered the green apple, tangerine, honey, black tea and it was refreshing and unique. Their prices may seem a bit high for tea but comparable to other places. I always get their large 32oz size because I can't get enough of their tea. The only downside to me is the long wait sometimes and the numerous teenagers that seem to flock to this place. Came here on our trip to Northern CA. Not sure what the hype is with this place. It sounded good when we saw it on Yelp but when we actually arrived, it wasn't THAT special. I liked, however, that you can order the drink to your liking, you can literally choose up to 3 toppings if I'm not mistaken. I dont' understand that though, because I don't think I would ever put Jelly, with red bean or anything else together. It's just awkward. This place, having some of the best tasting tea in the Bay Area, also has exceedingly long waits. A few times I've attempted to wait in the monstrous line it has so often, and it has occasionally lasted over 30 minutes. Though the overlying factor is the exceptionally tasty drinks. Came here on a Saturday night after going to the San Mateo location with probably a 45 min wait. There was almost no line, and our drinks came pretty quickly which was great. I got a litchi passion milk green tea with honey. The tea was alright, quite sweet even though I got light sweetness. However, there was almost no tea flavor and it tasted watered down. Loyal and frequent tpumps fan here. After ordering 6 drinks the cashier added my 5 stars point. I saw it flash 32 points but at the end, it ended up just being 6. After inquiring about what happen to my previous points that I jus saw on the screen that I could have redeemed at that time, I got the run around about how it could be their system, to check back next time, to a point where they told me there is no way to prove that I had any points at all. I love your drinks and have been a loyal customer to all three locations. But instead helping me figure out a solution I got of brushed off instead. I frequent this location since it's closer to my house. But prob would now go to the SM or SF location instead. Why have a rewards system if you don't honor it. read more

The SM branch always has a line to I decided to try it to see what it was about. The stars are primarily for cleanliness, good customer service, and the boba. Otherwise the drink is too artificially flavored for my taste and too sweet, despite getting low or no sugar. It's funny to me how people can get so worked up about their food preferences and yet go for a junk drink like this but different strokes for different folks. Came here twice. Drinks are pretty good, the boba is hit or miss. It's really, really warm inside the store, so expect to be waiting and sweating for 20 minutes. The last time my gf and I went, within 2 minutes of getting in line... we were cut by two people who were "meeting up with friends." With that, we decided to leave immediately, and we won't be coming back any time soon. The long lines at almost any hour were curious so I finally had to invest 20 minutes to queue up for a cup of tea. Unthinkable really! Was it worth it? I still don't get the queue (are we really THIS MAD about boba?) but I did enjoy my order. Every week I drive 20 minutes just to get my tpumps fix. This is by far my favorite boba place and they kill it on all aspects. First the level of customization is unparalleled (type of tea, milk/no milk, sweetness, honey/popping boba, and SO MANY FLAVORS). The boba is like little chewy clouds of goodness. They have a pretty impressive selection of flavor for milk tea. But the quality of the tea needs improvement. It barely has any taste of tea, also you have to pay extra for whole milk. Cheap. This was my first time here and it was good experience. They have a lot of flavor options and several tea options. I got the mango milk tea with black tea. It was very good! It was smooth and the regular sweetness is just the right amount in my opinion. I can taste the mango flavoring and the milk tea. Service was nice too. Orders come up pretty quickly. This place is awesome. I never knew about it until one day I had an interview in Burlingame and my mom was like "would you like to go get boba" so me, my bf, and my mom all went to this place that she had found with cousins earlier that week. So, the line is super long, but I understand why. They come and serve you free samples while you wait so if you're dying to drink something, you can have a little taste of something yummy while you wait. They have tons of options, so many I was confused at first when I got there at what to even do until my mom explained. When we got up there I decided to keep it pretty classic to my taste and get a green tea taro milk tea with normal bubbles and "normal" sweet.(you can choose the amount of sweet you would like). When my bf tried my taro milk tea he absolutely fell in love and practically demands (aka really likes) taro milk tea almost every single day. When Tpumps people went crazy for it and the lines were out of control. They aren't as bad as before but sometimes the line can be long. I loved going to tpumps because of the affordable price with the amount they gave and being able to choose what to put was awesome. I came here the other day in a long time and I noticed things looked different. The place where they gave out stuff looked different and they even sold tea and everything. The most surprising thing was that they changed the price. It's not that expensive but compared with the price it used to be I think it's not worth it. It was $2.95 and raised up to 3.50 and I always got extra boba and that's like another .50 cents. I still will come here but not as often with all these changes that's going on read more
