Mani by Nancy! She is always doing a great job, I highly recommend her. Just in time for Xmas!

Called Nancy last minute for a mani and pedi . She is always doing an exceptional job!

When I asked them to take off the UGLY nails they gave me..... THANKS FOR NOTHING.

DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The worst service. They paint nails like a toddler would. They are so unprofessional and I will NEVER be going back EVER again. I STRONGLY advise everyone to stay away from this disgusting nail place. The picture is of my nails after I asked them to take them off. R u joking?!

This is a photo of the polishes and gels offered from my seat as I get a manicure.

This is my second time here and from my experience with them I believe that they provide a great service. Mimi, Jan, and Mai are excellent and make me and my girlfriend who frequents this place feel appreciated. I'm very self conscious about my feet and these ladies go above and beyond in making my feet feel fresh and so clean. I don't know if they'll read this review but from the soaking, cuticle removing, buffing, exfoliating with the pumice stone (bet you didn't think I knew that) to the massage they definitely deserve recognition. As I sit here, I realize that I probably should do this more often. From running, playing basketball, and low maintenence my feet and hands deserve this and so do yours. Mai is excellent and this is a great enough for me. I feel relaxed and from my experiences the ladies have made me feel comfortable returning.

Don't be alarmed. The cuticle is my doing. I pick at them when I'm nervous etc. so this was me not them

Wow. It's been a while since I've reviewed a place. But I'm back! And coming in hot with this 1 star review. Let me start by saying because of the Covid situation I totally understand that things have been weird and I feel for all the local businesses. Therefore I'm happy Tracy's nails has reopened and is back in business. However, there were some issues. In the last few months I've been trying hard to only use my card not cash. Given the situation I feel it's a "safer" option. I only had credit cards with me yesterday and was happy my friend Kel came with me. If I couldn't Venmo... cause you know it's the future and venmo is pretty popular if you don't carry around cash or your debit card.... anyways. Kel was going to get money and pay for me. God bless! Thank you. The staff was very kind and attentive. However the issue was with the final product... the nails. Hmm. Not happy. First my nails feel like they've been filed down to the point of where I'm terrified of working with my hands because I think at any moment they will break.. scary and also kinda painful. Next, the color. It was definitely an old bottle of nail polish that had been sitting around. The color was stringy and didn't go on properly. Bubbles were forming and I've never had this happen with a gel manicure ever. I've attached pictures for reference. I know it's Halloween soon but the manicure looks like I've just dipped my hands in a pool of blood. My cuticles are all red and the color is bumpy and not smooth on my nails.. All in all. Not happy with the final product and for the price of my mani/pedi I would have expected more. Okay... I know I might be indecisive about my review. But after rereading one star would have been a little harsh. The ladies were very nice. Just the nail polish was old.

Lots of overhead lights are out and the mirror is filthy.

I don't give two stars lightly, but Tracy's Nails delivered one of the worst experiences in quality and customer service I've ever had at a nail salon. I got an OPI gel manicure on Saturday afternoon and by Sunday morning, several nails were already chipped. I hadn't done anything out of the ordinary, however, the technician had failed to paint the tips and sides which keeps the color from chipping. This all sounds silly, right? It's just a manicure. But I spent an hour of my day there. I work with my hands often so it's important for them to be polished and professional. I went back this morning and asked if she could kindly fix three of my nails, but she was so mean about it. She was roughly filing my fingernails down until they hurt. I asked for a refund and she refused. They only accept cash, so my credit card company couldn't help dispute it. Horrible customer service at Tracy's. My nails are in pain and I'll tell everyone to stay clear of this place. Cons: - Overwhelming smell of acetone - Cash Only with ATM fees - Feels sloppy and disorganized - Half of the overhead lights need to be replaced - Table was held up by tiny piece of wood - No parking - Horrible customer service Pros: - Located on Montana Avenue - Mimi is so sweet and does incredible Brazilian waxing - Decent $1/min. chair massages while you get your manicure done - Free WiFi

    How much for gel manicure?

How much is a pedicure? How much is a gel manicure? Powder manicure? Thanks!

They charged me $25 but added $10 just to remove old nail polish for a "basic" pedicure. No foot message must be extra.

This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a nail salon…read more My manicure started peeling after just a few days, and one nail broke. I came back to have it fixed, and they actually charged me for the repair, even though the manicure had barely lasted. I don't blame the technicians--they did a good job. The problem seems to be the old or poor-quality nail polish that doesn't last. The receptionist, Sasha, also ignored the technician I booked online and assigned me to someone else without any explanation. This has happened more than once. Her customer service is rude, and appointments don't seem to matter. On top of that, they charged me an extra $2 for using a credit card without telling me beforehand, and they don't even accept Apple Pay. It's not about the $2--it's about being transparent with customers. Between the poor-quality polish, charging for repairs after only a few days, the unprofessional front desk, and the hidden credit card fee, I won't be coming back or recommending this salon

I went for the first time last Friday to Santa Monica Nails to remove an old gel set and get…read moresomething for the Halloween season. This is only my second time getting gel so it's been a fun experience trying different styles / designs. I booked an appointment with Katherine as I saw she had good reviews and had time slots available. When I came in it wasn't very busy in the main room, but it sounded like there were some people in the other rooms getting pedicures I assume. Once Katherine came over, I showed her the design I was wanting and that I wanted to keep my nail shape the way they were since they were shaped at a previous gel appointment. The original inspo was more of a natural look with ghosts, but since my previous nails were an ombre French look, I decided I wanted a bolder color as the "background" to the ghosts. Katherine was very gentle and kind. I am usually a quiet person, but I debating on if I should chat with her. Eventually, I decided against it though since she seemed very focus on the nail designs and I didn't want to distract her. Plus I was getting pulled into the Love is Blind show on the TV. In the end, I was very happy with how my nails turned out. She had suggested glossy finish for the ghosts and matte on the background color. I wasn't 100% sure about this as I was so focused on the design in the inspo and just assumed the entire nail would be glossy, but I was willing to try and trust the process. Doing the contrast in finishes was actually a nice touch and helps the ghosts pop more. I also liked that she added mouths to the ghosts. In the inspo the ghosts only have eyes, but I liked that Katherine made the design her own and gave the ghosts more personality.
