My family and I had a great time at the Trainwreck Saloon last month. We went on a weekend during lunch and tried different types of burgers, margaritas and mixed drinks. The margarita special came with a shot of tequila and was inexpensive so me and my mom got two each! Super delicious! The burgers were great and so were the fries. My parents used to come to Westport Plaza for their anniversary every year in the 80's and 90's. I just want to say thank you to Trainwreck Saloon for the great memory. My dad passed away from cancer recently. I am very thankful he was able to visit Westport Plaza before he passed and was able to enjoy Trainwreck Saloon and be able to walk around the plaza and see the places him and my mom visited when they were young. The food was just okay and the service was pretty slow. Food Bison Burger: Unless you're looking to eat healthier, I'd stick to the regular burgers. Even though I got the bison cooked at medium, it was still pretty dry and tasteless Wings: Pretty good but nothing to write home about Service Our waitress was nice enough but she was pretty slow. We had specifically asked her for the wings as an appetizer prior to our entrees, but she completely forgot the wings. I reminded her about the wings and they came out after we had already finished our regular meals. Getting the bill was a whole other ordeal. It was a slow Monday night when I was there but still really noisy. The burger I had was good but the bottom half of the bun was soaking wet. It was more like eating a burger with only the top half of bun. The fries were a little over seasoned for my tastes but not too bad. I would eat here again but probably sit at the bar to get better service. read more

Love the Trainwreck and I am a frequent visit for business lunch or happy hour. Their burgers have ruined any other burger for me, and appreciate that they have a grass-fed option. Their service is always impeccable with friendly and attentive waitstaff and managers. read more

Don't sit at the bar....Jim the bartender gives you want he wants.... If your not one of his regulars, you have to wait to be served. He doesn't think anyone should eat anything orange So, don't order Sweet potato fries with him because .....You will get the regular ones! Don't waste your money or time. I went for lunch on a weekday. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were delicious and hot, but my cheeseburger was raw. I ripped the burger in half to check it and it was only cooked on the surface and around the edges. The waitress took the cheeseburger back to the kitchen and they cooked the same hamburger longer. It came out on a new bun, but it was the same meat. The cheeseburger should have been tossed and a new one cooked instead. Contamination issue. Also, I received no reduction in my bill or a freebie. The waitress didn't even blink (guess this happens a lot?). I know I won't return. read more

I got reservations for an after graduation get together. The reservations were met. It was busy that day so it took 30 minutes to put in our order and another hour to get our food. When I received my food (hamburger) it was raw. I had order it well done. I felt that since food took so long it should have been right the first time. I will wait for good food but I was highly disappointed and decided to eat elsewhere due to the fact that it had taken so long and the quality was not there. If I'm paying $10 for a hamburger I expect it done right the first time. My brother had also received a raw burger, he sent it back and it came back raw again. He order his well done too. Went to the place with a few friends had a lot of fun but I'm not sure if I would go there to try to 'pick someone up' I'm more of the nightclub/ upscale bar with bottle service. Otherwise the place had good prices and drinks. read more

Fish and chip batter... was odd. It was sweet and almost cinnamon-like.. Wouldn't recommend.

We ordered take out from here tonight, and two of our sandwiches had moldy buns. There seems to be a serious lack of quality control. Furthermore, what was edible was really not very good. Not recommended. read more

Went there with the family to try some place new. We waited about 6-7 minutes at the hostess sign before anyone even said 'hi'. Everyone just walked past us as if we were in the way. When we were seated, it wasn't by a waitress or a hostess but by the owner or manager. He took our drink order, and my wife found 1/2 a straw wrapper in her soda. Again, the waitresses ignored us and nobody ever came by to get our food order. We laughed out loud and simply left, never to return. That's unfortunate as it's right down the street. read more

I have been here a few times and enjoyed the food each time. Unfortunately I also had bad service all but one time. The wreck wings are outstanding and the burgers are pretty good. I also had something they call mexican raviolis which is just a toasted rav with pepper jack instead of meat, but they were good. I won't avoid this place but I probably won't be suggesting it in the near future. read more

Audra is the shining star behind the bar. Made me feel welcome in 5 minutes and is one of the best bartenders I have ever seen.

My husband and I love this place. The fries are outstanding and so is the Brakeman burger with soft cheddar. Also have had the wreck wings tasty and crisp the way I like them. My husband is in a wheelchair and it's a little hard to get in the door but worth the effort. read more

Horrible service!!! My husband was so excited to take me here for the first time tonight, and it was highly disappointing. We are both from the service industry, so I feel like our patience is higher than most customers, but there is NO excuse for the type of service we received. After sitting at the table for 15 minutes a server came up and asked us what to drink. 10 minutes after that a different server came up and asked us what we wanted to drink. 20 minutes after that our drinks arrive. The server then ignores us for another 20 minutes, telling us that she's very busy. We end up putting in buffalo wings, and after 20 minutes of waiting for those our server sets two plates on our table, a couple minutes later she comes back and puts two more plates on our table, laughs and walks away. It was bizarre!!! We eventually, after at least an hour to put in our order, we ask for her to run our card for the one beer because we're going to leave. She acted SHOCKED!!! really? You're shocked we're leaving? No apology? We wait for her take a 15 tops orders and then she comes back, without running the card, and tells us that the buffalo wings will be up soon. We ask that she please run the card for the beer, we have waited long enough. She comes back, with the receipt for the beer, which frankly should have been comped for our trouble, and gives us this half smile and chuckles, shrugs her shoulders, and says "well, sorry" in a very snippy tone. My husband had been looking over the menu during the day today and was super excited to go here. The service was sooo terrible, it was embarrassing. I do NOT recommend. Very disorganized and rude. No excuse. This is my first YELP review, as I stated I'm very patient at restaurants as I bartended/served for all four years of college, but I needed to warn potential customers that this place is one, big frustrating joke. read more

I went there once because everyone was raving about it. I ordered the brat burger which was good and my roommate ordered the regular cheeseburger, which was not. We ended up splitting my food because her burger had no seasoning and tasted frozen, i took a bite of hers. the male bartenders in the evening are the worst! they act like you ought to be waiting on them. they are supposed to be taking food and drink orders but they look at you like "whaddaya want?" We had to ask for menus, ask for a drink and when we wanted to order they never came around. We walked out and won't be back. read more
